Edie had been thinking about having kids of his own for some time now. He had always loved children, but been nervous to be around them. They were always curious about his eye patch and he didn't really like telling the story about it. However, he was in a home filled to the brim with Children at this point and he couldn't avoid interacting with them and learning to love them even more. So, he caved. He had to have his own, and with blessings form his roommates it was going to happen.
Why October? Well he couldn't really wait any longer honestly. He just wanted to see their precious little faces. With his roommates by his side, and countless other children, he gently touched the two stones in front of them all. "Time to wake up little ones." The smile on his face was gentle, but it was likely no one had ever seen him quite this excited and happy before.

Awakening RP: Nausicaa bent down, kneeling before her stones. Evan had gone out to pick up Caliper and -- reluctantly -- his girlfriend Wednesday. Nausi had noticed the stones were glowing, and, much to her delight, she thought it would be the most perfect surprise for the family to come home to their newest additions awake and well. It hadn't dawned on Nausi that it was October still ...
Nausicaa reached out, eagerly touched the stones.
"Wake up, my sweets~"

Awakening RP: Vaeryn was a junior now. So many years had passed since Ember had last had a child ... had last loved. And now, here she was, having been crazy enough to imbue, having been crazy enough to fall for someone else.
Fear gripped her, and yet ... there was some small hope bubbling inside her. Would this new child change her world? Would her new love?
With a deep breath in, Ember reached out and touched her stone.

More children. Was Aten crazy? His love for his family was unquestioned, and they had recently moved in to a much bigger, much nicer home. They had the space now ... and these children were waiting to spring to life.
Yes, now was the time. Aten gently curled his tail around his stones to wake them. He hadn't realize it wasn't quite past the cursed time ...

... This was it. Roxy's first child. It seemed so odd to have a child when Roxy felt so much like one herself.
When she had offered to imbue with Nyria earlier in the year, Roxy had no way of knowing she would fall for the Naga. Or that she'd be playing a much larger part in that family ... but, Roxy was ready. She was ready to have a family all her own.
Roxy scooped the stone in to her arms and hugged it tight, kissing it tenderly.
"Time to wake up and join the world. Let's rock out together sometime, ok? I can teach you some mad drum skills."

Nyria smiled gently and pulled the stone close. She was so happy to be having children with Roxy, everything had gone so much better than she thought it would! She couldn't believe everything that had happened and that they'd be a family now. She picked up Remi's stone, smiling gently as she cooed at the little one. "It's time to come out, Remi." She gently touched it, ready to see her children.

Awakening RP: Tamandani held her stone carefully. It was her first one and she was nervous. Part of her still couldn't believe how lucky she'd been to find Ember, and now they were adding to their family in a big way. She traced her fingers over the stone and laid a kiss to one of the faceted edges. "Come out, little Cinnabar, your family is anxious to meet you," she murmured.

Awakening RP: It happened! It finally happened! And with Roxie no less!
Valtrois had been careful with the stones so far, keeping them together as much as possible, and making sure to not wake them too early!
But, as fate would have it...
"Oops!!" She exclaimed as she had to grab the red-tinged stone to keep it from being knocked off of the little nest she'd made for them! "I'm sorry!" she exclaimed, and without thinking, kissed the little stone.
"...Oh. I guess that's a sign you wanted to come out, huh? It's okay, I'll get Roxie to wake your sibling up!"

Awakening RP: Aloe was bouncing on her feet and not really thinking about what she was doing, she meant to awake the stones in Nov but then she was cleaning the kitchen and touched the two stones. "Opps" Then she looked at the infants and fell in love with them. "Aww you two are perfect."

It was a whirlwind. From feelings, to confession, to romance, and now to stones.
Each day brought new anxiety. What if He found out? what if He didn't approve? Rei hadn't asked Him if it would be okay if she imbued with someone He didn't approve of...The youngest of His first generation of children, she figured that He had something special in mind.
If He found the stones...
Shaking her head, Rei balled up her hands into fists. He wouldn't find stones, He would find children. And He, knowing how He was, would accept them.
As her fingers brushed against the stones and whispered for her firstborns to enter the world, she could only hope that she was right about Him, and that Syth would help her protect them. No matter what.

Cassie stroked her fingers over the jagged edge of the stone. They had so many little feet in their household, but she was so eager to see what cute face would greet her. Even though they were not hers by magic, they were Smolder and Aten's, and both meant the world to her. She was happy they included her even if this wasn't her breeding, and was a soft sigh she pressed a little harder, asking her magic to come to the surface. "Please awaken little one, your siblings have been around for days," she cooed softly.
She wasn't sure why she had gotten cold feet about this - letting Smolder and Aten awaken the other two but not the third, but the breather had helped. Taking care of three infants at once was trying last time. She smiled, prepared for their new addition to face the world.

Hatori had not wanted their stone, they made this clear at the beginning. Since that was agreed upon, it had ended up at one of the many cache donation sites- which Hatori thought was a safe place to leave it. These people were professionals, weren't they?
Apparently not professional enough to remember that it was still a cursed month for a few hours. The caretaker in question did not think very much before reciting the awakening spell. By the time someone had realized what they were about to do- it was too late. The infant was already emerged... Mutated, but alive.

11:59. It was 11:59PM when the spell completed- the caretaker in question was certain it would've taken the entire minute! Not seconds!! Oh, they were going to get fired for this... At least the infant had survived...

Atrophi had only imbued to have the ~*~experience~*~ of having done it. They didn't care what time of year it was, or even what would happen to the stone afterward. In fact, once they were able to move around again they literally left theirs in an alleyway on the way back to their current crashpad.
Perhaps unfortunately for the stone, it was eventually picked up and awakened by some unsuspecting person- someone who figured they'd just "try the spell" to see if anything would happen (after all, they couldn't tell it was imbued...). They at least had the presence of mind to leave the infant on the doorsteps of a local orphanage before disappearing. Like they had any intention of raising a mutant.
