The crowd rejoiced at Bad Boy getting a brief comeuppance, happy to see Young refuse to tolerate his s**t. Damn straight he belonged here. Renegade went to lift Bad Boy up by the ears and shove him against the corner. He'd look to hook the Rumble winner's right arm over the top rope and hold Bad Boy's wrist with his left hand. Young would go for an open palm chop to his adversary's chest (right where the snot was). If successful, he'd look to slap Bad Boy across the face with it, and continue the alternating chops and slaps!

Renegade Young was back in control. With his hands on his hips, he smiled and nodded toward the fans with a grin from ear to ear. He sprinted towards the corner to the side of Bad Boy, but didn't stay there long. Renegade ran towards the Rumble winner and went to scrape the bottom of his boot across his face!

Young had already known that it would take a lot more to keep his opponent down, as Bad Boy had proven his toughness over a long career. Renegade just wanted to test the b*****d's pain tolerance and will to carry this match on. With that, the California Kid fell on Bad Boy's stomach and hooked the leg for a cover!

Of course, Bad Boy's pride and veteran experience wouldn't let him go down that easy. Young stood up and sighed, not out of frustration, but that he what winded himself with his own high-octane offense and he needed to slow the pacing, much to his dismay. He had been head-hunting the Rumble winner since this match began, which played into the California Kid's finisher, but he needed to start targeting limbs to weaken Bad Boy. Renegade went to roll his opponent over on his stomach. If he could do that, he would look to bend Bad Boy's arm, putting the heel's hand on his own spine, and stomp him on the extended elbow.

It was now Young's turn to show Bad Boy who belonged in this ring, and it had been for quite sometime. Renegade walked over to Bad Boy slowly, looking to regain some stamina and let his competitor soak in the pain on his arm. Approaching the Rumble winner with murder on his mind, he looked to pick up Bad Boy by his bad arm and move him into the corner. If he could do that without any interruptions, he would look to Irish whip him in the opposing set of turnbuckles.

Facing Bad Boy with his back to the corner, Renegade leaned forward and remained standing by holding the top ropes behind him. He was breathing heavily and looked to grow angrier with his opponent. Young was in control most of this match and wanted to end it now. Not only would a win be nice, but one that was in barely less than ten minutes? Now that would solidify Renegade as a true star. Looking to behead his opponent was the California Kid, running full-steam towards Bad Boy and going for another signature of his, the Corner Yakuza Kick!

Because he wanted to shove his boot across Bad Boy's face and leave it there, his right leg went over the set of ropes to his left. Renegade was lucky to not have stubbed his extended leg on the top turnbuckle, but had the misfortune of getting his leg caught over the rope and having the rough texture of the ropes scrape against his thigh. With his left leg on the mat and his right leg hanging over the top rope, Young had nursed his fresh "rope burn" on his leg and remained in a very awkward and prone position.

Young was not in a position to fight Bad Boy off. He felt his good leg get lifted and put over the adjacent set of ropes, still nursing his leg and catching a breather. Renegade felt he had good cardio, but this was by far the most enthusiastic and passionate he was about a match. He had gone 110% all match and it had taken a chunk out of his cardio. Not to mention that the abuse he had taken on his throat from Bad Boy's dirty tricks took a lot out of him as well. Young sat on the top turnbuckle, leaning back and breathing heavily.
