Shu stared at the device on hand, blinked a few times and gave puzzled looks to the people around the professor. She might, through her action, let the rest notice the device. However, there wasn't any name on it. If she remembered correctly, it was used to summon a ride pokemon out.......
The petite coordinator pondered over the issue for a while, asked a random someone to call her when the professor woke up or things happened, before she went outside to an open space. Her idea was simple, even the device had no name, the pokemon would recognize its owner.
Therefore, when she was outside, she pressed every button or whatever she could on the pager .
It seemed that Ern was a bit late to the party... by the time he fought his way through the crowds gawking at the Legendary Pokemon and actually found the stupid lab, he was in a pretty foul mood. Stomping inside, he eyed the sleeping Professor and tried to find where his mouth might be within the mass of hair. He then proceeded to shove the note there.
Then he noticed the back room and a growing crowd of people there. Eyeing the mess scattered around, he ignored the computer and messages. Instead, he decided to try taking apart one of the server towers that looked more taped-together.

Caroline - Mom [outside] ---
Alola had been so much better. Actual paradise. The longer they stayed here, the more she regretted the choice to leave. Lumiose was big and fancy, but it felt too hard to catch her breath here, always swept up in the next Big Thing the city had to offer. Maybe they'd move back to another island. Maybe that could work, Caroline reasoned, if she just picked the right one. It would surely be easier to keep track of her daughter on a little island instead of here, where she could hardly keep track of herself.
Sending her to see the Professor seemed safe enough. She'd been tentative about letting her go anywhere alone since the day she'd allowed her to first embark on her adventure, considering her daughter's disappearance immediately thereafter. People said the Drifloon just carried her away, not to worry, it happens. The girl had always been a little off at best, but when the wind brought her and her Pokemon back again, she was downright weird. It only got worse - namely after she brought home the Mimikyu - but Caroline tried to encourage her adventures nonetheless. Weird wasn't wrong, right?
Or it had seemed safe, until she made her way into the city shortly thereafter and asked about the nearest Nurse where she could find the Professor. Honestly, she didn't think she'd ever seen such a negative expression on a Joy's face before. That was concerning.
Not as concerning as the giant legendary monster that she couldn't possibly miss after leaving the Center, but still concerning.
"She's fine," she assured herself in an anxious exhale. "Yeah. Just fine. Not like she'd try to--" No, that thing was making little shadow portals pop into existence. Like holes in the universe to crawl right through. Mimsy would absolutely try to get near it.
Caroline heaved a lengthy sigh, tied her hair back, and pushed into the city with determined focus.

