Cosmos made no effort to lie. She was weakened—severely. Bright red blood contrasted greatly with the pale white of the rest of her outfit—the rest of her. She had no external injuries but the strain on her body was showing already:
A trail of blood dribbled slowly from one ear—and both nostrils.
She did not have the energy to wipe it away, and she did not respond to questions asking if she was okay.
The only thing she did seem to respond to was offers to help her.
She needed help, and she was not so prideful that she would pass on the offer.
Weakly, she nodded when she was presented with energy, or healing, but her body would not allow her to reach out to them. She did not even find words, immediately' she just stared at the same empty spot on the ground with eyes that could not be bothered to rise.
Most of the words around her sounded like static, like a mumbled haze of words with no meaning. She tried to grip to them, to translate them, but it was hard to make sense of anything through the ringing in her ears.
She did not chastise them for celebrating.
She was glad they were alive.
But she was not happy.
For a long moment, she could only nod weakly when she was offered aid, but she was sorting through her mind—pushing her body to every limit she could.
She did not look up when she spoke, voice loud with purpose but soft with fatigue.
She had many questions, but the one she asked first was, "Whose idea was it?"

Sailors Cor Caroli and Porrima- by Elpis (with Cor a bit closer to Cosmos)
Porrima was so sure that she had died when everything faded away and the warmth overtook her.
When she found that she had landed on solid ground next to many other senshi, she was befuddled, too lost to experience any other emotion but confusion. They weren't in the Rift anymore, but where were they? And who was that ethereal beauty in the center of it all?
She gave the crowd a few hazy passes before she finally alighted on someone familiar. "Elpis!" she called out, scuttling over to her mentor. Exhaustion muffled the relief in her voice. "Do you have any idea what's going on? Are we dead? Do you know who that woman is? She's not God, is she?" It was a flurry of dumb questions from a battle-weary mind. Elpis was probably no more likely to know about the situation than Porrima was.
---
Cor Caroli, meanwhile, had been deposited on all fours by the sudden warp. It felt like the inside of his head was an endlessly spinning centrifuge, with all of the rotations per minute and none of the orderly separation. Fortunately for him, he hadn't been deposited too far away from friendlies. "Elpis," he wheezed as he pulled himself to his feet. "Man, what the hell... I need a boost of my own magic right now..." His Super-level magic boosted him and two others, and it just so happened that he had two others around: Elpis and the mysterious lady in the center. (Porrima had not quite registered on his mental radar yet.) Spreading his arms, he mumbled a weary "Force of Will" to provide a boost to himself, Elpis, and the lady.
Quote:
[Cor Caroli] Super Sailor Scout Attack: Force of Will!
Cor Caroli extends both hands outward and says the attack name. He and up to two allies in a 5-foot radius will receive a large boost to their will to fight, allowing them to fight through even very painful injuries. Cor Caroli can choose which allies receive the buff; where he gestures is a good indication, but the actual choice is determined with a thought. The buff lasts 35 seconds and can be used twice per battle.

Bother bother bother! Cor Caroli is also trying to give Elpis a boost.

