⌘ Edward Parker ⌘ ❅ Magic Aura of Team Defiance ❅ °❅°❅°❅°❅°❅°❅°❅°❅°❅°❅°❅°❅°❅°❅°❅°❅°❅°❅°❅°❅°❅°❅° The young man's nerves returned to normal seeing the situation ended up being alright regarding the coughing fit of the kid. Edward tilted his head a bit at Dante's question and responded with a light shrug. "Yea, you may have a point to that." He responded before he started eating some of the vegetables to start off. They were rather delicious, and it seemed no expense was left out for the quality of the cooks along with the food. As the boy swallowed his eyes glanced at the door seeing an albino girl around his age enter the dining car. His attention soon returned to his teammates once he made a comment about the steam. "I wouldn't know if it did. I personally don't know how asthma fully works, but I suppose it could be possible." Edward said with a slight shrug.
His free hand reached for his drink in order to quench his thirst a bit, before Dante asked his question. Edward set his drink down, and didn't respond at first because he didn't have a super important reason for attending. If anything it was mainly out of curiosity. "Well....to be honest I don't have a good reason as to why I decided to come to this school. I guess I was merely curious as to what they're offering along with the fact I wanted to learn a bit more about myself? Other than that, I don't have a true reason at the moment." The young man honestly responded with a light shrug. "What about you? Why did you decide to come to this school?" Edward questioned, before noticing his teammate looking at something.
Naturally, the sea green eyed boy looked at the same direction as his teammate, seeing that his attention had been directed at the white haired girl sitting alone until the knife wielding guy joined her, before he looked back at Dante. "Do you know her or something? Or did she just catch your eye for one reason or another?" He curiously asked in a blunt manner wondering if his teammate had become acquaintances with other people already. Dante was the first person he honestly talked with upon arriving, so he didn't know of anyone else on the train at the moment. As Edward waited for a response of any kind, he continued eating his food so it wouldn't go to waste along with giving him something to do as he waited.

Ayumu looked at the group, putting his inhaler away after taking a few more breaths. It seems his little episode has passed for the time being. "I'm fine. This happens on occasion on its' own." He then looked to Deziara and nodded. "Yeah, I do. I've had it since I was little. All the more reason why I'm trying to become stronger. My illness is the biggest obstacle that I'm trying to conquer." He didn't want his illness to be a burden to people even though he can't really help it. Normally, he only has asthma attacks when he's overexcited or pushes his body too much. There are occasions where he has a sudden attack here and there though, unprovoked mostly. He then looked around the room and noticed other people were looking over at his direction due to his coughing fits.

"Well," Dante said, "asthma narrows the pathways of the lungs and is usually only swells up when the particular person to inhaled substances. Steam usually isn't the cause, but it must have been for it to have come on him so quickly and without warning. Or," Dante finished, looking down at his meal, "it could have just been he got excited over something and it made his airways close." He looked up and smiled apologetically. "I'm a bio and astronomy major of sorts."
He began to finally eat his food, which was a mix of a hearty English breakfast and some foods he found enjoyable from Greece including chicken with rice, two dishes with different cooked sausages, and swordfish, as Edward began to reveal the reason why he came to the academy. It surprised the boy that it wasn't because of his ability, but because he simply was curious of what it all could entitle. It made him hide a frown behind his palm as he chewed slowly, and he wondered if others came not for themselves, but because they just had nothing better to do. He wondered if Edward would look down on him for having an actual reason, and shook his head lightly.
When his curly locks finally rested back into their normal position, he said nervously, "Well, um, I'm here because I'm trying to find out what I am. Why I have this power to control these."
He placed a hand in his pocket and pulled out three spheres that looked like a combination of some type of metallic material. They simply sat in the ball of his palm before suddenly raising up slowly as if they were levitating just above his hand. Without a twitch of the finger, but only a thought, the spheres began to move through Dante's splayed fingers and whip around his arms.
"I haven't really learned anything on my own, see. And I just wanted to see if anyone at this magical academy could help me... Kinda dumb, huh?" he whispered, looking down at the plates of food before placing the spheres back in his pocket before pushing up his glasses to the bridge of his nose seeing as they had fallen slightly as he looked down.
His head shot back toward Edward when he asked about the albino girl. Raising his hands quickly and shaking them, Dante replied, "Oh, no! I just, she seemed really nice and I was interested in the book she was reading. You're the first person I've met on this train," he finished.

