Danny hugged her tightly as they both ate, drank, and made merry before heading back to the hotel. They ended up walking by a convenience store on the trip back, as the streetlights started to twinkle on in the dusky sunset.

"Oh! We should stop and get some snacks for the road tomorrow..." Roxy said, stumbling slightly towards the store front.

Danny belched, waved his hand in front of his mouth and nodded. "Yeah, sure. I could go for a Slim Jim," he said, leading Roxanne in by the hip and walking shakily to the snack aisle.

Together the couple wobbled through the store collecting a wide variety of snacks, including some drinks and Danny's requested slim jim.

As they reached the counter to pay, a selection of pregnancy tests caught Roxanne's eye, almost hidden between the condoms and performance pills. Danny was too busy fumbling through his wallet to make sure he had the money to pay for this restocking, he tended to leave the majority of their money locked up back at their hotel so if they were jumped, they wouldn't be losing much. He wouldn't notice if she purchased anything extra with her own money. She had to make her decision now though, as the cashier was bagging up their purchase, and though inebriated, Danny would slowly start hobbling back to bed when he received the brown paper bag.

Going with her gut, Roxy included a couple of the pregnancy tests with their purchases. She was slightly tipsy but not nearly so much as her husband so she figured she could get them out of their bag of snacks before he noticed.

Danny flopped back on the bed when they got back in, rummaging in the bag blindly and pulling out the Slim Jim he craved. Flipping the TV on to an old COPS show, he proceeded to veg out while nibbling on his processed beef stick.

Sneaking her pregnancy tests out of the bag, she stored them in a drawer in the bathroom where she planned using them the following morning. As it was she was feeling the effects of the alcohol and wanted to nothing more then curl up beside her husband on the bed.

He smiled as he held her close, giving her a tender kiss on the lips before resting her head on his chest with a smile. "Mmm... I love you so much, babe," he said softly as he rubbed over her gently as they watched some late-night television and slowly drifting off to sleep.

Awoken by the sun creeping through their window, Roxy stumbled across the room and wrenched the blinds closed. Despite having drank very little, she still had a mean headache. Flopping back into their bed, she pulled the pillow over her head and tried going back to sleep.

She wouldn't have much luck though as a sour feeling manifested itself in the pit of her belly and started to grow. She could almost feel the bile welling up and splashing at the back of her throat as morning sickness hit with a vengeance.

"Goddamn it... not again..." She mutters, groggily pulling herself out of bed again and speedily shuffling towards the bathroom.

After the quick bow to the porcelain god, the thought of the pregnancy tests crossed her mind. What better time than now, while her husband was out like a light?

Grabbing one of the tests from the drawer where she'd hidden them, Roxy removed the packaging and went about her bussiness, making sure to use all three of the tests in case one turned out to be a fake positive.
