He had hung back and been quiet, watching the fighting. Didn't seem right to try and fight her, given he had all the time in the world to spar with his merm. This was for the good of the group.
But as soon as Eezy asked him, well... No way was he about to turn down his buddy. "Sure! LET'S DO THIS!"
Maneki joined the team attack, knowing how to hit his merm where it hurt - in her wallet... Er hip. Her hip. Kapow!

'Oops.' Tevini paled as she realized she'd shot at Keionx. The redblood didn't know the knight very well but had heard she was a strong member of the rebellion from Cerpin. All she really knew about the girl was that he was training under her. She wondered how that was going.
But now was not the time for that. Returning her attention to Byakko, the girl noticed some of the other kids starting some sort of plan. She didn't fully understand it but decided it was a good idea to attack as a team. Waiting to let them begin, she loaded her gun once more and prepared to fire. Once Eyzaak ran in and created a diversion, she opened fire at Byakko.
((Am having Tevini join Eyzaak's team but I'm not sure how many members there are in order to total my damage for you, Mea. Sorry! > A< ))

Ⅱ Autumn Vikare
As Autumn disentangled herself from her weapon, she heard Eyzaak call over to her. Her face flushed at the sound of her concern. Pushing herself to her feet, she lashed her flail with a crack. She forced her expression into one of disdain. Her wings began to buzz and she lifted into the air. “I'm fine,” she said, eyes askance. “Why don't you make yourself useful?” Her gaze flickered back towards him. A smile curved over her lips and she winked.
Trusting Eyzaak to do what was necessary, she turned away from the blueblood to regard Byakko. While working with others was not in her nature, she would be stupid to waste this opportunity. Besides, she was not about to let the blueblood show her up. She would let him take care of orchestrating their attack though, since he had already shown such adeptness for it.
As Akkira, Eyzaak, and Poeias cornered the mutantblood, peppering their attacks with taunts, Autumn surveyed from overhead. Not far from where Byakko stood was a large boulder... one that they could pin her against. Autumn swooped down behind the mutantblood. Making eye contact with those engaged in melee, she gestured for them to spread. Then, once they had cleared, she gave her flail a hard swing. The bamboo cracked and coiled around Byakko's torso. Landing on top of the boulder, Autumn gave her weapon a harsh yank.
[ Autumn does 11 damage. ]

While the blueblood hollering stuff had a good idea to distract Byakko, Cerpin couldn't help but roll his eyes at the kid. Eyzaak's voice was just so loud and obnoxious, though that was sort of the point. Cerpin couldn't help but want to compete for the role of the leader so he glared as the other began the distraction and commanded the team.
"Oh oops, my bad." Cerpin dashed past Eyzaak, his foam weapon smacking the other kid behind his knees as he passed him, and gave the other boy a mock surprised expression before turning back to Byakko to continue the mob assault. That ought to bring the other boy down to size. He slammed his weight into her shins, attempting to knock her down. He didn't manage to knock her over but he could see that the attack had helped back her towards the boulder and he rolled to the side to avoid any trampling from other attacks. Another success!
((JOINING EYZAAK'S TEAM - kinda lost track of how many kids are on it now o wo;wink)

She was starting to get the hang of this, darting in and out of the way while her teammates thrashed at Byakko. Tevini would not consider it fun but it was certainly a mental challenge for her to try and stay useful but to the side. She focused on keeping her vision on the group rather than Byakko, not wanting to shoot any of them. Her gun wouldn't seriously hurt anyway, it only had suction dart bullets, but it could sting a little and she wasn't confident these kids would forgive her.
'Huh?' Autumn was gesturing for them to spread and Tevini didn't really understand why. They were trying to corner the mutantblood right? Confused, she stepped backwards, deciding to wait and see what the yellowblood's plan was. As she did, the redblood bumped her elbow against a low branch she hadn't noticed and her gun went off accidentally...
rp reserve for eyzaak to react to Autumn's challenge/rebuke of his pity in favor of spurring them all to try harder...que him bear hugging akko to try and bring her down for the rest of the kids to swarm her.
Don't think this needs another dice roll given how much damage we've done but why not razz
"I s... I see." It was hard not to start hissing while talking to Stryke - it was such a fun sssound... sound... to make, and such an easy habit to fall into, even for Keionx whose thee's and thou's did not lend themssselves... themselves... to hissing sounds.
"Makes sense, indeed... If thou can, could I see those notes after thou art done?" she asked. She was aware, to a degree, that things were restricted to her because of her lack of seniority - or 'cred' - with the initiative, but it was such an odd concept to the straightforward orangeblood that she asked anyway.
She watched the children, smiling as they clustered together into groups and... ducking... as something came flying for her. "Whoa!" she exclaimed, more intrigued than anything, as she looked at the fake arrow that had now stuck itself to her shield. That had been Tevini, hadn't it. Interesting... aim.
"HaHA!" she cheered, as the children began to really fight, "Look at them! They art doing well, thinkest thee?!" she said to Stryke, grinning. It did not hurt her ego to see that Cerpin, her current... squire, if that word was truly the correct one... was doing VERY well. If they were trained further, however... what a glory to behold!
Speaking of which...
"Stryke, if thou wishest..." she said, pointing to herself with her thumb, her face vaguely flushed with the excitement of the fun fight she was witnessing, "I could train thee!"

Stryke glanced at Keionx with a curious tilt to his head, as he regarded her as she asked to see his notes. "it's nothing official, just my observations on their behaviors." He let her glance, there were doodles of each child with surprising accuracy for details and his neat handwriting scrawled across the page. It wasn't like they were important documents. Stryke was an errand runner yes, but even he had no official title as of yet. Stryke just helped around the village as much as he could afford to along with his other responsibilities.
Stryke had opted to do this on his own volition, and was trying to keep his head low to not interfere. "they are doing rather well! it's promising to see." He began, excitement in his voice. Then glancing at her then with a serious expression. "i don't need training in that senssse. byakko has that covered...however. i would like to ssspar with you sure." He gently corrected his friend.
"s..ssh--!!" Stryke visibly looked tense, his eyes flickering around sensing something was amiss..although he wasn't sure what exactly.
His attention turned, tension building in his frame as he watched Tevini back up after the first bullet had hit Keionx's shield. Nervous, a yellow glimmer twinkled around him. When the next bullet as he spoke with his companion came at him, he turned abruptly, raising a hand out in a Stop motion.
The clock appeared a few inches in front of him. It began making a loud ticking sound, creating a time stasis field as it stopped the harmless toy bolt. His eyes widened slightly. "tevini..you have a target pleassse try and aim for her.." He raised his clipboard up sheepishly, squinting over the top of it as if it were a shield. He cleared his throat, before making a note on it. Just like magic, the psionic yellow light faded..and the clocks and ticking sound were gone. Like nothing had happened the bullet dropped on the ground uselessly.
Stryke pursed his lips as he glanced over at the small swarm of children, assuming the encounter to be over. It looked like Byakko in fact was being overwhelmed by their efforts. She was being hoarded by a swarm of small children of various ages.