Sailors Sadachbia and Megrez
Sadachbia practically crumpled when she arrived at the new location. Everything seemed blurry, her entire body was throbbing, and it felt like she would never get enough air. Megrez landed beside her in similarly bad shape. "Megrez," Sadachbia said. "Where are we?"
"No idea," Megrez mumbled, falling onto her behind and looking quite dazed.
"I guess you don't know who the white lady is either?" Sadachbia quickly realized her potential gaffe. "That one. The one in the middle."
"Mmmh... no," Megrez said.
Sadachbia gave an exaggerated grunt of frustration. "I guess this is just a breather before we find out what's really going to kill us in the end, huh?"
"Nah, I don't think so."
"You sound so enthusiastic."
Quote:
Sadachbia and Megrez are open for bothering!
Glitnir, Knight of Mars
Glitnir did not get his answer from the General before being transported away. The sudden shift was jarring, and he was left staring into space for a good five seconds before he realized that his leg wounds hurt like hell again. Groaning, he crumpled to sitting, hoping that the bleeding would stop soon. He found himself somewhat without the wherewithal to care about the new locale; he really wanted to rest and catch his breath first.
Perdita shook her head at Ambrosia, unable to answer the other Chibi's question. She'd never seen this girl before. She was a Senshi, obviously, but somehow she seemed different from the rest. Perdita was not quite sure how, though she had a feeling this mysterious girl was the cause of their being transported to the moon.
Soon they had a name for that face.
Cosmos.
Perdita looked back through her memories in an attempt to determine if she'd ever heard of a Sailor Cosmos before, but she came up blank.
She eyed Chara as he came up beside her. Unlike some of the others, Perdita chose not to draw too close to Cosmos. She seemed tired and in pain. Enough people were already tending to her, and one of them was even offering up their own energy. Perdita thought she would just get in the way if she continued her approach.
But she could answer the question.
“A man named Caedus,” she said. She wondered if she was betraying Caedus's trust and kindness by revealing his involvement, but this Senshi did not seem as if she meant to hurt him.
Perdita could only hope she was right.
“He was captured by the Negaverse a long time ago. He was... a prisoner. But he escaped. He had crystals to absorb energy. With it, he made a portal for us to enter the Negaverse's domain. Some of us... we thought we could make it to Metallia. We thought we could make a difference.”
It seemed a bit stupid to her now.
But they'd not come back empty handed.
“We have starseeds,” she announced, looking around for those the seeds had been entrusted to. “We found them in the barracks. They were keeping a whole stash of them there.”
Valhalla remained knelt by Ganymede’s side as she continued to heave, watching over his shoulder as others slowly found those they cared about. His heart went out to them. Some of them looked much worse than others. Celsus he could barely see among those who must be his friends looking as though he’d gone through hell, covered in blood. He was alive, at least. Unlike so many others.
He caught sight of the eternal (Aegir), nod to him. Valhalla nodded back, noting the dour look on the other’s face and feeling more guilty than before for snapping at him for his proximity to Cosmos as he greeted his friend with the white hair (Thyrmr). Or boyfriend, perhaps? It didn't matter. He didn’t blame the other for being happy, but Valhalla knew he wouldn’t be able to manage feeling happy for a long time after everything they’d witnessed that night. Survivor's guilt was always difficult to endure.
“I’m not sure,” he responded to Gevaudan when he asked how Ganymede was doing. “Not great,” he amended, but what did anyone expect after using so much of her energy. Thankfully, Babylon and others had been able to offer some of their magic to her, but it still wasn’t enough.
It made him feel worse knowing that she probably had this same reaction after having to use her crystal and then save him when Laurelite tried to corrupt him almost a year ago. The incident had put him into a coma for a week, or so he’d been told, but what happened to Ganymede during that time?
Valhalla continued to rub at Ganymede’s back as she calmed, and then watched as she drew in a breath, and then changed back to Paris.
It surprised Valhalla. Paris, who was always so cautious about her identity, must have really pushed herself to the limit to reveal it now, in front of so many… Although, there were significantly fewer than when they’d started.
He drew in and let out a breath as well, standing to his feet and taking hold of Paris’s arm to keep her steady. The power that kept him as Valhalla was released. For him, he wore jeans, a dark green tee-shirt, and sneakers.
“You should sit down and rest,” Chris said to her, wondering how long it would take the others to feel the disappearance of their auras. For him, he hadn’t been able to feel auras anyway, so it made no difference. Either way, it was probably better for him this way. The less energy he exerted, the less that would be seeping from the crack in his starseed.

