"I hope the sky doesn't fall on us after all." The talk back at Panili's place still had the jadeblood incredibly nervous on this fine Alternian night as the Civisect Team set to work constructing their masterpiece. He focused on holding some units in place as he talked with his friend in hopes of calming himself down. He wasn't incredibly intellectual or coordinated in terms of building things so playing a support role like fetching materials or holding something steady was the perfect kind of task for him.
"I guess at least I can face whatever it is with you, Cleo. At least I'll go with a latte! What more can I ask for?" Amonee laughed a little at the thought but it was sincere. "Yeah that sounded really bad." Nucleo rubbed his neck uncomfortably as Amonee shuddered at the memory of Panili's speech. The greenblood still didn't know what to think, especially after all of the tension that had immediately followed. He hadn't met everyone before and it'd been an awkward way of first impressions. He hoped that somehow everyone would manage to work together though. They needed to do all they could to avert her vision from happening. There was so much to protect.
"I'm happy to be with you too. It's a shame we're the only ones though." The barista laughed. Everyone else had volunteered to go check Chittentown. Well, he supposed that slinky blueblood hadn't but he wasn't sure where she was. It was possible she had gone home. "It means we'll have to work extra hard I suppose." Amonee nodded in response to his friend's concern. Panili's supporters had mostly gone to the other side but hopefully he and Nucleo could pull their weight over here. Could they stop whatever doom and destruction was headed their way? The thought was incredibly scary but he had to try. If only Xavier was here with him! But at the same time, the painter preferred him tucked away safely from the potential horror.
He noticed a worker drone moving slowly from one side of the place to the other and the boy opted to give the thing a helpful gentle push. He had to be careful not to do anything to damage their workers after all. It seemed like research was progressing smoothly so they needed to step up their game putting in the elbow grease. And he would do his share of it for sure!
"I'm a little scared though, I saw a girl that I met at Bloodfest. She was so mad at me!" It was hard to miss Austri's loud voice and proud antics. Nrgh, it made him feel small to think of her noticing him and marching over to 'get even' for their failure to take gold in the bobcurling event. "What girl?" Amonee hadn't mentioned anything about this! Or had he? With his clone memory problems, Nucleo was never quite sure. Hopefully now that his friend knew about the problem he didn't mind repeating himself anymore. It was embarrassing but what could he do?
"What did you do to her?" The greenblood laughed. It was possible the jadeblood had pissed someone off because he was so apologetic and passive. That really bugged some trolls. Or it could be because he was so pretty. That pissed some off even more.

"She was a greenblood. Very strong and athletic. And so loud!" In a way, it was kind of cute but... also terrifying to be on the bad side of a troll like that. "We did bobcurling together and I just... messed it up." Amonee looked sheepish and his shoulders sagged a little. It was embarrassing to remember and he tried not to think about it.
He felt kind of bad for Nucleo, holding that beam up for a long time, and decided to move to help him carry the load. Something flickered in his vision and caught his attention. Amonee frowned, reaching to grab at it.

"Bobcurling? Aha..." Nucleo flushed at the word, remembering how he'd been pressured into the event against his will. He, on the other hand, had opted to not show up and avoid the experience altogether. Maybe that had been the smart choice, based on Amonee's story. The greenblood did wonder if Kursha had managed to find another partner on short notice. Then again, did he want him to have? He was still unsure on how to feel about the gunner. He was dangerous.

"Excuse me, could you help move these to Facility 3?" Amonee snagged a passing by worker drone and sheepishly asked for help. It wasn't like he was incredibly weak, the boy had a decent amount of stamina, but he was pretty tired after all this work and couldn't handle transporting all of this on his own. It couldn't go to waste though, he had to make sure Civisect was well equipped to face the oncoming disaster foretold by Panili.
"I hope she's doing okay, that Panili..." He mumbled to himself. It couldn't be easy, seeing those terrible visions over and over with increasing clarity. It had to take a mental and emotional toll on the orangeblood. Once things wrapped up with this crisis, he'd be sure to check on her. She was such a sweet girl, she deserved a nice stress-free life!

"Oh right! That's a thing!" Nucleo clapped his hands together and turned to the drone as well. He borrowed a pen to fill out a transfer order and scribbled down what he hoped were reasonable amounts to transfer. He was still getting the hang of how to do all of this official paperwork. His coffee business had lots of paperwork associated with it for official taxes and such too but it was simpler because he didn't need to communicate too much with dividing his resources up. This would be an interesting experience and hopefully teach him more about bureaucratic things!
"Mm, we'll have to go check in soon." Nucleo muttered, catching Panili's name once the drone left. He didn't feel like they'd gathered much intel yet but it was only a matter of time! They would figure this out and help her!

… It seemed that there were already raids in action, and Psykgi wanted in but first she had to follow her role as the “Supportive Redblood” - a role that was generally fun to play, even if it wasn't always genuine – and support a Civisect facility that needed a little something. Apparently some Civisect louts had decided to throw an apparent party in the second facility, and there had to be some damage control...
The kind of psychological damage control that Psykgi wanted to master. So, what better way to practice? Obviously, she couldn't analyze and treat the mental health of everyone at the facility, but she did get access to a com connected to the facility and chirped out something inspiring... including a few nasty little statistics about Chittentown.
That done, she decided to move to Facility 1 – Chiara or not, she wanted to do a little bit of raiding, just to see it done and get some exercise.