It was becoming increasingly obvious that the dingy "Professor's" lab had seem more human company than possibly it's entire basement-created duration. The server towers had all but collapsed, possibly causing even more hundreds of stored Pokemon to disappear into the network, there was an alarm blaring now from somewhere that just kept on shouting "ALERT ALERT" and the original occupant of the room was still fast asleep, or dead, once again proving why there needed to be so many letters sent out to so many trainers almost all simultaneously at the same time (ironically, most were not about the sudden occurrence of Yvetal, but more about the fact that countless Pokemon were missing from their boxes misplaced, though that was another story for another time).
Before all seemed just entirely pointless, as there was still quite a few attractions to check out in Lumiouse (such as the fantastic lottery or even the giant multi-floored department store), in a moment of pure miracle, the Professor stood up-
- proving that he was just as horrifically disheveled as he was lying down. He picked who knows what from his shirt, opened his mouth to say something that was drowned by the noise of everything, looked around, blinked, scratched his head (in any particular order), and then tried again. "Look, if this is about the box thing, I was fixing it, I swear I-"
- And then his pager, which someone else was holding, began to beep uncontrollably and frantically, louder than anything in the two rooms. It was almost comical how dramatically the professor's face turned from disinterest, to a sudden, slow realization, to what was genuine alarm. "Get out of the lab!"
They had a single, confusing, warning before something, pure energy, pressure alone, knocked everyone on their feet. It felt like time itself had stopped.
And then, in a sudden blur of motion, everything rushed forward, all at once. The basement began to crumble, leaving only bare seconds for all occupants to gather their wits to escape. At first, it seemed like it was just an internal accident, perhaps the servers had finally blown up, perhaps it was just some Trainer's Pokemon accident, until the chaos outside proved to be far worse. Through thick clouds of smoke and fire, people were seen fleeing every direction, upturning cars, shapes and sizes trampling each other as they tried to escape through the torn streets away from a single source-
- The Lumiouse center gym.
A sea of thick grey dust rise higher than the spreading smoke, fanning outwards, pushing everyone again off their feet. As the smoke slowly settled, as the burning smell of street tar permeated everything, the sight around what had been a city was nearly impossible to comprehend. The buildings, the tower, the trainers, anything standing even remotely close in the two-block radius of the tower had been entirely wiped out, as if someone had simply removed the centerpieces and replaced it with a thick, ashen black mess. And in the epicenter of the gaping abyss was a shadow, looming, circling lower and lower.
It had spotted the survivors.
Without warning, the concrete around the collapsed Professor's lab began to sizzle, and then erupt entirely into white flames. The arc of concentrated fire cuts behind all the nearly-escaped, neatly slicing a lamp-pole in half. There was nowhere to go.
“D-do something!” Professor "M", somehow still alive, oddly enough, scurried behind two boulders of decimated basement, hiding behind it like a war zone. “Stall it if you can! Don’t look at me, look at the sky!” He gesticulated wildly as a beam of fire nearly missed frying his everything on the spot. “Do you want to live or not?"
GENERAL EVENT OOC
If you have NOT posted in the event yet, just read post 1, be aware of it, and jump in to reply to this post! Anyone is still invited to come post!
BOSS FIGHT
VERSUS YVETAL: HP ???
exclaimPICK ONE of the three actions below during this time. exclaim Rp it out to the best of your abilities and follow the rules for the actions. You may repeat the action up to three times in any order (or a mix of any of the three). Once you have used up your three actions, you are still allowed to rp/interact with each other but you can no longer use any actions for this rp rount.
OPTION 1: BATTLE:
- Yvetal will take damage depending on it's weakness. Once again, you are free to assemble a team of up to 5 pokemon (starter option leave it to the Gms) and use them in this battle. The more damage Yvetal takes, the more likely it will be for capture in this and the next phase.
- Roll the dice accordingly to the SPOILER below and summon one pokemon from your team to use ICly in battle against Yvetal. Use the FORM BELOW to post your battle post.
