Despite how useful the thrift store had been before, on this trip he found it to be relatively useless. Perhaps people had caught on to what it was, whatever it really was, and raided it before Emmanuel got the chance to get back.
Still, at least he found a few things, though he wasn't sure what use a stick and a bikini would be in the long run. Well, if someone really wanted to go swimming, he guessed they would find themselves more able to with this bikini.
Though he wasn't sure he'd want to be in the pool with this.

MAKE EM LAUGH - DAY 11
After a rather unsatisfying return from the odd thrift store, Emmanuel flopped down in the lounge with his paddle ball and yawned, boredly. He wasn't sure what else he would do today now that he had managed to finish gathering supplies for his Apartments, albeit terrible supplies that really didn't seem to help too much--
Well, there was definitely something he could do.
After the prior successes he had had with his lovely hallway parkour, he decided to take another shot at actually entertaining people because he was apparently good at it for all the wrong reasons. He'd take that, because at least people were smiling.
It was only so funny to watch someone spectacularly fail at being parkour, though, and perhaps his not-so-captive audience was not up to watching him fail once again today.
The course was set up as it had been before, with chairs and ledges and drawers and this time, he even added a lamp. Swinging around the lamp sounded like something that could look cool or absolutely awful depending on how he executed it, and he theoretically figured that either one would cause some entertainment. He was so very wrong.
Emmanuel ran up to the lamp and jumped off the couch to launch at it, attempting to swing around the lamp. He was, unfortunately, far too tall and yanked the lamp down with him, causing it to fall on him on his stomach. He instinctively cringed, holding himself around the waist and rolling back and forth on the ground.
"Ow, ow, ow..."
He found relatively little sympathy for his ridiculous shenanigans, though someone eventually came by and gave him a hand to come at his feet. Perhaps trying hallway parkour again had been a terrible idea...

GATHERING NECESSITIES - DAY 13
Gathering more necessities sounded like a good way to spend some time. It would let him get some fresh air, and perhaps he would manage upon a gold mine that perhaps told them how to get the hell out of there.
(That was unlikely.)
Emmanuel plucked up a smaller cloth bag with no other thoughts and strolled off towards the convenience store nearby, mostly out of, well, convenience.
The convenience store, at this point, was fairly picked over. After all, it was convenient, for both those in the Apartments and those who were probably stuck wandering outside or something. Still, there were things that Emmanuel was able to find, hiding in the corners away from obvious view.
And not only were they things, they were very useful things.
Emmanuel grinned when he came upon it. There were two packs of batteries stacked on top of each other. For some reason, they were both half-used, so it really added up to having one package of batteries. Still, one full package of batteries was hard to come by, and Emmanuel immediately put the two batteries into the tiny cloth bag.
For some reason that was all he was able to fit, because this bag was truly very tiny, and so he left to go back to the Apartments.

GATHERING NECESSITIES - DAY 14
There was always a need for more supplies, especially when your faction was a faction of Apartment-dwellers who spent half the time rather bored.
Emmanuel wasn't exactly eager to get more supplies, but he would do it. He took one of the cloth bags and headed for the door, heading back in the direction of the convenience store that had actually managed to be quite a gold mine for him in the past. Perhaps he would find more batteries?
Every day, Emmanuel was impressed to find that this convenience store still had items in it. He had visited it enough times that he was fairly sure there was no reason for anything to be left, and yet...
Perhaps people just weren't looking hard enough, or perhaps they were Infected. Emmanuel glanced over his shoulder just to check for some Infected to make sure before he started scavenging around the store for anything good-- Wait. That was definitely good. Aero bars!
Emmanuel nearly dived for them, bringing them to his nose and pretending to sniff them through the packaging. How were any of them still existent? He knew he would have to bring them back to Zelda and October, but perhaps he could convince them to give him one of the packages...
After tucking those away safely in his bag, Emmanuel looked around for anything else that might be of worth. It was mostly empty boxes and shelves at this point. He was about to give up and leave when he stepped in something decidedly wet, and looked down. ... A can of sardines? In the water? Emmanuel felt like he would need to dry heave already...
Still, when there was little option...
He found a napkin nearby to pluck the sardine can out with, shook the can out, and cautiously put it in his bag far away from his Aero bars before he left.
