The ecstatic girl whom Gar had come to know as Crop drug Adriane elsewhere into the crowed in order to escape the now declining situation.Gar's beautiful purple eyes watched as they went until they were out of his line of sight. A few moments would pass before everything started returning to its former state....that half breed....why was she so eager to know?Of course she had given her reasons for wanting to know but in all reality...things like that really werent for her to know....yet she went out of her way to ask...Gar couldnt get her angle....at least not yet... Gar sighed as he adjusted the duffel bag over his shoulder which only seemed to get heavier as the day drew on.His attention now focused on Maru who was leaning against the wall. She had stayed quiet for the most part while things panned out though Gar could tell she was on cool down. Her gaze seemed to switch between Saiph and himself. "At least that's over for now." the neko stated with little enthusiasm... She then began to apologize,it was probably more directed to Saiph rather then him. "I just...I can't stand it when people do s**t like that." Gar's purple orbs slid to the ground for a second and then to the right corner of his eyes. "You shouldn't be...maybe that girl will take it as a lesson in social consideration..."Gar believed in redemption....and second chances....whether that girl would make good on such an opportunity when it arose was her decision. Maru motioned back into the crowed and Gar followed behind her at two arms length in order to give her some deserved space. In all those romance novels Gar loved the lady always wanted a knight in shining armor to come save them,in this situation...Maru was like some kind of bad ass warrior princess with one hell of a temper and oddly enough she managed to save his semi pathetic arse. Saiph soon approached Maru before speaking. ""Hey kid....Time to go? Wait for snacks?" Gar tried to make subtle glances at Saiph's face, mainly her eyes but they were shielded by the glare on her glasses,so instead he somewhat stared at her horns while awaiting Maru's answer. Snacks actually sounded delightful....especially since Gars stomach was on empty after the boat trip, then again moving the tour along would help dissipate the tension in the air here. All in all it really wasnt his choice. Gar shifted his head here and there, taking in some of the other students who were participating in idle chatter.Though he noticed Ms. Turrant still speaking with that blind girl...Gar was debating on introducing himself to the girl...but ultimately decided against it for now especially with the scene that had just transpired. In due time he supposed....though he was rather curious how someone with a handicap like hers ended up in such a school for gifted individuals....and in all reality,Gar was hesitant to find out....what if she was actually really powerful and just hid it under that semi innocent charm of hers? Gar quirked a brow at the thought as he placed his free hand into his coat pocket.

 Maru Kiryu
Maru looked to Saiph who was now asking the girl if she should wait for snacks or continue onwards. Maru could already smell the prepared snacks that were likely prepared for the tour anyways. Her eyes turned back to Gardenia however who was still talking to the blind girl. Maru sat there thinking for a moment before making an executive decision. "I'll grab the snacks, I think they're done. She said with a nod of her head. She knew Saiph wasn't allowed in the kitchen and Maru had taken Gardenia's class before so she knew generally where the woman sat down foods that were ready. Maru was just hoping there would be enough of them to go around for everyone.
The neko stepped into the kitchen to see nothing more then walls of crêpes all of varying flavors. "Oh my flavors..." Maru muttered before grabbing a table and dragging it out into the hallway. She then ran back in and started placing crêpe after crêpe onto it. As she was she watched Gardenia turn her head to look at her and give her sort of a thankful nod. The catgirl smiled back and then stepped over to stand back in line with Gar. She had done the work of grabbing them all but was expecting Saiph to get everyone's attention about it all. She could tell some of the students were still looking about and investigating a few of the other rooms to see if they liked what they saw. Maru was sure that most people would like what they saw, but that wasn't always the case.
Maru grabbed herself a crêpe however before looking over to Gar who still seemed to be pretty hungry. "Feel free to grab one. They're always free if they come from the student kitchen which is nice. I usually try and find which ones are made by Gardenia though, given all of these today were made by her." Maru stated with a smile on her face. The neko then went to eating the one she had grabbed for herself. It was a bacon maple one and those were her favorite. The way Gardenia made them made them just perfect. Maru could eat these probably for days and never really get tired of them. If she was looking to lose weight however eating nothing but crêpes was likely a very bad idea.
As Maru ate she turned her head back to look to Crop and that Adriane girl. Maru had calmed down and was no longer mad so now she was just sort of curious. She was hoenstly expecting Crop to start a fight since that was how she worked but instead the girl with duo toned hair was chatting with her. Crop was generally a good judge of character so for the moment she wondered what the girl saw in Adriane. Either way Maru turned her attention back to Saiph and Gar and went to enjoying her snack of the morning.
 Gardenia Velora-Turrant
Gardenia gave a sigh and a small shake of her head as the girl spoke, this girl was really looking to just not do anything that might put her out there. "Do not be so afraid. You will not slow me down and you are no bother. I have lived a life with a woman who blows up the kitchen all the time. With that said you will not end being extra work...trust me. I will be able to accommodate you with the greatest of ease." Gardenia told the girl with a smile and a gentle nod of the head. "However...it is your choice. Please think on it." She told the girl before turning her head to look back to Saiph and Maru who had kindly brought out the snacks for everyone. "Would you like a snack though? If so they are at the front on a table. You are capable enough to get one yourself." Gardenia said before stepping forward.
Gardenia lowered her barrier and once more started passing through students again to get to her classroom. Gardenia still had to set up everything for later. She bypassed the students before giving Saiph a kiss on the lips and a big smile. "You know how to sell them dear." She said with a giggle before she made her way back into the kitchen. Gardenia meanly though put a lot of sway into her hips just to pester Saiph. Her giggle could even be heard as she entered the kitchen. She had been somewhat evil and she liked that. She was sure she had gotten her wife's attention which was the intended purpose anyways. Gardenia just worked like that sometimes.
The French woman once back inside her kitchen went to preparing things for her class as school would start tomorrow. She had to make sure everything was clean and that the kitchen was in prime condition for cooking. As she was preparing everything she was getting help from a small two-tailed cat. The cat was running around making sure that if there was a single dirty spot that she would meow at it really loudly to get Gardenia's attention. This was definitely her little kitchen helper on the first day of the year as there were some things that Gardenia would just end up overlooking.
 Crop Rider
Crop was all smiles at the moment just listening to the girl talk. It was true Crop had somewhat mastered the ways of being an a** by covering it up or beating people up it was how she worked. Of course Crop tried her best to not be an a** as no one really liked one of those. Crop tended to beat up people who were asses as she hated to even have to think about them. People who picked on other people generally annoyed the girl and with that said she generally made sure that those people didn't reproduce anymore. Some people just needed to catch the painful side of her boot every now and then. "Ain't like no one wants ta be an a** though." Crop added to the girl's statement. She was sure no one wanted to be seen as an a** unless, strangely enough, that was in fact their goal.
The girl was now however saying that if they got along well enough that she might get to meet her mom. She then however worried that Crop was a vegetarian which just got her to smile even broader. "Nah, ya ain't invitin' a damned vegan. You may or may not know it but I'll eat jus' about anythin'. I love all sort'sa meats...or food in general. To be honest I'm always hungry and never full. 'S a problem." She said with a laugh before giving a small shrug. "Also, ya ain't gotta worry 'bout yer mother comin' off as weird. My mom takes that cake an' ********' runs with it. She's pretty excitable. Maybe if we get to be friends you can come on over an' have one of her famous "Whip ya into shape," burgers. They're ********' massive." Crop said with a giggle. She wasn't lying either. That thing was a beast of a burger.
Crop caught Maru's eyes and she smiled and gave a small wave to her before looking back to Adriane. "The kitty is on the prowl today." Crop said with a small laugh. "She ain't normally this confrontational, but...girl may have woken up on 'er tail or somethin'." Crop stated before giving a shake of her head. "Aside from an angry kitty I got a better topic for ya." Crop said before turning her head from one side to the next.
The pink side of Crop's hair which was sliced neatly down the center was short and only came to about the shoulder. She then showed the purple side of her hair which was long and literally touched the floor with it's length. Her hair was definitely different that much could be said. "My hair is naturally these two colors. That's bitchin' right? Ya oughta see my mom. She's got some kickass pink hair 'erself." Crop smiled to the girl. "Ya can touch my hair if ya want. It's really soft. Both sides." She said with a smile. "Is yer hair naturally pink as well? If so, if ya put yer hair an' that boy's hair together you'd get mine." Crop said with a smile. She liked making these simple observations as it was strangely kind of fun to her. Later she'd have to ask more awkward questions when she got to know the girl. Like...her favorite panty color, her bra size, and if she would ever want to rule the world.
Crop did give a sniff of the air however and she turned her head to the snacks. "Oh s**t, she brought out somethin' tasty smellin'." Crop said in an energetic tone. "Ya wanna go grab somethin' to snack on? I'm starvin'." She said as she held her hand out to the girl. "Come on, le's go." She was basically hopping in place which caused every aspect of the girl to bounce. She was hungry and she was ready to grab a bite to eat with a potential new friend. The two hadn't settled on the word as of yet though so they were still just two young acquaintances.

