The eldest sister took her brother's place in the tree hollow. "Mom has sat here, I can almost feel her with us now." Then she looked around to make sure Kelina wasn't actually stalking her pod of wandering offspring. "That would be just like them," she murmured, "To sneak out of the gloom while we are all scrambling around looking for this ghost." She smiled up at Kres and tried to pretend she didn't want to crawl on him and drag them all after Vallen and Vuka. "As long as they don't get to far, if they get to far we have to follow. Not good to split up." She looked at Vep judging her mood.

"Vuvu be careful they might be scary." Vepkhia urged her brother to be careful as he started calling out towards the words she said she heard. There were no more audible noises for a few minutes as they all peered into the forest. Her eyes flashed around to all her siblings but kept being drawn back to the tree. "Kressy I wanna sit in the tree. Pleaseee." She begged her oldest brother as she squeezed him. Each sibling received her puppy-dog eyes as she knew she'd probably need their help to convince Kres since Vally had said he felt a ghost there. She just REALLY wanted to sit there where Mommy had sat. "Do you think we scared them?" She asked hesitantly as nothing else was heard in all that time after Vuka tried to speak with them.

Vallen didn't like it, not one little bit, but it wasn't his choice to make, Kres was her keeper most of the time and it would be his and Seze's necks really risked as they were elders and they were younger. He chewed his lip in agitated silence and looked around frequently in case they were to miss some wieird thing. He was not looking forward to feeling cold again, that had not been pleasant at all. He was worried that Vep would be the next recipient of that. "Yes let Vuka go with you please, its not fun being too close to a ghost."

Kresimir shook his head and continued to shake his head even after all his siblings were done talking. "I'm sorry Vep but I can't let you do that. It'd be too risky. We don't know if they're nice yet, they reacted once to Vally so maybe they would again. Everyone else can take turns sitting on the branch and if you really want to we can see if it'll hold all of our weight after but I don't like it." He had to keep his siblings safety as his number one priority. They were what were most important to him, not trying to find the place their mom had, that would just be neat. It was right after he said that that his left hand began to feel inordinately cold. "Vally, when you felt the cold was it like really cold or just low enough to make you feel uncomfortable?" He definitely felt uncomfortable, but it wasn't painful. "I think we should follow where Vep heard the voices from. See if they lead us again after we set out that way." He just had this feeling that they should get moving.

Vuka held his hands up in surrender. Sure. Whatever the eldest said went. Although wasn't Seze born first? Well, either way, the twins disagreed and Vuka offered a nod. Alright, no branch-sitting for Vep. He opened his mouth to speak, but then thought he heard it. A whispered voice, indistinct, coming from no one entity but the very air itself.

For a moment he was startled. A chill shot through him, but curiosity always won out. "I heard something," was all he said before turning back around and heading in the direction now both he and Vep had heard commotion at a fair speed.

Sezarra thought that Vallen's near disaster quickly averted was just the thing to make a dark situation lighter and she burst out laughing at his glare not being able to help herself. She leaned a hand on Kres for support and snatched it away. "Ehhh! Why are you so cold?" Then her eyes widened and she stared from Vep to Kres and grabbed onto his hands. Hers went cold too. She stared at him. "We had best get moving Kres, we will loose them." Her eyes knew there was a ghost hovering close enough to the three of them to cause the chill and she wasn't at all sure what to do. Vep would figure it out too in about 3 seconds she was sure. Seze dragged her brother and little sister off after Vuka and Vallen to see if the ghost would follow.

Vep was still rather pouty even as they took off into the forest. Why wouldn't they let her sit on the branch. She would have had Vuka with her and he would have kept the ghosties from being mean. But now they were going so fast because Vuka had seen something. It did seem like they weren't really going anywhere though which was weird.

The group really hadn't been running for very long when they entered into a clearing in the woods. Any feelings of the ghosts or noises one might have heard were gone, and the shifters were left standing in front of, quite frankly, a pile of ruins. They looked old, like really old, but the group notices a structure, if it could be called a structure anymore, still standing near the middle of the clearing. It looked like it had been a temple or something of some sorts. Was this where there mother had seen? The temple looked like it might have fallen over centuries ago, the two supporting walls left had many cracks but it was still unbelievably standing.

Vepkhia stared in awe. "Was this where Mommy was? Did mommy see this? Are all of you seeing this?" Her excitedness caused her babble. "Can we explore?" She asked Kresimir, and well the rest of her siblings as well. "Especially that thing over there!" She said pointing at the one structure still standing and then made motions that she wanted to be put down, which she was.
