I like the darkness.
There's something to the feeling of
not knowing your surroundings,
not seeing the color of things as they appear,
but as they truly are.
The shadow had no need to explain who the other one was. If that person wanted Sohrab to know, they'd tell him. "Yet you were still bought with gold." He shrugged, stopping a second when he heard something about Sohrabs sister. Well that is strange. That boys community wasn't there, and had no way of getting there, at least not the human ones. That was a stupid idea, letting someone go to another realm to prove something, how the eff would they know? The shadow shrugged, must have been something the gods knew, not him.
The shadow actually smiled under the clothing covering his face when Sohrab almost laughed. At least the male wasn't without feeling, both of them. The shadow ever trailed Sohrab, as he was still questioning the servants motives. "home... Earth, I suppose. Someplace, not here." He said, following Sohrab all the way back to his room, only to get a door in his face. "Well. Goodnight then, Sohrab. I am happy you nearly laugh at my bad joke. If you want help. Seek the ravens." And then he was gone. And Dingi's and Sabin's giggles could be heard, but they were actually calming down.
There's something about
the unknown, the quiet, the cold.
There's something unspoken about the dark,
something I can never quite put words to.
Something terrifying, yet beautiful.

"Meh, your joke was pretty surprising. Maybe read a joke book to expand on that." He responded back as he went to the bed and tried to get some sleep. He then remembered he said if he needed help, he should seek the ravens...what ravens? "Never saw the ravens...." He mumbled as he went back to sleep.
With new clothes and possibly a new attitude, he was going around doing the usual chores. He had skipped breakfast since he woke up so late. It was possible his night investigation was the cause of it but he didn't care at this point. He felt even more out of place since the outfit he chose was red and black, while most of the girls wore pretty bright colors like Dingi wanted 'Abira' to try on. Thankfully it had not been forced upon. Where did all the clothes come from? Well, the 'benefitor' that put him there gave him the clothes since the 'modern' clothes he had would've been a sore spot, and a bit obvious on who he really was.
He did decide after his chores to go to the library where he was reading some of the books it offered. It was something he liked to pass the time with. Until 'she' was called for anyways should he put it down and keep going. He did wonder if Sabih was doing ok since he had those faces yesterday and he was soaking wet yesterday morning. Bringing a few books, he went to the only place outside he had access to, reading the books. People might think he was lazy, but he did all the chores required...and lunch was not coming until thirty minutes. Thirty minutes was enough time to get through a few chapters.
The investigation he wanted to do was in his brain though as he knew he needed to find out what happened, the King & Queen were taking their slow a** time and it bothered him. "Reminds me of the Justice System." He mumbled as he kept reading. Speaking of that, he had not seen Dingi and/or Sabih at all today...which seemed weird...but maybe they were just busy.

The life of a prince was hard. Dingi got an hour of sleep and he was up. There were things to be done, things that needed to be signed and looked over, and morons to yell at. Forget breakfast, second breafkast, or snack time. Most of the morning was rules by him trying to find parts of his family by hand, and the second was a meeting, and a grim one at that. By the time it was finished, it was near lunch and the word had already spread. Dingi wanted to hide himself. Even up in the library people would be whispering that 'the prince has denied yet another marriage proposal.'
"God these people talk so much." Dingi huffed. heading up to his favorite place to go and hide. Through the library he went and as he approached the area he needed to be at, he saw none other than the quiet little thing reading a book. Dingi took a breath and sighed. "Lovely outfit..." He said scratching his head. He was in a short conflict with himself but he took a breath. "You wont tell, will ya?" He asked. A door opening against the stone wall, a secret door at that, with steps going up. "Why don't you tag along?" Dingi looked physically depressed. "Quickly, please, I would rather not anyone know this is here."

Sohrab was reading the book when suddenly he saw that Dingi had come up, complimenting 'her' outfit. "Oh hey Dingi, you ok?" He saw that Dingi looked a bit out of place. "You and Sabih...maybe you two need to see a therapist." He mumbled as he then heard Dingi asked if 'she' won't tell anyone. "What's wrong?" He asked as the stone wall opened up, with Dingi asking if the could come along. "Oh....ok." Sohrab came by quickly as to keep the secret. He came inside the pathway as he wondered what was wrong. "Are you doing ok? It seems like this place is getting more and more depressing each day....and I don't think that's normal....is it?"