He slightly raised an eyebrow in interest as the boy talked about the ailment. "Hmmm a bio and astronomy major of sorts huh? That's pretty impressive, especially considering science isn't my strongest subject. I didn't know that asthma entailed all of that though, but nice to know or have a general idea on how things work in my opinion." The boy admitted with a light smile as he continued eating his food. Soon after Dante responded to his question regarding his reason for attending Tokubetsu. The young man listened as he continued eating his meal, although watched the metal spheres as they were moving around. It was interesting ability to say the least. That was something he didn't expect to see as an ability, which could only mean that there were plenty of abilities that could potentially be possible. The thought intrigued him as he was curious as to what other kind of abilities there were.
When Dante finished explaining his reasons as to attending along with his respond about the girl, Edward had let out a small chuckle. His teammate had a better reason for attending compared to him. He had an actual goal in mind, while Edward's was just based off of mainly curiosity. "I guess some people would see that as 'kinda dumb' because everyone has their own opinion. In my opinion though, it's a rather good reason to want to come to this academy. It's definitely a lot better than why I originally decided to attend here. Who know's maybe I'll find an actual reason for coming here?" The young man admitted with an honest tone along with a shrug of his shoulders.
Edward brought his hand to his cheek, and leaned against it for support as his eyes went to his meal, before taking a drink of his tea. "Well if she seems really nice, and you're interested in the book, why don't you go over there, and ask about what she's reading? It is a good opportunity to meet someone new along with have a potential book to read at a later date if you so choose. Just a thought though." Edward calmly commented stating his honest opinion on the matter as he looked back at his teammate with a slight friendly smile.

Joseline would smile softly at Yuri.
"You're welcome Yuri..hmm I see so you are protective of this Angelica..it sounds rather admirable..i have known very few men but from my small experience it seems you have an obsession with her and that might not always be healthy , but i hope she feels for you what you feel for her..and it is not my place to judge i cannot honestly say i know who Kirara is exactly but i am bound to meet them at some point unless i have and have forgotten.. " Joseline noticed another two male's (Dante) and (Edward) stare at her and she felt her cheeks heat up. It was not until another Irish accent caused her to to snap out of her nerves and respond,
" t'at be true, the wee one sure does bring many eyes of worry, though i canne say i hae been witness to such kind hearts than this dayo' days.." her posture shifted in reaction to the sudden attention she could not get why she were suddenly the focal point that people were staring " wow i am used to having people question me for my albinism but never before so many eyes on me..it is a bit un nerving ..now i understand how yuri feels with women" she joked softly as the flowers as a centerpiece on the table bloomed from their buds.

 Yuri nodded when Josline said that he was protective of Angelica. "I am afraid so, To a fault probably..." He said with a slight sigh feeling upset, There was obviously something he saw in Angelica, but could not really understand if the feeling was more of a son's love or more intimate in nature, He sighed and got up from the table. "It was nice to speak to you." He said to Josline before looking to Dante. "Well, If you wanna talk to her, feel free..." He said noticing a piano in the back with no one at it, He decided to play something to occupy himself and attempt to sort out why he cared for Angelica so deeply even though they had only met a few hours before. As Yuri sat down on the piano bench he thought of a song to play, playing the entire piece of Moonlight Sonata to allow himself proper time to think.

