Rodney straightened his shoulders, clutching the grappling hook. The fabric was thin enough that Zar could clearly see his tattoos. One could almost be considered familiar.

Zar smirked, still fighting but paying more attention to Rodney than to the creature struggling with him for its continued animation.

He sunk his talons in. "As far as helping the helpless goes..well." The very helpless creature hissed in distress.