Saiph waited for Maru to decide what she wanted to do but as she did she was also well aware of Gar's eyes. Her antlers were white much like a deer's or an elk's but they were much sharper than either. In a sense it would be like looking at some multi-pronged weapon that was meant solely for goring people. They were, however, a lot sturdier than given credit for-- her antlers could hold more than the weight of a car without cracking or bending or anything. That said, they were a pain in the a** to trim and over the summer or things where she didn't need them trimmed she simply let them grow out like the weeds they were. Still, she could tell Gar was hungry and she knew Crop was always hungry much like herself and with that she could infer at least a few other students were hungry hence why she'd mentioned snacks in the first place. They'd be doing a lot of walking and doing so while hungry was no fun and made it hard to pay attention.
It only took Maru a moment before she said she'd grab the snacks out of the kitchen. She'd taken Gardenia's class before and knew her way around the kitchen--she also knew Saiph was not allowed in there under any circumstances at least--not without vast amounts of super vision from Gardenia herself. She couldn't grab the snacks even if she wanted to per rules of the kitchen--hell, of the school itself as a whole. However, when Maru left, her shadow twitched....it wasn't perfectly in line with her. It was doing something else. To be precise while Saiph was looking out over the crowd like Gar, her shadow was looking back towards the kitchen after Maru...following her as she set up the table and then went back in. She could hear the cat though and when the first tray was lifted Saiph cleared her throat a bit. "If anyone is hungry, the lovely Mrs Turrant has made us some fantastic and delicious goodies to eat so you are better able to concentrate and have energy for the tour until it's actual meal time" She said in her loud rather commanding tone. It would be hard to ignore her and that said she'd gotten the students' attention with ease.
"Likewise..." She said as the students started coming closer again to check out the snacks. "If you are interested in taking a class--cooking, dancing, gardening, music, singing, theater and so on... there are sign up sheets outside of the classroom doors that you can put your name on" She mentioned as she gestured to a few older students who had come in (not part of the tour) and were signing up for dance. This process was the case for all of the optional classes around the school. The older students already knew this and that's what they spent their first day doing--signing up ), getting their dorms and keys to their room and all the stuff the new students would be doing here shortly. "If anyone is interested in signing up for the classes that are in the closed building, their sign up sheets are actually in the cafeteria for the moment so don't worry about that. We'll get there shortly. As for the classes on the lower floors, feel free to run down and sign up now.... while we're on break" She mentioned as a line was forming for the snacks. Most people got full off of two crêpes at most but there were certainly plenty to go around. Gardenia made enough for every student to take two even if that wasn't the case (which it never was).
In the meanwhile, Saiph grabbed a banana-strawberry-nutella crêpe and munched away. There were so many flavors available and hey were each so good it would be almost sad if a student chose not to eat one. They were missing out for sure. Of course Saiph's attention was now on Gardenia who gave her an affectionate kiss and told her she knew how to sell them. Really, the smell of them made the crêpes sell themselves. No selling on Saiph's half required. Still, as she lowered her gaze to meet her wife's her eyes could be seen--since she was obviously Japanese most expected the dark brown almond shaped eyes and while the shape was there and indeed almond shaped, her eyes were actually a hard light blue that nearly glowed it seemed. It was also pretty obvious what she was watching as Gardenia walked away--the sway in the French woman's hips as she walked and giggled knowing that her wife was watching. The demon was focused and pretty intent on what she was staring at....at least until it was gone and back in the kitchen from whence it came.
"Evil woman" Saiph muttered as she sipped her coffee. She wasn't aware but while she'd been watching Gardenia, her shadow had not been. Her shadow was more focused on watching Crop and that Adriane girl approach. Then again, that wasn't concerning to Saiph or to those who knew what resided in her shadow. To those who weren't aware however, it could be pretty...bizarre. That wasn't the only odd thing though. From the kitchen a meow could be heard--a very distressed meow about some dirty spot that had been left. Its origin was from a small, black, two tailed cat with orange eyes (or, ancestral eyes as the Japanese would call it). It was actually Saiph's cat, a nekomata by the name of Kiki who was indeed, Gardenia's little helper as she helped find dirty spots in the kitchen and helped decide on organizing as well
それは戦いの価値がない場合は何も価値がない ℋ𝒶𝓎𝒶𝓂𝒾 ℋ𝒾𝓈𝒶𝓀𝒶𝓌𝒶
Hayami was staring down as she listened to Gardenia. She told her not to be so afraid but--Hayami had lived in fear for years. She had been told she couldn't do so many things, she had been made and conditioned to feel helpless about so many things. Gardenia was very literally the first person who told her she could do something other than the basics....the first person who believed she could and even gave an example showing that she could. She'd been blind herself after all and had apparently had other blind students--ones who likely had more....support around them. Still, Gardenia insisted that Hayami would not slow her class down and would not be extra work. She promised she could accommodate with ease and Hayami wanted to believe her but all those years kept her from fully doing so. She couldn't help it.
Even so, the girl was close to tears...she wanted to thank the woman but she couldn't find her voice. Even when she opened her mouth a bit she could only manage a whisper. "Thank you" she said with a swallow before she was told about the snacks that were on the table. Luckily, she was trusted enough to get one on her own instead of being led around like that annoying girl had done earlier. Gardenia left and Hayami remained looking down thinking. She had heard what Saiph had said and she felt maybe she could try....she should try. If this teacher was telling the truth-- which Hayami got the distinct impression that she was--then maybe this could work. It would be nice to have someone who understood what it was like to be blind and to have someone who hadn't been told no, they couldn't. It seemed as if Gardenia had actually been told she could do whatever she wanted even if she was blind and maybe, here, Hayami could get that same sort of support.
Although, she was still feeling a bit shy about it all especially since a crowd was gathering around the table not too far from her. She waited a little before she came over with her cane until it hit the table. She moved accordingly to not run into it and to face it. She gave a click with her mouth and after a few seconds she reached for the little spatula and her hand found a plate as well. Her cane was now looped around the wrist of the hand holding the plate while she gave another click and a few sniffs until she found the smell of a crêpe she liked--broccoli and cheese. She put it on the plate and found herself a fork to eat it with before she continued walking...filing through the line but instead of dispersing like the other students, she went to the door of the kitchen and found the clipboard with the hanging pen. Crêpe plate (with the fork on it) in one hand and pen in the other, she felt out where other people had signed their name and wrote hers under it.
This was possibly the bravest thing she had ever done and while it made her feel good it also sort of made her feel like she was going to throw up. She felt what other sort of information was there and felt what she guessed to be a phone number.... likely cell phone since that's generally what everyone put and it made sense so the students would know what classes they'd actually be in or would be wait-listed for. Still, she wrote her number down. She had a special phone that read her text messages aloud and had braille on the keys so she could dial. It also let her dictate return text messages although it did little else but that was just fine with Hayami. She was however, sort of hoping maybe she'd get the chance to talk to Mrs Turrant again--she would like some private lessons or at least time to get to know the kitchen, get set up and that sort of thing so she didn't take up class time with that. She still knew that she would take longer than other students to do that sort of thing--at least for now. Maybe that wouldn't always be the case.
Being near the kitchen though, she heard the meows of a cat and heard Gardenia speaking to it--not like one usually did with their cat either but as if it were...human. Hayami smiled to this though, she liked animals--they didn't judge, they didn't tell you you couldn't do something. They just loved you and supported you. She had wanted to get a guide animal for a while but had never been in a home long enough to make it happen and likewise, couldn't afford to pay for one on her own. This was especially true since she didn't want the typical dog. She wanted a guide miniature horse--they were less aggressive than dogs, didn't have desires to chase things like squirrels or cars, and over all would be less expensive since they could work for 30 years or more instead of only 8 at most. She knew they ate more, went to the bathroom more, and weren't as small so things like flying or movies would be a bit harder but--she didn't do either of those things anyways. Horses were smarter, had better vision, and were herd animals anyways so they naturally accommodated to keep pace with others and protected them from objects like...review mirrors on tall cars. Plus--horses were insanely protective. Their kick would do more damage than a dog bite any day although it was less likely to happen on accident or for no good reason like with a dog.
For now, she would have to settle with her cane though and likewise, sat on the ground against the wall to eat a bit.... perhaps she would venture further and sign up for singing as well and maybe even dance! She'd wanted to be a dancer when she was little although for that she'd want to maybe actually get private lessons if at all possible. This was more true because she didn't really want to perform with a group--she wanted it to feel good about her body, to be able to express herself in a non-verbal way, to exercise and to be able to do something beautiful even if she couldn't see it. She knew it would take a lot of body awareness and courage and practice but she felt it would be good for her and maybe it would even help her but....she would definitely want private lessons which meant, she'd have to talk to Saiph here shortly about that. Hopefully she could provide and accommodate since dance was indeed, extremely visual.
Essentially she would be honing her skills--physical ones with dance and sensual ones with cooking and hopefully if it worked out, she wouldn't be so sad about being blind anymore because maybe, it wouldn't be a problem. She had been a bit inspired by Gardenia... she wanted so much to believe she could do it and be supported in that. A little push and a bit of support and understanding was all she really needed. It was what she'd been lacking for so long. She'd taken her first step.... and that was the start....but she'd need more to keep her from backing out.

