"...I think I might deserve this since I did the same to you" there was a very faint hint of a smile as he watched Ash and blinked. He took a deep breath and slowly let it out focusing on the words as he started walking while moving close to Ashral as she floated by him for the moment.

"So you made that video...is that your first time seeing and working with something like that?" he asked quietly waking up a little more as he lifted his middle wing and drop it carefully over Ash with a hint of a smile at her as he covered the receiver. "A.......friend. I think, it is still up in the air. More as cordial acquaintance " he uncovered the receiver again.

"In terms of making a point.. you did well. Were the reactions and discussions not what you all expected? Or is it something else?" he said quietly and even but bared his teeth at the mention of the Mercenary and Kae, resisting the temptation to ask right then and there how she was. Cordeila called for a reason..and it sounded like she needed someone to listened to her...plus she was the only one other than Mara and Tri who had his number.

She normally would have gotten annoyed at such a comment but she merely sighed. It was a truth and that couldn't be denied, even so, her thoughts were racing and she didn't have anyone else to talk to. She switched the phone to her other ear and began to walk, but not that he would hear that.

She frowned and her voice went soft, "...yeah... I... that was the first time.. I'd seen anything like that at all... I usually just gather information on the computer, teleport here and there, and sometimes snipe... but maybe I just had been so naive that I didn't know what I was really up against..." she explained with another sigh. "Ree, this is all... a bit too much for me..." she muttered then went silent for the moment.

Ashral listened to his words, trying to understand what they were talking about but it was lost on her. As he dropped a wing over her, she glanced up to him with a slight frown and noted his smile. He explained the relation he had to the other person on the phone as she nodded slowly, forcing a smile before looking away again. 'He's lying..'

There was a hint of pain in her eyes for a moment that died back down and she sighed, just keeping focus elsewhere.

"Ahh.. I mean, the reactions are exactly what he expected and maybe a bit more. Well, there's some other stuff with that, but that's not it. It's something else with me, anyway.. I'm just... Maybe I regret some things.." she made a frustrated noise and walked faster. "I don't know... I think I've just got jitters from having to watch all that sadistic crap Haven did to Lucy's sister. And to Kae..." her voice went quiet again, "...to that kid..." she whispered, the pain clear in her voice as it sounded like she was about to cry. "I think I'm just scared, you know... Zaku said that we needed to be careful because Haven would likely come at us in full force... and I..." she hesitated and went silent for quite a few moment before her frail voice muttered something, "..I don't want to go back..."

//sometimes snipe........// Ha....haha

He let out a sigh as her mind went quickly went through different senerios and possible outcomes just from picking up from the hidden question in her words. Eventually he just shook his head slightly and answered her a second or two later.

"I asked because when I saw something like that for the first time I could 't move around the base. I was so afraid of walking around alone or going to the lower levels and recognizing the places where those things happened, afraid it would happen to me. While at the same time I couldn't tell anyone why I was afraid because I shouldn't have seen those files. " he said quietly, looking over to Ash silently then away as he just walked forward, switching the phone to his other hand.

"Now you're going directly after the people who do everything you saw and would not hesitate for a moment to try and do it to you if you....return" he sighed as he actually caught what she meant by that, god she was lucky.

"Being horrified if a good thing, it's when you stop feeling that there are problems. Like now...I assume Zaku has seen something like that and does not understand that there are those in his group who would be terrified of his words. Having something like Haven hunting specifically for them because of what was done, is that what worries you? .." He asked softly, kicking at a rock. "Why don't you leave? It sounds like your not hunting politicians any more ..but going for the large fish and poking it"