gaia_starIf your STUDENT/HUNTER IN THEIR ORIGINAL FORM IS y1/QUEST: Roll 1d6. This determines your pokemon's damage.
gaia_starIf your STUDENT/HUNTER IN THEIR ORIGINAL FORM IS y2/ HORSEMEN IS Y1: Roll 2d6. This determines your pokemon's damage.
gaia_starIf your STUDENT/HUNTER IN THEIR ORIGINAL FORM IS y3/ HORSEMEN IS Y2: Roll 3d6. This determines your pokemon's damage
gaia_star[ IF YOUR POKEMON YOU SUMMONED IS ELECTRIC, ICE, ROCK, OR FAIRY TYPE ]: Multiply your damage you rolled by x2
gaia_star[ IF YOUR POKEMON YOU SUMMONED IS DARK OR GRASS TYPE ]: Multiply your damage you rolled by x0.5
gaia_star[ IF YOUR POKEMON YOU SUMMONED IS NONE OF THE ABOVE ]: Damage is x1
gaia_star[ IF YOU ROLL TWO OF THE SAME DICE NUMBER] ie: 2,2 or 1,1. Double your damage. Do this as the last stage after you've applied all the above.
- USE THIS FORM TO POST ATTACKING :
**ROLL YOUR DICE HERE BY FOLLOWING THE MECHANICS** My damage done: TOTAL DAMAGE DONE: Look at the post above and edit your total damage on top of theirs. Do this before submitting your rped portion so people know what the updated is.
- When you're done editing the damage done, make sure to rp out the post according to reactions and the like.
- After reaching a certain damage threshold, Yvetal will be susceptible for capture! Read the below on capturing!
OPTION 2: SAVING PEOPLE:
- Obviously, it's not just the Pokemon, but also the civilians nearby. You have the option to save people who are wandering around. They will reward you for your time.
- Roll 1d6 (1 6-sided dice) to generate a random event. Rp the post accordingly, and pick up any prizes you may get.
Rolling a 1: You rescue a young trainer's pokemon from drowning in a tar pit with you and your pokemon. They thank you greatly, leaving behind a strange item.. ( Add +1 ultra ball to your inventory) Rolling a 2: You manage to reunite an elderly couple and get them out of the danger area, while doing an excellent combo of dodging fire, smoke and laser beams from you and potentially your pokeball. They give you their prized item as a thank you. ( You obtain an ATK UP. On your next battle move (using STEP 1), add +10 more damage to your final tally) Rolling a 3: You try to rescue a trainer nearby, but end up with quite severe burns on both arms. They feel terrible for you and help you battle as well,.On your next battle move (using STEP 1), multiply your final damage tally by x3) Rolling a 4: You get lost in the thick of the smoke, and start to feel dizzy, when you feel something watching you from the distance. You're not too sure what it is, but you can visibly feel it keeping the destruction at bay, like some protective force. It tells you to keep on fighting (+1 bonus raffle ticket, you can go ahead and just turn it in!) Rolling a 5: You see a trainer trying their best to fight back, but their pokemon is severely injured. You use your limited items to help heal their pokemon and bring them back to safety. They thank you by giving you their items. (Add +2 ultra balls to your inventory). Rolling a 6: Somehow, you manage to trip and fall on your feet. (Nothing happens)
OPTION 3: CAPTURING YVETAL:
- If you obtained any extra ultra balls from option 2, you can use them here as well. Yvetal's capture depends very severely on how much damage you have done to it.
- Roll 1d4 in your post to see how many Ultra Balls you are carrying. You may only use the ones you rolled for. For each Ultra Ball you own (for example if you roll a 3 you have 3 now plus any extras you got in OPTION 2) you will need to make a separate post doing the steps below:
- For EACH Ultra Ball you own, look at the most recent damage tally post from any player that posted last. Now, when you try to capture it, use the following calculation IN THE SPOILERS:
gaia_star If Yvetal is at full health: It is impossible to capture, you might as well just lob at it for no reason gaia_star If Yvetal is at 50-100 damage: Roll 3d100 to use ONE ultra ball from your collection. If you roll a 300 you have captured it (???). QUOTE ZOOBEY. gaia_star If Yvetal is at 100-200 damage. Roll 2d100 to use ONE ultra ball from your collection. If you roll a 200 you have captured it (???). QUOTE ZOOBEY. gaia_star If Yvetal is at 200+ damage. Roll 1d100 to use ONE ultra ball from your collection. If you roll a 100 you have captured it (???). QUOTE ZOOBEY.
- A reminder that you can only use THREE ACTIONS TOTAL from any of the above. If you fail to capture it, just rp it out accordingly.
- As of current, capturing is VERY difficult, if not nearly impossible. If nobody has captured Yvetal (???), another post will go live 24 hours from now detailing purely capturing it.