Adrian Berner Adrian nodded when Crop mentioned that nobody wanted to be an a**. It had never really been her intention, though as Crop continued she was glad to hear that Crop wouldn't be offended by her snacks. In fact when Crop admitted she was always hungry and that it was a problem she said, ''It's probably better, being full causes bloat... and bloat sucks more than being hungry.'' Although hearing about a massive burger did pique her interest. It sounded good by the excited tone Crop used talking about it and made her hungry. However before she could say anything Crop was waving back at the Cat girl, Adriane stifled doing the same, thinking it might make the girl on edge again. Sort of like waving to a rival and making them mad on purpose, although she didn't see the girl as such it was still a bit early... Crop said something about her not being that confrontational normally but Adriane knew that she brought that out in people sometimes so she didn't say anything about it. Instead she listened as Crop told her about having two toned hair.
''B*tchin'...'' Adriane breathed, she'd admired the girls hair as they talked and did touch her hair a bit but not too much as she was apt to do. Her hair was very soft and silky, unlike Adriane's puffy curls. ''No, my hair's not this color normally...'' she parted her hair a bit so that Crop could see the silver root color, ''I'm actually an old woman in disguise. Or kissed by moonlight, as my Mom says, but that's a bit dumb.''
The snacks came out and Adriane was interested. Crop hopping with excitement, which made her hair bounce along with the rest of her which made Adriane smile. She followed Crop saying, ''I brought a snack but I suppose it'll be good later. Have you ever had seal? It's something that I grew up with. That and the minimum leeching.'' She sucked in her cheeks to make the fish face afterwards and giggled. It was probably inappropriate again to make light of it but she couldn't help the way she saw it. When they reached the table though she had to hold her sleeve to her mouth, there were so many kinds and all of them looked delicious. She looked at them for a bit longer than usual and her hand hovered for a minute over her mouth before she picked a creme with fresh strawberries that turned out to have a bit of honey too. The first bite was like stepping into heaven and she stood there frozen for a moment before someone cleared their throat and she moved away from the table back to Crop's side who was grabbing another from the other end.
Meanwhile Saiph had spoken up about where to sign up and Adriane knew she had to go back down for the singing class. "Hey I've got to sign up for something downstairs, were you thinking of going?" She wasn't sure if Crop was the kind for dance or such but the girl seemed light on her feet, though she did say that her mother trained her so it could be just from experience. "If so we could still talk, I could share my snack from home. I brought jerky and Uqhuq... well, jerky anyway if you don't like the other." She wasn't sure if blubber was going to go over well but it was excellent for the skin and had lots of nutrients. "Also, it's a bit cold. I froze it and then made sure to have an ice pack... but the jerky should be normal." At the look Crop was giving her she clarified, "It's seal fat. It's good, but better cold, at least it was always cold when I ate it growing up... It's also a good candle."
She fidgeted awkwardly, not sure if she should have offered something not as delicious as the crepes which she realized was still in her hand so she started eating it again happily savoring the flavor and catching some shade from full vampires who would only taste ash. She didn't care, she already explained that she wasn't like them anyway, although not very well even though it was very loud. Whatever... she thought, enjoying herself a bit too much because food was her thing. Though, having a demon stomach was something of a drawback. Like Crop she could consume mass quantities of food and drink but had a limit when it came to blood. Blood always made her full and bloated, it was a bad time but necessary. A necessity she knew she couldn't do without and had her fill the day before which made her wear loose clothing. Musing on this she missed Crops answer and said, "Sorry, I spaced out on crepe..." which was half true, it spawned the musings anyway.

Maru was all for the snacks. He could use somthing light on his stomach as well.Gar eyed Maru as she made her way into the kitchen.Soon enough she reemerged dragging a table littered with crepes?A few of the other students rushed passed the purple eyed rebel. "Feel free to grab one. They're always free if they come from the student kitchen which is nice. I usually try and find which ones are made by Gardenia though, given all of these today were made by her."Gar nodded with a grin. "Well given that she's the cooking "sensai~" hers must be the best right?" Gar was hoping Maru didnt have any horror storys regarding other student's handy work....The fluffy neko girl then grabbed up one before taking a chomp out of it.Gar picked at random.....he knew what a crepe was....but due to his peculiar amnesia....he couldnt recall if he had ever tasted one...it sucked not having memories like that.... He eyed the thing for a moment before taking a nibble.Gar ate slow and always nibbled on his food.Dont judge him!The flavor was far better then he thought itd be and actually it hit the spot. While Gar was nibbling away he happened to glance over to Saiph and Ms. Turrant to see them exchange a...kiss...?So they were er...together? Gar thought with a questionable look on his face. His head bouncing back to what Maru had said about the water....no...no...this was just coincidence....though Gar did smile at sight of their affection. They were...how you say...cute together.Though the teen could only imagine what the arguments and disagreements were like! Saiph soon addressed the students, informing them of sheets to sign them up for classes. He'd keep that in mind but for for now he was focused on feeding his face! Though while he did this he couldnt help but think which ones he should sign up for....He wasnt the best singer around, and he knew little to nothing about music structure or how to play an instrument....Theater mightve been a good fit...nahhh. Gar meanwhile looked over to the students swarming the snack table and watched the blind girl make clicking noises, echo location maybe...despite her handicap she was as capable as anyone really....She got her own food and even wrote her own name on the clip board....wait....Gar looked around after hearing the faint sound of a cat....a cat here?! Was that sanitary?! Course there was no verification other then the sound he had heard. ((Sorry for the delay!))

Crop Rider
Crop was pretty happy to have her hair touched, it made her smile. She always liked to show off her hair and the style she decided to pick for it. Crop felt however since she let Adriane touch her hair it was only safe for her to do so. Crop grabbed the girl's wavy curls and smiled a little as she rubbed her hair for a moment or two. "Poofy...cute..." She said with a nod of her head. "As for what'cher mom says I like it. I have this sort of high regarded respect fer moms. I ain't got the same fer dads...don't mean I hate 'em or nothin'. I'm jus' sayin' I ain't got one...an' don't need one. That sound selfish? Ya...probably." Crop said with a giggle before making a fish face right back at the girl given she wasn't using it at the right time.
Crop had been listening to Adriane and she even gave a small cant of her head and sort of rocked it from side to side. The girl was offering her seal fat, which was something she had never had before. She didn't quite like the idea of eating a seal since they were so freaking adorable but it was something she'd not yet eaten. "I'll eat anythin'." Crop said with a nod of her head before giving the girl a smile. It was the truth. Crop could eat anything and probably find some way to enjoy it. She had eaten all sorts of things ranging from steel to people. Of course if she was going to eat a person they would have to have been pretty evil and she would have to have been pretty hungry. Crop did eat every two hours or so or she'd get a little uncontrollable.
"So, yer headin' down to go and register for a few electives? I'll tag along with ya. We got time since everyone's stopped dead. I gotta register fer dance, singin', cookin, and acrobatics. I'm gonna compete in the school's four way Olympics this year. Gonna show them other three schools that I look ********' hot in tight leotards. Also that I'm better 'en 'em." Crop said with a giggle, given she was being honest about wanting to sign up for the Four School Olympics.
Crop gave a small nod of her head before giving the girl a big smile and she giggled a bit. "By the way...I gotta let'cha know one thing. I try to make friends who are ladies all the time but everyone in this school knows somethin' 'bout me." Crop gave a shrug and spoke in a manner of tone as if to say she didn't know why it was such a big deal. "I jus' wanna warn ya before hand that I'm gay. I like the ladies, an' yer a pretty cute girl. I jus' want'cha to know that so yer not all scared 'bout bein' my friend. Ain't like I'm gonna hit on ya or nothin'. Jus' lettin' ya know ahead of time." Crop gave another shrug and a small sigh. She really hated that her sexual orientation sometimes kept her from making friends, but she couldn't really lie about who she was anyways. "If that ain't a problem...I'd still really love to walk with ya and talk with ya. I'd like a female friend..." Crop said with a genuine, sweet, and kind smile.
The girl had a good amount of friends, and most of them were dudes. She knew her attitude wasn't something most girls wanted to be around but she felt Adriane and she could get to be real good friends. That was only if the girl was completely okay with who Crop was. She was gay, and that was fine with Crop, hell that was fine with her mother Whip. (Seeing as Whip was pretty bisexual herself.)
"So uhm...here's to hopin'?" Crop held out her hand and gave a small nod to it. Adriane didn't have to take it but Crop liked to extend the invitation anyways.
 Maru Kiryu
Maru was happily snacking on her food and watching the crowd. She gave a small wave to Crop once more who seemed to be paying her attention again but turning her interests to the blind girl. Maru wanted to help her as well but realized that the girl looked pretty determined. She was making her way up through the crowd by herself and was even using an impressive set of skills by navigating via sound. The cat just smiled and wished sometimes she knew what it was like to have to overcome such hardships. Maru really didn't want to become blind but she'd at least like to be able to understand the girl's struggle as it had to have been quite the struggle indeed.
