Oliver blinked a couple of times when Russ offered his hand out to shake. Naturally, the younger male accepted it and shook the blond's hand in return offering a nod of his head as his way of saying good, before looking at Hildr. A soft smile appeared on his lips as his a thumbs up was given in order to agree with what she stated about what the team could achieve. "Everyone is rather interesting in their own way within the team it seems. Hildr and I are from two different places. Elliot and Carmine may be from around the kingdom, but obviously sport their own unique persona's." He thought to himself, before Russ brought up the topic of Opal. The blue eyed boy titled his head to the side in curiosity, but made no other indication of wanting more information. "She was the one I replaced. I had a chance to 'speak' with the headmaster a bit alone. I got some minor details about my team. Their names and stuff like that. He did tell me that I was taking the spot of a Fanuas girl named Opal due to some personal reasons. Hope everything turns out alright for her at least. Maybe one day I'll run into her or something.....hopefully it wouldn't be awkward though." Oliver's thoughts were interrupted upon hearing his named called. He hadn't heard what Carmine said prior to his name, so he was a bit confused. The boy didn't pursue what had been said as Carmine began explaining everything regarding their current location. A simple nodded was given in understanding as it made sense to him about the place.
Carmine's gesture and denial of his offer was a bit weird to him at first due to her wording. It made more sense when she instead stated it as her own personal time. Oliver merely shrugged with a tiny smile not going to press the matter because he was still new to everyone. Meeting new people and making new friends was a long process. It was a nice thing, yet an annoying thing at times too. There was no telling how long it would take for someone to be considered a friend or get to know someone on a more personal level. The hunter in training nodded at Carmine's offer to answer his questions he may or may not have. Surprisingly Oliver didn't have as many questions as one might think. The boy was smart enough to ask the headmaster some of the more important questions before Carmine had led him to the team dorm after she waited outside the office for him. It wasn't a big surprise that the headmaster did indeed know of his heritage, but was obvious about not letting anyone really know. Something about how that was the boy's business and only his own. "Well.....if I end up sparring or something I may have to use my semblance. If that's the case I'm sure it would be obvious considering as far as I know only a Schnee can use glyphs. Then again, I'd rather just save that for the Vytal Festival if we do indeed participate. Even if it was found out, I still have tricks up my sleeve on how I use it. Only time will tell."

