Bibiana snickered a little and let Ghester carry her for a bit. It was nice, but she knew she wasn't exactly light and she didn't want him to tire out too quickly. Who knew how long this hike was! She was just about to tell him he could let her down when she heard it. That buzz. And not the cute, friendly buzzing of fluffbugs or crocobees. This was that freaky, chill-inducing, sting-impending buzz.
She yelped, her entire body tensing as she buried her face in Ghester's shoulder, eyes squeezed tightly shut. She was still careful not to choke him but she held on tighter than before. "Don't like bees," she mumbled against his fluff.

Nashira held out the camera and aimed it at the two of them. When Nadinia stopped fussing with her hair, Nashira snapped a picture. "...I am enjoying this so far. It is a lot more work then I was expecting, but I am not shy about working hard. I think I can handle anything that comes my way." She hadn't heard the buzzing at first. It wasn't until others started fleeing that she saw the bees. "OH!" She barely managed to get the sound out before something stung her shoulder. It seemed the bees were attracted to the orange scarf she wore on her head. There was an uncharacteristic terrified shriek from the geist/litch at the stinging and the pain it brought. "Nadinia! Run!" Maybe the dryad shouldn't be near her?

The longer he hiked the more tired he grew, which was predictable enough, but with the exhaustion came a sense of accomplishment he'd never felt back at school. Thian found himself smiling as he walked.
Then came the bees.
"What is this... crap?" he muttered, darting into a nearby bush to avoid the angry insects.

Bees?! Bees could be either very good or very very bad. She could hear the buzzing, and certainly she could see them, but she was determined not to panic. As long as the bees weren't too agitated, they wouldn't hurt her or anyone else. She would just stay calm and she covered her flower with a hand. The occasional bee was fine to check it out, but she didn't want a whole swarm trying to investigate.

Samhain had to take deep breathes to keep his anger from spiking. He was or at least had to been having fun on this trip. It probably should have been a sign that things were going to turn south, but how someone could be so damn careless to knock over a beehive. While most everyone had been able to avoid the rocks from that cliff, he had already noticed that people were getting stung, and beestings could be fatal. What if someone was allergic? They were out of the middle of nowhere practically and there didn’t seem to be any doctors or anyone that knew healing spells. When he noticed that Nashira had gotten stung the world went black causing him to panic before he wrestled back control from Salem. It wouldn’t do to flip over control to his other half, not yet. Reaching down into his pack he pulled out his first aid kit before walking over.

It seemed like a good number of hikers had managed to avoid the rocks that had fallen before. Still, there were some slightly injured individuals and she was sad to see them hurt. No one was so bad off that they couldn't continue on though, which had to be a good sign. Those Nixie ears were awfully good as well, since Mahuyah had managed to avoid injury as well.
"That definitely startled me. But otherwise I'm just fine." She took her camera out then and took a rather dramatic selfie to remember the landslide, the first bit of danger they encountered on this trip, and surely not the last. She also took a quick candid of Mahuyah before they all continued on. She kept her camera out then to take pictures of the scenery around them, as well as photos with fellow adventurers.
It was another couple of hours before something else happened. Someone must have knocked over a Bees nest as the nightmares and daydreams around her started to scatter. This time she was aware enough to grab a hold of Mahuyah's hand. "Let's go this way!" She let them in a wide circle around what appeared to be the center of the fray. Oooo, she felt bad for those she saw getting chased or stung by bees. That had to hurt.
Once they were far enough away she slowed down and tried to regroup with some of the others. "You okay Mahuyah? One didn't chance us right?" She was looking over her own fur to make sure nothing unfriendly had gotten caught up in it.