The cat girl turned her attention back to Gar and she nodded her head. "Everything Gardenia makes is by far the best. She may only be rivaled by a woman named Su Yun. Yun used to be a student here but now runs a restaurant. I go there often. Best thing is...she's a neko just like me...a very uhm...errrr...robust...neko..." Maru said trying to tiptoe around saying she had the biggest chest Maru had ever seen in her lifetime. She was red faced for a moment before giving a small shake of her head and looking back to Gar. "But yeah...you can expect everything that Gardenia makes to taste wonderful." Maru said before finishing up her snack.
Saiph however brought up signing up for classes and that got Maru to smile. "You can't have your class without me." Maru told Saiph before going to pondering. She knew she would sign up for dance but she didn't know where to go from there. There was a ton of them. From archery, to assisting in building space shuttles there was a plethora of classes she could attend. She didn't have the smarts for building space shuttles, and was already the best archer in the school. "After that though...I really don't know...Gardening maybe? Astrology maybe? No idea..." Maru said with a cant of her head.
Maru turned her head to Gar and spoke up. "Hey Gar. Do you have any idea as to what sort of elective classes you may want to take?" She asked with a small cant of her head. She was curious as to see what he might want to take. You could take as many electives as you felt you could perform. There were some students who just took massive handfuls of these classes and still pulled it off, then there were some who only took the mandatory one. Maru liked to have two or three at least. "They have a fishing class." Maru said with a giggle seeing as he was in fact named after a fish.
Her attention however then awkwardly changed to the smaller blind girl. She really wanted to introduce herself and maybe talk to the girl but she felt she would probably come off as rude. Instead she just sort of watched and smiled. Maru was having issues coming up with a proper greeting for the girl seeing as it was generally pretty awkward to just start trying to chat with someone. Maru opened her mouth once or twice as if she was going to say anything but every time she closed it and just looked sort of defeated. Maru liked making new friends but she wasn't sure on how to go about approaching this one.

Saiph didn't notice Gar taking particular notice about the interaction between her and Gardenia. It was pretty normal as most people knew they were indeed married. Still, she would wait another few minutes as the food was finished up and people signed up for classes. Students were already going down-stairs to sign up for a few classes (and of course enjoying the food although not many bothered to get a second crepe--they were rather filling after all) and that made her smile. The only other person who could eat as much as she could was leaving the area--That said, she heard Crop in passing mention both the thing about not needing a father but also signing up for the Olympics which also made her smile a bit since yes, the students had their own games but so did the teachers. The events were different but some were also the same. It was one of the many fun things they did each year and of course--Saiph was the gold medalist dancer. However, she got a tad distracted from Crop when Maru chimed in that she wouldn't have dance class with out her in it and Saiph smiled and nodded "Of course not, I expect both you and Crop there as per usual" She mentioned to Maru with a nod.
She was feeling much better--she was over whatever issue she had before. She was back to drinking her coffee contently, smiling (although she didn't show her teeth--she was solely a lip smile-type of person and for having a natural pout, she did smile a lot), all that sort of thing. Still she let Maru talk to Gar privately as she had also heard the cat--although she was well aware of where it was coming from and indeed it was a cat....of sorts. Her shadow seemed particularly focused on listening to the cat yowl as if it knew what was being said by the creature. Despite her shadow looking towards the kitchen rather intently, that wasn't her main focus. Her main focus was indeed the blind girl who had signed her name on the clipboard for Gardenia's class after some talking to. She'd even left her phone number where it was appropriate to do so as well which Saiph guessed, if it was a text or something (as most students preferred) it was read out loud. Although she guessed Gardenia would also be courteous enough to actually call the girl to let her know if she'd made it in or not. She was sure though, based on Gardenia's interests in the girl she felt her wife would be super excited to have talked the girl into it. From here, Saiph could read the clip board and the girl's name.... Hayami. Pretty name.
She heard Crop mention something about gay and liking the ladies, and with a bit more context she got the gist of what was being said. She'd never understood why some girls had a problem with a friend who was gay. Unless they were the same, they weren't likely to ever get hit on for any reason--if they were, they still weren't likely to get hit on unless the attraction was strong enough to maybe risk a friendship over. A lot of people didn't understand what it was like to be gay....the struggles that came with it when dealing with their own gender. She'd heard the same sort of thing happened to guys too but even then she didn't really understand what the big deal was. Then again, she was completely biased on the subject as she was a lesbian herself. With that, she was still hungry and returned to the table to stand a bit closer to see if anyone was going to get second helpings. She herself was at least going to put two more on her plate (for now) although now the problem came with deciding which ones.....
それは戦いの価値がない場合は何も価値がない ℋ𝒶𝓎𝒶𝓂𝒾 ℋ𝒾𝓈𝒶𝓀𝒶𝓌𝒶
Hayami sat on the ground with her crepe and ate quietly. God, it was so good and she closed her eyes if only to silently express how wonderful it tasted--far better than anything she had ever made and anything she'd had possibly in her life. Then again she'd been living at a shelter for the last few years or rather, bouncing between them which meant.... she basically ate whatever could be scrounged up by them as well as at soup kitchens and what not. It wasn't bad--it was food at least but it also wasn't great either. Not to mention, it was limited as well which meant although she did get food it was only on occasion. Her button up shirt hid it well especially with her bust size of a small C.... but she was actually really thin, thinner than she should be anyways (although due to her handicap, she'd been a bit luckier and had gotten a bit more food than most else she'd likely be completely starved looking). Her clothes made her look more filled out though and for that she was thankful. Give her a hug though and....well.... that illusion would be ruined.
Still, she sat until she was finished and even then she took a moment to listen to things. A rather loud girl had passed her and was talking to the Adrian girl.... at least it kept her from bothering Hayami for a bit longer. She really, especially now, did not want to be treated like everyone else treated her--like she couldn't do anything. She'd been told she couldn't do anything or it was too dangerous for her to do something and that sort of thing for years and it always bothered her. A lot of the time, she could accept it--like football/soccer. She wouldn't feel comfortable playing that and would agree she probably couldn't if only because she hadn't even been good at it when she could see so not being able to see wouldn't help her at all. Something like walking though....she could do that without help. She could do basic functions and it really pissed her off when people excessively tried to help like she had. Even if there were good intentions behind it.... she hated it.
However, she did hear that the loud girl was gay.... she liked girls and Hayami couldn't help but look away a bit, blushing slightly as she did. She....preferred ladies herself. They were softer and generally more understanding and they smelled better. Not to say she'd turn down a male if she was asked but she hadn't run into many who she'd even liked enough to consider a friend. She had basically resigned herself to being single forever though--after all, who would want to put up with a partner who was blind, who couldn't see them and had special needs. No one wanted her for a child after really coming to understand her needs, why would a partner be any different? She sighed slightly as she got up again, she was going back towards the table for another crepe. She had her plate in one hand, her cane in the other as she slowly approached.
When she got there though and went back to where the crepes were she had to put her cane down and she was side stepping as she sniffed until she bumped into something or rather....someone. She jumped a little...startled since, for her, that came out of no where. The crepe smell was over powering the smell of the person since she'd been leaning down to determine what kind of crepes there were left but now that she was startled and looking towards the person she'd bumped into she realized the person smelled like...tea? "Excuse me" the familiar voice spoke in a classy thick English accent. Hayami paused, frozen realizing it was Saiph and looked at where her mouth seemed to be--where the sound came from. She was a LOT taller than the girl had expected "N-no, it's my fault.... I'm sorry" Hayami said with a small bow but Saiph shook her head. "No, it was entirely mine. No need to apologize, dear" She almost cooed, trying to be as soft and gentle sounding as she could be. She knew what it was like to have sensitive ears and knew people speaking over others just made everything louder and worse when people like her, like Hayami could hear just fine at a normal volume.
The girl paused, she did have something to ask Saiph but she wasn't sure how. She just went to looking down at the table where the crepes were, trying to work up the nerve to speak when Saiph spoke again "If you're pondering on which one to try, I think my favorite is the banana strawberry chocolate... if you like sweets" She mentioned and Hayami gave a small blush and a nod "Okay...." she managed. She kept looking down though and Saiph waited to see what the girl would pick but as a moment or so passed and the girl didn't move Saiph's brow rose although she kept quiet. Hayami was well aware of this and finally pulled in a deep breath before closing her eyes. "Miss Saiph?" She asked at a tone just above a whisper without looking at the woman but Saiph heard her fine. "Yes?" She softly replied.