Cordelia frowned, but at least he understood what she was talking about. "It's weird.. everything feels so surreal now. This fight. Haven. I haven't slept in a while. I think I'm just tired. Maybe I am just really scared of what could happen." she retorted then paused. "...hold on.." she was quiet again as she teleported again and then sighed. "Zaku understands. That's why he told us. He told us all that if we wanted to leave now knowing what we're up against, he wouldn't stop us. And I know for a fact he wouldn't even if that put his own life in danger.... he's kind of a selfless idiot like that..." there was a bit of scorn in her voice before it calmed down again quickly. "He suggested that, you know... that I should leave... I'm the youngest member of EE and he said I was probably too innocent to be going up against Haven like they used to. He said it would be different this time, it won't be the understanding of one of us could die. He said Haven has a way of changing people, and things like what you guys did to Andy they could do or far worse. And he's right. But I also know that if I leave, so will Baelan... and I can't do that to Zaku. I'd feel horrible if we left and then Haven hurt them because I wasn't there to help stop them. The renegade is my only family.. it's just... kinda shitty to turn your back on your family and expect to sleep well at night..." she sighed, "I don't know what to do... and it's not like I can go talking to anyone in renegade without ******** screaming mutiny and the like... bunch of murder squad idiots..." she leaned against the wall and kicked her foot against the ground idly again. "I wish I knew what to do..." she paused, "Ahh, I'm sorry. I've been rambling about myself this whole time... How are you? Alive, I see... Is.. Tri okay? Not that I actually care or anything. Oh, and did you find that girl?" she questioned, trying to get off the subject of herself. It was awkward and she was honestly embarrassed that she had rambled on to him like that without even seeing if he was okay.

Ashral just kept looking away before sighing and closing her eyes. She didn't know what she was feeling, but the pain in her chest kept getting stronger by the second as she just tried to focus on breathing and not on his conversation. They seemed to be fairly close to be talking about such personal issues. She then paused and looked over at him. He seemed to be empathizing with the girl on the phone, a twinge of anger flickered in her eyes then settled for the moment as she then forced herself to look away again.

Ree nodded faintly even as he winced as some of her words hit a little to close to what had just happened recently, not that she would know. Others caught his interest but he said nothing just letting her talk until she reached then end. The look on his face was incredulous but also slight amusement before the seriousness of everything tempered his words.

"We found her safe and sound mostly" he replied unable to hide the bitterness from his voice as he continued. "Haven did not have her, she just ran off. " he sigh and wave his free hand to the side. "It doesn't matter now, she's happy I guess. " shook his head. "Back to what you said about Haven being able to do a lot worse than what we did to Andy. It is true, they have ways to make you obey them and be unable to fight against it once it's all done. Programming" he said simply as he glanced toward Ash sadly.

"So you want to know what to do." he said with a slight chuckle. "I am one of the worst people to ask oh dear enemy" he admitted as he took a breath. " Staying or leaving are not your only two options. What about helping from a different place or be placed on call. Outside of sniping, which you might still need a little more work on " he said while giving the flat landscape ahead of him a fierce smile. "I heard your pretty good with computers, Tri was impress with your surveillance program not that he would ever admit it while you're alive." he stated with a smirk." Maybe you should take a little break from EE and see what you can code up that could help against Haven. Be on call if Zaku needs you for teleports but stay away from the actual fighting. You even have your own protector if this Baelan wants to stay with you. "

She sighed with some form of relief to here the girl was not in the hands of Haven. "Well, that's good..." she commented simply, wanting to add more, but didn't. She shifted uneasily as the topic delved straight back to Haven as she listened. "...i figured..." she muttered quietly then closed her eyes.

She opened her eyes, blinking, "Oh my god, I'm not asking you what I should do... jeez.." she bit back with a twinge of anger then quieted down as she smirked faintly and snorted a bit. "I honestly just wanted to talk to someone to get it all off my chest.. for some reason, you happened to be the person I called..." she explained then dislodged a rock with her shoes as she kicked against the ground. She looked over then moved from the wall and began to walk again carefully. "I suppose that sounds a bit better. I'm not exactly equipped to be offense though I'd been able to hold my own a few times." she nodded even if he couldn't see it. "I think I'll talk to Zaku about that when I get back then... And Baelan too. I can tell him to stay but I doubt he would if I'm not there... Either way, I guess I'd have to go figure out a place to go... I don't know, it still feels a little wrong, but maybe this is okay. Do what I can from afar. If we fight face-to-face with them, I'm not sure I could actually take them..." she twisted the side of her lip upward in thought then closed her eyes briefly. "Thanks, Ree... I don't know why its so easy to talk to you... but it helps.."

