 ( #ECB028 ) Roll: 2 - The concoction seems smooth and almost pleasing! Nearly Beloved dryly states that he's pleased that you enjoyed the sample (though not sounding or looking it at all) and waves you away from his booth. 0 tokens. Skeleton Parade smiles at the buck, who's serving some sort of drink. Smells interesting enoug. "I'll have a taste." she waits for him to pour it out, watching the liquid swirl into the rock. She slurps it up, surprised it actually tastes nice. Her adventures didn't earn her a token, but she'll have to come back and see if he'd be willing to share his secret of this liquid.

 She felt compelled to try it again, but the same taste elicited the same reaction. "Bleh," she stated, abruptly sticking her tongue out. Goodness gracious.

4. The drink has a strange effect on you - you suddenly feel wide awake, and your following antics almost turn up a corner of Nearly Beloved's mouth. 1 token! Humor approached the shell with interest, sniffing at the liquid. What was this? She tipped her head, interested before taking a deep sip of the liquid. This, what was this? She jerked her head up, body thrumming with energy. She could do anything, yes she could, did you want to watch her do the things, she could totally do the thing.

"But - it tastes how?" asked Hunter and Hound, furrowing her brow. She didn't like the look of the kin walking away from this. It wasn't that bad, though, she thought. "Could do with a bit more spice, perhaps," she offered. It felt rather like he'd scooped up some mud and poured it into the log. Offensive, sure, but rather ordinary, all things considered.

EJB was always up for an adventure, so when she approached the green colored buck and took a sip from the stone, she did so heartily and with an air of brazenness. The jitters did their thing as she thought they would and quickly set her legs into a shiver and her heart into motion, and she faced Nearly Beloved with a smile.
"I haven't had strong stuff like this since I was a young one, just setting out!" She cheered, eagerly nosing the rock toward him for more. "Please, pour me a second cup dear, and I'll tell you how you can improve this mighty little bean!"
She only took the token when she'd chattered for a solid twelve minutes and, probably, had to be escorted away by force.Quote: 5. Surely by now the buck had to cotton on to the fact that one kin had come back for three samples, but Smash-and-Mash was totally down for pushing her luck. The drink was so bitter, so hot- and yet, so good. She spluttered and coughed her way through the drink. Heat flooded her nose. "Another!" she said, before lumbering off. She'd be back. Oh yes. She'd be back.

He snorts a bit as the liquid ends up in his nose, but it wasn't really too bad. Just... Uncomfortable up his nose...

Beauty managed to hold her tongue this time, but as a consequence, had her cheeks bulging as she tried to keep a cough in. It was probably because the buck was hot that she kept coming back, not the dirnk.

9. You enjoy the first sip and go for more, then suddenly start to hiccup uncontrollably. Nearly Beloved watches you intently. 1 token! Truth rather liked the first sip he tried and completely forgetting his manners rushed to take another, however it seemed that this was notthe sort fo drink one should gulp down and the buck stagged off with a mumbled sorry hiccupping uncontrollably.

Dawn could totally go for a drink. This booth was willingly offering a drink to those who were willing to try it, and thus, they were in agreement. Stepping forward when it was his turn, Dawn willingly took a sip of the liquid, but felt that it was sticky and a little difficult to swallow. "Bleh . . ." He murmured out loud, as he attempted to make it go down his throat, but he just had too much of an issue, and barely noticed the shrug from the green kin. (3. The brown liquid's taste has you dramatically sticking your tongue out with an audible "bleh." Nearly Beloved shrugs. 1 token! )

EJB, bless her heart, came back to Nearly Beloved's booth with gusto and immediately asked for another sample of the brew. It had been such a source of nostalgia for her and, after going home and waiting out the jitters, made her remember about fifty more stories that she couldn't wait to tell the eerily colored buck. She took her sip, sat pretty, and laughed as her legs started bouncing in place.
"Whooo! Guess I'm still not used to this jittery effect, eh?" She giggled, noting the slight up-turn of Nearly Beloved's mouth. "Ha! You seem to like seeing how it works on others! A bit of an odd pastime, but I can't blame you darling! It's always good to be curious!"
While her legs, and gradually the rest of her body, continued to shake, EJB stuttered out countless wild tales from when she was younger. Once again, she had to be escorted away from the booth by force and seemed to vibrate away without a bother. She'd just have to come back tomorrow to finish her tales!Quote: 4.
