Priscilla Stratford - Galactic Empire - Dark RobesAction: Getting off the Elevator and into the Mos Eisley Cantina Room (If you dare enter, please enjoy this, just because of the reference.)She thought, for a brief moment, that she overheard her companion's voice. The sound was quickly overpowered by the large, ominous and booming voice that reappeared over the speaker system. “Welcome to the Galactic Empire. You have made a very wise decision to fight for the empire against the Rebel Alliance. They are upon us, but I'm certain that they will be crushed, fore they are no match for the power of the Empire.”Rose colored eyes grew wide as the voice continued to explain the situation. Prissy hadn't the faintest idea what all this Galactic Empire and Rebel Alliance nonsense was, but clearly her favoritism with color coordination had turned her towards the Empire's side? Fingers twisted nervously around the handle of the red lightstabber or whatever these things were called. She'd joined Katrina in seeing the newest Star Wars moving, finding Adam Driver delicious to watch (if not a tad bit whiny, she'd admit), but as far as the actual plot and details behind the franchise, she was clueless. To her left, a light appeared. The burst of sight within darkness revealed the ordinary looking museum elevator. It didn't take a genius to figure out that putting the spotlight on the elevator was gesturing for her to get on, but... Glancing around, she looked for any sort of confirmation that others were participating in this crazy event. No one. She was alone and it was getting to be more than slightly creepy. Maybe they were all upstairs? Probably, right? James was probably already up to wherever they were supposed to go, getting his Nerd Party on. That was it, he'd already beaten her to the top or whatever. Pressing the button, she anxiously awaited for the doors to open. As they did, she quickly slipped inside, a sinking feeling growing within the pit of her stomach as the doors slowly closed behind her. She gently pushed the number four and the elevator creaked and moaned as it stirred back to life. As the doors opened, she thought she could feel her heart stop. A jungle gym? This was going to be a physical game? She timidly stepped forward, now practically clutching on to her flimsy weapon. The lights attached to her costume were like beacons begging to be hit - oh no - did this mean someone was going to hit her? Her worried expression turned into a grimace as she stared at the group of Rebel Alliance members gathering on the other side. She actually hoped the young man was on the opposite side, because she had half a mind to wail on him with her red lightstabber just for suggesting this place. Taking a step forward, she slipped inside the nearest doorway. The room was painted oddly, almost as if she were in a bar. Oh, how she wished she was really in a bar! The room was dark, her lights giving away her location. Gripping tightly to her weapon, she decided to wait by the door to see if her little hiding spot would soon be revealed. Thorn Kincaide - Dark Robe - Galactic Empire Level 1, Millennium Falcon
Darkness swallowed up two of the pillars, and Thorn spun around in his new Sith robes, raising his saber in a warding position. The black fabric fanned out around him in a smooth wave, and in the dimmer light of the remaining pillars, he noticed points of red on his costume that he hadn’t seen at first. Neat, but kind of annoying if they were actually going to watch the movies with everyone dressed like this. Okay, so it was a geek gathering, and people were probably going to quote all the lines before they happened, maybe even chant the whole script like a church service. But glowy bits had no place in a cinema! This seemed like an awful lot of props for a movie night.
The voice of the Empire directed him to an elevator, and he headed on in, idly swinging his lightsaber as the doors closed. With no-one to see him, he practiced parries and poses all the way up, slashing and spinning in the enclosed space. They’d given him a costume, so he might as well get in character. He was fascinated by the red-light reflections that danced off his robes and weapon as he moved - he kind of wanted to paint that effect. At first, he didn’t notice the delay in the doors. When he did realise they had stopped, he frowned at the way out, poking his lightsaber at the sealed exit. The organisers seemed pretty serious, with the costumes and voices and everything… so he lifted the saber tip to the top edge of the door and mimed running it down the crack, ‘opening’ it in proper movie-style. Moments later, the voiceover was back, telling him to prep for battle.
When the doors slid open, he strode out with weapon raised, not sure what he was ready for, but ready nonetheless.
It was even better than he’d hoped.
Others in Sith robes and Stormtrooper gear were arriving around him, and across the way, the Enemy was gathering, all armed with colour-coded glows. This wasn’t some half-assed party trick, it was a full-blown battle game! He eyed the jungle gym and its tangle of slides, trying to track what went where, but of course it was a maze. Blasters would want the high ground, but he’d picked the lightsaber. He’d want somewhere with hidey-holes and corners, he decided, to sneak out and stab from. A dark area for his dark soul.
Without waiting to see where the rest of the Empire headed (Sith Lords worked alone!) Darth Thorn parked his butt on the indicated slide, and whooshed down to the levels below to find a place to lurk. It was a long ride, but the end result was sci-fi corridors, some kind of spaceship. Yeah, this would do. He positioned himself in a shadowy corner, crouching out of sight to wait.