An artist at heart, Rodney was a fan of expression. While unconventional by all means, the local professor had finally relinquished his Mime Jr, because it had an appreciation for art that not even the professor could understand.

Being the best mom there ever was to have momed, Caroline of course would have followed the mother's style guide of having a very fashionable Meowth (regular) as her starting pokemon and companion
By the time she had reached the grandeur of lumiouse city it was too late to save it's splendor. Everything had been leveled, leaving only charred debris behind. The cause of this disaster was still circling overhead, lashing out at the survivors below.
Pokerus would leave the rescue of the people to the others; she was only interested in the one in a lifetime chance to fight the gods of this world. A toothy grin crept across her face, one hand clasped around a pokeball which she threw with glee.
"Gyra!" She shouted as the ball burst open to reveal the large pokemon inside, towering over his trainer. "Hyper Beam!"
Shaking it's frilled head, the gyarados opened it's jaws wide, a golden sphere forming between it's teeth before a powerful blast was sent towards the much larger Yvetal.
"By the g-gods DON'T EAT ME!" Came a terrified cry, as Jason had to leap to the ground to escape one of Yvetal's attacks. He had just arrived himself to witness the leveling of the city, a horrible sight. It hurt to see such a beautiful place destroyed, but now wasn't the time to grieve. He had to help the injured people and pokemon to escape.
He wasn't about to go anywhere near the large legendary, keeping out of it's sight as he scanned the area, a growlithe appearing at his side.
A cry nearby caught their attention, the duo running towards the source; a old lady was cowing under some lose rubble, sobbing about losing her husband.
"I-i's alright, we'll find him" Jason soothed her as he moved the heavier debris away from her, nodding towards his companion. Already the pokemon had his nose to the ground, trying to sniff out the elderly man. Soon enough he howled, and bounded off leaving his trainer to help the old woman to her feet before following the growlithe.
It hadn't gone far, bounding around a larger pile of rubble. Jason was quick to run towards it, pushing away the larger pieces. Underneath it all was the womans husband, a little dazed but thankfully unharmed.
Once they were together, they thanked him for his efforts with a special item, leaving Jason to focus on finding more people.

Well, since he wasn't an employee, "Pleased to meet you, Bartholomew. A good point about the situation, it is rather a mess out there to warrant more actions being taken. You'd think a professor would know all about such an event as this, or at least have the tools to investigate it."
Turning to Crimson, "I'm sure many artists will be taking a pilgrimage to the city before long. It'll become a great source of tourist generated revenue for the city I'm sure." Lareina replied as she peeked out the window, "Oh, right, the professor."
At Crimson's mention, Lareina seemed to remember the professor actually existed. As a medic, she should probably actually bother to go check up on him..
But then the sexy lopbunny popped up, and her attention was pulled back to the screen. "Is.. is that language? What atrocities have been committed upon our vocabulary.." She gave a dramatic sigh, really just complaining about everything at this point.
Still, not one to only be a downer, her mood seemed to improve and her voice become a tone lighter. "Perhaps ask if the professor has any sleep conditions rather than pretending to be." Even though pretending to be would get them more information, her medic's guilt was just now starting to kick in.
A new woman's voice prompted Lareina to peer up again, "The atrocious noise has been defeated by.. uh, this person," She waved towards the girl at the keyboard, having not quite caught her name yet, "And currently seeking to further understand the situation."
Finally she stood to go investigate the professor, pokeball at hand, "Chansey, hold your nose." She cautioned her companion before letting her out of the pokeball.
Before Chansey even made it bedside, the professor stood up. Alarms went off. Suddenly the basement was crumbling and the rush of departure simply added more confusion atop their already hectic day.
Taking in the scenery, Lareina winced, "I take back what I said about tourism." She mumbled.
Why was it attacking now? What made things change? Regardless, her duty as a medic was finally in full gear, and she turned to survey those around her with Chansey at her side.

It looked like those who needed her aid the most were over there - she set off at a jog, smoke wafting heavily about her. So much fire and destruction.. Despite her many flaws, giving up was not one of them. Arms outstretched to prevent bumping in to anything, she attempted to go by sound to make her way out of the accidental smoke labyrinth. Just there.. what was that? Something akin to instinct or some sensation told her it was helping them as the feeling of encouragement washing over her. "You too! Hang in there!" She called out to the smoke at the likely-just-her-imagination being.

