"Shadow what?" I asked Sub. I caught everything he said, it's just that I had no clue what he was going on about. Still, when he mentioned infecting Pokemon, I backed off, glad that I hadn't released any of my pokemon yet. I didn't need more problems.

SubonicXP "What the..." Sub muttered as the blonde woman came running out of the woods, a break dancing Pokemon chasing after her. Immediately Sub was able to sense that familiar chi coming from it. It was a Shadow Pokemon. "A Shadow Pokemon, here of all places!?" He shouted in disbelief. The Psybeam would blast the Hitmontop but all it seemed to do was cause the Pokemon to spin the opposite way and just make it even angrier as its chi spiked. The spinning would then launch its self off the ground and flying towards Dewdrop and Ursula like a shadowy spinning drill as it executed Shadow Blitz. "Crap, I know I got a scent in here...hold it off but try and keep your distance while I get the Immunizer running! Don't need more infected Pokemon." Sub warned, but it was likely that Ryan had already exposed his Pokemon. "Sub! Catch!" Isaac called out, as he tossed him a package of Vivid Scent. Retrieving his Magnemite's Pokeball, Isaac hesitated to send Ferrus into battle just yet, opting to wait for Sub to get the Immunize function of his SNAG running first. Although, as he glanced over at Ryan's menagerie of Pokemon, it seemed likely that there would soon be a lot more infected Pokemon on the field.

"Got it!" Sub declared as he snatched the Vivid Scent out of mid air. "Vivid, awesome." He muttered as he plugged the scent vial into his Snag Machine, the device giving off a whirling noise as a visible five yard wide circle of energy surrounded him. Fortunate the circle was big enough from where he stood to protect Ryan's Pokemon but was he too late? Hard to really say.
Regardless, the Hitmontop was successful and barreling over one of Ryan's Pokemon, whether or not it got infected is another story. The Shadow Hitmontop would come out on the other side of the circle where it would begin to spin in place rapidly, a wave of shadowy energy flowing outwards from it violently as it executed a Shadow Wave.
[Rolling for infection on Dewdrop and Ursula, respectively. If even, they are safe. If odd, infected. Individual dice rolls for each so ignore total.]

The woman would see the field pop up before long, only to see that she was out of range what with being in the woods. She'd have to move closer before trying to act, pressing the button on the Pokeball in her hand once she was safely in rage of the Immunizer's effects. An arm would still be over her chest as a Togekiss came out, who took one good look at the woman nearby and made a confused chirp.
"What's wrong?" She'd ask at once, seeing the Pokemon's apprehension. "Don't you know who I am?"
This seemed to only confuse the Togekiss even more. The voice might've been familiar, but the rest surely wasn't. Especially not someone who was all of five seconds away from a public indecency charge being filed against her.
"Please, you have to trust me!"
It didn't seem to be working, the Togekiss moving further back, unaware that they were moving ever closer to the others and the battle at hand as a desperate cry was heard, as if they were saying to get away and bring them back to their real trainer. The only thing that seemed to stop the moment was the Togekiss' discovery of the viral chi in the area, prompting a quick turn to see the Hitmontop before trying to attack it with Air Slash.

Crystal's ears tilted to the side once she saw the naked blonde girl, wondering why she was out here, then her ears went back once she felt the vile chi coming from the Hitmontop. "This is what a Shadow Pokémon feels like? And I thought that they were quarantined in Hoenn?" She threw out one of her Pokéballs once Sub activated his Immunizer, letting out her Bronzor. "Bronzor, Extrasensory!"
"Zor!" The little mirror moved out slightly and attacked the Hitmontop with a random pulsation of Psychic chi, spinning in place while doing so.

"Hm?" The man craned his head around, trying to get a good look at Cera as she returned in her hybrid appearance. "Well, is that Cera? I haven't seen you in a moon's age!" He smiled, then turned to the rest of the group. "You're all friends of her's? Interesting company you keep. Alright though. Just be good, alright," he chuckled.
"Ah, thank you very much." She turned around to Cera as she walked out, raising an eyebrow. "So, you're from here? And from what I gathered, you know at least of the person at House Eight?"

At first, I was worried. I'd never heard of whatever a Shadow Pokemon was before. To make matters worse, my headache surged whenever the thing got near me, so whatever infected it is attacking the chi in my head. I could only imagine what it would do to one of my Pokemon. And yet people were releasing their friends to fight it. It seemed that whatever Sub activated created some kind of bubble that protected the recently released Pokemon from that creature. After taking a deep breath, I released Rala, making sure the beam from her Pokeball put her safely inside the Immunizer bubble.
Rala looked panicked, as though she could sense whatever was wrong with the Hitmontop. "I need you to stay still," I told her. "As long as you stay in this circle of energy-"
I was interrupted as the Hitmontop's Shadow Wave covered the area, my head erupting in pain as a result. Fortunately, it died down quickly, just enough that I could think straight again. "Urgh. This circle of energy will protect you from being infected, so make sure to stay inside. In the meantime, that Hitmontop should still, hopefully, be weak to Psychic-type attacks, so try using Confusion on it. Give it everything you've got."
Rala looked very much afraid by what was going on, but she seemed to take my words to heart. After making sure she was in the very center of the Immunizer bubble, she closed her eyes for a moment before opening them and emiting a warped, twisted ray of Celestial Chi at the Hitmontop.

