Snorting, he kept his head turned away from Melvin, dismissing what he was doing entirely in an attempt to grasp at control.
"If you say so." he said, in his most well tested statement of dismissal..

"Good boy." He said, returning a phrase from their vacation.
Without much else to say, and less on, he slipped atop the bed. It was about time they were even, and today would be a start. If the blonde thought he would be mindful of the bandages, he would only be concerned if he was on his best behavior. If not? Well, hands could slip.

It had been simultaneously what Lawrence needed and absolutely not what Butch needed, the weapon snarling and swearing abuse at Melvin for taking any sort of advantage of Lawrence while he was trying his best to repair his wounded body. He for the first time genuinely wanted to bite the other man.
He sighed and leaned back against the pillow, his breathing still quick, half from pain half from everything else.
"I think you tore something." he said, wincing. "And you could have bought me dinner first." But he didn't look too concerned about it.
"I should tell them about you. You'd get banned from the infirmary." It did really hurt if he was honest. "You should probably send someone in when you leave. To have a look at this."

"I'll have them look at your wounds and just your wounds." He pointed out, faint as he slipped off the bed to fetch the sheet. It was easy enough to return it, flicking it wide open with a flourish before letting it float down and covering him once more.
Satisfied, he took a wash cloth and cleaned off before setting it aside to start getting dressed. He was tempting fate with being in here with Lawr too long.
"I've bought you dinner plenty of times." He pulled up his pants and started to button them again.
"You can tell them all you want. They'll just ask why you didn't push the alarm. Oh.." He leaned down and reached behind the bed, turning the system back on. He'd moved enough of these Infirmary beds to know how to disconnect one.
Standing up, he reached for his shirt.

Lawrence snorted. "You bought Jan dinner. You liked him." he said grimly.
His eyebrows went high though when Melvin brought up the alarm, giving the blonde man a look as if he'd never quite known him before.
"Wow." he said and sighed again, as if he'd dodged some kind of awful bullet. "Have a nice rest of your day Melvin. Maybe see a therapist, I think there is something wrong with you."

He tapped on his shoes before leaning in and kissing him on the lips long and hard. "Sleep tight, you ******** up a*****e." He said, and went to take the basin and all evidence with him.
"Don't mess with the help." He warned and left him to his bed.
