Muka watched the small one play with it's gifts. He blinked unevenly, "You never forget to feed it or ... things?" You know whatever maintenance was needed for a child. Sometimes he forgot to feed his minipets..

He knew children weren't minipets, obviously, but he didn't exactly have a nurturing relationship with his own father as a child so Muka didn't exactly have a good frame of reference for rearing children.

Muka was just happy that the scareling was enjoying his toys. The owl man was rather immune to annoying sounds. He was a constant noise factory himself, besides the massive amount of bird minis that hung around his dorm.

"Well I'm very, hrm, happy for you all." The strix grinned at his brother and glanced to Freya to see if she was still busy as he hadn't greeted her yet. "You have a bootiful family." Kettil got another arm pat.

Something fluffy tumbled into his ankle and Muka, thinking it was a stuffed animal, picked it up and squeezed it. "Hrmmm?"

"You'll do that?" Merope asked Freya eagerly, "You'd really grab the Johnny Danger by the collar and get the juicy gossip?!" If he could sparkle, he'd produce enough to warrant a trip to the nurse's office. As it was, Freya's declaration resulted in a warm glow from the undead boil.

As Lucida approached, Merope stepped back in order to give them room. He watched attentively. Was this how girls interacted with each other? Gossipy, squealy, and -- fffffft now that Freya mentioned it, Lucida's clothes were too cute! Granted, the outfit could use a few rips and tatters and holes to satisfy his undead tastes but... Maybe it wouldn't be bad, dressing as another race for once.

When he was introduced, Merope lifted his hand and began to give a small wave. He froze as Lucida complimented him. "C-c-cute? Ahaha, no, no I'm not!" He denied, flailing his hands. "If anything you are, Lucida. I mean. Um." He stuttered and stumbled over his words, hiding his face with his hand. "I mean! Um! Your outfit's really cute but so are you and oh gosh I don't think what I'm trying to say is coming through clearly. So. Ah, yes! I'm Merope, nice to meet you Lucida."

Merope shuffled on his feet awkwardly. "...Can we forget how stupid I looked a moment ago?" He asked hopefully.

The noise factory that was his son didn't annoy him, but his eyephone just went off letting him know he got a text and so his arms wrapped his son as he put his phone in front of the both of them.

Peder let out a small sound of disapproval and stared up at Muka with pleading eyes.

Kettil kissed the top of his son's head, "Uncle Muka can't save you now~!"

"Unk...Moo!" Peder chimed at Muka.

"You'll have a bootiful family of your own soon! I just know it," Kettil glanced at Muka with a large confident grin. "You always seem to have things work out for the best for ya!" At least he didn't get any complaints from his adopted brother so far.

Kettil's thumbs worked out a text while Peder freed one of his hands and began patting at his Father's arm. The Muut obediently took a second to even glance over toward his wife and her gathering and he flashed a even wider grin as he resumed texting.

That was all the motivation Kettil needed to leave his spot at the beads.

He moved a majority of Peder's gift onto the table nearby, except what his son was currently holding onto, and stood up. "C'mon Muka! Freya wants to see you!"

"Moo-ah!" Peder chimed in helpfully and even gave his toy a extra little squeak to punctuate his helpfulness.

Kettil was soon leading the way over to Freya, son still in his arms, upon getting within kissing distance he leaned and gave Freya a kiss. Peder was sandwiched between them, they would be reminded of this fact with a squeak from the toy that the small boil held.
