Matt’s brow raised as some of the smile on his face faded a little to something more serious. “If you mean by shot as in returning the favor of doodling on your face no. I also have less interest in watching you fail to mock you or spend an hour watching you sleep on the floor. I can’t have any fun with you if you are asleep.” He didn’t mind revenge, but over markers it wasn’t worth it, nor was he someone to really do anything beyond medical necessity to someone sleeping.

Matt grinned again hearing his words repeated.

“Depends… mostly no, sorry, but your right if I didn’t trust you when you grinned you really have no reason to trust me at all when I do it.” His brows knotted as he thought about it, it wasn’t like he could just say he had no reason to fear him. True, he would lie about things that were personal, but anything else no nothing that would ruin his reputation. Nothing that would make someone not trust him to some extent.

He looked a little perplexed at this point, but still tried to look at if it didn’t bother him as much as it did. “I think I would rather not make you nervous.”

Matt watched as Ever finished the rest of the course with ease, even adding a touch of flourish at the end. An obvious sign that Matt still had a lot of training and work he still needed to go through to even stand on the same level.

He rubbed his face again as Ever spoke, almost not even noticing the comment on a pretty face. “I am not sure I would call it bad enough to be quaking but yea we are done with the tower. Congrats are in order I guess.” Getting to his feet he held out his hand for a shake, a grin on his face.

Matt looked at Ever, the grin of course slightly crooked as he nodded to the door, a blonde and vodka sounded like fun.

“Sure.” He got to his feet his hand still in Ever’s. “My next shift at the infirmary isn’t until tomorrow morning.” It would be long enough to at least sleep whatever vodka he had off.

“Orange juice yes, I might have a few other things I’ll swing by and check.” He had a bottle of nice whiskey, maybe something like a sour mixer maybe. Most of his drinks skipped the juice so he was half lacking in that area. There was a grin matching Ever’s as he followed him to the door, slipping his jacket over his shoulders.
