The battle was over quickly. Nidoran’s victory was essentially foreseen since Metapod only had a handful of moves such as Harden, String Shot and Tackle. None of those moves were very effective against Nidoran which was why she chose him for battle. Since going on this journey with her new team Misa hardly summoned Nidoran. Now that wasn’t fair to the Poison-type creature. Even it needed its time in the sunshine. So when another opponent came out of the bushes it was Nidoran up to this one.

There was no need to heal her small Nidoran. The battle with Petilil didn’t cause her Pokemon to take any damage. It was gaining some valuable experience though as it was now leveling up. When it came to evolving, that would take a while since Misa already had plans to evolve it at a certain level. For her pair of Nidorans timing was very important. She wanted to evolve them well in their 30’s due to some moves that they could only learn as a Nidoran than their evolved counterpart. Plus, if she was going to evolve them then she wanted to make sure that they were going to be much stronger than their current self.

Misa went towards Nidoran to heal its wounds. At least the Caterpie was able to put up more of a fight than the Metapod and Petilil. Once its wounds were closed and healed the girl returned Nidoran back into its ball. It had done a splendid job in fighting off all the opponents thus far. Yet Misa was not blind to their next opponent. A Butterfree sprouted from a nearby bush and went to challenge the girl. Perhaps after fighting off all of its previous evolutions had made it a bit sensitive. That was fine with her as she summoned Vaporeon out onto the field.

The battle was over with the prize left on the flowery field. The girl was quick to thank Vaporeon just as it was returned back into its ball. So far this island had proved beneficial to only her more stronger Pokemon. Mankey and Jigglypuff hardly had any way to train during this trip. Hopefully the next island would prove to be a bit more beneficial to her companions but maybe that could be achieved through Trainer Battles than Pokemon Battles. From what she gathered the Trainer’s Pokemon at least had some low level Pokemon before bring out their big guns. She would see for herself if that was the case.

Stepping into the Melemele Meadow, Eline found the flower field far more crowded than she'd thought it be. Normally, the islands weren't entirely to busy outside the major cities. Moving into the meadow of flowers, Eline started her collecting of nectar. It'd take some time without a cutifly to aid her, but it wouldn't take her long either. Adder watched the group, before looking over to see that Cosmog1 seemed to actually be getting tired. He sighed but wrapped his arms around the light ball of whatever-it-was and figured he'd carry it. The other had started exploring already, of course.

Cling shifted a bit when the Cosmog was enveloped into Adder's arms. He shifted, a little uncertain about the proximity, but simply slithered along to free up his head and gaze at it. The puff ball had closed its eyes, its little puff hands gently moving up and down as it slept. Adder was looking around, trying to help some as his pokemon search for the egg. He only had.... five more or so, and he could finally relax and focus on other things. He couldn't wait to see all the prizes he could get after, too...
