Nate acted on instinct, he pushed Takuto back and pulled the curtain across separating him and the kid from the scene. The child on the bed had woken up, his eyes wide as flames erupted out of his mouth and nose cutting ogg his ability to scream or even breath. The bed he was lying on was beginning to combust and Nate was starting to feel his clothes beginning to kindle. Nate took out his gun and readied himself to end the kids misery, the was a moment where it almost seemed like the kid nodded. Nate fired a single shot and stepped backwards, holstering his pistol as he did. The fire hadn't stopped, the inferno seemed to only burn brighter but the kid was no more. Nate stepped out from behind the curtain and looked at Takuto. "We need to get out of here. Fast." He hadn't even finished speaking when the shutters began descending on the escape routes. "Hello, friends, you have been quite naughty. Even went as far as to kill my brother, he was three days away from retirement." There was a brief pause presumable the guy he was laughing at his own joke because a moment later he was back on. "I'm good, I'm good. Sorry, you did me a favour, I think I'm going to get his resistance implanted into me, you seemed to have trouble against it Mr Little." Nate had walked over to the shutters and was trying his damnedest to get them open. "Yeah? That's only because I was trying to keep him alive." He waited a moment, he was hoping that the speakers would be able to pick up his voice, else they were stuck in a room with a rambling man man. "That so? Then perhaps I should take your powers instead? Or your's Mr. Ishikawa, yes we know about you as well, the organisation is quite resourceful." Nate glance over at Takuto, Nate wasn't a talker so if anyone was going to get any answers out of this nut then it was going to be him.

(OOC: I was going to throw in the name of the organisation after you kept him busy but not any more, I guess.)

"Who are you people and why are you doing this?" But the static was too loud and it drowned out the voice, Nate wasnt sure if he had actually said anything or if he was already gone. "Next time, don't mess about answering their questions." He paused, and winked at him, realising he had done the same and couldn't really hold it against him. "If your sure." He was convinced it was necessary to shoot the camera's and would have preferred to have save the bullets for someone rather than some thing but gave Takuto the benefit of the doubt. He wandered away from the group as not to deafen them and took out the cameras with ease. He returned to see the kids being ushered into the vents and Takuto nowhere to be seen, presumably he had taken the lead, which was probably for the better because he would have a better chance of opening the vent on the other side than some kid. Nate moved to the kid in the wheelchair and poked him, he looked like he was about to wake up when his head lolled forwards and it looked like he had fallen into a deeper sleep. With no other choice he picked the kid, slung him over his shoulder and walked over to the air vent, luckily it was big enough for them both to fit or he's have a whole different problem on his hands. "That's everyone. Don't lead us to the furnace." He laughed to himself as he crawled after them, giving the kids in front of him a push if they seemed to be slowing.

(OOC: We'll just sort it out later, it'll be fine.)

Nate was the last out, he wasn't really sure what the hold up was but it gave him plenty of time to do a few push ups. Usually he wouldn't have bothered in the middle of a mission like this but there was something about the speed at which the kids were filing out that he knew he had plenty of time. "Kid, what's the hold up?" There was a stir from up ahead and then the person directly in front of him turned back, "I have a name... But it seems like theres some guards and stumpy fell over again." Nate sighed, he should have gone first after all. Ah well, there was nothing they could have done about it and honestly he would have probably lead them through the boiler to death. It was slow going and twice he found himself reaching for a cigarette before remembering he was out. Finally it was his turn to get out of the vent and he did so with the greatest amount of glee he could muster. "So good to breath fresh air again." He wasn't being stealthy, in fact he was stood in the open almost taunting the guards. "Wait here, I'll deal with this. I've always wanted to try mixing wrestling with my powers." He fired his remaining shot into the knee of the first guard as he approached, jumped and burst forward making a fist as he flew, the punch connected and blew the man's face gear clean off as well as the part of his face that has come into contact with it. A second guard who had heard the shot came running and it was then when Nate punched him, grabbed his arms and picked him up, sure the man was heavy but Nate could handle it. For a second the two of them stood there when suddenly Nate fell and burst backwards, slamming the man through two crates and a barrel. Nate stood up to a round of applause from the kids. "Alright, everyone in a van." He said after taking a little bow.

Nate smiled his thanks but was already halfway though hot wiring the car when Takuto passed him the keys, he would have probably tried the keys but just as they landed on his lap the engine sprung to life. "Thanks, but I've got it." He shrugged, and placed the keys in the cup holder. "Hold on back there, this might be bumpy." He was about to release the hand brake when he spotted something. "I don't think we're going to need to worry about blowing the place." He pointed at the mirror to the door entering the main area, there was a sign that was flashing with warning symbols and a clock counting down. "Could be wrong but I think they want rid of this place as much as I do." He released the hand break and started building up speed, he turned away from the exit shutter as he approached and started making his way around the garage again. It was quite a big space, littered with a few other vehicles. "We need to be going faster or the van'll never make it through the door." He passed the entrance again, he was faster but not fast enough, the clock on the wall was still ticking down. He swung around a stationary car, lining himself up with the entrance, changing gears as he drove the stretch and tore a hole straight through the shutter. Seconds later the whole building exploded. Nate kept driving, up a ramp, across a busy street before finally pulling over a couple blocks over. "Cut that one close didn't I? What say we take these kids to SIA? I think they deal with this kind of thing." He certainly didn't want to look after twenty kids for any longer than he needed to.

(OOC: You've got your hands in a few more pots than I do, do you think its worth posting in SIA? I left my post open so we can drop them off and go back to the apartment and just make note of it then.)

"Ah if only I had two extra hands." He sighed, and looked to the middle distance, the mere mention of a cigarette was enough to start his cravings off. He tapped the steering wheel and breathed deeply until it passed then turned to Takuto. "None? Don't you want the other parents to have to look twice when the meet you. I'll get a side job as a florist or a nurse, really throw some ambiguity into the mix." He laughed and shook his head, and glanced back at the kids. "That and I don't really want to be driving around with a bunch of kids who look like they are about to keel over at any second." He pointed into the van and mouthed That one had wires coming out of his brain, that's not normal. Not at all. He clearly didn't want the kids hearing his thoughts on the kid they had pulled out of the hospital bed. "Alright here's what we'll do, we'll drop you off with the police and then you can go back home to your mom's." He looked at Takuto again. "We'll drop them off and then you can do a little rooting around in their files to see what they know. Is there any way that you can find out if any other parties would be looking at the same information? I imagine a group like that must have insiders and if they do then that's the place for us to start." He set off again, but instead of racing away he simply merged into traffic and began driving normally.