Hayami was quiet for another minute before she continued "I.... don't want to take your class as I know I'd slow it down but, I was wondering if maybe I could do private lessons with you..... if you offer those? I mean, I don't want to be a bother..." She was going to continue but a long, thin, soft finger touched her lips. Saiph leaned down a little to be at the girl's level "I'd be happy to..." She knew another reason the girl probably didn't want to be in the class--dance was visual, she was not, and trying to learn something super visual while not being such could end in some rather embarrassing situations like....running into other students, needing special help learning the moves, etc. "Is there anything in particular you want to learn?" Saiph cooed gently to the girl and Hayami looked down a bit more before whispering her answer which made Saiph smile. "Alright" She said gently although she knew no one else had heard the girl. With that, Saiph picked her crepes and left the girl to do the same at her own pace.... as to no longer make her nervous at all. Hayami, however, was breathing a bit heavily as she was fairly.... excited but scared all at once as to what had just happened. She'd done it....maybe everything would be okay.

Adriane Berner Adriane wasn't surprised when Crop returned the touch, it was a common thing. She did like to hear that someone thought it was cute, though Crop was a talker and Adriane soon learned that dad's weren't her thing. It wasn't something that Adriane herself had any experience with so she nodded and was glad to see Crop fish face right back. It made it easier for her if things like that were made lighter. She was also glad that she wasn't too disgusted about her eating seal fat. Though it seemed she had to weigh in on whether she wanted to eat any or not, but hearing those few simple words, "I'll eat anythin'" made her smile. Her smile broadened when Crop mentioned that she was going to sign up for the singing class, along with a tone of other electives as well as training for the Olympics.
"Olympics?" Adriane mused, not knowing if there was something that she liked to do to compete. She wasn't really sporty, though being a different school she was sure that there were very different events.
After hearing how Crop would look excellent in a leotard she nodded, "I bet you have the crowd going." When she was done giggling Crop went on to a very serious subject. She revealed that she was gay, which was no big deal but Crop confessed that there were some others who didn't like that fact and that she would like to be friends. In fact Crop complemented her cuteness again which made her blush a bit before Crop awkwardly held out her hand.
Adriane smiled warmly, grasping it firmly, "Not a problem. I'm a child of two moms, well ones a demon so... one mom and one woman who could have both or either...? During my sex ed talk she wasn't really clear... Whatever, the point is I couldn't hate you even if you did hit on me. Though I would blush, maybe a lot."
She watched as the awkwardness seemed to drain out of the other girl and pulled her out of the kitchens saying, "Common, that singing registry is calling our names. It says: 'Crop... Adriane... tattoo your names on my body before it's too late.'" She giggled and then suddenly slowed and looked at Crop a bit concerned saying, "You're cool with tattoos and piercings right? Ma works as a traveling artist and I reference stuff like that sometimes... it's been a problem with some parents but rarely peers. Though I have known a few that had religions forbidding stuff like that. In the cases of the rebellious ones only doing it because of their parents, I gave them my Ma's card. Nothing like knowing they were going to an actual demon to get a 'mark of the devil' or whatever. I don't really know why they don't like tats, Ma's arms are so beautiful it's almost a tragedy that some older parts are fading. And she carves up her horns too! Puts bright staining agents on them and stuff. Her horns change color more than my hair."
As she monologued, they reached the first floor and she waited as Crop put her name on some different classes. Adriane wasn't sure what she really wanted to do as an elective other than Singing and Painting/ Drawing. She wanted to get better at art, having an artist for a parent and little to know 'talent' in it. According to Ma it didn't matter how talented you were at any art, that practice was the only way to get better. So far she'd progressed so slowly that it frustrated others and she'd come to terms with not being a great artist. It was with conviction that she put her name on the list, hoping the very French Ms. Fife would be able to help.
Together they put their names on the singing class, while she was writing she asked, "Hey, what kinda music do you like, and what do you sing? I like to listen to a lot of things but I like to sing show tunes, some classical, but I love to rock out. If I had a voice for metal I'd do it. Form a band and work crappy jobs until it was a thing but... I'm too sweet. There are some bands that do it but I feel like it would be copying." She was eager to know if they were interested in the same thing or if they would be some sort of playful rivals. Trying to outdo a friend was often fun, and fed her competitive nature. ((OOC/ edit: I found a better picture. Hope it's not too big?))

Gar popped the rest of the crepe into his mouth which in turn made his cheek poke out while he chewed. He listened as Maru made it known that everything Ms, Turrant cooked was by far the best...however.....it appeared there was one who rivaled her.A woman by the name of Su Yun.Apprently the woman used to be a student here at Shotoken, but she now owned a restaurant in Osaka. "Best thing is...she's a neko just like me...a very uhm...errrr...robust...neko..." The teen arched a brow. "Ro..bust...?" Though it took a moment for it to register just what Maru was getting at! Gar blushed slightly, his beautiful purple orbs finding the nearest wall. "Oh you mean...Oh! Uh...I think im better off not commenting on that." The teen said with a slight grin while Maru finished up her little snack. So Maru was in fact in good graces with Saiph....honestly Gar hadnt thought Maru would be fit for dance class...but she was a neko so it kinda evened out.Though he seemed to learn that both that girl Crop and Maru were teachers pets so to speak.Gar seemed to zone out for a moment before Maru caught his ear and asked what kind of electives he had in mind. Gar scratched at the bandage that covered the bridge of his nose before replying in that raspy semi feminine tone of his. "I'm not to sure...no way in hell Ill be able to take dancing....Im not exactly the most graceful person around,so id rather spare myself the humiliation. I have a thing for art so,theres that....cooking would also be good cuz well...its a useful skill to learn..." Though Gar had never cooked anything in his life, that he could remember anyway! The possibility lay that he could be good at it or....be terrible like what Maru had mentioned with Saiph. "Music is also tempting.""They have a fishing class." Maru stated with a giggle. Gar sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "Thats a cheap shot." The teen said with a snicker of his own. "Not sure if I have the patients to fish, ironic right...plus I er....tend to get really nauseated around large bodies of water..."

Crop Rider
Crop nodded her head and gave a smile. "It's a pretty big deal the Olympics here are. Ya've got s**t like yer typical javelin toss an' whatnot but then you've got more important stuff goin' on as well. Energy projection range and explosiveness, ya got musical talent in there, an' ya even got the Japan marathon where ya run the entire isles...that means ya gotta find away to the adjacent islands too. Pretty impressive stuff." Crop said all the while smiling as she did. She liked participating in the Olympics, it was always a lot of fun. "It's a competition between the Shotoken, the Shoujen, the Kyokyugen, and the Biwa school. We won last year." She added on with a bit of pride ringing in her voice.
Crop didn't say anything about the having the crowd going but she did giggle a little bit. She always felt she looked nice in a leotard. "Of course this year...big badass Crop is gonna wanna compete in somethin' she loves doin'. Do know if ya tell anyone before it's time for the Olympics I'm gonna have to beat'cha." Crop said nodding her head before looking around to see if anyone else within in earshot. Luckily no one was. "I'm gonna be lookin' into doin' figure skatin'. I watched Saiph an' Gardenia do it as a couple last year an' it was ********' magical. So I wanna give it a try. Given...I ain't got no partner so I'll be doin' the solo sad enough." Crop said with a shrug. She was sure she could give an excellent performance by herself anyways.
Crop listened to Adriane's story on how she had two mom's and it got Crop to smiling ear to ear. "Ya don't say. Interestingly enough...guess what?" Crop said with a giggle before turning a light pink shade. "Seeing as who my inner soul is I can do the same. I call it...how to do drive off guys ya don't wanna be 'round. Of course...ain't many people very comfortable with it but I'm sure if yer mom's are like that ya won't give a s**t 'bout mine. Or at least I'd hope ya wouldn't." Crop said with a giggle before looking down to her lower regions. "Of course...I ain't uhm...equipped so to speak right now. That comes with pretty much summonin' it...I wanna find a way to implement it into a fight one day. Maybe poke someone's eye...that'd be hilarious."
Crop nodded her head though about the tattoos and just made her way along with Adriane. "I like tattoos...on other people. I ain't 'bout to get any myself. I like my body the way it is. My mom has all of one on 'er. It's on 'er butt." Crop said with a giggle. She slapped her own butt as if to show where her mother's tattoo was. "It's pretty cute if ya ask me." Crop said with a giggle but then she got to thinking on the next topic that Adriane brought up. She was wondering what kind of music that Crop liked.
Crop moved along with the girl pondering as she went and as they neared the board she just sort of turned back to Adriane and gave a small smile before answering. "I'm all about music. Give me some good ol' 80's pop, the Japanese people's pop is pretty bitchin' as well. I like some dance music, not all, an' ain't a fan of any form a rap or country. An' fer the ******** dubstep, or any form a step...Strangely enough I love classical an' folk music. As fer a band I'd love to be in one. I was one in but we broke up last year...pretty lame." Crop said with a shrug. "Lots of bickerin' an' s**t. They wanted to play what was popular. I wanted to play our ******** 'em." Crop said with a laugh.
When they got to the board it just so happened her old band was there signing up for music as well. "Speakin' of traitors..." Crop said with a smile as she moved over and begun to sign her name on the singing registry. "Adriane, ya just gotta sign under me." She said with a nod of her head.
One of the girl's though, a tall girl with short brown hair and bright brown eyes turned to Crop and just smiled sickeningly sweetly. "Oh my god, Crop don't put everyone through your voice. We only let you sing for us because we felt bad for you." She said which got a laugh out of the rest of the so-called band. "Honestly, don't...you don't want your new girlfriend to suffer. We booted you for a reason." The other girls just sort of stood there nodding there heads like perfect puppets. This girl seemed to be the new band leader.