Sailor Elpis // Ferris // Miss Kitty
Elpis clutched to Lacrimosa when she came ovr, clinging and seeking the physical comfort of knowing her group was alright - and Cybele was equally pulled in close for her to cling to, the Super trying to stifle tears and sobbing as everything washed like a tsunami, and she shivered, breathing.
She'd be spent, has Cor Caroli not come, and she offered Porrima a weary grin that wasn't entirely present.
"All I know is we're... We're in space. Everyonealright?" She asked. She was tired - so very run down, and finally, as if following Ganymede's example, she powered down.
Emily panted, glad for sleeves that covered raw, bloodied and raw skin, and she remained clinging, giving Cor Caroli a look pleading with him to stay as she did, and the albino cat on her shoulders seemed to rumble before Ferris crept to join the group properly, hugging Cyebele and shivering. Ferris eyed Emily wearily, still frightened, but surprised, looking around. Ganymede was powered down... Was it safe?
Well, she would do it anyhow - to distance herself from Sailor Ferris, and soon she was replaced by Trinity McAllen, whom still clung needily as she finally made a long, low keen of stress.
Miss Kitty seemed to frown, shaking her head as she jumped to the ground, rubbing around Lacrimosa and Cybele, Porrima and Cor Caroli in a feline gesture of affection, trying to soothe the entire group with an anxious purr. Things still seemed terrible, and Miss Kitty was not at all happy. Finally, she eyes Cosmos before returning focus to the senshi.
She was [ineeded.
"It will be alright, little ones... For if it is not I'll bite whomever harms you."
Cordoba // Alsafi
This senshi commanded authority. She was bloody and worn and Cordoba had a feeling she might;ve helped them, so when she asked responsibility, Cordoba bowed respectfully, looking up to Cosmos calmly, eyes fladhing.
"An elien, ma'am. He or she or it called themself Caedus." Cordoba frowned, ignoring a 'HA IT ISN'T ME BEING BLAMED!" from Alsafi, and she sighed. "He told us he could help us strike the Negaverse at the core."
She frowned, then motion caught her eye, and she waved to Glitnir, Alsafi rolling her eyes.
"Don't look at me lady, this' the first time I've seen any of you people. Is this really space? Cause I see Earth. If not where the frickle frack are we? I have loot to asses."
Alsafi huffed, and pouted.
This day just kept dragging, and she really wanted to enjoy her newfound shinies, even though she didn't know what they were.
"Oh, yeh, by the way, if that was supposed to be basic, ******** that s**t, find a new method cause they was bloody messy."

Squire Alexandria - (Currently holding a very passed out Harmonia.)
Alexandria decided he hated bright lights. Even if this one felt strangely... pleasant. Alex blinked away the haze before realizing they were no longer in that horrible place. The squire fell to his knees, managing not to drop poor Harmonia on her face in the process. Carefully he set her down on the ground before falling back himself.
Alex brought his hands over his face, scrubbing it before rubbing at his temples. Oddly, he couldn't stop the laugh that tore its way through his through. It was weird to do, laugh, but Alexandria was running off what was left of his adrenaline stores. He looked over at the senshi next to him, wondering how she was fairing, aside from unconscious...
He'd hafta talk to Valhalla and get one of those vials for her.

Goretti, Chibi Super of Glue
Goretti stared blankly at the group of people in the area. He was not the tallest in the crowd, nor was he near the front—but he recognized that there was something different about where they were.
Mostly, of course, that they were no longer surrounded by darkness and Chaos. They were somewhere else—somewehre that felt good, and bright and—was that Earth?
—Was that Aptera? Was that Altair?
Suddenly the where didn't matter; he spotted the two and waved, smile broad on his face even if his brows were knit with worry. He jostled over to them, clothes smelling of smoke and knees scraped, but alive—and in one piece.
And his starseeds were there, and he felt like he could breathe again.
They were out of trouble.
Though he scanned the crowd, looking for any more familiar faces, he was content at least to be near to the two he had teamed up with only a few moments—hours?—ago. Time didn't make sense. But they were either all alive, or all dead, and he felt alive.
"Hey!" he greeted, voice surprisingly hushed despite his enthusiasm.
"Where did that Prince guy go? —Jeez, you guys look exhausted, uh—do you need anything? Can I help?"
Fussing over them was easier than fussing over not being home—or not being on Earth, or not being in bed when he was pretty sure it was past his curfew or—
Oh, man, the list just went on.
So he just focused on them, brows knit with worry but eyes sparkling with hope.