Ree just laughed "Because I am a horrible shoulder to cry on. I always want to start trying to fix it if I can" he said truthfully with only a glimmer of sadness. "Well... I guess this is good luck to you then. I would offer if you wanted to come with us but I would have to talk it out with someone else first....and I don't think we have internet connection " he snickered only a little reluctant to hang up because he had to deal with Ash pointedly avoiding looking at him.
PostPosted: Wed Jun 15, 2016 8:54 pm

"Oh my god, who said I was crying..." she said with a joking laugh. "I don't know, I just feel like I relate to you.. which is weird because I barely know you... I also almost killed you... Sooo that's kinda really weird." she chuckled nervously then sighed. "Yeah... thanks... I hope you luck too with whatever you're up to these days..." she paused as he spoke of her going with them. "Hey now, don't go saying things like that, I might just say yes..." she paused then laughed softly. "....Zaku would have a s**t fit for sure... and not to mention murder squad would be the first to scream that I'm a traitor.... I don't know... I just have a lot to think about I guess... Text me some time, though. I like talking to you." she commented then was quiet for a bit. "..uhm... well.... bye then.." she waited for a moment before hanging up the phone reluctantly. She sighed as she stopped and looked up for a moment before closing her eyes and then shadow jumping again.

"....we should find some place so you can rest..." she commented softly, her voice slightly bitter but calm as she kept looking away then frowned, move her hand to grip her other arm reflexively. She wanted to say something but couldn't find the words as she hushed voices in her head whispered incoherently about his supposed deceit that she was trying hard to ignore. She then narrowed her eyes sadly then found something to talk about. "....what if I found out my brother was still around...." she spoke suddenly, her eyes still averted. The note in her stocking, it called to a part of her that was curious for answers but also caused pain in her chest as she was too afraid to act on it.

"Hah.... So would Tri and Mara. Yea....bye" he said back she hanged up after a bit and he he looked at the baterry carefully before moving it to battery saving mode. Only then did he look up at Ashral and nodded slightly looking at little more awake as if he had a second surge of energy that won't last long.

"Sorry I was going to fly but hard to talk and to many thing to concentrate on" he said sounding apologetic as he paused and unfurled his wings before pausing. "Shogu?" he looked surprised then narrowed his eyes at her carefully. "You heard from him? in the house?" she said glancing back then to her and shook his head.

" I said I would help you look for him and I would. Did you find something to make you think he is um... alive again?" he said turning his head to look at her as he kept his wing over her for warmth.
PostPosted: Thu Jun 16, 2016 4:18 am

She nodded in confirmation at the name, then shook her head to the second question. "No, not in the house..." she answered, trying to find the best way to put it. "He left me a message... " she explained then paused and frowned. "A part of me had wanted to find him again, but now I don't know... I just don't think I'm ready to face him and all that." she confessed as she couldn't seem to decide to look away or look towards him, though she never appeared to make eye contact. "...Can I just... stay with you for now?... " she asked quietly, frowning. "I don't want to go yet..."

Ree gaze held a flicker of pain as he glanced toward Ashral's hands as expecting to see the message. She didn't know what she was asking and would likely have been happy if she knew. He had come to look for her but never really expected to find her. Instead he was worrying more about Mara and Tri's reaction and how to defend himself. Hexxis? He didn't give a flying rat's a** about right now. She might think she is right but to those who just saw her actions? At least with Ash and Coredlia he knew they were not to be trusted complete, they warned him of that in different ways.

What where his actions showing if he choose to stay with Ash instead of go back? Jealousy, stubbornness, idiocy, and childishness instead of the anger, outrage, betrayel ..okay jelousy and at least some forethought. Darn it he was almost the same was Hexxis.

Running his hand through his hair and nodded slightly, he will have to figure out where they could go how to even live...what to say to Tri tomorrow. As dangerous as it was for him Ash still had some control and there was a possibility he could stop her from attacking others. She was lonely, while he couldn't be what she wanted, he could at still try to be her friend. //end up like Tri...only dead// a small part of his mind whispered.

"Yes, you can. I have to talk to Tri tomorrow but he might not mind in his current mood. " he muttered a little dully before looking back up at her face. " Can I see this message from Shogu? " He asked quietly, wondering if it was real...and modern.

