This was not the sort of thing that Esrael would normally go to, but he was still a little curious about everything. There weren't many people there yet it was just that there was still a little too many people in one place for the Fallen. He could only hope that Joseth or Burvia would show up, someone that he was close to that he could interact with without being that awkward wallflower Junior.
He looked around, not really recognizing anyone. When he noticed that there were gifts he could get he immediately hurried over to the booths. There was so much stuff! Luckily there were only a few people he wanted to get things for. He smiled softly before asking about the bracelets. 'It would be nice to get something like this for Jo, like a friendship bracelet!' Meekly he pointed to one of the bracelets. "I'd l-like to get t-that one please..."

Naturally, Conan had asked Cherubi to accompany him to the Hunter's Jubilee festival this year. Why was it that talking to girls before Cherubi had been so easy? He had never had such a hard time asking a girl out on a date before in his life. At least his sister's had helped him dress the part again. He wasn't wearing a suit by any means, in fact he had gone for a rather different approach this year. The first time he had run into Cherubi he'd been put into a dress. So he figured he'd mark the occasion in a similar fashion. It hugged his form nicely, but the skirt poofed out at the waist. He had even pulled his hair into a rather nice updo for change, again with the help of Cammy. He was pretty hopeless when it came to dressing up himself...That's what sisters were for after all!
He showed up a bit before Cherubi, so that he might scope out what the festival had to offer. It looked like Ava hadn't gone too terribly overboard with the prizes and such like she had at the Solstice event. Still, he definitely needed to win something for Cherubi before she showed up! There was a lot of food, plenty of flowers, but oh! There was a really cute plush over there at that ring toss game.
It seemed luck was on his side for the day! He nailed the ring toss and scooped up the adorable purple plush. He was sure Cherubi would just love it! With his prize in had he made his way back to the entrance where he'd said he'd meet with Cherubi. Part of him worried she wouldn't even recognize him, but well she had seen him in a dress before anyway.
Ash grinned as she made her way through the stalls, hand clutching her sister's tightly, "Come on, Antsy! There's so much that we need to see!" Their mother had left them to their own devices, especially now that they had the buddy system.

Antsy frowned at her sister, trying desperately to keep up. She wasn't quite in the mood to run, especially since they just got out of their classes. "But Ash, what about food?" she whined softly. "I know mama's bring us stuff later, but I'm going to die if we don't get something soon!" A small sparkle caught the fey's eye mid complaint, leading her to stop. "HEY! Look at what I found!" A stone, small and pink, lay on the ground before Antsy scooped it up. Lucky day!
It was an odd feeling, not one that Kamryn had ever felt before. A tightness along his leg left the hybrid glancing down.... and nearly screaming in the process. WHAT WAS THAT THING? The coatl nearly grinned at the horror on his face, slithering further up. "I... what.... I..." he didn't know what to do, but he had to find Ada... maybe she would know what to do.
As uncle Kam was left squirming with fear, Cervina was left giggling, picking up a plushie that she had just won. She wasn't going to be waiting around, she didn't even expect him to baby sit. She just needed him to get her here and to take her home. For now, she would collect all the things.
Hunter's Jubilee had really did a good job sneaking up on Eilwen this year. It was like one day it was just normal classes on campus. Then suddenly, bam! A day for celebrating all of her close relationships. She didn't really have too many friends herself, she could count them all on one hand really; Gaius, Fakir, Korv, and Vanna. And Vanna was more a big brother than a friend, but he was definitely still a relationship worth celebrating this year. She had come to the event in hopes of winning something for each of them. Even if she just left with a flower for them all, she was sure that would be enough to express her feelings for them all!
She had tried dressing up for the occasion, normally she dressed a little more professional than any junior had any reason to. So she'd put on a casual bubble dress for a change and had actually left her curly hair down for a change of pace, well most of it. She still had some pulled back with a red ribbon in her hair. She also had a little heart shaped bag hanging from her side. So, sometimes she did like to dress in a more...adorable fashion. For the time being her glasses her put away as well. She wouldn't be needing them at the events, at least she didn't think so.
She had a soft smile on her face as she started to wander around and explore.
After that mishap at the last Festival Gadriel was looking to make up for his blunders this time around! He'd been in contact with Nimue on and off and been enjoying some company with them on and off since the Solstice. Nothing too serious had happened, but he could feel a connection growing between them. Nimua was just so adorable, would wouldn't be attracted to that cute wall flower?
Gadriel had asked Nimue to go to the Festival with him, and not just as friends this time around. This was a date. Definitely a date, oh man he really hoped he didn't mess this up. He had fussed over what he should wear for a whole week. In the end he had settled for a rather causal-comfy sweater and some cut-off khaki pants. He didn't want to make things too fancy too fast...
He had some time to kill before Nimue arrived, so he scooped out the area for a bit. He was stopped by someone who commented on his attire and handed him a plushie for his "obviously has a date showing up" partner. Was he being that obvious? Ahh, well it wasn't so bad. The plush was sort of cute, he was sure Nimue would like it anyway. Well, hopefully. He made his way back toward their meeting spot and tucked the vespercat plush under his arm for the time being.
Foras wouldn't be caught dead going to a Hunter's Jubilee event single. No way no how, of course it was rather obvious he'd be going with his boyfriend, Alioth. But he had made sure to ask anyway! It was a rather elaborate task as well. It involved chocolate, a painting of them together, and some matching charm bracelets as well! Foras was definitely a fan of taking things above and beyond. His Starshine was quite special to him after all, and this was the best time of year to show it!
He managed to arrive first, ah he was always early everywhere he went. Well, most of the time anyway. Sometimes his art could distract him...He found a booth giving out an array of enchanted colored roses. The light blue definitely reminded him of his Starshine so he picked it out as a gift for his lovely Fallen companion for when he did arrive.