Venice, page of Ganymede.
Unconscious the Page didn't realize they'd been teleported from the rift. he didn't know they were safe, that they weren't going to be ripped apart by hungry youma and vicious officers. He arrived on the ground laying under the Squire of Saturn who had fallen atop of him right before they'd been teleported out. They'd fallen, one into the other, and down the Rift's ground they'd landed and then had been gone. Now here Venice was like Erebus in that he didn't move, didn't twitch. He was breathing but also bleeding by a wound across his stomach that was hidden by the body atop his own.
((Unconscious boys are unconscious, peeps are free to find them
Maia had stayed with her brother who chose the worst moment to be a bleeding heart want to make sure all the injured got out of the burning barracks, as well as all of there lot. She understood though, he took his job a little too seriously and he'd likely not be able to sleep at night if he just walked away while people died.
She and her brother ran into absolute Chaos with a dragon battle ensuing in front of the portal. It was too much and was looking at her brother eye wide and frantic. Honestly they didn't know where to start, but not to much later they were glowing and they were on the moon with the other standing in front of Cosmos, who looked like she'd had a lot taken out of her.
She looked to her brother, but he was already pulling out bandages, gauze, iodine and other things he'd grabbed from the barracks to treat the injured. She moved towards Cosmos who looked like she could use a boost and she unless, she noticed most there, had plenty of energy to offer.
She approached her in time to here the chibi from the barracks mention Caedus and the crystal. She remembered it and pulled it out from where she'd kept it safe. "She's right," she said holding it out in her gloved hand and watching it glow, "its working now." She didn't think it was a good idea for Cosmos to get hold of it because she didn't seem to have energy to spare so she tucked it back away. The comment on starseeds seemed more important maybe anyway.
"I can give you a boost further," she whispered moving to give Cosmos some energy. "I have plenty to spare."
She hadn't fought much, really at all or used any magic so she just had a lot to spare.
Shang moved around with supplies in hand asking if anyone needed medical treatment. He could offer stitched and bandaging and splinting to the best of his ability with what supplies he had.
It was Elpis, Lacrimosa, Cybele,Miss Kitty, Porrima and Cor Caroli he ended up in front off. "Are you all alright? I'm a doctor and I can patch up anyone that needs medical attention?"

Sailor Lacrimosa
When Elpis clung, Lacrimosa held her close, a hand rubbing at her back a moment. She was careful, knowing she was injured, and wished she had the ability to help with her wounds some how. Not that she knew how cherry blossoms would be able to do such a thing.
When Cybele came close, apologizing for some reason, Lacrimosa didn't hesitate to pull her and Ferris closer as well. Everyone needed touch and comfort it seemed. When Ferris and Elpis were replaced by civilians there was a small flurry of cherry blossoms as Lacrimosa was replaced by Melody Klein, who still held her friends close.
"Aside from a new side piercing and miscellaneous wounds, I should be okay. How about the rest of you?" Was there anything she could try to do for any of them?
Cosmos was ignored for now. Though someone else seemed to be speaking to her group as well? Brown eyes looked up curiously to the senshi and she smiled.
"I should be okay, it'll scar but I'm in no danger. My friends may need it more then I, however~"

Enif had almost wondered if, maybe, he hadn't heard her and almost went to repeat her question when he'd replied. That was good, she'd been struggling with actually repeating herself. This whole thing had worn her down so bad.
She could only hope Cas and Adria were okay, especially considering they'd had starseeds in hand.
"I... um. I should, maybe, but I'm no good in helping others. Especially not right now." Not with so many dead or nearing death. Such terrible injuries. "Also you were the closest so I thought I would make sure you were okay too."
She knew she wasn't. Had known being a senshi wasn't a game but that massacre she'd been a part of had been... She hadn't been ready for any of that. Death was not something she'd been ready to see not when she wasn't over the death of her own mother.
Idly she wondered if her birth father and his family would allow her to stay the night...
As he gazed back to the Earth she turned to look at it as well, wondering what was happening back where she belonged. Did she even belong there any more?
"I guess I'll leave you be then." He seemed to want time to himself and she was willing to leave him to it.

Hugbell feeding Cosmos energy.
There was a soft smile to Thyrmr, "I wasn't trying to reprimand, simply ask for a little more care. Everyone's wounded, I don't want anyone hurt worse, and I mean look at poor Cosmos." She said her voice lowered, "She looks like a china doll, ready to break at the wrong touch. I don't think we have enough glue to fix her if that were to happen."
There was a pause though she realized Thyrmr was really shaken up and she placed a hand on his arm, "Shh, it's okay; a lot of us have been through a lot. You're still here, that's the important part. A lot of us are still here."
She paused when Kairatos spoke, "Ah-ha... I was apparently one of the luckier ones. I stayed the hell away from the dragon as much as I could." A stuffed bear popped out of subspace, he was a bit more worse for wear, since she hadn't powered down to repair him. "Barnaby might've taken some of those scales. I was busy trying to keep some of the smaller youma off me." Her hood and fuku provided at least some protection and concealment of bruises she had, though it still had splatters here and there of blood. "I tried to keep him in subspace as much as I could though."
Since she had the stuffed bear out, she quickly tied the ribbon around his neck, and brought him to life and ushered him to Thyrmr, whom Barnaby promptly hugged and looked up. Despite the batternedness of the stuffed toy, it was still able to function. Giving Hugbell some relief.
Sabine's question drew her gaze, "Cosmos, I'm sure of it. She managed to pull us here."
Hugbell took Cosmos' hand softly the moment the other nodded. It took the senshi of comfort a moment but she managed to at least what she hoped was helping Cosmos by transferring energy, she could feel the energy leaving her at the very least.
When Cosmos spoke though, it startled Hugbell, a senshi she didn't know Cor Caroli was helping Cosmos, when Predita spoke up, "Yes, he said his name that we could call him by was Caedus, like she said a majority of us thought, if we could manage to stop the negaverse, or well take out the queen bee so to speak, that maybe the hive would be less of a threat."
She paused, "We were, obviously illy equipped when they realized we were there." There was no excuses at this point. She smiled at Maia when the senshi also was able to offer energy to Cosmos, thankfully someone that was perhaps more skilled at this than she was.