Aria's concerned expression then relaxed as the boy reassured the entirety of the group, though there was obviously still worry lingering in their minds. "You should let whoever the higher ups are know if you need a refill, especially since we don't know how long the ride is." she insisted, though it was then that she realized she was speaking to him more as an older sister rather than an acquaintance. "Y'know, just to be safe." She gave the young boy a nervous smile before lowering her gaze again and allowing them to wander the cabin once more.
It wasn't long before she noticed that the dining car was no longer as empty as it was moments before; the seats were quickly filling with new, peculiar faces following by the choir of chatter resounding around her. Things had certainly gotten vibrant around here, even through the brewing storm outside in which she welcomed the distraction. Speaking of distractions, Aria's eyes flickered back to Yuri as she quietly watched him scurry over to the table not far from their own to greet a ghostly fair woman settled there; he had hurried over to her in such a haste, she wondered if the woman was someone he had met prior. 'So nervous..' The though chimed faintly in her head as she watched his tensed form saunter across the room, he was a jittery one.
As much as she enjoyed looking of the woman's ivory features and the dainty way that she moved, something else entirely had caught the girl's attention, and it wasn't like anything she had seen before. Silver...liquid metal? Her eyes widened: floating, silver, liquified metal, right in the palm of one of the two that had entered moments before. 'What in the world is that?' The possibilities of what it could be made her wonder, though she could only imagine it was something of that boy's specific abilities.
Metal manipulation perhaps? That sounded pretty intimidating, maybe he could even makeshift armor for himself if he needed to, or even destroy the stabilizing beams of entire buildings...how easily she could make someone so powerful in her head. She was so lost in her thoughts (and slightly uncomfortable staring) that she hadn't noticed her left hand had started strumming against the surface of the table. Her fingers rolled rhythmically over one another, following the lulling tempo of the somber melody as if playing along her own imaginary keys. It was a favorite of hers in terms of classical music, though she was enamored Beethoven in general so hearing it against the patter of rain felt...nostalgic, even with no memory to place to feeling with. Her dainty frame then began to sway in her seat as she became more and more aware of the tune playing in her ear; such a scene was like something out of an old drama novel, and something about it brought a soothing smile to her face.

Dante blushed, twiddling his fingers while his aether spheres went ballistic around his clasped hands, as Edward complimented him. He didn't usually get such niceties except from his parents and one of his sisters, and so it was a strange concept for him- and made his emotions go into haywire- when it was out of the lips of a boy he literally just met. He scratched the back of his head and genuinely smiled, his eyes turning to peer over to the beautiful albino again.
When Edward had denied Dante's doubts of how stupid it was to come to a school for an actual reason, he lit up like a christmas tree. His smile stretched from ear to ear and he was faintly aware of his spheres continuing their rapid pace around his palm. "You don't know how much that means to me," he cried, knowing if there wasn't a table in between the two boys right now he'd jump over it and hug him.
Coughing into his hand in conscious self control, Dante almost choked when his teammate brought up the girl he had been looking at moments before.
"I couldn't possibly!" he cried silently, more like a squeak really, as his dark blue orbs looked over to the girl and her book. "And- and, I couldn't just leave you here by yourself!"
As his eyes traveled back to the girl, he realized she was also watching him slightly, and his cheeks burned a dark crimson. As he watched her talk to the red haired woman, he noticed a small pot flowers beginning to grow. Is she a life bringer, he thought with such interest his eyes widened.
Stupidly, he forgot to chew the food that was in his mouth as he watched the beautiful girl and the flower pot bloom. All too soon he felt his throat squeeze painfully and his breathe come out in small gasps. He coughed once, twice, three times before the piece dislodged itself from his throat and was swallowed even more painfully. This did not stop his violent coughing fit, however, and he hoped he wouldn't be a bother to anyone else in the room.

Deziara didn't know how you could overcome asthma, much less get rid of it completely, but she enjoyed the boys enthusiasm behind it and smiled wide.
"That's the spirit, boy," she said gently. And she believed it. If you believed you could become stronger, then you could. Nothing in the world was too large to overcome as long as you put your mind to it. That was what her motto was, and she was behind anyone with the same.
Her attention quickly turned to the albino sitting behind them again and she gave a wicked smile when the girl spoke in a drawl. "It's interesting to leave such a beautiful place to come here, innit?" she asked, her green orbs slightly closing in remembrance. "Do you miss it too?"
She had turned to Yuri as he began to play a beautiful orchestration and did not see the flowers bloom on the table in front of the Irish girl. She smiled before rolling her eyes and going back to Aria, who seemed strangely captivated by the two boys sitting adjacent to them. Shrugging, she cast her eyes to the outside of the train and watched with little interest as the scenery barely changed. They were picking up speed though, and she slightly wondered if this was how fast a normal train was supposed to go...

