A super-pretty rock she found; It looks like a kitty's face! Short IC Response: She'd stumbled upon the hill a few times now, seen others come and go. Some, a while later, suddenly found themselves with...company. Ozzie hadn't put two and two together until recently, when they started flocking to the hill again. This time, she was prepared. With the small, precious rock firmly between her teeth, she made her way up the hill, careful to wait until anyone else there was finished. Some cast her glances, others were in much too much of a hurry to even notice where they were walking. Some, even, stopped to wish her luck. Finally at the altar, Ozzie placed her precious rock down next to the other offerings. Some were grand, some were simple, and hers was eaily lost among them. Still, she puffed out her chest, and stared skywards towards the star. "We...We are lonely." She began. "We know our family is there...We love our only kitty and papa..." Pausing, she thought again. What was it she wanted? "...We want...someone to come with us. To go with us places. We...We want to be free. With someone who will stay with us...We don't want to be lonely, anymore!" All but yelling at the star now, she waited. And waited. And waited. She would wait, moving only to allow those who also wanted to speak to the star to place their offerings and make their plea. Ozzie would wait.

A hunk of an ice, taken from his mountaintop home Short IC Response: "I," Silhouette starts, licking his lips and unsure what to say. He has never been very loquacious--his mother often spoke enough for him and Shiranai both. "I like to take care of others. My mother, my sister, the other members of the herd. I worry about them when I can't see them and I'm just lucky that Shiranai tends to stay close and that Mother often travels with friends. But I guess...I guess it might be nice to have a little help." Silhouette reaches back to dig around into his pack, carefully pulling out a small, hunk of ice that had been carefully wrapped in cloth. It was much smaller than it had been when he left the mountain but that was to be expected. He placed it gently at the alter, nudging it out of its cloth with his nose. "I know it isn't much but I thought it would be nice. Something different." A small, quiet sort of smile crossed his face as he looked up and the sky and the twinkling star.

Nuzzling the pipe on his foreleg, he let out a sigh and then from that pipe pried a feather from it. It was no ordinary feather, but one from his old familiar. He desperately missed the old bird, the death of the avian would haunt him forever, but it was the memory of his friend that kept him going, even in dark times. His new familiar, a young wolf pup: Ulfred, now stood just behind him as Os looked up to the Wishing Star and began to wish as hard as he could. Short IC Response: "I... I want a friend. A real one. Someone that will teach me things and not snap at my heels when I wander off." He grinned back at Ulfred before continuing. "I need someone to look out for and to look out for me. Someone to take care of. I'll take them in whatever form they come in, big or small, anything really. Just, give me someone to really, really love." He stepped away, ready to depart when Ulfred ran up, left a tuft of his fur by Os' offering and added. "He really needs this. Thanks." Before the two left together.

She loved waking up next to her and couldn't wait to end the day snuggled next to her. Truly loving her and being loved back by such a amazing woman was the greatest treasure in the world. A Loyal Companion Who is Wishing?:  Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: She doesn't like her name too much. Her mama made it too stuffy-sounding, so she named herself Pearl instead! Pearl is much more bouncy and fun! A lover of literally everything, Pearl has a big heart and wants tons of friends to fill it with. Unfortunately, her methods can be a little unorthodox because when she finds a friend, the first thing she does is hug them! And then drag them into the depths of the ocean blue to show them her home and all her underwater friends. Seashells! Lots of them! She leaves out mussel and clam shells, the one that looks like a unicorn horn, the one that Soq say if you listen through it you can hear the ocean. ( "But since I'm near the ocean all the time, I don't need a shell to listen to it, so you can have it!") Oh, and a pearl of course! The prettiest one she could find, so the star knew for sure who was wishing on it. Short IC Response: Pearl had managed to wiggle out onto the beach to put her shells just out of the way of the high tide line. It was awkward, what with her shell in the way, but she was determined to get her wish. A friend that would never ever ever leave, that's what she needed! She looked up at the star every time she came to shore and added another thing to her pile. Rather than talking to it though, she just added more stuff. Seashell after seashell. When she was finally through, a small pile rested on the shore with a circle drawn into the sand and a star marking next to it, so Soquili along the shore would know not to take it, since it was an offering for the Wishing Star. Before she left, she added, "Pretty please and pretty goodnight." And then swam off with hopes rising high in her chest.