Crop just turned her head to Adriane before looking back to them. "Yeah, ya best be glad my new "girlfriend" is here to keep me from knockin' yer teeth outta yer ********' heads. Plus, hey if she's my girlfriend I did pretty good huh? She's better lookin' then the rest of ya cunts." Crop said with a loud laugh. Her ears however were turning red which meant she was getting pissed off. She was however trying to keep her cool in front of Adriane. She didn't want to explode on them.
 Maru Kiryu
Maru gave a small giggle and nodded her head. It seemed he understood what she meant and that was a good thing. Maru didn't like talking forwardly about people's physical appearances. It made her a bit shy to do so. She knew Su Yun pretty well though so at least she was a decent judge of the woman. She even really liked hanging around Su Yun. The woman was a special type of hyper that just got Maru settled into a good mood. "Maybe I'll take you to Su Yun's restaurant after school. My treat." Maru said with a smile on her face. She just liked having a reason to go out and eat at that place given Maru generally ate too much when she went.
Maru turned her head and nodded to Saiph. "I'd never miss the chance to attend your class and I'm sure Crop wouldn't either. You're my favorite teacher for sure. I can't speak for Crop however...since she's...weird." Maru stated gently. She liked Crop it was true but she wasn't friends with the girl. Maru just knew that people tended to stay on Crop's good side because people who didn't generally ended up getting really messed up, really hard.
Gar begun to run through the classes he was interested in though and that got her to nodding a little. "I couldn't dance for beans either, but Tsubaki here is an amazing teacher and taught me how to do it. I'm pretty good at it now." She gave a gentle cant of her head and just smiled. The art program is super fun, and cooking even more so. Gardenia is a hilarious woman...if not strict sometimes, as for music Tsubaki's daughter Mitsu teaches it." She thought for a moment before thinking of a few other fun classes. "There are freaking ninjutsu classes. Mitsu's wife Ulma teaches them...but apparently from what Ulma says there is a true teacher hidden in the dark somewhere."
Maru giggled a little bit at the fact that Gar can't fish or even be around large bodies of water. "You have the most ironic name ever." She said with a smile. "I like fishing, but not as much as the previously mentioned Ulma. You can generally find her fishing with her rod. It's literally a bamboo pole with a strong and hook. No reel or anything." She said sounding almost impressed about this fact. She could fish, but she had to get herself wet to do so which she didn't entirely enjoy.
As she spoke though something came to mind. "Oh, Tsubaki!! Doesn't Ms. Stone have a book club now!? I need to sign up for that. She's so fluffy and adorable!" Maru said with a smile before noticing that Saiph was talking to the blind girl. "Oh, sorry..." She basically whispered feeling bad for butting into their conversation. She was always a polite girl so she always felt bad when she went interrupting conversations. She just turned back to Gar with an awkward smile on her face. She didn't know what other face to make after butting on a conversation. Instead she just sort of smiled to him and remained silent.

Saiph had nodded to Maru with a smile as she stated that she'd never miss the chance to attend her class and she was sure Crop wouldn't either as Saiph was Maru's favorite teacher. This she already knew and she also knew that she was at least one of Crop's favorite teachers. The other well liked ones were Gardenia and Aurora as they were common teachers to have.... as well as Mitsu although Mitsu, like Gardenia, was a bit tough on her students. She was a samurai after all--she didn't take any s**t from anyone. Those who were disrespectful towards her were generally asked to leave straight away. All the same, she was going towards the table at the time when she heard herself referred to by another name... Tsubaki. She had a vague idea what Maru was talking about with Gar before she ended up with Hayami. She hadn't actually been paying all too much attention as she had sort of slid her plate along the table smelling for a crepe....just like Hayami.
In truth, them bumping into one another was both of their faults although the blind girl clearly took it more as her own. Even so, as they stood, Saiph made a recommendation on crepes to the poor uncertain seeming girl, offering her personal preference on crepes although to be fair she loved all of them. Every single crepe was her favorite. She loved the sweet more desert like ones (strawberry nutella banana), the breakfast ones (bacon maple), and the lunch ones (broccoli, cheese, and turkey/chicken). She loved all of them and she had just finished putting two on her plate when Hayami spoke up, saying she didn't want to take her class but....she did want private lessons. It made the demon smile gently and she gave a small nod informing her she would be happy to do just that. She understood that the girl was likely embarrassed about how she'd probably move at first but although dancing with others was a bit more visual she strongly believed dancing for yourself came from the very soul, from the heart. It wasn't about looking good--it was about expressing one's self in a physical way that was something of beauty to enjoy and cherish. Not only that but in a way that felt good.... that felt freeing.
"Is there anything in particular you want to learn?" She asked and leaned in so Hayami could whisper. Her answer of course made Saiph smile a bit more. She wanted to learn ballet specifically and maybe even, if possible, a bit of ballroom dancing. Saiph could do that, she was already working out how she'd get Hayami to learn the moves since they couldn't be seen and feeling Saiph every time wouldn't be nearly as effective. No, Saiph was thinking about basically turning Hayami into a puppet of sorts....teaching her body the movements with the help and support of thick ribbons that would move her for her at first although of course it would be gentle. If Hayami wasn't open to that, Saiph always loved a good puzzle to solve so she would be happy to work with the girl either way. The silence between them indicated to Saiph it was time for her to leave and she did just that and instead went near the stairwell to wait for the students to return from downstairs so they could continue their tour.
それは戦いの価値がない場合は何も価値がない ℋ𝒶𝓎𝒶𝓂𝒾 ℋ𝒾𝓈𝒶𝓀𝒶𝓌𝒶
Hayami waited until Saiph had left although she was listening to those near by, she couldn't help it and that said, she couldn't help but wonder who this 'Tsubaki' was. Another dance teacher perhaps? Either way, she had already made arrangements to have private lessons and that was good enough for her. That said, she had one more class she wanted to sign up for. Sure, she knew about the school, she had gotten the whole run down that it was a special school. There were special classes like ones for alchemy and ninjitsu or all kinds of crazy things including one for inner souls--although she doubted she had one. She was a pretty normal girl as far as she was concerned save for the whole blind thing. She didn't look particularly different one way or another, she didn't have an attitude that made her stand out as she was rather shy and quiet and she didn't have any particularly outlandish likes or dislikes. She was just an average Japanese girl in all respects as far as she was concerned....except that she was blind.
She picked out one of the crepes suggested by Saiph as she'd eaten a bacon maple earlier and this seemed like a nice second. She just hoped she could eat it all. She'd not eaten in about 24 hours so it was nice to have food provided. This one was also so amazingly delicious as she took her first bite and savored it.... then again, compared to shelter food and that of the soup kitchen, most food would be pretty amazing. Even so, she was also thinking maybe at this school since housing and food were provided she could get up to a healthy weight as.... she definitely wasn't at the moment not that her shirt showed it. She did that on purpose though.... thank god for button ups as they were rarely tight even when fitted. Her illusion had not been lost and likely wouldn't be--who would ever want to be with someone like her anyways? No one wanted to be her parent, she'd never had many friends if any at all once she was blind since being blind tended to make other people uncomfortable it seemed, and no one would likely ever want a partner with special needs. She didn't expect anyone to find out any time soon so long as she didn't get sick since she, since she was in control of herself at this point, WOULD go to the hospital to get treated.... unlike her stupid parents.
Regardless, she sat and ate her crepe not too far from the kitchen door and ate it peacefully. She would sign up on the way out she thought....or at least when she was done with her crepe. However, when she had finished her second crepe she realized there were still people filing up and down the stairs. She supposed she could meet everyone down there and as she got up, threw away her paper plate, and went to the stairs she could smell Saiph near by. "Ma'am? May I meet you down there?" She asked and when Saiph agreed she went down the stairs, swishing and tapping her cane a bit as she did until she was on the bottom floor. She could hear the girl from earlier that had annoyed her as well as the other loud girl she'd heard announce herself as gay and several other girls talking and saying some.... not so nice things. She was silent though as she went up to the appropriate room and found the sign up sheet for singing and put her name on that too.
She was curious about (although not curious enough to do something and truly dedicate herself) maybe playing an instrument but she....sort of doubted she could, especially when it came to sight reading--a skill she had no hope of acquiring as she couldn't read music for the first time while simultaneously playing said instrument. For singing though at least that didn't need any hands to play so she could use her hands to read the music maybe? She had no idea how that would work but if anything she could just learn the music by sound and listening alone--that's what she usually did since she didn't actually know how to read sheet music much less doing so while blind. Perhaps the teacher Mitsu would have another creative solution as to how she could be taught or at least...that was the hope.

