Iorek smiled and nodded to Anya as they moved into the junkyard maze. It really was a place of wonder. Iorek didn't know much about cars or motorcycles but he had the impression from Zeke that this was quite the place.

"I uh....guess so?" Reks added in as the man lightly fawned over a semi intact motorcycle.

He visibly wilted at the end result of their tracking. It looked like it was going to be a pain to shift through. "So I guess we start looking through all this?" Auuugh this could take them forever if luck wasn't on their side. "We just gotta be careful not to get stuck on anything and keep a lookout for anything that could fall."

"Thanks Zeke! Good luck and be careful! Keep your eyes peeled!" Iorek told the man before Zeke headed out to look and see what he could find.

Reks turned back to Anya and smiled gently. He turned his sights back on the rack heap they would have to sort through and huffed. These things were getting trickier and trickier to find. "Hmm....let's try and do the two sides but keep close to one another? That way if anything happens we'll be able to help the other?" Hopefully they would stay safe but after Aadi's fel essence capture obviously these things were capable of leaving a mark if they let their guard down.

Iorek went along his side doing the same inspection as Anya. Every piece of metal he turned over he hoped to see the fel essence but alas no luck so far.

"Hmm....I really hope not." Iorek leaned back from his rack to look over at her for a brief moment and then back at the task at hand.

"I'm hoping that this fel essence is nice and sweet, like that cloud we found." Too bad Aadi wasn't the one to find that fel essence. Iorek wondered if he had caught the lightning fel essence maybe it wouldn't have done as much damage to him. He was made of mostly stone after all...maybe it would have been safer?

Iorek fumbled with a big chunk of a car part as he turned it over but luckily caught it before it fell. "A cute fel essence would be great. Maybe some like..metallic rainbow? I don't know...I just don't want anyone else to get hurt." As he checked the piles he would also keep looking back to see what Anya was doing. If there was an aggressive fel essence hidden around here somewhere, Iorek was prepared to shield Anya from harm.

It was very very soft, but a sort of shuffling sound was heard from within the racks before Anya. Followed by a soft metallic click as something brushed against a screw. To their surprise, the once still needle on the compass began to move as well, turning to follow whatever that is moving among the junk metal on the rack. It wasn't too fast, but it was fast enough that they might have a difficulty getting it among all these junk.

Her amusement grew as she listened to him talk. This was nice, almost as if the pressing and overarching matter at hand didn't exist.

"Who knows, maybe." Anya shook another car part, frowning when she set it down and saw grease on her fingers when she pulled away. The Widow was quiet a moment, then gave a sigh of resignation and moved on to the next one.

"You hardly look the part of an old man." She lofted a brow when she turned her head to look at him, noting the boyish face that topped the otherwise manly physique the Gargoyle had. He was hardly geriatric in any given respect, way, shape, or form. Still, she didn't know much about the other Frei's Guardian(s) and figured 'kids' meant their children. Anya supposed that would make anyone feel old in that case.

When he returned the question she shook her head and then shrugged lightly. "Not too much to say here, I think." She frowned again but this time out of concentration, trying to recall anything of particular note in that moment but falling short of anything that would knock his metaphorical socks off. "Although that's on account of winter being a slow season for me. I don't get out much." She put the words mildly. "I'm hoping to change that now that it's spring, however."

She was about to go on a little ways more - a few airy plans, maybe a hope or two about things she wanted to do during the summer, that sort of thing - but as she went to move the compass along with herself down the wall of auto parts the jump in the needle caught her eye. She grabbed it and held it as steady as she could in her palm, watching the needle move and seem to gain speed.

"Is it...?" The Virus Frei then heard the rustling for herself and the sound answered the question she had almost asked. It most certainly was. Pulling another muffler off the rack she reached into the gloom behind where it sat, feeling, reaching, trying... "Urgh!" But came up with nothing.

"Heh, thanks. As always you're too kind." Even if he looked fairly young he still felt old! Iorek chuckled and peered into the mess and hunks of junk. This was like trying to find a needle in a haystack....augh.

"Well at least it is getting nicer out. If you like to relax in the sun you should come to my place! We have the beach in the backyard and you could sunbathe if you'd like!" Iorek was definitely fond of just laying outside after a good workout and soaking up the rays. The warmth was truly comforting.

As they manhandled the junk around Iorek became hopeful when he saw Anya reaching as far as he could. Fingers crossed they were super close!

He could somewhat see the nut fall even though Anya hadn't reached far enough back to rustle it. "You almost had it!"

Reks quickly joined her on her side and started t to move more junk out of the way so they had a clearer path. "Try again! Maybe you'll catch it!"

Seemingly trying to avoid Anya's grasp, the moving thing began to move towards Iorek's direction. As the sound of it moving against metal seemed louder and clearer on his side rather than on her's. Since Iorek had removed some of the junk on the shelves, he managed to catch a glimpse of something that seemed... semi transparent? Odd.