(I’m working all tomorrow, so won’t be able to post/respond to attacks until my evening (which is early morning for America, I think?) But I’ll be around more often over the weekend.)

Michael Kidder- Rebel- Light robes and Green Sabre
Right. Creepy elevator, giant adult playground... This was definitely impressive but it also made all the hairs on the back of his neck stand up, and a small voice in his head wonder if he was up for this yet. Oh well.
... Wouldn't know until he tried, and besides maybe he could stop someone in confusion with his StarTrek T-shirt in a pinch.
Also who could say no to an adult side slide this side of a water park. And the chance to flail around a light sabre.

Nailah - Rebel Alliance - Jedi Costume Level: 5
Did everyone go through this? Nailah looked around and smiled. They were certainly going far and beyond what she’d expected, and if everyone that arrived got this same setting that made things interesting didn’t it? Maybe they had multiple entrances and they’d end up all meeting up on another level. When the elevator lite up Nailah, turned in its direction and continued to follow the voice then once inside she pressed the 4th button. That was highly convenient and maybe a little obvious to her. She felt the elevator move up and then stop but the doors didn’t open. Nailah glanced around, was this normal?
Nailah’s eyes grew wide open when the doors finally opened and someone told her to get inside. No way, this was way too cool to be an adult playground! The museum had done an amazing job, usually these types of things were for children and they’d managed to build something for adults. A smile slowly grew on her lips; this was turning out to be one heck of a night! She couldn’t believe it. Her eyes glanced at the opposing team and this time her smile turned sly. Oh things were just getting better and better weren’t they?
Her eyes moved up to all the different floors and the different themes going on. They’d done a lot of work; Nailah briefly wondered how they’d been able to afford something like this. Museums weren’t exactly known for having a bunch of money and usually they spent in on items to expand their collections. Well, whoever had funded this had picked the right team!

Joshua Tristan - Galactic Empire - Stormtrooper Inside the jungle gymThe voice told him to, but on his costume, which he'd done and the door finally opened. There were other's finally, teammates he could tell by the dark robes and even another storm trooper outfit. The other team was on the other side, it was faint, but he could see a tinkle of green and blue lights. Someone in a robe was ushering into him towards the slide and explaining the baster to him. LASER TAG! His excitement just jumped up triple fold. Laser tag in a giant play museum againt the rebel alliance. This was sweet. He didn't need to be told twice, he jumped right into the slide, and hit the ground of the jungle gym running. The first jedi he spotted as soon as he was inside he pointed his blaster and shot before running, not really wanting to have one of his lights blasted off. Lights: 8

Reed - Galactic Empire - Dark RobesLevel 5: Face me Rebel Scum! The breath he released when the elevator doors opened, was immediately stolen by the sight before him. Rebel and alliance colors flooding the area, leaving him stunned by the lengths the Museum must have gone to in order to create such a set up. Levels and slides, an entire themed battle field just for them, a giant playground.
He would have willingly spent hours playing on it alone, admiring the construction, the fact that it was also a lazer tag style battle field? That was the cherry on top.
Grin sharp as he scanned the Death Star scenery, and spotted opposing colors. A Rebel. A Jedi to be precise. "Jedi scum, come and face me!" he shouted across the walkway, drawing his red light saber toy with flare. Lights: 8

Patrick O'Ryan - Light Robe (Jedi)/ Blue Lightsaber - Rebel Alliance Pat didn't even hesitate to hop in the elevator that opened for him when the light went out on the 'dark side' outfits. "And also with you." He said to the voice right before he punched the button for the 4th floor as directed. It didn't take long for the elevator to come to a stop but when the doors didn't open right away Pat felt a flash of foreboding. Swallowing against the worry that was starting to form the redhead pressed the 'open door' button a few times, not really expecting a result. Before he could do anything else though a voice played over the elevator speaker telling him to put on the robe, which he had already done, and after a few more seconds the door opened revealing the epic jungle gym that was the interior of the building. He approached the plexiglass railings to get a better view of the setup, completely unaware of the elevator closing behind him with a quiet swish. He was awed... gobsmacked... excited... The tall redhead was likely the oldest person in the building but right then he was more excited then a five year-old let loose in a toy store. TOTALLY worth taking a night off of work. With a wide smile he jumped in the closet slide and started down with a loud 'WHOOP'. Quote: Pats good for interactions, I've got to head to bed but I will be on tonight while at work, I'll be limited to phone but I will be active-ish baring work interfearing Lights: 8