The young man heard a piano beginning to play, and turned his attention to where it was coming from. He didn't expect that guy that was playing with the knife to be a skilled pianist. The song was familiar to him, although he couldn't quite pin the name of it. A part of him was lightly annoyed that he wouldn't be able to remember the name, but he pushed that aside in favor of listening to the classical piece. "He's pretty skilled to play the piano with such skill that's for sure........still wonder what the name of that song was......Moonlight something. I probably should've paid more attention in class at times because I'd probably remember it." The young man thought to himself. What broke him from his thoughts, and threw him off a bit was the unexpected reply that came from Dante.
Edward turned and looked at his teammate a bit confused, which was displayed by the slight tilt of his head. He wasn't sure why the boy sitting in front of him responded like that, nor would he ask because it seemed like it was a personal matter. His teammate was obviously happy about the response shown by his smile and the way the spheres seemed to be responding. "Uh....your welcome?" The sea green eyed teen said voicing his light confused tone. The young man was further confused when Dante denied his suggestion. The reasons didn't seem to make sense to him personally. He didn't find anything wrong with just conversing with someone, especially over a book, but he didn't say that for the time being.
Edward decided to instead bring his hand up, and it glowed with a light purple aura for a second. "You showed me your power, so I'll show you one of mine. I'm a magic aura, and one of my abilities is being able to construct things that basically aren't alive such as humans, animals, and other things that have thoughts or feelings. I believe I'm able to use some type of energy that's around me to make whatever I can think of. I can make them real in a sense, or more like an illusions I guess you could say. It's kind of....hard to explain. I guess it requires more energy for them to have a physical form. That's my assumption anyway." He stated in an honest manner, while thinking about what he could create. A thought came to his mind after listening to the piece of music that was playing. It was a rather good idea in his mind, and could even potentially make the music have a greater impact on those that were listening to it.
Edward closed his eyes in concentration for a few seconds, before he opened them. The hand that had been faintly glowing closed up, before reopening, and a good amount of small star-like objects appeared in his hand. The appearance was big enough to where you if you looked at them close enough you could see the movements they made as if you were looking at a sun up close. They floated up into the air, lightly shining like a star would, yet there was a faint purple like aura glow to them as they spread around the dining car. The young man looked at the 'stars' with a light smile as he kept his attention on the creations. "As for not going to talk to the girl, maybe you should reconsider. There's not a problem with getting to know someone, especially when you're genuinely curious about a book. We're part of a team with other people, so we're going to have see each other regardless. Trust me when I say, that if you choose to go talk to her that I'll be fine. Not like you'd be ditching me after all, considering it was my suggestion. Ultimately your choice though." Edward said with a calm honest tone laced in his voice along with a light shrug.

Yuri sighed some after he finished Moonlight Sonata, rubbing his temples. "Well...I think I have something more of an intimate feeling for Angelica...Though I feel...wrong..." He said softly to himself, honestly still confused about his feelings, and not feeling like he was right for having any sort of intimate feelings toward a woman, He got up from the piano, shaking his head, knowing that he was just thinking in the wrong way, deciding to just get to know her better before he made up his mind. He wanted to speak to Angelica but was torn on what to do, Go and be seen as a creep to her, or just wait. He decided on a coin flip, pulling out his wallet and taking out a coin. "Okay...Heads, I go and I see her, Tails, I wait." He said to himself as he flipped it, it came up heads, He frowned some, flipping it an additional four times to get some definite result, and the results were 3 head and 2 tails. "Alright...I guess I'm going to Angelica..." He said with a nervous sigh, hoping she wouldn't be mad and try and hit him. -Exit-