Mahuyah was breathing heavily, the adrenaline still causing her heart to pound and her body to feel jittery. That rock fall was terrifying, but thankfully it looked like almost all had avoided injury, and those who were didn't have a serious injury. That was amazingly lucky, considering how dangerous that had been.
The hike continued, and though it was hard, she found herself really enjoying the activity. It was incredibly bright out in the above, and there was so much there to see. She was glad Patches was taking pictures, and disappointed that she hadn't thought to bring her own camera. She'd need to bother her friend for copies of the pictures.
After a few blissfully calm hours, she heard the disturbance in the group, and before she could process what the cause was, Patches was pulling her off in a side direction. it wasn't until they were safely distanced that she finally realized what they had been skirting around: someone had disturbed an entire nest of very angry bees. "No, no, I'm ok. I don't think they followed us. What about everyone else?" She was looking around, worried. Did they have the first aid needed to take care of bee stings?

Hiking sucked. Callixtus sighed as he made his way along with the group. The only thing that distracted him from just how sore he was from all the physical activities from the day before. Unfortunately, that meant he also was distracted from other things. He didn't notice the swarm of bees until they were on the group. He yelped in pain swatting at the bees as he ran as fast as his legs could carry him.
The universe was actively trying to kill him. He knew it was only a matter of time, in all honestly, but that didn't mean he still couldn't be surprised and horrified when it actually happened. He sting felt more painful than the last. The minutes it took to get away from the swarm felt like years. His breath came in soft gasps and as he plopped down on the ground.
"... I should have just stayed home." He moaned. Everything hurt. "This suuuuuucks."

Azure was feeling hot, the weather wasn't being too kind to him as he removed his sweater. He flapped his wings lightly as a cool breezed brushed up against his body from his wings helping to keep himself cool as he followed behind everyone, He heard someone yelling about bees as he was not bothered by them at all. he was confused but trudged on down the path while trying to stay cool. he watched some get hurt and others escape the bees attack, he was fortunate to also not be noticed by the bees. But he finally made it past the bee flooded area and continued on.

Having just recovered, Bebe was not prepared for the screams and cries of 'bees'. She liked bees aesthetically, but near her beautiful fur was not preferable; once one had gotten caught in the fur of her neck ruff and that did not make for a fun hour. Running like the pampered neko had never run before, she made it past what she deemed the 'danger zone', pausing once more to bend over and catch her breath."What kind of death trap is this place?"she murmured, deciding now that she should look for a familiar face. Strength in numbers, right? Looking around, she spotted Callixtus, but he didn't look exactly right. Realising after a moment what had happened, she raced over to him and threw her arm around his shoulder in comfort."Oh no, Cal, are you alright? Ohhh you're stung all over, should I get Claire?"she winced as she examined his injuries, biting her lip as she started to panic over what to do with her hurt friend.

A faint buzzing caught the Dryad's ears, and she immediately recognized it. Bees. As a Dryad, she had a certain line of defense against them, most seemed to think she was more of plant life, and less of something to sting. Not that she wanted to tempt fate.
She jogged ahead, following a near stampede of other, but turned and yelled back to Nashira, who seemed to be having much more of bee issue. "Try not to crush any! Just brush them off and run! If they smell crushed bees on you, they'll just go after you more!"
She felt awful for the other girl. They'd been right together! It wasn't fair the bees had gone after her while ignoring Nadinia. Her lower lip quivered a bit, and she felt the familiar lump forming in her throat. Half holding her breath, she stopped and watched the group that had run amuck with the bees. She hoped they'd all be okay.

When they were clear of the bees, Nashira was ready to collapse. She didn't usually run, that was not her forte, but it had been necessary to avoid getting stung even more then she had. She was bent over, trying to catch her breath when she heard Nadinia's voice again. She looked up at the girl, her head scarf covering half her face. It might have been a good thing since the hybrid wanted to cry.
"Did... you escape unharmed?" She asked softly, trying to collect herself. Maybe someone had a first aid kit? She stood up, though her knees wobbled a little, and she spotted Bebe and Callixtus. The way they looked made Nashira thing she wasn't the only casualty. "Look." She pointed to the pair of them so Nadinia would see them as well. "M... maybe we could sit down a moment... near them." She was still feeling rather... terrified and wanted to collect herself and be near her friends.
