Master Assassin Katie -MaHiRu-Kyo- Hmm now that I think about it, I think there was a Suikoden movie! But it's not based on the games. It has it's own characters and is a little different from the series. But it does have the 108 stars of destiny in it though. I don't know that much about it. It's a pretty old movie so I'm guessing that it might take you a while to find it on the net. Unless you are using a japanese modem then maybe you can find some more information about it. :3 Demon Century? I thought that was only a manga. no?

live actors for a game like this would be retarded. An anime version though would be awsome! with lots of action! I have the manga for Suikoden three and its pretty good

who needs actors....well voice acters yes...i mean, come one, the intro to 3 was sooo pretty (loved the song, wish i could find it somewhere, but alas, noooooo.......*sigh* ) it should be animated....as to weather or not todays actors could pull it off........hello, LOTR, yes, it could be done, but it would be very expensive......and i wonder how they would do the effects for the runes.....that would be challenge......

I've wanted an anime version of Suikoden since I played the second one. Now I'm thinking they should make them all into movies. It worked for Tekken and Street fighter.

I wonder how they would make the movies for Tactics and Gaiden? Those storylines play out at the same time as S2 and S4 are playing through.

Demon Century isn't all that hard to get actually, if you don't mind FanSubs. I saw it on a place I go to awhile back (FanSubs aren't illegal either, so no I'm not talking about anything illegal -__-). I actually attempted to watch it, got about 10 minutes into it, and then had to go do something else. I just haven't been in the mood yet to finish it.
As for a live action movie... that be pretty nifty, but I think I'd rather see it CG'd. I mean, CG'd looks real enough anyways, and then the characters would look like who they should look like if they base it on one of the games.

Nakado Does anyone think today's actors coyld pull off a live version of Suikoden? I think anime is the best way to go. Anime would be best, though with the right actors they could maybe pull it off, they would need Patrick Stuart (aka captain picard), and Samuel L Jackson. Richard Dean Anderson and the girl that played Leelu in the fifth element would help to. Who else? I can't think of any now...