That giggle of hers was priceless.Course anyones was,it conveyed happiness and joy....Gar was somewhat taken by that,Maru's giggle suddenly to form of an oldercouple...a mix of a male and females voices...the chatter from the entire room going silent in this moment...but this phenomina would only be happening to Gar.And instead of it being projected from Maru it seemed to come from behind his left ear! This eerie occurrence made Gar suddenly whip his head over his left shoulder...but no one was there. 'W-what....?" Maru's voice faded back in as Gar heard her give the possibility of taking him to Su Yun's restaurant after school. It took a second for Gar to snap his head out of wonderment....he chose to play off this occurrence rather casually. After asjusting the duffle bag on his shoulders,he blushed slightly while scratching at the bandage across the bridge of his nose. His eyes kinda found the nearest inatimate object to focus on as he replied. "I uhm....yea,ok.Thatd be real cool of you Maru.Maybe you can show me around Osaka a bit more to." He added under a bashful smile. One thing Maru and Gar unknowingly had in common was love for food~food glorious food~Unfortunately Gar couldnt be chivalrous when it came to paying. He had little money after the trip and the money he did have was foreign to Osaka. Though As Maru's conversation veered to Saiph Maru stated shed never miss the chance to attend her class and so wouldnt that eccentric girl Crop. But seemed they were both teachers little pets~ =w= Which didnt seem to be a bad thing in a school like this. Maru returned her attention to Gar for the moment. "I couldn't dance for beans either, but Tsubaki here is an amazing teacher and taught me how to do it. I'm pretty good at it now." "Yeaaa....I just dont dance. But good on ya."Gar had a lean build but he was short at 5'4 so in his mind he just wasnt built for dancing. Maru continued. The art program was super fun and so was cooking. Hed defiantly be doing cooking. It was a rather useful skill to learn and master. And Music would also be a definite as well as Art.Music was what feelings sounded like.....Art is a visual on ones perspective and mood. Both of those Gar felt he need to project out of him... " There are freaking ninjutsu classes. Mitsu's wife Ulma teaches them..." Gars eyes widened with surprise! "SH-SHINOBI? HERE?!" He tilted his head away for a moment andm uttered under his breath. "Like in one of my Japanese mangas!" Though the next bit Maru included.... "...but apparently from what Ulma says there is a true teacher hidden in the dark somewhere." Gar's mouth gaped open slightly as his eyes seemed to convey a bit of fear.A single drop of cold sweat rolled down the side of his cheek. "H-Hidden in the sh-shadows?! Nope.....nu uh. No way. That ones crossed off my list." It seemed cool enough but a bit too intimidating for Gar! Though Maru giggle seemed to calm him down, though he noted that the odd occurrence didnt happen again....spooky. "You have the most ironic name ever." The teen rubbed the back of his head. "Well, its not my name by choice and...you should know its not my real name.." Truth was Gar was constantly harassed by thugs and the like once he woke up...they also beat the snot out of him when ever they manged to corner.....the thugs called him Gar because when his back was against the wall he still fought back with everything he had. He's grit those teeth of his..He never backed down or stopped until he was completely unconscious...but at that point in time...he was more confused and scared then anything...."Gar,the vicious fish outta water...." Maru voiced that she enjoyed fishing, but not as much as this female Ulma.Though the woman apparently liked to fish with a bamboo pole. "Old school huh?I can appreciate that."Maru's attention shifted yet again. Word of a book club? Ms Stone....wait...fluffy and adorable? "Ehhh...fluffy and.....adorable?" Gar questioned. But Maru had somewhat poked herself into a conversation between Saiph and the blind girl. "Guess I should go ahead and sign up?"

Adriane Berner Adriane listened as Crop explained the Olympics and how they were going up against the other schools, probably wanting to keep all the bragging rights from last years win. There was a fire in the girl, a burning passion for competition. However when Crop mentioned a beating Adriane leaned in a bit, curious to know what she would be beaten for revealing and wasn't disappointed. She didn't take Crop for a figure skater, but on some level she was glad to hear it. Double glad to hear that she was the same, a strange mix of two genders. "Ha, adding insult to injury, I like it!" she laughed, Crop was sure an interesting girl. "Don't worry about either, it's not like many of the others would want to hang around after my... screw up. Though I suppose I should tell you that I was hoping there'd be figure skating."
The two carried on, sharing the kind of music they liked as they went and signed up for classes. Crop mentioning that she didn't like anything step and getting Adriane to protest, "You have to look up Major Lazer with Mo's 'Lost.' I agree that most EDM is trash but somehow the Reggae/Pop/RnB foundation transcends to something beautiful. They do have some annoying as hell songs but others are soooo good." However the news about the band breakup made her stop and snap out of her passion for the music. "That's terrible, a sound can take years to develop and you already had one. It seems like a giant waste to copy and not stand out. Especially since there are already contracted bands doing popular styles and only breaking even."
They got to the music board and there was a cluster like Adriane thought it would be. By Crop's reaction though it was clear that this was her former band. There was a girl who turned to Crop to lay on charm so two faced it made Adriane set her teeth. "And people say I'm socially unacceptable." she thought as she signed under Crop while she was giving a pretty good comeback. "Yeah, it is too bad I'm here. I'm sure you deserve the a** whooping." She looked more at the puppets than the girl, knowing that the seed of desertion would have never taken hold without them being weak minded fools. "At any rate, if you do push her to beating you I offer my services helping quell all the bleeding. It will be fun spitting at you." She smiled just right to catch a glint on her fangs as she spoke and watching their disgust and horror. This kind of reaction is what she relished, not the flinching fear earlier and it lightened her mood. Adriane looked to the leader as she spoke a few words of disgust before interjecting with, "By the way, I'd rather be known as Crop's "girlfriend" than a backstabbing ex band leader who wont even dignify her with a true rival's hatred. That sickeningly sweet routine is best saved for when there's a teacher around to brown nose. You're just wasting your time otherwise."

Crop Rider
Crop looked to Adriane and just gave a small smile and a nod. She liked the way the girl had put all of that. "Nicely said." She said with a small laugh before turning back to them and just giving a small regal bow. "We have business to attend to and must be away. I tend to not wish to stand about and listen to your dull blather anymore. Good day madam, I say good day." Crop said in an accent that was very close to Saiph's. It was like a more refined British accent which was what she was going for. Crop gave a small smile before turning back and nodding to Adriane. "Let's go." She said with a nod as she turned and started back the way they had come.
"Yeah, guess you gotta go feed the fatty in you." The girl said with a smile on her face that just screamed a*****e. The other girls just sort of smirked and gave their little giggles. It really did seem like they were one pathetic hive mind given the leader was giving Adriane a rather displeased stare. She hadn't liked the girl's words and would make note of her. This girl was sure her band was on it's way to success but their bands biggest threat was Crop and they all knew it. Given her poor choice of words probably wouldn't go unpunished by the girl with duo-toned hair.
Crop stopped dead in her tracks and turned around. "The ******** ya say?" She asked slowly as she came forward to stand before the group. She shook her head and just grimaced. "No one talks s**t 'bout Gluttony an' don't get their faces smashed in. You ain't a ********' special flower this is exempt from this rule. I'm hopin' Adriane gets her spittin' face on..." Before Crop finished her sentence she reared her leg back and sent it hurtling towards the crotch of the taller girl who managed to dodge it. "Good...this is gonna be long an' painful then." Crop said with a growl.
The tall girl though summoned a ball of fire with her hand and begun to pitch it up and down like a baseball pitcher would do. As for the others, one girl begun to shine as small ice crystals formed around her. Another's hair stood on end as electricity surged throughout her, the third member grew a long lizard tail and scales as her inner soul was monster, and the final begun to bubble purple as her inner soul just so happened to be poison. "Do you really wanna do this Crop?" The leader asked with a smile on her ******** yeah I do...'cause I don't need no ********' inner soul to kick yer asses." She said with a wide grin on her face. She pulled out her whip and cracked it against the ground. "Let's ********' rock." She said with a smile before getting down in a sort of sprinter's position before bounding off the floor. Crop moved quick enough to catch the poison bubbling idiot off guard with her knee. The knee connected with the girl's stomach so hard it sent the girl flying back across the room and smashing into the wall with enough force to cause that wall to seemingly generate waves.
Before the others could react Crop shot out her whip while she was still in mid-air, she hadn't even landed from that knee. Her whip caught the arm of the lightning user and with one swift pull from her whip she caused that girl to literally punch the ice wielder in the face. Crop did this like three more times to add insult to injury.
The tall girl though unleashed a wall of fire and pushed it towards Crop, who just did a sort of crescent flash kick like she was Guile from Street Fighter. This opened a path through the wall which left Crop completely unharmed. By this time though a group of students had come to see the fight as any student would. The old chant of "fight" had arrived and students were already snickering, some asking who the idiots were who were stupid enough to get in a fight with Crop.
The monster girl though leapt at Crop who just cocked her leg back as far as she could. "Time for a bit of regrets." Crop said with a large smile on her face.
As the girl went to swipe Crop merely ducked under her, swirled around and flung her leg out. Her shin came into god awfully painful looking contact with the girl's crotch. The connection was devastating enough to actually sound like gunfire when it connected and this sent the girl hurtling into the ceiling who then go stuck in it. Crop just looked to the only standing three and smiled broadly. She then reached up and pulled the girl down by her tail and cracked her against the ground as if she were a whip. "You done goofed." Crop said with a broad smile on her face.