Keiko, meanwhile, was hanging at the back of the pack, letting the other Snagems do the talking. Something about this mission hasn't sat well with her since she got here, and she was playing it safe for the moment. Waiting and seeing. Wasn't her usual way of doing things, but then she'd been away from the team for over a year.

Ryan barely falls out of the way of the incoming Hitmontop, It's attack scraping up against Ursula. Dewdrop had managed to evade the incoming attack, but it had been close. As Ryan gathered himself and got back to his feet, he was quick to give orders once more. " Dewdrop, Air Slash!" Ryan orders to his Swanna. Dewdrop circles and unleashes the blade of air at the Hitmontop.
But as Ryan shifted Ursula in his arms, she began to thrash about, even bit her trainer on the hand. "Yeowch! Ursula! what's....oh no." Ryan yells, then slowly comes to the realization. Ursula was now infected with the Shadow Virus. This was not good, and Ryan didn't have time to address this right now. He would recall his Remoraid and focus on the fight with Dewdrop.

While the others were dealing with the Shadow Pokemon in the forest, Kaya was looking for House 8. From what he could tell now, he had found the place but he didn't want to go in without anyone else. So he pulled out his SNAG and sent a message to Aile. She had been the de facto leader of split groups for a while so odds were she was in charge of the others anyway. Odd's Message Hey, I found the house. Sending coordinates. With that, his message contained an attachment with his current location marked.

Glancing at the display, he did a double take, before taking a long look at the naked woman. Her face this time, not the rest of her. Almost forgetting entirely about the infected Pokemon in front of him Isaac switched between examining her, and the display of his Snag, who's voice recognition function seemed to be lying to him about the identity of the woman. "This thing can't be right," he muttered, confused by the machine's report, "Can it?"

The onslaught of Super Effective attacks proved to be too much for the Shadow Hitmontop, and if not for that the Pokemon appeared noticeably sluggish as if it was already worn down before its rampage. Either way the Snagems were able to put it down quickly enough, leaving them to figure out what just happened.
"Phew, that could have been much worse...not that your Remoraid getting infected isn't bad, Ryan." Sub said, his Snag Machine's immunizer puttering out. "Don't worry, it can't infect your Pokemon if it can't attack them." He reassured Terashi. "So, who are you and why was that Shadow Pokemon attacking you?" He asked the woman. "Also, will someone snag this thing?" He said, kicking the knocked out Hitmontop.

"Good to know," I replied, recalling Rala anyway. I had no idea what I was dealing with, but it left me paranoid as all get out despite Sub's reassurances.
"Pass," I added to Sub's request of snagging the viral Pokemon as I dug into my bag. I pulled out a very tightly folded-up blanket and tossed it to the nude lady. Nobody needed to see that.

Leslie would look between the Togekiss and the blond woman before simply saying, "Sub. Its a person, with a Togekiss, who knows about Snagem enough not to freak out. I don't think that's a long list." Glancing down at Greesix, the Mawile hybrid took a seat next to the tied up man before waiting to see who exactly this was.

"I don't have any idea," she'd answer, taking the blanket at once and wrapping it around to cover herself, regaining a few shreds of modesty before recalling the confused Togekiss. "It just attacked all of a sudden. I didn't know it was there at all until right as it did." She paused at being asked who she was, overhearing Leslie. Given everything, perhaps the best idea was to let the chips fall where they may. "I'd imagine Breeze and all of you'd be less confused if I still had wings and a beak." --- "Was living here since before Aden was born, if you remember him," Cera answered as she followed everyone out. "You kinda get to know everyone after nearly a couple of decades, so I guess even a slight appearance change doesn't really faze them."

Only, her purification process won't come anywhere close to lethal as mine." Ryan says with a bit of pain in his heart as he recalls Dewdrop.

Before anyone could snag the Shadow Hitmontop even if they wanted to a Great Ball would come out of the forest and smack into the fighting top Pokemon, sucking it into its confines and hitting the ground, shaking only briefly before a Blitzle came running out of the forest to bite down on it and rush to carry it back into the forest.
"A Blitzle! It's the Steel Snatcher!" Sub cried as he gave chase to the Blitzle into the forest.
Should the others pursue they too would see the Blitzle up ahead and beyond it was a man dressed in black running away as well, looking over his shoulder every now and then to see if the Blitzle was following, the man holding a Pokeball in his Snag Machine gloved hand. He must be waiting for the Blitzle to get close enough to recall.
"Don't let that thief get away! He stole Tristen's Blitzle!" He told the others.
