Clara sighed as she shook her head. "You really need to get with the times," she teased him lightly as she nudged his arm. Her eyes were twinkling. This man was odd, but in a good way. She didn't know anyone, other than him, who did not have internet or a phone.

Jianlei Tsukino Jiànleí smirked slightly as he tilted his head, a bit amused by the human female. "Hmm, and what would those be? It isn't like I have many friends in the area who are willing to see me," he said quietly with a slight sigh; it was true, as he'd only been in the area for less than a month and his home was far out from the city, in the nearby forest. "Although I do have ways of communicating that no government can track or tap," he said with amusement.

Kaosujin Ryu alright need some action soon? Something to reveal the other world to her? Clara looked over at him. "That must be lonely. You really don't have any friends?" Her head tilted to the side as she regarded him. She couldn't imagine why he didn't have any friends. He seemed so nice and he was good looking.

Jianlei Tsukino Jiànleí shrugged one shoulder idly. "Not in this particular area, and none that would be.... subtle," he said quietly with a very faint smirk before he frowned slightly at the strong scent of blood before a body that looked like it had been mauled by an animal slammed into the seats feet away from them, though there was, startlingly... and disturbingly, very little blood seeping from ugly wounds. His gaze instinctively scanned for threats, though he didn't realize his dark gray irises had gained a soft lavender glow to them. He noticed no less than three mobs of at least six vampires each attacking the crowd from above. Stupid; attacking in pairs from all exits would have been smarter, as I found only eight exits, and they're striking from the three highest, he thought dryly, snorting slightly.

(( oh! I think I am going to have her decended from a long line of vampire hunters. Like her father never spoke of his family because he was ashamed that they killed any vampires despite them being good or not))
Clara gaze a scream as the body came crashing down. She moved back, bumping into Jianlei as her gaze went to the higher seats. She covered her mouth as she saw the carnage going. What was wrong with those people? Drugs? Something else? Suddenly someone grabbed her arm and yanked her away from Jianlei. She looked up into the darkest eyes she had ever seen filled with such malice. His teeth were pearly white with the two upper canines extended. "Let me go!" She tried to pull away, but he was way stronger then he looked.
"I don't think so pretty lady. Your blood...it smells so good." He yanked her against him and swiftly bit into her neck.

Jianlei Tsukino Jiànleí grabbed the vampire's shoulder and drove a fist into his face twice before kicking him in the groin, forcing him to release Clara as a soft emerald aura flickered around his hand, healing the wounds the vampire had caused --- unlike many of the vampires above... and unknown to Dracula himself, he was unique... even as a 'human' he'd been different, stronger than his peers and faster... because he was dhampir -- half vampire as the one who had Turned Dracula himself had, close to twenty years before, raped his mother and resulted in him, not that the ancient demon had cared; his lineage, coupled with his nature and Dracula's caution, enabled him to have very unique powers, far stronger than many others. "Ōarashi: Hēishǎn Léi," he said in a whisper before a loud crackling boom sounded as a flare of purple-black lightning blew a hole through the vampire's chest and incinerated a falling corpse before it hit the ground. He knew the body would collapse and dissolve into ashes. He also knew he was immune to the sun's destructive nature, not that Dracula nor anyone else knew. "We have to get out of here quickly... I don't know what is going on, but it isn't wise to remain in here," he said quietly, unaware the sun had gone down outside.

Clara barely had time to blink before Jianlei got the man off of her. She had felt the trickle of blood, but then it was gone as he did something to her. She blinked, looking up at him with glazed, unbelieving eyes. While he had healed the wounds, the venom that was inside the vampire bite to make their victim's docile was still coursing through her. Not as bad as the others around who could not move, because she still could. "I...I don't know...if I can," she murmured as she stumbled. "I feel....lethargic. What exactly....is happening?"

Jianlei Tsukino Jiànleí frowned slightly as he pulsed his aura through hers, knowing it would sting as the venom was pushed out where the bite had been, staining her shirt a slightly yellowish color near her collar. "Good question, and I don't know," he said quietly as he hugged her close, trying to ignore her enticing curves and how... normal... her body felt compared to his.

Clara clung close to Jianlei. Despite what she had just seen him do she felt oddly safe with him. "Do you think...we can get out of here," she whispered as she winced. The screams were getting louder and louder as more people died.

Jianlei Tsukino Jiànleí glanced around, looking up at the carnage; he hated killing, especially like this. He shifted his weight as he scooped her into his arms before he turned, pushing off the ground and landing on the stage, which at that moment was empty as they fled backstage, then into the back hallways, which fortunately were empty.

Clara wrapped her arms around Jianlei as he picked her up from the ground. It seemed like no problem to him; as if she were light as a feather. She clung to him, never having been so terrified in her life. The screams were becoming distant now as he took them further and further away. "Where...are we going?"

Jianlei Tsukino Jiànleí exhaled softly as he slid to a stop outside the arena as he cleared his throat. "No idea, frankly. Somehow, I don't think this was an accident," he muttered.

"I'd really rather not be alone if that's all the same," Clara shivered in his arms. Even though it was still quite warm outside she felt a chill go through her body. "Who...were those people?"

Jianlei Tsukino Jiànleí winced a bit as he landed at the base of a hill after sliding down it. "Call me crazy... but I think they were vampires... which I've never seen.... in those numbers... or in this country, for that... matter," he said quietly before he winced slightly. He knew something Clara didn't -- when he'd jerked the vampire off of her, the vampire's flailing claws had caught him low in the right side of his abdomen and down his thigh which was currently aching intensely. "I've seen them in Mexico and Central America, mostly... but that... I couldn't tell how many exactly there were, but there had to be between a dozen and twenty of them," he said quietly.

"Vampires? No that's not possible...they are make believe," Clara said with disbelief. Even as she spoke she knew that he was speaking the truth. Her hand went up to where the other man had bitten her not too long ago. "You....you healed me." Her mind was still reeling from what he had been saying to her and what had been happening.