This particular bag was of course her favorite she carried with her in hopes of finding the most exciting treasures of the deep. Smiling downward at the pearl she then looked upward to the bright star, "Oh mysterious star I come here offering my prized adventure pearl in hopes you would hear my wish. You see it gets rather lonely when my mate is not around so my wish is a companion able to join me on my adventures." Picking up the pearl in her teeth she closed her eyes placing it on the altar wishing , "Thank you" she smiled back at the star. Retrieving the bag from the rock she swam away crossing her hooves about her wish.

But setting the torn strip of basket among all the other offerings meant she couldn't ignore it any more. She took a deep breath, already feeling the sting of impending tears. "Star, I would ask that you bring Fiammetta back to me safe and sound, but...I have a feeling that's beyond even you." The words burned in the back of her throat. She had feared the worst when it came to Fiammetta's disappearance, but she also hoped for the best still. If luck were kind, they would meet again some day. But that wasn't up to the Star. "I just...I need help." There was still one foal left and her twin's disappearance had taken a heavy toll on her. Coupled with the sudden onset of strange powers that Branwen didn't know anything about, Stellina was struggling to cope with life. And Branwen was struggling to care for her. "Please. I don't want to lose Stellina too. I want to give her the life she deserves, I just can't do it by myself." Branwen stepped away from the altar, crying. She was thankful for the long walk home. She would need it to recover. The last thing she wanted to do was return home crying and worry Stellina.

The stars were shining bright in the sky, and everything felt like it had the last time he'd wished upon a star. He knew that Tom would never ask for more children -- in fact, it had taken him a bit of convincing and soothing to accept the two that Chandar had originally wished for. But Chandar had been an orphened colt, just like Tom. . . and while he might hate the world, deep down, the blue eyed stallion wanted nothing more than a family. A family he could cherish and protect, a family with Tom. Of course, he kept such desires buried deep -- he would not be made a fool or made fun of; he would not let his absolute love for Tom be used against him. He was a strong stallion, who needed no one... but perhaps a few more children might make their family, Tom's army, grow.
Setting down the proffered items, he gave a swish of his tail. ". . . you know what I want," he growled, not daring to look up at the stars. His muscles were tense, his ears alert -- he wouldn't be caught talking to the spirits or confessing such vulnerabilities to anyone. And definitely not to Tom! " . . .I want a family, but Tom wants an army. This might suit both our needs." He nudged the snakeskins and bones with his hoof, before stealing one last glance around.
Then, without another word, he quickly turned back and away. Whether or not the spirits would listen remained to be seen.

The tree must have been magnificent when it was alive, with a trunk nearly as wide as Silvo was long. Now it was skeletal, rotting. Most of the bark had already fallen away, leaving the bare branches white as bone. Helios found it heartbreakingly beautiful. That's why he'd come up here, taking his offerings and his fervent wish. He tucked them safely into a hollow nook in the tree, and then looked to the sky and addressed the star. "I know this might sound silly to you," he said, gruffness hiding the depth of his emotion. "But we want a child. All three of us. We love each other and we're ready. And..." He puffed up now, indignantly protective of his two lifemates. "We could take care of a soquili child perfectly fine, thank you very much. If it eats meat, Silvo will fetch nothing but the best. If it eats plants, it'll give Arco an excuse to natter around the berry bushes more often. Arco and I have been trying for eggs, but.." He sighed. "It's just not working. So please, send us a child, and I swear we'll do right by it." And then he fluttered down, down to where Arco and Silvo waited, aware that he was making this trip. He knew it was a long shot, but maybe, just maybe, the star would listen.

She is very protective and has a very lovely mate who she doesn't mind standing up to when he is in the wrong.