The remaining three were sweating a bit now and were now looking to potentially find an escape route. They had never actually fought Crop. They had mock fought her before so they thought this wouldn't be so hard, but it turned out the girl was way too much of a challenge for them even while they were using their inner souls. Crop was too fast for them to see in all honesty.
Crop turned to Adriane and smiled at her. "Wanna join in? I beat you could kick their asses too...Call it a...warm-up." She said before turning to the other three who were generally pretty ******** at this point in time.
 Maru Kiryu
Maru nodded her head when Gar asked if their were shinobi because there were quite a few. There was Ulma, the hidden masters, and even a robotic ninja by the name of Zaki who frequented the school. The ninja were all pretty cool people though, especially that Zaki lady. When he got worried though and told her that it was crossed off his list Maru just gave a giggle. "That's fine. I've not taken those classes either since I'm a little afraid of getting my butt kicked by ninja all day. Given I've met Ulma and she's a pretty passive woman, really funny too...also Russian...Russian ninja." Maru said with a nod of her head. It was funny that Ulma was the ninjutsu teacher although she was Russian.
"It's not your real name? What is your real name then? Uhm, you don't have to answer if you don't want to however. I'm not going to force you to." Maru asked with a light cant of her head. She was now a bit curious as to what his real name could have possibly been. Maru was also now curious as to how he got the name Gar. It seemed like an awkward nickname to get seeing as most people didn't nickname themselves after large fish with gnarly teeth and an ill temper. With that said she was now guessing that Gar got this nickname from someone else, or probably groups of someone else. Of course asking too many questions would make her come off as rather rude.
Maru started walking down the hall to head to sign up for classes. "Yeah, she's a wolfwere so she's pretty fluffy. She's a teacher...who you can pet and not feel weird about it. She likes it even." Maru said with a smile on her face before just sort of squinting her eyes. "That sounded weird I'm sure. You'll see what I mean when we meet her." Maru stated gently and with a small nod of her head.
As they made their way though a student came running up the hallway and stopped short of Saiph and the group. "There's a fight in the bulletin area!! Crop is kicking the s**t out of some people!! It's ******** awesome!!" This guy screamed out to the group before running back off to watch the fight probably. He seemed pretty excited to watch the beat down, given Crop was generally an impressive girl to watch.
Maru heard it all though and looked to Saiph, that Hayami girl, then to Gar and gave a shrug. "There it is. Every new year there is always a fight on the first day. I guess it's Crop's turn to start it. Given I don't recall who started it last year." Maru said with a shrug. She wasn't as excited as that boy but she would go to see what it was all about anyways. She might even get some insight as to how to go about facing Crop if she ever had to. "Always a good opportunity to learn about some of your potential opponents as well." Maru said with a shrug.

 ℋ𝒶𝓎𝒶𝓂𝒾 ℋ𝒾𝓈𝒶𝓀𝒶𝓌𝒶
Hayami was minding her own business as she slowly wrote her name and information on the sign up sheet, trying her very best to stay within the lines that were provided although she was only barely able to feel where the print/ink was on the paper but she thought she was doing pretty well. She'd signed up for two classes now and would be getting private lessons in something else that would make her hopefully feel good about herself. She wasn't doing anything else as she certainly was here for school but she wasn't sure she'd sign up for another class.... but maybe a club? Maybe she could get some friends that way, right? If she was going to be sticking around for a while, perhaps even years, maybe someone would....eventually... want to be her friend. The girl didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable though or have it feel forced. If that was going to be the case she'd rather just carry on alone.
However, while her back was turned, the mean words continued. A British-like accent was put on by the 'Crop' girl as some of the other girls had called her. She was seemingly going to leave it be until yet another rude comment was made, one that got the bunch of others to giggle and Crop to turn around now angry...ready to get physical it seemed. More mean words and some movement and then--s**t hit the fan. Hayami, having never been exposed to people with an inner soul before, didn't really know what to think and had no idea what was going on. She heard the fire crackling a bit and the sound of ice forming unnaturally quickly, electricity, some other unfamiliar sound and bubbling. The girl asked if Crop really wanted to do this and she insisted that she did before Crop mentioned not needing an inner soul to kick their asses. Hayami wasn't sure what that was but the term had been used a few times before today and apparently they'd be learning about it a bit later.
Whatever it meant, the sounds that came next were definitely not something Hayami wanted to get involved with. She didn't feel safe passing back to the stairs as she couldn't see when someone was being flung her way or anything like that so instead she simply moved to the corner of the building (not too far away) before she sort of curled up in the corner trying to make herself small and hopefully safe. She heard all that was going on but had no idea how to appropriately respond to it. Little did she know, shots that went past Crop and towards her (such as that wall of fire with the chunk/strip taken out) started disappearing when they even remotely approached her. Around her was a purple, static-y like aura... one that gave off a far more dangerous feel than the bit of spiritual pressure Saiph had put out earlier. Hayami was unaware of this though as she could not see nor feel it surrounding and protecting her... she was just feeling scared and wishing at this point that she could see, then she wouldn't be quite so vulnerable. This was especially true with the whipping sounds paired with the hits that were so hard they resembled gun shots in terms of sound leaving only three of the five girls still standing--fire, lightning, and ice.
The monster girl was down for the count.... period. There was a crowd gathering around, growing steadily encouraging the fight. But as Crop asked the other girl Adriane to join in the fight, the bubbling returned. The girl was woozy and didn't see well and mistook the odd purple static for the long purple part of Crop's hair. She fired a large ball of poison at Hayami but that would result in instant regret. For half a second, the girl would see a flash of a red eye and instead of Hayami getting hit or hurt at all, the poison ball disappeared for a second and blinked back into existence hurtling towards the girl who fired it with no time left over to dodge. Essentially, the attack had been fired back and now that girl was also down for the count--poisoned by her own attack.
The aura around Hayami got even more dangerous, threatening all who got near especially since an attack had been directed at her. Little did Hayami know, this was her own inner soul at work protecting her. That said, the purple static was also quieting everything down for the girl.... the sounds of the crowd was softening, the sounds of the fight was fading, and while Hayami was still aware of what was going on she didn't feel quite so anxious as it sounded almost as if the fight had moved away from her and perhaps even outside although she hadn't heard that sound yet. Either way it was a little bit of a relief all the same and got her to stand up again although she remained in the corner. If any of the girls missed.... as the fight had rotated so that Hayami was basically directly behind Crop....they, like their friend, would quickly regret it.
Saiph was happy to let Hayami go down stairs and potentially meet her down there with the remainder of the students. In fact, after a few minutes she was about to round everyone up when something quickly caught her attention. Something.....very dangerous. Her eyes were locked on target through the multiple stories of the building. She knew what that energy was and she didn't like it at all--what bothered her more was that she knew students were down there and potentially in grave danger. One of her blue eyes shifted and turned red as a portion of her mask started to appear. She and Mono were going to have to be ready if she was going to fight some dread-being. Mono might potentially have to come out in full if that was the case. Her hand gripped the hilt of her sword that resided on her hip and she turned to go downstairs but someone came up instead informing the students that Crop was fighting in the bulletin area and apparently it was awesome.
"Damn it" Saiph grumbled. She wasn't mad about the girl getting in a fight, no, she rather expected it at some point or another but she did expect the girl to be more aware of who or what was around her. She had sensed that Hayami was a bit.... different in terms of inner-soul and now her suspicion was confirmed. The fact that there was something going on that was threatening Hayami though meant that it was't just a normal fight. Inner souls had likely come into play and that just made everything worse--it put everyone down there in immediate danger. With that said, Saiph didn't bother to go down the stairs and instead seemed to step backwards into the wall and disappear into her shadow only to reappear downstairs not too far from the gathering crowd.
The students were all at one end of the hall, all on one side watching the action which gave Saiph easy access and line of sight towards Hayami. However, she wasn't completely sure if she herself would be a threat to the being within the blind girl. She had to try though, even if the fight continued she definitely wanted to try and get Hayami out of there--that was the most important part. That was what mattered. "Mono...." Saiph said before seeming to split into two. There was the regular looking her--black hair, blue eyes, white antlers, black wings and at her side there was another her. It was exactly the same height, same look, same weapon, same everything just....in a different color. The skin was still white but it was an unnatural white, the hair was white, antlers were black, wings were still black, and eyes were red. The whites of the eyes were also blackened but like Saiph she had a look of duty on her face. While Saiph went towards Hayami, Mono went towards the students of the watching crowd to protect should things get out of control.
Saiph's approach was cautious. Her hands remained at her side near her sword but not touching it nor reaching for it. She didn't want to come off as threatening. She wanted to help and if she could basically get ignored by the girls and have them do the same to Hayami, things would be fine. Crop could certainly handle them.... the only question was if Crop would be enough to keep even the missed attacks off of and away from the blind girl. At least that would prevent any further irritation of the Dread being.... hopefully.
