Foras never gave up on something that he wanted to do, and these magic tricks were going to be no different. He didn't have quite the best handle on his magic, not by any means. So he tried a little bit harder the next time and managed to give someone some bright cyan colored hair. Not only did he succeed, but he also managed to make it last a pretty long time! Wow, he couldn't help but be a little proud of himself!

 This was the first time that Pandora had tried to do Illusion magic, she figured it might help spruce up some of her performances with her band. Ha! She couldn't even manage to do the illusion for a couple of seconds. What a fail... Well, she figured she could at least try it once more, maybe she just hadn't done it hard enough?

That time was a lot better! Somehow she had even managed to get it to stay for a couple of minutes! She was actually surprised. Up until now she thought she was only good with music, not that she ever thought that Illusion magic would be her mainstay, but she was still proud of herself for managing to pull it off.

Still a lot of nothing for him today. Seriously, he wasn't doing good with any of his classes this year, and if he was doing good it was boring for him. Maybe he needed to work on his studies more? That could be it, but so far studying hadn't been much help for him.

Finally! He was doing it! The illusion he was doing was changing another student's eye color to yellow instead of it's original color. He could hardly believe it! Not only that, but it was lasting longer than he thought it would as well! With every passing second, he began to get more and more excited about his accomplishment. By the end when it finally ended, it had lasted two full minutes, and Lazarus was proud of those minutes and always would be.

 You did it! And it lasted for a solid 2 minutes! Coralie wasn't sure how well she would be with magic, knowing her parents were not the best at it themselves. Actually... no one in her family honestly was that good with magic. However, something inside her told her to give this class a try. Now here she was, about to conjure an illusion on her partner for this project. With a deep breath to calm herself down, she started to change the hair color of her project partner to white. Amazingly enough, it seemed she was a natural! Sure she wasn't the best in class, but she was doing pretty good for a first timer! Two whole minutes later, her spell started to disappear, much to her partner's excitement. Apparently they didn't like the idea of going around school with white hair. Coralie thought they looked great with it!

 Wyrdda concentrated hard on her partner, her roommate Oriset. It felt like she was pushing hard, but nothing much was happening. It was frustrating--she'd been looking forward to learning illusions for years, and she couldn't do anything. She sighed. Maybe if she relaxed, it would work better...?
She gently reached out, concentrating on changing Oriset's hair color. Al--most--
Oriset's hair flashed bright green. Wyrdda's ears perked up and her tail wagged. The look on her face must have been delighted, because her partner laughed and patted her hand. Success at last! She resolved to try later as homework.

 Oriset laughed. She couldn't help it! The expression on her partner's face had changed so quickly from "ugh, this isn't working" to "oh my goodness!" Her happiness was infectious. Oriset smiled. "Okay, my turn. Let's see about changing those nails." She held the Grimm's paw up so that both of them could see the claws clearly. Oriset concentrated on turning them blue. That was a nice color--one of Wyrdda's favorites, and one that would stand out strongly against her brown fur. Oriset reached inside herself, feeling for the instinctive well of illusions inside her.
"There we go," she said with satisfaction, as the Grimm's claws took on a lovely turquoise hue. "If you'd like," she added shyly, "I could give you some tips after class...?"
The color lasted a few minutes, enough time for Wyrdda to admire the color while signing that yes, she would love some help.

 Jie concentrated hard on her partner, a Demon with lovely pink hair that flowed over his shoulders. She asked him about his favorite color--pink, naturally. She decided to turn his hair magenta. She could have picked his eyes, but she wanted him to be able to see it. What was the point of an illusion if no one could see it? She concentrated on the color and on the hair, and was rewarded with a deep, beautiful magenta that spread across his hair. He laughed with delight, talking about maybe dying the tips magenta over the weekend.
Jie smiled and made a few notes on things she wanted to work on. She was satisfied with the way class had gone today, definitely, especially when her partner held up a mirror to show her the eyes he had turned green.

 Kara definitely didn't see herself as being very good at Illusion magic. She wasn't even quite sure what had brought her to the classroom in the first place, but she thought it might be fun to play around with it. When she cast it and found out that she somehow managed to hold the spell for a couple of minutes she actually heard herself let out a small squeal of delight! She definitely hadn't expected that!

 With a deep sigh, Harley tried to focus on what shew would change on her partner. Eyes? That seemed hard and less noticeable. But hair might be easier. It would be more noticeable after all. She cleared her mind and calmed her breathing. She just needed to focus... A color... Her favorite color... When she blinked, she saw her partner's hair change to a burgundy color. It had worked! But it was wavering, and with another blink, the color was gone. At least she managed to change it, even if it was for a few seconds.
