Eirlys nodded. "Interesting. Well, let me know if you find them. Someone like that would be worth meeting in this lifetime. They'd be the sort to have an impact on every life they touch...good luck." she smiled gently at him. If there was one thing her parents taught her was that gender didn't matter in terms of love. While she wasn't well versed with dealing with others due to narrow minded moments in her past she knew her mothers struggled to the point they were at now. She looked up as a she spotted Mammu tracks. They had to be careful, male Mammu's while normally gentle could be aggressive to protect their calves. She looked at a few different tracks...spotting a few families nearby. "Hmm...we should be careful. There are a few Mammu families around here. Males can be aggressive if there are any newborn calves. They just came out of their mating season."

She drummed her fingers on their linked arms as she gazed at the ground. "The tracks seem old...but you never know with the snowfall around here."

As the two made their way closer towards their home. Eirlys smiled as she saw the tracks of her Mother's prized Radaku. Good. If he was out here chances were that...she slowly looked up and nodded. Yup...snow was missing from a branch...her Mother's Kinfa was also out here. They always did watch over here. "Seems as if my Mother's small pack are guarding us...those Radaku tracks belong to Throl...the lack of snow on some of the trees. Her Kinfa, Grol. If you see a pure white Janarim...don't panic...that's Youl. She's pretty much the guard of the house. Means that my parents told her to come get me...you'll be safe. She doesn't attack unless I tell her to."

It looked as if they were getting closer to home. "I think we're nearly there..."

Eirlys blinked as she thought that over. "Mother has at least one of each beast throughout the regions. Save for the Matori region or the newly discovered Island Yael. She's not a fan of the Snaptrotters, but I want one of those. From what artists have showed us...they look like they would be good youngling sitters." she smiled gently. "Though, that pure white janarim she has a few pups. One of them has her same coloring. Mother says she'll give me that one when I start out. That way I have a protector."

She looked up as said Janarim rose from a snowy hill. The large creature blended in perfectly with the background. Walked up to them then sat, watching Huyana. Glancing slowly to Eirlys the female stood again and guided the pair into the settlement. Eirlys chuckled. "Huyana, that is Youl."

Eirlys chuckled. "If you find a few rare ones, keep one for yourself. Merchants look better with a magnificent beast at their side. I could even help you train it if we're traveling together at the time." Eirlys herself wanted to tame the larger more dangerous ones for the chance to train them to protect younglings. The more families had that sense of security the less tension there would be to aid the tension of war.

She gave him a light laugh. "Thank you. She's pretty much our third Mother. The second eldest says I'm the fourth Mom, Youl is third if only because they've seen her mother me once or twice." she smiled back. "I can't wait to be able to train her pup."

Eirlys knew why some were staring. She had a slight reputation as a stickler for the rules and Huyana was anything but...so smiling she let the male put his arm around her. Slipping her own arm around his middle in kind. Just to keep her balance. "Let them. I'm not the type to be ashamed of walking with a new friend." Part of her liked the idea of traveling with this male. He seemed like the type who could provide a rather interesting view on life. She looked up as two of her younger siblings waved at her from Youl's back.

She smiled at them. "The two half-breeds there are Eurfi and Eiota. Their both half shifter. According to my Mama, their from the same Mother who's Ice. She slept with brothers or something and abandoned the results. So, Mama took them in. Eiota is smaller than most of his brothers so Youl doesn't mind if the dual ride." she leaned her head on his shoulder so he could hear her. She was also glancing around and spotting one of the more pushy suitors stalking them.

Eirlys' expression darkened a bit. "Yeah. For his small size and the fact he's not a pure blood. The second oldest is the oldest boy, Eurit. He's half wind, but most around here know he'll beat you senseless for picking on him for it. He starts most of the fights...which I admittedly will step in to end." she let out a soft sigh. "Sometimes, I just wish there was a half-breed friendly settlement...Mother says we'll never leave here because there's too many allies that outweigh the foes." she huffed. "For them maybe, but their not the ones who play with the younglings. Kids are brutal."

She blinked as a dark Radaku came up to her side to take the lantern and trot ahead with it. Since they were in the settlement high lanterns were light up all over. With her free hand she reached up to rub a temple. "As for your earlier comment. I honestly could care less for more than half of these narrow minded idiots around here." she made a face as the pure ice male came into full view before turning on his heel. "Especially him."

Eirlys smiled, leaning into the touch. "Thank you...and sorry. He keeps intimidating my younger brothers to get to me. He knows the moment he goes near my sisters Youl would be at his throat. As for a play date. I don't see why not..."

Oh she heard the rumors, but that was alright. Valek seemed like a good kid. She wouldn't mind seeing her little brother befriend him. "Eiota doesn't make friends easy, but he tries at least." she looked up to see her Mama at Youl's side. A knowing smile on the female's face as she watched the pair silently. Eirlys looked up at Huyana. "Mama's waiting for me. Thank you. It's been a interesting day for sure." she rose up on the balls of her feet to kiss his cheek.

"I'll see you around Huy. Next time we should spend longer together." she winked then stepped back to walk away.
