"There's no need to apologize, it wasn't your fault. I couldn't just stand by and watch her torture you like that without doing anything. You're a really nice guy, and you don't deserve any of that." Lucas replied with a warm smile, trying his best to reassure the other guy that he hadn't done anything wrong. "It takes a lot of courage to stand up to someone like that crazy redhead." He said with a slight laugh at how excited the werewolf got at his offer for friendship. He really was like an adorable little puppy sometimes. Lucas gave his new friend a gentle pat on the shoulder before he was suddenly pulled away by Addison. He didn't hesitate when following her, wherever she led him. "Well...I'm not sure exactly. It kind of just hurts everywhere."

Meanwhile, Veronica was preoccupying her self with tormenting any unlucky student that passed her way, trying to bide her time until she could go mess with the Mutt some more, as well as trying to keep herself entertained. She made sure to keep an eye on the three of them the whole time though, and as soon as she noticed that Lucas and Addison had left, meaning the pup was all alone, she decided to make her move. Ronnie pushed aside her latest victim, and started to make her way inside, keeping a close eye on Brixos and stealthily following him wherever he went, until he finally found a place to sit and started to do some writing. The redhead walked right up behind him, and leaned over his shoulder, with her arms on either side of him, holding her up as she leaned forward. "Watcha writing there, Mutt?" She whispered in his ear. She had made sure not to make any noise while approaching him in the hopes of startling him with her sudden appearance out of nowhere. While she waited for a reply, her eyes scanned over his work. When she realized it was more school work, she snickered. "You really are quite dedicated to your work, aren't you?"

Veronica pouted slightly, he hadn't been startled liked she hoped he would have. He didn't even flinch, how boring. He must have known she was coming somehow, possibly by her scent. Whatever it was, it mean that all her effort in being quiet was for nothing. It had sort of become like a game to her, trying to get whatever reaction out of him she could, but for some reason, it wasn't working this morning. He was as calm and polite as ever. Ronnie sighed heavily and slumped down into the chair next to him. She had her arms crossed over in her lap, and her forehead planted against the table. She would turn her red eyes to the side to watch him as he wrote. "You're not making this any fun, Mutt." She whined, sounding like a little child who just been denied a toy or treat. Her mood soon perked up again when he mentioned the deal they made the previous day however.

The redhead sat up straight in her seat once again, a bright smile on her face. "That's right! I almost forgot about that, thanks for reminding me." She replied with a nod. "Let's see, what should I have you do first?" She pondered out loud while tapping her fingers against the table top. There were an almost endless amount of possibilities for what she could make him do, but none of them seemed to really interest her as much as she thought they would. Honestly, the thought of him going along with everything she said sounded quite boring. She liked it better when he resisted, when he actually gave her a challenge. Otherwise it would just be as if she had brought one of the human servants from home to school with her. As time went on her smile began to droop into a frown, and her brow furrowed slightly. "Ugh! What is wrong with me today!?" Veronica exclaimed loudly, drawing the attention of the other students around them.

Veronica hadn't liked the idea of punching him in the face, and had simply shrugged it off when he suggested it. Well, it wasn't that she didn't like the idea, it was more that she didn't have a real reason to, and despite the fact that she was a bully, she didn't like getting violent for no good reason. She preferred messing with people's heads, and manipulating them into doing her bidding. If she could embarrass them in the process, then that was a nice bonus. Although she had felt like hurting him a little when she had heard him chuckling at her, but was still more focused on coming up with an idea for something he could do to really amuse and entertain her. Everything that Brixos tried to do or suggest didn't help either. If anything it only confused her even more. She had no idea why he would actually want her to bully him.

She was about to question it, when all of a sudden she felt herself being picked up, by none other than Brixos. "What are you doing?" Ronnie asked while eyeing him cautiously as he placed her on his back while getting down on his hands and knees. That's when she finally got what it was he was doing. He was going to let her ride him, on his back wherever she wanted him to go. Even though he was the one who had come up with the idea, and was being so co-operative, this did actually cheer her up a lot. Especially when she heard him refer to himself as a Mutt. A small smile crept up onto her face, and it only grew wider when she heard the other students laughing at him. She could tell he was embarrassed, and that always amused her. "To the library. I need to pick up some books to study for my assignment in mythology class." She announced, while pointing in the general direction of the place she wanted to go, while with the other hand she ruffled his hair a little. It was almost like her way of saying thank you, although she wasn't completely aware that she had even done it.

Veronica was very much enjoying herself, as was clearly shown by the big smile on her face and the way she was laughing as he crawled along carrying her to the library. Whenever teachers came by and asked what was happening, probably hoping that this would finally be the opportunity they needed to get the redhead expelled, she chuckled in amusement at their faces when the Mutt explained this something he wanted to do. She knew full well that unless he spoke against it there was nothing they could do about it, and she enjoyed seeing the disappointed looks on their faces. The only thing that could potentially spoil her mood was the way the rest of the students began to chant the word Mutt over and over again while following them all the way to the library. Mutt was her nickname for him, and if everyone else started using it, it would take the fun out of it for her. She thought she could ignore it, but the chanting only seemed to get louder.