Team ECHO
ʂvalrvænn Hildrhárr ~The Valkyrie~ "I won’t live my life like this, hoping I’ll find bliss. I’ll give it my everything, starting now!"
Burnt out from the tears that I’ve shed, and all of my unanswered prayers And this darkness I clench, the ignorance that I have bared Though my voice may be worn, and my hands may be covered in red My hearts held open by these scars All for you
Kaldrvindr ør-indi, ofan bjarghálfr Vindrblása ofholdalr Sky rjúfadagr, koma faragrey Vita þekkja, Hildrharr kváma
Elliot seemed to be most focused on catching up with his versatility, and Hildr wasn't at all surprised when she gave it a moment's thought. Myself and Carmine are both trained in multiple fighting styles, I'm not sure about Oliver yet, though. Hildr found herself glancing at her new team member for half a second, thinking of the possibilities. Daggers? Throwing knives? I really don't know what fighting styles are popular where he's from... Hildr snapped back to her original thought, glancing with her eyes back towards Elliot. "I agree with Carmine" she said "besides. I'm only adept at using Herja. I could use the weapons that Herja can become, but I would be limited by their inability to transform." Hildr realised afterwards that what she said might not really be much of a great explanation, so she scratched her head and gave a small exhale of breath with a smile.
Hildr was glad to see Oliver agree with her, a thumbs up signalling his response. Before Hildr knew it, she realised the conversation before they arrived had led onto Elliot and the other student discussing their previous member. Opal... Hildr felt a slight emptiness in her chest remembering how quickly she had come and gone. She hoped everything was alright for her, it wasn't every day a student leaves an academy entirely. Luckily, the topic quickly moved back to Oliver, and Hildr followed with a smile as she turned her face to look at him, agreeing wholeheartedly. Shortly after, Russet took his leave, letting them know he'd be just across the way with a small gesture. Hildr gave a slight nod of her head to say goodbye as he moved on. When Carmine began describing the amphitheatre to Oliver Hildr nodded in agreement. That was when discussion seemingly moved on, Hildr noted Oliver must have messaged Carmine via Scroll, without prying she let the conversation move on, knowing the topic would reveal itself. A running partner? Hildr thought, tilting her head slightly, giving Elliot a slight glance as he happened to be at the other end of the row in which they were sitting together. Hildr understood Carmine's reason for wanting to keep that time to herself, it was like when Hildr used the shower. She'd use the time wisely to think about what was happening, what had happened, what might come to pass. It straightened out her thoughts. Still two entirely different situations Hildr reminded herself, almost grimacing to herself.
"You're more than welcome to join me during my morning routine" Hildr calmly added when Oliver seemingly had no other questions. She gave a short smile to him, gesturing with her hand as she said "I practise my stances and techniques before some meditation, every day before classes begin. I understand... it might not be the most exciting thing to do on class days. But, the more the merrier, right?" she said looking to her whole team to finish. Sure, that might be my own time... but it does get a little boring and repetitive by myself.
As the very life that I’ve built, begins to tear itself apart And every feeling I felt, becomes a curse inside my heart No longer do I care if all the pain that I felt was in vain I can see nothing but you Anymore
The door slammed loudly behind Mauve as he strolled into the amphitheater. Well, strolling was the plan, but the sound of the door had the young man nearly jump out of his skin. With a quick turn, he shot a glare toward the door before spinning back around and headed toward the seating. Sombat days were Mauve's favorite, and his good mood showed in his tride. It wasn't because of the sparring, physical activity, or even showing off. No, Mauve was just happy he didn't have to wear that restrivetive uniform. Instead, he was wearing a long zip-up hoodie that mostly covered his lace-trimmed denim shorts. The handles of his axes both hung to the side of his mostly bare legs, and Mauve had to make sure they didn't catch on anything when he sat in the back row of the room. He'd wave if any of his classmates made eye-contact with him; otherwise, Mauve would simply wait for the remaining memebers of his team: noir and Crimson.
Over the weekend, he was lucky enough to learn more about Crimson, his partner, and even more lucky: He hadn't been out-on-the-town. Apparently, there had been attacks all around the city. Rumor had it that it was the White Fang. From what he knew, that particular level of organization was probably going to be considered a big step for them. If I'm right, they've been kind of quiet lately The biggest thing of note was Elliot and Stella's fight. Was that against the White Fang, though? All he'd heard were the rumors, so there wasn't a lot fro him to on. Elliot was here with Carmine and Hildr, but... Who was that guy with them? Mauve smiled. He was cute. At least Team ECHO was here, but what about Team STRS? While there were still a few more minutes before class started, he was a little worried about what exactly happened to his fellow students went through on their off-day. And if they were okay, then hos exactly did both students get caught up together?
A little jealous that the entirety of his own team hadn't shown up yet, the boy flipped open his scroll and openeed up the group message titled TEAM MNC. Sage had been taken out of the group chat the day he had to leave. It's a complete bummer. I didn't think the prestigious Beacon Academy had such a high turn-over rate. He though this before sending out the text: Oi! You guys on your way? I'm lonelyyy OAO

CRIMSON ARMATO -Student- --Beacon Academy-- ~The Heiress to Nihility and Hyperbole~
There'd be a quick creak from the door and a sudden abrupt whomp as it closed just as quickly, followed with the small clank clank clank pat pat pat... of armoured boots. Stopping just behind Mauve and quickly leaning over his shoulder, her long pink hair in a ponytail dropped down and laid against his shoulder and chest as she looked forward at the others in the room. "You're impatient, it takes a lady time to get dressed... and find some bits of armour sometimes after you haven't worn it for almost a week." She stated with a bit of a sour tone at the end part.
Giving a small giggle and smile before standing and briskly walking around the seats and taking a seat next to Mauve. Leaning back as her plate mail resting easily with her and her proper posture. Her sword on her hip now in it's sheath before her as she held it by the hilt and handle. Looking to him again but not saying anything before looking back to the others, seeing if she could remember who was who.

✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧They'd end up being late for class if they waited around too long. Stella was nowhere near about to let something like that happen. Her perfect attendance record was not going to be tarnished by a tardy. She'd fall asleep in class before that ever happened. "Wanna walk with me?" Stella asked Sigmund with a smile and a jab of her thumb toward the door. Rainer and Tala could catch up when they could, but if Sig was ready, the more the merrier. If he was up for it, she'd slip out the door with a "See you guys there" and a wave. They still had enough time to stop by the lockers to grab whatever their leader needed for class before heading to the amphitheater. In front of her, she could barely make out the light-colored tousles of one of the first years. The armor the female before her wore helped make her out. It was Crimson Armato of Team MNCS. Though, she hadn't seen Sage in some time now. Had they also lost a member? Goodness, Vale's chances in the Vytal Festival were not looking good at this rate...
Upon entering the amphitheater, Stella's eyes picked out Elliot rather quickly. She smiled and waved before following Sigmund to whatever seat he decided to pick out. Miss Scarlatina, despite her pleasant disposition seemed to be a little distracted. That seemed to happen from time-to-time, thought Stella was never sure why. "Singles, doubles, or teams today?" she asked her partner as they took their seats. She didn't think their professor had mentioned such in their last class, but it's not like that wasn't easily missed information. With a light yawn, the faunus girl closed her eyes and kept her ears open, in case Sig decided to strike up conversation or Miss Scarlatina began the class.

Noir Alcott
Noir was a little sad after doing the week of class with the team. His partner left to return to atlas, figured it was due to the order so he spent what time he can with his team leader Mau and fellow teammate Crim. But when he wasn't spending time with them, he was in full pursuit of knowledge in the school library or saving the beopup Lucky from the clutches of Dr. Oobleck and Mr. Porter and their giant nets. One time he remembered they lured the little guy out of the room while he was in class with a steak, unlucky for them however you don't tease animals with food. When they were in class later that day, they were a mess with ripped clothing and a broken pair of glasses and I had to say it was a little funny.
The weekend was the best time to see if I can create other grimm with approval from Oz, but like usual it was the same as before with Beowulfs, Ursa Minors, and Boarbatusks. Later, he figured that it might be from his emotions and as such respond and create a grimm connected to it. For now he figured to stop and enjoy his sunday. However, he gets a text from his leader and seeing that he is bored, Noir stood up and called for lucky and rushed right for the Domed building. He Crashed right trough it saying, "We are here!!!" Then ran right up to his leader and Crim with the pup panting with a smile, "Yo guys, what going on here? Weekend assembly thingy?" He said with a curious look as he sat dowm on one of the seats next to Crim and the pup jumped off his shoulder and onto his lap. The students in the school call Noir "The goofball' or 'The Grimm Tamer' but it was better then him being feared and easier to bring his buddy Lucky around and keep the teachers away from him so they don't do experiments on him as well.

OOC: I am a little rusty but I hope this will work.

There were a few students missing. Velvet scanned what seats were filled, trying to figure out who was there and by proxy, who wasn't. Team ECHO had a new Member, and Auburn's team did as well, though Russ seemed to be the only one of said team present thus-far. Today would probably be building coherency among the students. She pressed a cold finger to her lips, thinking about the odd turn-over as far as the student body went in the last week. The plan had been to focus on team attacks. Some had already established those some time ago while others were still working on it. Unfortunately, they were going to be dealing with substitutes all over the place, so maybe it was time to shake things up a bit. With a sigh, the faunus stood up and began to fiddle around with the tablet in her hands. As she did so, the faces of the present students would be organized on the projection above the stage in alphabetical order. As Noir walked in, she immediately added him to the second place right above Russet, but a familiar sight made her stop.
"Noir... While I understand your attachment, I think it better to leave your little friend in the dorms. For... it's own safety," she added, glancing over the students in the room. It was no secret that the young man had some strange affiliation with the little grimm. "If you feel the need to bring him back personally, I won't dock you for late or anything. Grimm or not, pets can't be in the amphitheater," she explained with an apologetic expression, thinking about how she just shooed her own cat for the same reason. Although... Noir's pet being a grimm held a bit more gravity than a regular animal. People attended Beacon Academy to hunt the creatures, after all. It'd be a shame if someone tried to attack the thing without holding back due to their hatred of the race. Hoping that was going to be the end of the conversation, Velvet went back to the list on her tablet.