Cherubi couldn't help but be nervous. They had started just as friends. Back then, it had been easy to speak to Conan. Somewhere, somehow, this had changed, and Cherubi had grown almost restless each time he texted her or visited. Her mouth would tighten, holding back words she wasn't even aware of thinking and her stomach would flip. It had taken quite awhile for Cherubi to recognize what that was. Affection. She had spent so long setting up other people and working her hardest to make long lasting couples, and now here she was, stomach fluttering and hands trembling as she considered that maybe now was her turn.
Yet, Cherubi wasn't going to push it. Not now, at least. Conan was easily considered her best friend, and losing him would be heart-breaking in both ways. What if he didn't feel the same way? What if he cared for another? She couldn't risk that, and she wouldn't. That didn't mean she wouldn't dress up before meeting him, though. She wanted to be as cute as possible, so Cherubi was a little late, which wasn't uncommon. Her hair had been let down, the ends curled gently. She wore blue mascara and her lips had a faint shimmer to them. She was adorned in a dress that fell off one of her shoulders, the fabric a startling and light space color. The stars flickered faintly, enchanted to shift and sparkle here and there. It was, by far, her best dress, and Cherubi was rocking it.
When she did arrive she began seeking Conan, almost skipping over him completely. It hadn't been the dress that confused her, but instead the hair, eyes rolling back once she was sure it was him. Oh, he looked wonderful, and she wasted no time in telling him that! Bouncing up to him, the bubbly Chimera immediately seized one of his arms, face lighting into a smile.
"You look amazing! Just amazing! I knew you'd look fantastic with your hair up!" She squealed, not quite noticing the plushie he held.
Fakir hadn't been excited about Hunter's Jubilee. Not at first, at least. He didn't really have many friends. Kindle and Jericho, yes, but.... that was mostly it. It was incredibly hard to find someone genuinely interested in befriending him for a reason that didn't relate to his fame. There was Eilwen, too, but Fakir hadn't really lumped her in with his two best friends. Something about her had caught his eye, and Fakir had carefully placed her in the 'super-cute-girl' category. Someone he wanted to impress, really. Still a friend, absolutely, but Fakir clearly intended to see if he could pique her interest.
For once, Fakir was self-conscious. Normally, he was proud. Arrogant, even. Today? Today he had stood before the mirror, fretting. His hands had flown to his hair numerous times, adjusting and combing any minor mistake. His clothes had been fussed with continuously, and there was even the worry that she might not be at the event. He wouldn't doubt it, honestly. He hadn't even asked her to go with him, as the Fallen wasn't quite.... smooth currently. Something about her flustered him. Maybe it was the fact he had grown unsure about relationships, or maybe it was because the first time he met her she was distraught. Whatever it was, Fakir didn't feel as smooth as he usually did.
When he arrived at the event he immediately began seeking anyone he knew. No one. Not yet, at least. It wasn't long before he found his way to a booth, peering at the flowers they offered should he win their Skyfish game. Just catch a Skyfish with a net. Real simple. He might as well try.... And try he did! It took a few times, but eventually he came away with a bouquet of roses. That was when he saw a familiar flash of blue, head snapping to the side. It was her!
Nervously, the Fallen slid to her side, immediately craning around to display the flowers in his hands. "Eilwen!" He greeted, gesturing with the flowers towards her. "Just the person I wanted to see! I got these.... for you!" And there went the nerves!