Ronnie sighed heavily as she slipped off of his back and stood to her feet again before reaching down and pulling him up to his feet as well. Then she turned and punched the wall. Not hard enough that she would cause any damage, but just enough to create a loud bang that immediately got everyone's attention. All of the students fell silent and watched and waited to see what she would do. At that point they had no idea why she was angry. "That's enough! I'm the only one that calls him Mutt! Is that clear!?" She growled at them all while glaring menacingly at them. Nobody said anything but it was clear by their expressions and the way they all hurried off that they got her point. "Well now that that's sorted. Come along Mutt, I need you to carry my books." She stated while turning and grabbing the end of his tie so she could pull him along behind her as she entered the library.

Veronica was making a beeline for the reception desk at the library so she could ask about the books she was looking for, but hearing what Brixos said about their parents having dinner together at her house made her stop suddenly. "What?" This was her first time hearing about this. How could her parents not tell her? She couldn't have the Mutt over at her house for dinner. That would mean she would actually have to behave and be nice to him to please her parents. "Why would your parents want to meet my parents?" She asked, in a deep, threatening tone, while turning to face him as she pulled him closer, crumpling up his tie slightly. The only conclusion she could come to as to why his parents would want to talk to hers is if Brixos had gone and blabbed to them about how she had been treating him at school. If her parents found out about that they would be furious, and she would be in a lot of trouble.

While she waited for an answer, she took the werewolf by the wrist and roughly pulled him along to an aisle near the back of the library, where no one could see them. Then she pushed him back against one of the bookshelves, and held him there by the scruff of his shirt. The reason that she didn't want anyone to see them is because of what she might end up doing to him if it turned out he had told his parents. In which case, he was going to be in for a world of hurt.

"Do you have any idea what you've done!?" Veronica hissed at him after hearing his answer. She let go of his shirt and began pacing back and forth, trying to figure out what she was going to do. Saying she was furious would be a huge understatement. There was no telling what her parents would do to her when they found out. They'd probably have her pulled out of this school and enroll her in some strict boarding school boot-camp or something. There was no way she could let that happen, she had to come up with some way to stop that dinner from happening. But first, and more importantly, she had to make the Mutt pay for what he had done.

Ronnie stopped her pacing and turned back to face Brixos. Her eyes had changed from their usual soft ember color to a bright blood red, showing just how angry she really was. "You are one very dead Mutt.
She growled as she rushed toward him, moving so fast her movements were nothing more than a blur. As she stopped right in front of him, she grabbed him by the shoulders to pull him down so she could slam her knee into his gut. Then she pushed him right down to the ground, so he was on his back and she was sitting astride him. She raised one fist in the air, preparing to punch him in the face, but instead she stopped just inches before her fist connected. What was she thinking? She couldn't afford to leave any marks on him, that would only get her into even more trouble, and she didn't want that. If she wanted to beat him up then she would have to wait until such a time where she could do it without any consequences, and the perfect opportunity for that would be during their fight in the tournament. Should they actually get to fight of course.

Veronica relaxed and shifted off of him before getting up to her feet again. She was about to question about what he had said, so she could know what her parents knew but before she could even begin to say anything he ran off. She was In no mood to to go and chase him down, especially as that would make her late to class. She was also annoyed that she hadn't been able to look for the books she needed and that only added to her anger for him. She really couldn't wait until p.e where she might finally get the chance to punish him. That would have to wait though, as she had schoolwork to focus on, she couldn't afford to let her grades drop.

The morning of classes went by pretty fast, she had tried to keep an eye out for Brixos but couldn't find him anywhere evn in the classes they shared. Before she knew it though, it was lunch time. Ronnie started patrolling the school to try and find the Mutt. Even if she couldn't hrt him physically, she could still torment him. After looking in all the highly populated areas of the school, she started searching through the more secluded areasy. She wasn't going to stop until she found him.

Veronica sighed in relief when she finally spotted him, she was bored and tired of walking all over the school. When she saw him curl up into a little ball, attempting to hide while whimpering and pleading for her to leave him alone she chuckled deviously. The poor pup already looked to be broken and it had barely taken two days, that was a new record. Ronnie grinned and made her way over to kneel down beside him. "But I don't want to leave you alone, Mutt. I quite enjoy our time together." She replied, speaking in a soft sweet tone as she cupped his chin with her hand and brought his face up so he was looking at her. That was true in more ways than one. His kind, naive nature reminded her a lot of her younger self, before she had snapped from the pressure and turned into the "monster" she was now.

Ronnie had realized that trying to intimidate the information out of him wouldn't work. It would only make him nervous and scared like he was back in the library. If she wanted a clear, understandable answer, then she was going to have to try a different approach and see if she could coax it out of him instead. "I just want to know what you told your parents. " She stated, keeping up with the soft sweet tone in her voice.