Fia thanked the green haired girl and the girl at the computer. She looked over at the professor. "I'm glad someone here is getting something done." Fia waved her hand towards the professor.
"Sorry I didn't introduce myself. I'm Fia, Pokemon Per-"
Suddenly, there were more noises and then the professor yelling for everyone to get out of the lab. Some sort of energy moved everyone that was inside out towards something. The pressure caused her knees to be a bit weak and couldn't stand up straight for a while.
When the world seemed to stop moving, Fia stood up and looked around. The people around the computer was still nearby, but the surrounding had changed. "Did someone press the wrong button or something?"
She gave them a smile, half joking half worried. They had been pulled towards the Lumiouse gym. People were running away from that point in all directions. She was mostly confused, until Fia realized Yvetal was in the air above them. The professor shouted to do something, so she did. Fia reached for the pokeballs under her jacket and pulled out her oldest looking pokeball. "The professor seems to wake up at least when something bad is happening! Go, Gardevoir!"
The legendary pokemon roared at Gardevoir as she just looked at the legendary, waiting for Fia's instructions. "We can do this Gardevoir! We may not be able to defeat it, but at least we can protect people and do something!" Gardevoir turned to Fia, smiled and chimed in agreement.
"Moonblast, Gardevoir!" Fia watched as Gardevoir nodded and launched her attack. Yvetal roared as the attack hit. "Get ready for whatever it has planned!" The pokemon nodded in agreement.
Well seems that going through the garbage was not a bad thing, He had found the revive which would be helpful, leftovers which he gave to one of his pokemon, the half used super potion was interesting, it was as good as well not much more than what it was. He shrugged and pocketed it too.
It was then that the warning to get out of the lab was yelled and he didn't waste any time, he raced out of the lab in a mad panic, or at least tried to, in the end he ended up flat on his stomach.
So.. strong.. Shiki thought, as well as he could think anything. He picked himself up and looked around Prof M was right, something needed to be done. He would fight but not before ensuring that someone at least was able to get away to tell what happened here.
Shu - Pokemon Coordinator Performer (I mixed the two up....)] Team members:

As the petite girl was outside the lab, she didn't know inside it became a mess. Neither the collapse of server towers nor the blaring alarm. She waited patiently as time went, until - the device in her hand made thunder-like noises. Reflectively came the desire to protect her ears, Shu nearly dropped the pager. Her instinct told her something went wrong.
Before she had time to figure it out, the lab behind began to make weird noises, like one she heard when a train passed by. Grasping tightly on the pager, she turned around to catch people struggled their ways out the shaking structure. "What's going on......." Everything came to a drastic change within seconds, it confused Shu.
Besides her, anybody just escaped and gathered outside the structure was wearing a puzzled and startled face. She'd exchanged information with others if not a big crisis had arrived. The first thing on her mind was the searing heat emitted from the leftover of the structure, she could barely yelled to warn the rest, before it was swallowed and being part of the flames.
It all happened too fast, her rapidly beating heart gave her a suffocating illusion. She rolled her eyes widely, shocked by the event and her mind was blanked for a few seconds.
“D-do something!” The request from the professor served perfectly as a wake-up alarm. The petite girl braced up, put a hand on her chest and took a deep breath. She wanted to live, she still had many things she desire to try, she hadn't become Kalos Queen yet. What's more, there were others with her, normal people who needed to be rescued from misery-
On the othe hand, Yvetal had already locked on them. Hence, some of them had to be the baits when others performed rescues. She knew she had to do that. Taking another deep breath to calm her panic soul, she stepped forward and allowed herself to be spotted. -----------------------------------------------------------
OPTION 1: BATTLE
"S-Sylveon, Disarming Voice!" From the pokeball she tossed out, a beautiful creature appeared. It gave a sweet purr at Shu, before it let out a charming cry at the opponent which was several times of its size. "I'm sorry to drag you into this tought battle, but brave girl, together we can do this!" She brushed over the long ears of the pokemon affectionately. Shu knew what danger she was facing, and her nerves were stretching in pain.
The petite girl not only saying that to the pokemon, but also to herself so that she won't wimp out. Fingers hid within her palms and toes curled inside her boots nervously, she realized how hard it was going to be. The giant creature didn't flinch at all at Sylveon's attack.