The moment Vivek got near the building, his eyes fell upon a lonely familiar shivering in the cold as it tried to get back inside. He couldn't let the poor thing freeze! Without a second though he rushed over to the Coatls, not knowing what it was, and picked it up. He then proceeded to put it in his coat, rushing inside so it could be warm ", There, now you can be warm. I can let you out now."
The Coatls refused to leave the freshlings coat snuggling inside it and claiming the boy as it's source of heat. That familiar wouldn't be leaving this boy any time soon.

Ziron was looking around a bit before they would be leaving to do something, seeing if there was anything they could get for someone special. Sure enough, there was a plushie that caught Ziron's eyes. Surely whoever they were thinking of would like this a lot!

Not much was going through Coralie's mind as she browsed the vendors, seeing someone who seemed to be handing out some sort of jewelry for free. By the time they got to her, she was being handed a pink ring that matched her outfit perfectly. This was going to stay on her finger for this event and not come off.
Aqua'glow (17)
Sitting down and writing down ideas for ways to do lessons for her classes, Aqua'glow wasn't paying much attention to her surroundings like she would normally do. If anyone was to surprise her, now would be the time to do so. At the moment though, there seemed to be no one. This holiday wasn't really one Aqua'glow was huge on, and she wasn't expecting to get a lot out of it.
Nimue had been absolutely terrified when Gadriel asked them to the event! It wasn't because they didn't want to go, no no! Actually, they were elated Gadriel chose them! Mostly, it was the fact Nimue knew they weren't very exciting. They didn't speak much and were fairly timid, as well as clumsy. Each time they had met up Nimue always felt at a loss for words, despite the fact Gadriel never pressed them for anything. It was natural between the two, until Nimue would spot couples or friends together and work themselves into a frenzy, terrified they were out of the norm. Did Gadriel enjoy their company? Were they exciting? Fun? Amusing? Any of those? Did Gadriel just feel guilty for the first time they met.... or....???
The fretting had translated into their clothing. Nimue had changed many times before leaving their dorm, eventually settling on a sweater that covered their frame, shorts that were completely hidden under the sweater (exposing his little legs, which wasn't a good idea the first event they met!), and boots. The hoodie was purely because it felt safe. Something for them to hide their hands into or curl their legs under should things get weird. They doubted they would, though.... Gadriel had a way of making things okay. Even giant crowds like these!
Speaking of.... Nimue had just entered the event, nervously pressing against the wall as they pulled their hair into their hands, plucking at it. They completely stiffened when a Demon approached them, eyes wide as the Demon began.... f-flirting? With them? Why? Their tail wiggled nervously, hands accepting the "generous" gift the other seemed to practically toss at then. Their little heart hammered as, nervously, the Imp searched for him. Where was he.... he said he'd be right there.... oh! Nimue perked up, turning hastily to the other person with an apologetic (and almost scared) smile.
"T-thank you for the gift! M-My friend is right there..... s-so!" And with that they fled, not even thinking to wait for a response. To Gadriel they ran until they were right up close, wiggling their way to their side. Oh good.... safety!
"Am I late? Someone s-stopped me and..... and.... I'm sorry. I meant to get here sooner." Nimue clutched they had been given by the Demon nervously, unsure what exactly to do with it. Throw it out? Hold onto it? Throw it?
Masaru smiled to himself and held up the locket to show to his sister. "Hey, Pandy, do you think she'll like this?" He'd gone to pick up Pandy to give her a ride home, but his sister talked him into checking out the event first. He played a game and won the little locket and he planned to give it to his daughter, whom he had left with Matilda when he went out. He needed to get back to pick his little girl up and bring her to the event.
Pandy glanced at her big brother and smiled. "It's really pretty, I'm sure she'll love it! What do you think about this? Will she like this?" The young Imp grinned and held up a fluffbug plushie she had won. Pandy thought it was cute and considered keeping it, but she'd rather give it to her niece.
Ada stared at the Vespercat meowing at her. She had just arrived to meet up with her boyfriend and already a critter decided to claim her as its new best friend. The small hybrid smiled and knelt down to beckon the Vespercat to her. "Here, kitty... Wanna come home with me?" The Vespercat allowed Ada to pick it up and it purred, settled happily in her arms. "I think I'll call you Dazzle..." She received a meow of approval and she giggled. "Alright then! Let's see if we can find Kam!"
"A Wisp? Awesome!" The Grimm's tail wagged in excitement at having gained a familiar and she grinned widely at the little Wisp. "I think Pixel suits you... Okay, Pixel! Let's look for my precious little nieces!" Stella puffed out her chest proudly and headed off to find Ash and Anstice.
This would be Conley's first time ever going to e Hunter's Jubilee festival. He had a lot of friends back home, but he hadn't really managed to make too many of them at the Academy yet. It was easier for him to interact with others back home, but his more reserved personality didn't really make for making a ton of friends in a new environment. So instead of focusing on his existing relationships, Conley was determined to make new ones this Hunter's Jubilee! It would be no easy task, but if he could just start up some conversation with some kids his age, he'd be in great shape.
The only problem was, what should he talk about? He had no idea...At least he managed to score some candy hearts for now. His tail wagged as he nibbled some of the pieces out of his bag. They were definitely yummy!

