"Eh, not what i'm looking for. It's a cute Pokemon, but not interested." She walks on past the male Nidoran.

Ryan, still running, blows by the Rattata without even a second thought.

((Jezebel encounters a Pokemon))

"A cubone? It's crying i wonder if it hungry." Laying a bowl of sweet and sour berry soup. "I hope you like this, it should make you strong." Leaving the cubone to its meal, she presses on.

Ryan would have to carefully and quietly step his way around the MammaKhan and her baby. It would be bad juju to startle her.

Trish was still trying to figure out where the voice from before had come from when a Scyther presented itself. "Hello!" She sang, suddenly considering giving up on her quest for a Fire-type.

"Idina!" She called, her Fox alighting at her side, dismounting her hovering baton. "You've taken a liking to that, haven't you?" She asked the Fire-type.

"Of course. Who walks anymore?" Idina asked, looking at the mantis before them. "You brought a spellcaster into a sword fight? Smart."

"Cut the sass and use Flame Charge." Trish retorted, pointing at the green bug. Idina shrugged and darted forward, encased in flames.

Scyther used it's Swords Dance to raise it's attack power, it's illusory swords also acting as a pseudo-shield. Idina paused short of them, unsure if they would hurt her yet. "Go, already!" Trish urged. "They won't hurt you but it will!"

"Fine! But if I get a haircut, I'm blaming you!" Idina commented before continuing her attack. Scyther was better prepared this time and countered with an upward slash, claws glowing a sickly green with Fury Cutter. Idina barely dodged the blade, grazing Scyther and winding up hit in the side by the flat side of one of Scyther's blades.

"Careful." Trish called. "Trap it with Fire Spin!" Idina nodded and fired the spiraling flame from the tip of her baton, trapping the mantis Pokemon in place. Or so she thought.

"Scyther!" The Pokemon shouted as it fell from the sky, wings glowing bright and charged with chi even as a white trail flowed behind it, the Quick Attack-turned-Wing Attack grazing across Idina's chest. The Fox was quick enough to evade the majority of the attack, returning with a Psyshock counterstrike at Trish's behest. "Aim for the head!"

Idina conjured her orb of psionic energy, wound up with her baton and lashed out, striking it hard and fast, a line drive straight towards Scyther's head.

"Scy!" It screeched as it's brain was ravaged by the mind-scrambling Psychic attack, not seeing it coming until it was too late to evade.

"Good job! Now, Fire Spin!" Trish ordered.

"I thought we were gonna catch it? Idina asked.

"We are. But kill it first!" Trish ordered once again. Idina shook her head and with a few quick motions, knocked a Great Ball out of Trish's bag and sent it flying toward the Scyther while it struggled.

Ryan stepped past another Nidoran with little thought to it. He was starting to think the list had a couple typos as a cruel joke on him.