With a few colorful words, Ern rushed from the lab sustaining minor injuries from the debris. Chaos surrounded him on all sides. With his pokeballs in a white knuckled grip, he decided his best bet was to try to save as many people as his could.
"Dodrio lets go!" he shouted tossing a ball to the air. An equally angry three headed bird materialized from the red light of the opened ball. With the two side heads beginning to scan the rubble of the city in search of people, Ern used the middle head to leap onto the bird's back...

And slipped falling onto the cement of the street. He tasted blood on his tongue, his lip swelling from being bitten. "This is what I get for choosing to be nice," hissed the boy taking his time this go to climb onto the snickering Dodrio's back.
"Uh," was the extremely eloquent response that came out of his mouth as he stared, open mouthed, at the mass confusion that was going from one side of the lab to the other. He took a step forward, then a step back, then tried to sidle sideways back the way he had come, except there was much too much going on that he only managed to bounce off of someone else and then stumble forward again and faceplant into the floor.
Maybe if he just lay there the world would decide it was over by the time he decided to get up again.

October Flynn LATE TO THE PARTY
Rolling a 6: Somehow, you manage to trip and fall on your feet. (Nothing happens)
The people who were around her were friendly enough given the circumstances, but the mysterious person at the other end didn't answer back and she stared at the screen, acutely aware that there was something up still as the sound continued. Though someone asked for her to have room and she smiled back at the person as a thank you, before hearing another question behind her about the person calling. "I think that's probably whoever is on this message but whoever it is isn't answering." Because why would they... She smirked at the comment about language. "This might as well be alien writing to me... this isn't helping though." A hand moved out and slapped at the screen.
Another girl had walked over and she wanted to punch the computer since it hadn't stopped. "Not sure, but entering the password didn't do a damn thing... except lead me to this... thing." She motioned at the entirety of the message on the screen, feeling it was all just as useless as the Professor...
But suddenly, he wasn't, as he was standing up again, perfectly fine. She glared in his direction. "Professor M-!" It happened after that and she felt her entire body shift. "What-?!"
There was little time to argue and less time to move as it seemed to be collapsing on itself and she dove with the others to get to freedom. Coming from a home of clean air and trees, the fire burned her senses and she rose, staring at the utter chaos. "Those idiots... did they push it..." Maybe if she had spent less time worrying about the "capture" message, she could have kept an eye on it. Though the second thought came of what would have happened had she been outside in this mess and unaware.
Standing with the group that was near the computer she looked back at them, then at the Pokemon again with a fire in her eyes, though everything crumbled around her. "We've got to get that thing out of the sky..." Her mind clicked quickly. It needed to be out of the sky, and be taken care of since something was obviously wrong with it, but that could only happen if... Iyari looked at her belt for her Pokemon and looked back up. "We gotta make it stop!" She cried out, moving from the others and letting a love ball into the air. "Go, Erato!" Out from her ball came her Togekiss, zooming into the air to make a strike...

It seemed to at least feel it before Erato flew back from an attack. Iyari was proud but shouted. "We have to damage it if someone is going to get it off the streets so it can't hurt anyone else!!!"
Preschooler Carlos was here! He would help! (Also who the heck let the preschool have the luxray he was riding in on? Was that even his or his mom's? Or was it his babysitter?)
Carlos was of course more interested in reuniting this lovely older couple, carrying the old lady on the back of his luxray to the older gentleman who hugged her immedietly.
What a brave and charming young man. "Go fight the legendary." they said to the preschooler.