Michael Kidder- Rebel- Jedi Maybe this hadn't been the best idea. The sound of approaching footsteps at a run nearly made him jump out of his skin, even before he was fired at, whirling to look over his shoulder with wide eyes at his attacker, as though he half expected them to be wielding an actual gun. Still a game. Still harmless, just... laser tag. And he'd brought a sword to a gun fight because it was more fun. Oh well maybe he could get an swing in before his attacker got away. Revenge for Order 66 or... something. Kaori_luv Return fire! An actual hit!! Lights: 8

Joshua Tristan - Galactic Empire - StroomtrooperHiding in the jungle gymJosh hadn't managed to hit the other, but one of the lights on his ammo belt went dark signifying the other had been successful in hitting him back. He groaned and backed into an alcove in the jungle gym trying his best to keep himself out of view. He could see other's entering the battle and they were honestly simple all over, a blur of lights. Jedi's only a give away when they through a shot, lighting there sword up briefly in the process. A tall guy, taller then him for sure entering the jungle gym and Joshua decided to take the shot, before the guy disappeared. Only 5 mins past and this was honestly the best event ever. All out war on May the 4th. Hopefully the galactic empire would stand strong. He needed to keep his 7 lights lit. He quickly got his blaster up and shot at the new comer. Lights: 7

Reed - Galactic Empire - Dark RobesLevel: 5 Cursing as one of his lights went out "You'll pay for that!", growled, all in good natured fun. Truly enjoying the theme of things. After all, a Sith was nothing without a worthy Jedi opponent, especially one that seemed to have decent aim with that saber!
He sought to strike back, hoping to get a hit and watch with sweet satisfaction, one of those little green lights flicker out. Grin alight as he ducked over a railing and charged his opponent, swinging out again. Lights: 7

Tom - Storm Trooper - Galatic EmpireHeading off of the elevator and going straight into battle! In the Death Star lvl. 5Tom kept the costume on, there was really no reason to take it off, except for the fact that he could barely see through it. Maybe that's why stormtroopers were such awful shots? It would explain a lot at least. Getting off of the Elevator he quickly realized that a battle was going on! And then he noticed the lights on everyone else and saw that some of them were no longer on. Uh oh. It was a battle, not one he was prepared for at all, but at least he had a ranged weapon? Looking around he could see that there were other kids who were dressed in rebel and galactic costumes like his, and knew that it was a Rebel vs. Galactic all out battle! He took the blaster into his hand, and was ready to shoot, hoping that he didn't have a limited number of shots and ducked behind what looked like some machinery trying to figure out the best way to go about this battle. Noticing what looked to be like someone in a jedi fight run past, Tom aimed his gun and took a shot, hoping he would get a hit. Lights: 8((if anyone wants to get into a one on one battle with me))

Michael Kidder-Rebel Jedi It was becoming quickly clear that being reactive was probably going to get him kicked out of the game in a hurry, and that would be a bit of a bummer, though there wasn't much he could do about it now, as one of his lights went out under the fire from yet another Storm Trooper. "Are you kidding? DId I just land in the middle of enemy territory?" He snorted, wheeling and swinging at his attacker. Might as well right? Go down fighting and all, even if his swing had a bit more Sith level enthusiasm than Jedi restraint. Lights: 7

Nailah - Rebel Alliance - Jedi CostumeLevel: 5Good! He had missed too thankfully. The little light flickered but didn’t die out and Nailah made a face before focusing on her opponent again. She stuck her hand out and pretended to use the force to throw an imaginary object at him to distract him, there wasn’t anything actually being thrown but she was hoping the distraction was enough. She picked another one of the lights, aimed and swung her sabre towards him again and frowned as she missed another one of his lights. This looked easy but was turning out to be a lot harder than she thought!
“The Jedi way is the only way!” She countered as she waited for his attack.Lights: 8Shiningamisgirl EDIT :: This is actually a miss!!