Niflhel
Niflhel hadn't expected to land on the moon and when he did, he looked around honeybrown eyes glazed over at the earth hanging in the sky. "Thank Cosmos. . . " He murrmurred, not realizing that the woman had actually saved them until he looked over and saw her being tending to by others. He sighed and looked around, "Anyone seen a cat named Snowball?" He asked looking around the moon worried for the guardian.
Snowball
Snowball had ended up on the other end of the court yard, sitting looking dazed and confused, he wasn't sure where to go or what to do. He didn't have much to offer in the way of help, and there he was sitting as a human picking scales from his mass of hair, frowning. "Not sure it matters who idea it was, it turned out to be a huge mess. . . " He murrmurred in response to Cosmos' question, "and a damned bad idea at that."
Clearly this was why you don't take candy from strangers. Snowball sighed and finally stood up once he'd had his bearings and moved to check on those nearest to him.
Quote:
Niflhel and Snowball are open for interactions, they're on opposite sides of the court yard for the moment.
Halley
Halley had managed to calm down a little, though she still sat breathing heavy and clutching the starseeds she'd managed to carry out. There was a woman demanding to know who's idea it was. The senshi of superstition was still to terrified though to move.

Odainsaker
The cosmos of page had been deposited on the courtyard of the moon, unceremoniously discombobulated. She was in pain, and her stomach burned from where claws had dug into them. Her outfit was of no assistance. "Where's a priest when you need 'em." She muttered, she ached all over, and well. . . horrible things were horrible and this was solidly no longer any sort of larping game, that didn't mean she couldn't make the references, as she sat up and winced in pain. "ooww..."
Cosmos the one that saved them, went unregistered.
Being whisked through space was a pleasantly reassuring sensation, despite the feeling of emptiness and nausea that came from it. But the bright white of the moon and the soothing presence of Earth—their Earth, visible in the sky, was enough to calm Newgrange's nerves.
Mostly, at least.
He'd prefer the moon over Negaspace any day.
He landed on his feet, but he wasn't sure how long he was going to stay on them.
The pain radiating from his arm was enough to blur at the corner of his vision. His eyelids drooped and he held his arm out awkwardly, as if he were afraid that trying to bend it was only going to result in doing more damage.
He was right, for what it was worth; his arm was blistered and crisped from just a little below his elbow up to where his skin was hidden beneath the flesh of his sleeve. It was reactionary that he wanted to reach over to his arm—to touch it to make sure it was still there. As though the contact would soothe the pain. But he wasn't so stupid.
He knew he probably needed some sort of medical treatment, but he didn't ask for help. He could manage when he got home. Probably. It just hurt, a lot. He wanted to sit down but used his strength to stay upright. Though they were no longer in battle, he still had adrenaline to keep him going.
His curiosity was strong enough to keep him alert, as he listened to the conversations going on around him—and there was more than enough to see here. He had never been to the moon, and he wasn't going to waste this opportunity.
He did not try to speak to Cosmos; he did not know her and had nothing to say that he knew others wouldn't already say, better than he ever could.
Adria, Senshi of Sunsets
While Adria had been wishing he could be home, just being 'out of Negaspace' was good enough for him. He was tired, and he hadn't even been that hurt. He was weighed down by starseeds; when he'd first collected them they hadn't felt heavy, but now his whole body was on fire.
Given what they'd just been through, he had to check—twice—to make sure he wasn't actually on fire.
Being teleported through space was enough to turn his stomach upside down, but Adria was shameless and sat down to try and regain his wits. There was no point in trying to play tough; his head was spinning and if he was going to black out, he'd rather do it while he was closer to the ground. He didn't figure anyone would notice; he was good into slipping into the background, and right now his mind was racing too quickly for him to be so preoccupied with appearances.
His forehead stung, but that seemed to be the worst injury he had; the dragon's scale had struck him, hard enough to throw him off balance and draw blood. His left eye was sealed shut with the blood, partially because of the way it stung his eye and partly because it was starting to crust over and he didn't have the energy to deal with that. It wasn't a threatening injury, just something that was visible evidence that he had been at the battle.
Or was just particularly clumsy.
Both happened to be true. With his one good eye, he tried to skim the crowd to find familiar faces—to find his group, that he'd been separated from very early on. When he did not immediately find them, he began to get frantic; his heart was pounding more now than when it had been when there was a dragon.
The Moon was pretty. The Moon made him feel good, and safe.
But that didn't mean anything if all his friends were dead.
He tried to sit up straighter—even tried to stand—but his body betrayed him and he just wound up a heap on the ground, frantically trying to even his breathing so he didn't hyperventilate while he scanned the crowd for any familiar face, familiar outfit, familiar anything.