Hunter's Jubilee was always one of Kimi's favorite Holidays! A time of the year to get to express her affection toward all of her friends? Yes, please! Not that she needed a Holiday to tell her friends how awesome they were, but it was always a fun day regardless. Her only problem was that she had so many friends it was often hard to see every single one of them and find a little gift for them all! She'd made some friends since moving to Below, but today would also mark the day that she would add many, many more to that list! She was definitely excited to see what this day would bring!
Already her eyes landed on a ring toss game that would, in the end, score her an adorable fluffbug plushie! It was just the cutest thing! Who didn't love fluffbugs! You're welcome, Below! These adorable Familiars are the best.

This would be Jacinta's first Hunter's Jubilee away from her home. She wasn't really bothered by that. Her family was rather large and she was the last in a long line of siblings. That was the main reason she had decided to come to the Academy in the first place. Tired of the rigid rules of her household, she wanted to learn away from all that privilege for a change. Her parents put up little fuss about their youngest moving away. It really wasn't such a bad move for her in a family as large and well-known as theirs. They had enough heirs to deal with as it was. One stray wandering away wouldn't be so bad.
She was looking forward to making a friend or two today!
Nervous and excited for her first day really being out and about other Nightmares -- and apparently Day Dreams -- since the big change, Callie held her little pack close at paw and began to wander about the grounds where the party was being held. Maybe she should have waited for a small group to build, or a supervisor really, but she was far too curious about everything to wait it out. There were so many strange things that were very new to her and her kind, so the poor little neko was startled a good bit here and there... especially when strange and noisy thing just seemed to pop up out of nowhere. She didn't know what in the world most of these things were, and the crash course she was given before hand didn't do much to prepare her for much, if any, of this. Yet, even through all of this craziness, she still managed to find something to catch her attention. The cutest little pink bracelet. As it was offered to her -- since she had been staring at it with wide eyes for some time -- Callie offered a big smile and slipped it on her wrist.

Ryker didn't really have to be dragged out of the apartment, not when there was fun to be had! And food. There would at least be some grade-A sweets at this thing. And that wasn't even counting the fact that it was Matty who was going with him. He honestly hadn't expected to be sharing a room with the goblin, but everything had worked out pretty well if he said so himself.
He laughed when Matty reminded him about his blackmail recording capabilities. "Yeah, boo, I remember," he said with a grin. Except he was planning on doing his best to remedy the epic fail of the last game from the Winter Solstice. "Nah, I'm the one with a hot roomie," he said and winked flirtatiously.
Citalicouldn't believe that she was out here, wandering this incredibly crowded, and overly busy festival. She should be in her room, hidden from this noise with a good book. Yet, that was the very reason she was out here in this festival. She had overheard that there was the possibility that she could get some new books, but she just wasn't sure where! Why in the world did she come out on the first day of the festival? Sighing, she decided that maybe it was just best to head back to her room, and maybe try again when it wasn't so busy. "I'm so stupid for coming out to this. The Goblin mutttered under her breath, disappointed as she turned around and tried to navigate her way back through the crowds to return to her room.
