 He would have been super confused by the seemingly empty area that was set up for an event, if it wasn't for the group of kin doing some chasing around with rocks.
"So, we're expected to push rocks down a way, hm?" He answered out loud, looking to Brother for an explanation. An explanation is what he got, and when he looked at the rock that Brother was so excited to have him push, he gave the livelier buck a look before starting to push the rock down the way, using his chest and forelegs for leverage. . . . He could have done it. If he was younger and spry, but it seemed that the hermit was a little out shape, and he could see the end point, but his legs were just done with this event. He could just go and lay down for a while, easy. Quote: 4. A stone about the size of your chest. That'll take some shoving... 4. So close! You were just about to succeed!

Lavender's Blue found it easy to nudge the stone along the track and only paused once to shake the dirt from her head. By then, she'd made it more than half way and simply shoved the rock as hard as she could to roll it across the line. She took her token with a smile.Quote: 6. Flame Lily sees a round, but rather large rock. She decides to give it a go. She leans on the stone and gives it a shove. Watching it roll she tries to think positive thoughts. Sadly it stopped half way to the end. She tucked her tail and walked away slowly.

The hare-sized rock is small, and she considers it curiously, attempting a small shove with a foot. It happens to shift along easily, and she reaches the end with no problem. She smiles shyly at the excited buck as she manages her success, and then regards the others curiously, and silently, proud.

What an odd little booth. Sun-Bleached watched kin pushing various rocks down a lane for some time until he finally decided to give it a go. When he finally did, the rock he was given was so strange - it was very dark, and full of holes, as though some strange, stone-eating worms had burrowed right through it! Thankfully the holes seemed to make the large rock very light, and it took almost no effort for the young buck to push the thing to the end of the lane with his forehead. Did he really deserve so many cheers for something so simple?

Darkness Calls looks at the pile of rocks and the stretch of track.. He can do this, no problem! He looks at the rock given to him by Brother, then studies the track. Darknes starts forward, kicking the rock easily to the end of the track in no time at all. That was fast! He grinned as his rock passed the finish line. Quote: 3. A hare-sized rock.  Chrysanthemum huffed and frowned down to her belly. This third pregnancy was really taking it's toll upon her, she couldn't even push a stone all the way to the end of a line! What a bother. She couldn't wait until this clutch was born, then she could get back to work!

Doesn't quite make it was an understatement! Feather let out a loud shriek (very much unlike him!) as he rolled it over his tail. With tears in his eyes, Feather began to slink away, tail held between his legs. That was going to bruise!

Oh, this stone was certainly bigger than the last one. Something More eyed it over, shying away from looking at it too long. It wasn't like she wasn't strong, but she certainly was no Totoma. With a deep breath, she pushed at the boulder and gave all of her effort to move it forward. She thought she had it for a moment, but only fell over her stumbling hooves. The buck was well-humored though. If she wasn't still embarrassed, she'd try again tomorrow.

"What a weird rock! Where in the world did you get it?" Low Tide spent quite a few moments staring at, and through, the weird rock when she approached the brightly colored buck's booth. When she finally realized she was holding up the line, she became quite embarrassed and flustered; in an effort not to look too silly - and to get out of everyone's way! - she gave the stone a hefty kick with her back leg. Surprisingly, it went sailing! Brother cheered her ecstatically, and she ended up creeping off rather quickly, quite sheepish at all of the attention.

Fresh stares at the cracked sandstone with some disbelief. There was no way this thing was going to go over the line in one piece, yikes! She tries though, kicking it slowly and softly with her front feet as carefully as she can; but unfortunately it falls apart anyway. Oh well, at least she tried. She manages to get it across the finish line, but it's a crumbled mess of failure anyway. She shrugs, and hopes she can manage again another time and get another token; but hopefully one where she succeeds!

Marigold whined and finally allowed herself to sit down for a rest. This stone was way too heavy for her to push! Now that? That had been easy! When he was directed to the pile of stones Feather knew exactly what to do. He had a long and fluffy tail, it'd be perfect for slamming into each and every pebble. His plan worked, too! Man, wasn't that a confidence booster?

"I'm ready," trilled Optimist, thrusting her nose into the air.
She of all kin maybe shouldn't have been trusted with the delicate stone, but it looked like she was moving it along with a surprising amount of care. She got it halfway before she was given her token, and she skipped off without helping the buck reset the track.
