Personality: AR-11N chose and was chosen by a family he believed would love him as much as he would love them. He was wrong. The first red flag was when they wouldn't give him a name. As first when he asked he was told they hadn't decided on one, yet rejected all of his own suggestions. Then it was the increasingly rough treatment he was forced to tolerate from their child. Finally, when his eyes were damaged by said child, they said they were taking him for repairs but instead dumped him outside the city.
By the time he was found, he was in poor shape. His entire torso had to be replaced, but there was still nothing that could be done for his eyes. Damaged goods as he was, no one wanted him until one person came along and offered him a home, asking him what his name was, and when he stated he didn't have one, they said that was the first thing they needed to do and they also gave him a gift with no strings attached; a device he could plug into his ear that he could use the camera to see through.
He chose the name Arlin after his designation and did end up choosing this new person as his family. His new family helped him gain independence and took him to the Academy and then University to learn, helping him choose his own path. Finally he has found his true home, and he tries not to let the loss of his eyes hinder his overall joy.

His family was poor, and while he could attend the Academy, he ended up barely graduating and promptly went into perhaps less than savory work in order to try and help his family and himself. It was a bleak time. But then he found Kthonios. The god's tenants lifted him up, and his followers helped Tarush. They took him off of the streets and gave him a place to sleep at night, helping him return to school and pick a university. His gratitude was without measure, and he prayed his gratitude nearly every night. He would never forget from whence he had come, but he was finding a life now, and through that, he could help not only himself, not only his family, but so many others as well. People like him who needed aid. He looked forward to being able to give it, as it had been given to him.

Except for the strength of her magic--which indeed comes to her quite naturally--everything she's said must surely be false.
Though most do think she must have come from the Great Cache, there are some who know she might somehow be telling the truth. Some who know her stone was found hidden in an old Grimm settlement. But of course, even if that much was true, she couldn't possibly know her origins. A stone isn't aware, and can't be taught. Yet somehow her delusions persist. Unless she can offer more solid proof than mere claims, however, no one is going to listen.
