Beau would quietly glide into the main area of the contest, attempting to once again locate that elusive source of explosions he kept hearing. He saw the roster, no chance for a Heracross today. But he could still find a Delibird if he tried.

Smacking a Hoothoot out of the air as he glided past the bird, Beau kept on gliding towards the ground as he awaited the wondrous sound he knew could occur around here. Well, hopefully.

And there went a Fletchling. Well, he had a bigger bird than that already. Plus it could make fire too. Keep looking.

Another Hoothoot. Well, at least it was a bird this time. Not a good bird for his pursuits, but it was a bird. Stupid bird.

Sub would suddenly snatch Scraggy off the ground to avoid an Onix that came barreling out of the cliff side, heading for the river to get a drink apparently. The monster didn't see the pair and it was debatable on whether or not it would have cared either way. Regardless they were safe now but Sub was still going to carry Scraggy for awhile, that thing was just too careless.

It took more than a little coaxing to get Amaranth to go to Kalos, let alone the Pokemon Village. Things had been a major adjust for her following the events in Agate Village, both for her and everyone she knew. Even Cera wasn't really able to fathom what had exactly happened or why she was so... normal now. She had thought to try and reach Sol about it telepathically, but for now, she figured the best idea was to keep an eye.

As far as Amaranth was concerned, she had come alone, though not without a fair bit of coaxing. None of her Pokemon were too willing to obey all that well, not when they didn't recognize their trainer. Breeze seemed to be the only one who at least was willing to try and trust her, having her out and nearby as they explored the Center Meadow.

During all of this, Cera seemed to be nearby as well, staying out of sight and hopefully away from any of the other Pokemon around. She doubted she'd have to swoop in to help or anything, but she didn't want to risk the chance either.

It wouldn't take terribly long before the duo would encounter a Zangoose, seemingly stuffing... something in its face. Both deciding that they didn't want to go and find out what it was eating, let alone agitate it, they'd go further into the meadow to keep looking.

A short bit of searching would bring the two near an Oddish, and with it, a prompt trip in another direction to find another part of the meadow. No need to disturb more than required.
