  Cecil laughed, following him to the couch.

About half an hour had passed, the two cuddling while enjoying what remained of the movie as well as two drinks and a bowl of popcorn. Cecil's phone rang for a minute, but he was too comfortable to answer it. Sawyer's phone was the next to ring, and when he didn't answer Cecil's phone lit up alongside it. Cecil raised an eyebrow and picked up his phone, recognizing the number as Cameron's and the one on Sawyer's being another police officer. Sliding his phone unlocked, the chief hesitantly pressed it to his ear. "Hello?"
"Cecil!" Cameron yelled over the phone. The blonde blinked at the urgency in the voice, but before he could say anything else Cameron spoke again. "You have to get to the police station quickly! Your- Er... Th-There's been an incident! It's bad!" He hung up before Cecil could ask for anymore info.
He stared at his phone for a moment. There was something off about Cameron's usually cheerful tone. It was dripping with worry and urgency. Still, it was Cameron. "Knowing him, the water cooler is out of water." he snorted with laughter before looking at Sawyer for confirmation."YOU'RE UNDER ARREST!"

" They wouldn't have called me too. Cecil, come on, it might be really bad. I'll drive." He stood up, leaving his suit jacket and tie on the back of the couch. He clenched his jaw at the response he got then glared at his phone and it's call end screen. He rubbed the bridge of his nose in frustration. Sawyer was supposed to come by later, and now the mood was ruined because of his stupid nephew getting in trouble yet again."YOU'RE UNDER ARREST!"

He chuckled at Parker's pleas to let him fly home early, but only shook his head and put his phone away. Parker was still at his mother's house for the holiday, staying a little longer to celebrate his sibling's birthday. Poor kid was even texting his aunts and uncles to come get him, but Sawyer made sure they knew not to.

"Hey," Cecil greeted as he reached up for a brief kiss. "How've you been?" he asked while walked back inside, looking at the clock on his phone intensely. "YOU'RE UNDER ARREST!"

"I was until he showed up just now," Cecil said while lightly punching the lawyer's chest. "No, but it's like our situation has reversed. My sister's been arrested for a DUI so I'll be looking after my nephew for the week." He sighed while shaking his head, running his fingers through his hair. "My sister's gotten bad about alcohol. I'm starting to get worried. And Jackson doesn't make things any easier. He keeps getting in trouble with his school... whenever he even shows up. You'd think a police chief would be able to do something about all that.""YOU'RE UNDER ARREST!"

Guess I can cross out materialistic on his personality, Cecil thought before seeing the box. A bead of sweat dropped from the side of his head. " Why'd you even buy that?" he asked then paused. " ... Do they really glow in the dark?" he mumbled while getting up to follow him. ~~~A knock came at the door, a loud one. In fact, it sounded like a kick. Cecil walked out of the bedroom, buttoning up his shirt before opening the door. A young boy stood at the doorway with a backpack slung over one shoulder and a rolling suitcase beside him. Metal music blasted from his earbuds, but he didn't seem bothered by them. In fact, he had an emotionless face. That is, until he saw the sweat and slightly unkempt clothing on his uncle. The boy wrinkled his nose in disgust. " Ugh gross, were you f-cking someone?" he griped, only to get swatted on his head. " Oww! Hey! What the f-ck!" he yelled while rubbing his head. " Watch your language!" Cecil snapped. "YOU'RE UNDER ARREST!"

He shut the door to keep the smell of sex safe inside, then followed Cecil to the front door, only to freeze that the language. His thirteen year old didn't even speak that way.

Jackson and Cecil continued their glare off until Sawyer announced himself. The boy eyed him warily, disgusted to be here just in time for the date to get off the bed. Sh-t, he might as well lea- Jackson paused as the band he was listening to was mentioned, to which he pulled out his earbuds and blinked at the man. " Yeah," he muttered, hesitating when he was asked for something to drink. " I wanna beer!" he called back. " Yeah right, you don't drink, even if you do steal them from stores," Cecil grunted while crossing his arms. Standing next to his nephew, it was difficult to tell who was older. " Shut up! I drink all the time!" Jackson snarled. " You sure you want to tell a cop that?" Cecil snapped. " Then throw me in jail! I'd rather be there then have to watch you two flirt with each other!" "YOU'RE UNDER ARREST!"