"Heheh, hey Crimson," Mauve greeted with a grin as he looked up at his fully-clad partner. He followed her with his eyes as she took a seat next to him. "I won't lie; I am most certainly impatient," he said, sticking his nose up in the air before shooting the girl a rather flirty wink. "You're looking ready to slay as always. Are you putting extra time in your morning routine to impress me?" Mauve let his voice drop an octave, trying to tease his partner a little before laughing and turning toward the stage. Looks like things were going to get started soon. That was good, he was starting to get antsy. Unfortunately, his excitement was immediately destroyed when their remaining member Noir came crashing through the amphitheater doors with the grimm he'd so ironically named. "Man, I thought we'd talked about this..." the purple-haired boy complained with a glance over to Crimson. That little grimm was gonna cause all kinds of negative attention just by existing. It didn't matter if it was a different color, it was still grimm.
Mauve listened to Noir's questions with an unamused expression. "Noir..." His voice was low, like a frustrated parent. "While I appreciate your expediency, you do know that it's Monday, right? We have class..." Did he really want to become a huntsman? While spacing out was one thing, and a thing Mauve himself was guilty of, this was a little extreme. "Anyway, I thought we talked about Lucky staying in the dorms. He's safer there." At the sound of Professor Scarlatina's voice, his expression flattened. Mauve had hoped she hadn't noticed before they could've gotten Lucky out of there. The less attention it had drawn to it, the better. If the little beowolf wanted to survive this semester without becoming instantly targeted, they were going to have to keep it on the download. Calling attention to it in the middle of class was not going to achieve that. At least they had an understanding professor. There were a few who would've simply taken shots first and asked questions later. "We'll save your seat for ya, okay?"Seriously, if this gets our team in trouble, I'm gonna riot.

Crimson simply gave a raised nose side smirk herself back to her teammate at his comment. "I, always strive to carry myself radiantly for everyone to gaze upon~" She then let out a short snort and went wide eyed having been caught off guard by the other knight and the grimm pup. Having had a few experiences already with it either in her stuff, atop her bed, or even trying to play with her feet as she came out of the shower, she threw her arms up and legs out with a short 'eep!' One gauntlet gripping her sword before freezing in place at the combination of her leader speaking, and professor Velvet speaking to them almost as a whole, but to him in particular.
Quickly lowering her sword and her head back to her original pose and seat. Mumbling back to Mauve, "Darn that grimm of h-ii...." She stopped looking to him and stared at the floor hoping to not be called out as well, as well as catching a glimpse of Mauve's face.

Noir nodded in understanding to his leader and Miss. Scarlatina and stood up quickly with a shocked face, "Right, my apologies, lets get you back to the room before crazy doctor and hunter get you with those nets! Also thanks you for watching my seat." As he left the room thanking the student to watch his seat, he saw the two teachers Dr. Oobleck and Mr. Porter just waiting for him and the pup so they began to run with them chasing them with ridiculously large dog catchers nets. However, the chase only lasted for a few minutes thanks to the fear of losing his friend and the fact the two looked like they were foaming in the mouth, he didn't want to get caught so for five minutes they hid in bushes, trees, got Lucky into the room, ran back again while hiding from hall monitors and the two crazy teacher.
Noir returned looking like he just saw a ghost with a hand in the air saying with a sort-of smile, "I-I made it, and sweet trees that was as hard as the training my dad did to me when he threw me into that pit with wooden spears." Without realizing it, he had twigs and branches from the bushes and trees he had to use just to go to the room and back without being scene and some sap on his left shoulder armor piece.

Once the last of Sigmund's things had been put on the young man looked at Stella when she posed her question. "Sure why not. I doubt you wanna be late."He mentioned standing up to stand next to the purple haired Faunus. The walk had been rather quiet in his opinion more so than usual. There was things on his mind, although Stella appeared to have a bit of a skip in her step. The two second years walked to go their lockers in order for Sigmund to grab his things. It didn't take much longer to arrive at the amphitheater. There was a sizeable group, although people were obviously missing. Professor Velvet was waiting for the class, but some distant for a lack of better term. Team ECHO was present which was made known when Stella waved to Elliot. MNCS and Russ was there as well. It was a bit weird that Russ was by himself without at least Auburn, then again there was no telling what that girl could be up to. He and her didn't really get along that well unfortunately. The two had differing opinions after all. Stella sat next Sigmund once he took his seat looked at her when she questioned him. "That's up in the air. Maybe doubles or teams....then again not all teams seem to be here so doubles would be my guess. I wonder if she'll pair up partners or random people with one another. If given the choice should we go choose someone else or go with each other?"Sigmund questioned out of pure curiosity. A small part of him could see her going to pair up with Elliot out of her own choice. It would make sense, but then again Stella thoughts were confusing sometimes.