She waited for a moment before slowly forcing herself to look up at him, watching him with a concerned curiosity as he seemed deep in thought. As he nodded and confirmed she could stay with him she couldn't help but smile and sigh with relief. At least he still wanted her around. That would be good enough for her for now. Just stay close, she didn't want to leave yet, and she was thankful he wasn't going to push her to go. Though, when he mentioned Tri, her smile faded and she looked away with a sense of regret. "You're not suggesting going to where Tri is, are you?... I don't think I can stop myself from hurting him... not like I can with you.." she paused and looked at him with guilt for admitting it like that then quickly looked to the ground, "...it's just... like seeing red.. with him, I can't stop it.. It's really hard to ignore that feeling that I get when I see him... I'm scared that I would do something that I would regret...." she gripped her arm with her hand and lowered her head a bit. "...I don't want you to end up hating me because I couldn't stop myself from trying to kill him..." she muttered softly.

She was silent for a bit then Ree asked to see the message she had received as she gripped her arm even tighter and was obviously hesitant about the matter. It took quite a number of moments before she mustered the courage to move. Letting go of her arm, she slipped her hand down into her stocking and pulled out a folded up piece of paper and timidly held it out to Ree, looking away with a frown.

"Dear beloved sister...
I have become aware of your recent arrival on the material realm...
I wish to see you again. Please leave a note a week before you wish to see me...
Maybe we can play hide and seek again...
Shogu "

Ree listened to her quietly and shook his head. "I am glad to hear you say that but no, I would not suggest that after what happened last time." he muttered tapping his pocket. " I can at least talk to him on the phone.... he could likely track us to but I don't want to break everything off." his voice taking on a hint of worry and hesitation before he just shook his head. " That is what Hexxis did, but I still love them to much to just do that. Keeping in contact is the best I can do now I guess" he let out a sigh, going more into detail than he intended with what he was planning to do than he thought.

"Again thank you for telling me. I will try to keep you both apart and find a way to at least be available." he mutter with a flicker of worry before Ashral went quiet. He stopped walking and watched her quietly as she tensed then hesitated before reaching down to her stocking.

"...." silently he reached out and took the note carefully, eyeing the condition of a paper as he opened it and glanced down at the words. "......" closing it he handed it back to her silently while glancing to the tree still easily in sight. No time limit just a week, meaning her brother should be barely close by. "Are you sure?" he ask, allowing her to change her mind before he took wing, the last part of the message still bothering him.
PostPosted: Fri Jun 17, 2016 4:27 am

Ashral seemed relieved that she would be kept apart from Tri and that Ree was just trying to stay in contact. "Yeah... I can see that, I guess..." she agreed a bit before shifting her eyes away nervously at him thanking her. "..uhm... yeah... I just... I know we don't have a deal anymore... but I still don't want to make you unhappy with what I'm capable of..." she muttered.

As he read the note, she tensed, grasping at her arm once more as she kept her gaze away. She waited for a response but then he handed it back. She took the note and slipped it back into her stocking and looked up to him with a bit of worry and sadness in her face. He asked her if she was sure as she glanced over to where the tree was visible in the distance and sighed. Ashral then looked to Ree and nodded slowly. "...maybe one day... but I don't think I'm ready to see him again... I'd still be too afraid to tell him how I felt... So.... I just want to stay with you for now... I'm sure."

Ree watched her and nodded slowly, glad to hear that because he had worried about what she wanted to do now that there was no deal. Seems they were on the same boat, having no clue what to do next after recovery. Eh they had time..a lot of time really unless Tri follows or Mara did.

He listened and nodded again as she spoke of being to afraid to tell Shogu how she felt. That made sense, he only hoped it was soon because the likelihood of both of them dying then coming back and even being able to find each other was slim. Was Shogu a mane? A malice? As he still inside a host that was hiding out here? He was curious but not enough to risk Ashral's mental state on it.

"Let's go then" he said quietly as his hold over Ash started to trembled as his physical and mental fatigue burned through the slight surge of energy cause by talking for Cordelia. Quickly taking wing he headed toward the many named city while flying low to the ground, just focusing on what was ahead.

He was not oblivious enough not to notice the way Ashral tried not to look at him, the shy muttering when they talked or how she was now hesitant about talking to Shogu. No, none of that had escaped his notice, but he choosed not to acknowledge it right now. Maybe later once they were both feeling better he will confront the question that must be on her mind and put a stop to it before it got out of hand. He would have done it now if she just hadn't lost control twice and was still injured, which could also be a reason for her reaction as well. Yea, wait until she is better and see how she acts.