Once the delight of being alive had worn off, Centisima’s body started to remind him of every ache and pain. His head was throbbing, his chest ached, he had apparently jarred his elbow at some point and hadn’t even realized it.
With a frown Centisima angled himself up onto his elbows and looked around. There was some lady collapsed over there that everyone was fussing over, a few vaguely familiar faces and ah good, the knight he’d met in the ruins (Scholomance) was alive apparently. He was glad he was okay and was surrounded by friends.
Speaking of friends… Centisima couldn’t help but feel a strange spark of jealousy as people embraced and cried and were generally just desperately excited to see each other alive. He wished Sedna was here. Would sending a message work? He wasn’t sure but he flopped back and grabbed the phone out anyway, sending off a quick message.
[ still alive! ]
Message sent, he rolled over onto his side with a soft grunt of pain to check out his closest companion, a fairly beat up looking knight (Glitnir) who also didn’t seem to be in any hurry to get up. "Yo, need some help? You’re not going to die are you?"
Sami-Fire
I don't think anyone has interacted with Glitnir yet! Hope you don't mind. c:
Thankfulness accurately describes Altair's feelings about being given Goretti's hopeful concern, really. She gave Goretti as bright a smile as she could, full of nothing but gratitude in reaction towards him as her words failed her yet again. But she couldn't help but drop her trembling smile as her gaze began to make another sweep of the new place they had arrived at. The tears that threatened to fall again did just that as she attempted a step in Aptera's direction. The page had lost blood when attacked and she wanted to offer her help. But her footing failed her as well. Her knees buckled and her she was now, having fallen to a seated position as her tears dropped to the floor before her. She sobbed openly, unable to contain her emotions then. But after a few moments, her effort to get herself under control again started paying off and her sobs gradually became outnumbered by her whimpering as she had yet to stop her crying.
Castor Page Aptera
Sounds were gradually becoming clearer. And the first sounds Aptera had been able to comprehend again were the words spoken by Goretti upon recognizing his voice. And then, there were the sounds of Altair crying, it sounded like her anyway. The tearful sounds brought to mind her cousin's crying form and she wondered if Elysha had come to realize that she may not be getting home tonight. She hoped her cousin was safe at home. It would surely be difficult to explain the wound at her waist to Elysha. And that was an understatement.
But it sounded like Prince Castor had not arrived here with them. Or, was he here and just separate from them? Otherwise, he was either captured or dead. And Aptera refused to believe the latter.
Her own form trembled more and her face had been turned to hide it. She was perhaps crying in silence, endeavoring again with more effort to sit up, or both.
Then when she shifted to look to her side again it was confirmed that she had been crying despite having swiped a hand at the tears on her cheeks before she had changed the angle of her head then. Elysha was usually the person she cried with on such an infrequent occurrence on the whole that it was for her to cry at all, but considering the circumstances they underwent, it wasn't so surprising to her that she had failed in resisting her own tears now.
She began busying herself with pulling out the first aid kit she had taken from the barracks and carried in her pocket in between her slight winces in pain while proceeding with the task. After managing to open it and take out a slim stack of gauze sheets and folded strips of multiple band aids, she voiced her request, "Goretti, would you please help me figure out the extent of my injury?" Aptera wanted to get an idea of how deep the wound went and how long it was. Hopefully, it was just one cut and not multiple, but she especially hoped it wasn't extremely serious.