Dingi didn't even notice he was by name. "Sabin is fine, he's just crazy. I on the other hand, may." He said getting Sohrab into the pathway and stepping in behind Abira. THe 'door' closed without a seam and Dingi gently ressed passed Abira to take the lead up the winding steps. "It's not normal. Partially my fault, I guess." He said. When he got to the top of the steps, it opene dup into a large sized circular room with no windows. It had opening for windows, but no actual windows in them. Bathed in natural light the room was cluttered with books that only DIngi had access too. For having so many books, it was still very clean, and looked to be a bedroom. Ah, this must have been Dingi's actual bedroom, not one he moved into.
Dingi sat in a lovely chair and looked at Sohrab. The room was partially European in style. "Mother and father are pushing me to marry, as if that is truly important right now. I still have several hundreds of years before either of them pass away and I need to take control, unless they're planning on quitting, which wouldn't be a surprise to me." Dingi pouted, actually pouted. "As for people being depressed, that is something with them being close to me. as the godkin of love, happiness, and a few other things, If I'm depressed, others around me will get that way too. It's horrible, faking being happy day in, and day out." He shrugged, looking out the window. "Oh. my shadow said he ran into you last night." Dingi lifted his head and gestured towards the nightstand where the phone now sat. "It's been cleared, you can take it. He also apologies for making you feel uncomfortable, and for turning your phone black. It may act a little weird since it still has black magic in it."

Dingi smiled. "He already knows." He chuckled and yawned, leaning on the windowsill and looking out of it. It was a amazing view, showing just how far the town spanned, this was more of a large city than a 'town'. "Hm? I have Sabin and shadow. Sabin and I grew up together, he knows, but he's going through his own stress right now. His god is dying. I fear my Sabin will die with him." Dingi said, looking out towards the lake. Sabin was there in the middle of it with a pale as paper young man.
"Aye, I come here, though its never a good thing when I come here." He said, closing his eyes. "I don't want to be godkin, I dont want to be a prince. I just want to be normal." He mumbled. "I hate hiding away from people and living things when I'm like this. Everything dies." He grumbled and yawns. Dingi rubbed his eyes and he sat up, smiling sadly at Sohrab. "I'm sorry to burden you with my problems."

Dingi smiled to himself again and took a shaky breath looking out to Nayu and Sabin. the prince was closer to Sabin than even his parents, so it was understandable that he was worried. "Hm? I've asked to leave my title and be stripped of my powers. I was was told no. So i don't think it will be any time soon." He chuckled, watching birds go by. He seemed to relax a little, as he was being really lazy and relaxed. "Sabin owes his life to Nayu. He wasn't born wit that white hair, you know. That is one of the few marks that showed up after Nayu saved him... So yes, life connection thingy... and the only way to stop Nayu from dying is for him to have sacrifices... One or two would do, which also worries me Sabin, being the bone head he is, would volunteer to do that." He shrugged and his gaze turned to Sohrab. "You still don't believe in gods? what would it take to convert you?"

Dingi chuckled at the 'woman' in front of him. "your faith must be strong to refuse the existence of any other god." He smiles a little. "Though if you ever think of anything. I'd love to have you believing in what I can do." He sat up and looked out to the lake. it was surrounded by vegetation and wildlife, a scene out of a picture book. It was lovely, this lake, this city.
"One a year, mostly. For a few years. I dont know the requirements, I really don't think there is any.... Nayu has only taken willing sacrifices before. The issue where it all started was that humans were getting way too demanding... A new river is born every time his physical body is 'killed'. Terrible isnt it? And then when he vanished because of the abuse, all of his so called 'followers' stopped worshiping him... A god is nothing without their worshipers or those who believe in them... "

Dingi just wanted to mope. He just closed his eyes and yawned, he wanted to sleep. but he was got up and dragged along. Dingi felt like he was 3 and he whined briefly while he was dragged out. He didn't mind, he just didn't want to leave. He wanted sleep! He yawned and was taken down to the lake. Nayu looked panicked being approached so quickly and Sabin blinked at Sohrab. "Sorry. He's just a little... Doesn't trust people." Nayu curled in on himself and hid behind Sabin. "He'd need anything he can get. Who is it you have in mind?" Sabin asked, wrapping his arm around the god. Nayu peaked over Sabin's shoulder to at least smile at Sohrab. "Um. Hello. How are you?" Nayu whispered. "Just drown them here in the rivr. It'll be enough for a while, thank you..."

Sohrab nodded as he then went to Dingi. "Alright, that's confirmed. That means I need to go to the human world right now. This is the only way." Sohrab had no idea what he was doing this, as in all honestly...he would find random douche bags that are just unfortunate to be sacrificed. "Also...is there any like...spell...or potion....that can be of help...drugs?" He mumbled as he knew just fighting won't be easy. Then something came to mind that Shadow could be of help, but it seemed like he was a guard of the whole place so maybe not. Maybe he should get a gun...but then again...Nayu said to drown them in the river would be it. "How do I get back and forth between here and the human world?"

Dingi cocked a brow and grinned. "What do you need drugs for?" He asked, not sure about what the 'woman' was thinking. All he knew was that he wanted his friends to survive. He would also love it if he could find where his girls were going to, but one step at a time. He took a breath and looked at the woman. "I can escort you, if you like. If not, I will need permission to track you and yank you back here if something is wrong." Dingi said, rubbing his eyes. "I visit earth quite a bit. Made a few friends, but I'm sure where you need to be is different..."