Joseline would feel completely put out by Yuri and his conversation. When Dez asked her of home she did not know what to answer, she had left it for many reasons, none pleasant, but that was not to say Ireland was not a beautiful place. The two men eyeing her made her all the more nervous and she leant forwards talking to Dez " t-they are staring at me, what should i do?" she wanted to be confident enough to invite them over the flowers on the table now spreading along the floor towards Dantes feet and stopped showing that she were aware he were staring she looked over and gave a light wave towards him before finally responding to Dez " i do miss it more than you know..but..i...i have my reasons why i had to say goodbye to it" as she saw the male cough , Joseline panicked.
She stepped up towards Dante, the flowers blooming around her feet ans she ran to his aid and stopped ready to give a heimlich if he was still choking,
" are..a-are you okay? he is okay ?" she asked Edward attentively about Dante " i came over as soon as i could" she then took the flowers from the floor picking them and took the sugar bowl with its packets of sugar and emptied the packets out using the bowl like a pestle and mortar as she used the flat of a spoon to crush the flowers into a pulp in the bowl adding some water to the mixture from a glass and presenting it to Dante " H-here drink.it should help..." she were no Magic user but she were an elementalist that controlled plants and earth. She had learnt herbalism and knew what plants were suitable in what situation she hoped she could be helpful in some way especially when a life may or may not be in danger , Joseline worried more about others than herself, any life was precious and so to preserve his own was a top priority at that moment of time.

Ayumu was eating his food quietly as the dining car became more crowded. All of a sudden, it seemed to have gotten very busy. Since there were too many conversations to follow, he just kept quiet without speaking a word. He didn't even know what to talk about anyway. He was always bad at making conversation with people even if it's with friends. He mostly just goes with the flow of things. All he did was eat his food while looking at the other people in the dining car as they conversed. It seemed everyone had a different aura around them which makes him wonder who else is here on the train.

As the entrancing melody carried on, the chatter of the dining room gradually faded into nothing more than distant white noise. After a few moments, her eyes fluttered closed as her free hand continued to dance across the tabletop as she melodically struck each ivory key in her mind with exact precision. For once in her time being there, she resisted her reflexes to keep a watchful eye over her surroundings, and instead allowed her consciousness to slip into the hypnotic tune. However her moment of peace was short-lived as Yuri vanished yet again, along with music accompanied by his presence.
A slight frown sprouted on the avian's face as her fingers quickly rolled to a stop. Although she was reluctant to face the chaos of the crowded dining car, her disappointment was met with a rather breathtaking surprise. 'Lights..?' Aria's blue orbs widened with wonder as the ceiling of the cabin had suddenly became a mural of gorgeous, violet hues and flickering shimmers of light, or rather an entire galaxy had been opened up to them right before their very eyes.
Slowly, the blonde rose from her seat as her eyes became fixated upon a single glimmering light nearest to her. She then raised a hesitant hand as if reaching to touch it, though her natural sense of caution prevented her from allowing it to graze her fingertips. The gentle glow of 'starlight' illuminated against her fair skin as the glossy sheen of her obsidian feathers rustled gently behind her. In any other situation, her instincts would've surely urged her to get out of the way, but there was something mesmerizing about the entirety of the display. It didn't take her long to follow the source of the violet light, in which she found it was one of the young men from earlier who had conjured such a scene.
It was her curiosity that pulled her along at this point as she hesitantly pulled herself over to their table. Striking up conversation was not her forte, but she couldn't help to wonder. As she approached, she noticed the ivory-haired woman had decidedly ran to the meeker boy's aid, so it was a relief that she wouldn't have to endure more than one introduction in that aspect. It was almost sad though, he seemed nice. Perhaps afterwards she could properly say hello, but for now, she left him in the...flower-trailing woman's care; '..how are they growing out of the carpet!?' Regardless, the blonde approached Edward as casually as she could muster without her cumbersome, looming wings making the approach seem threatening.
"..You, uh...made that?" she asked, nodding to the glimmering lights. She knew the answer, but as she mentioned, she was terrible when it came to typical conversation.

Dante did not know it was the albino girl who came swiftly to his aid, but when something was pushed into his hands and he was told to drink, he quickly put the bowl to his lips and drank deeply. It was strange how easily his throat seemed to open and his breathing normalized.
Getting in a few lungfuls of air, he gave a small nod to the girl and said, "T-thank you, miss. I'm sorry to have worried..."
He blushed furiously and placed the bowl back onto the side of the table. Cocking his head to the side, getting distracted for a moment by his teammates abilities, he shook his head away from the brilliant lights and scratched the back of his head while he laughed slightly.
"Would you like to sit with us? It's only fair to thank the person who probably saved me a trip to the infirmary." He scooted over slightly so that he was next to the window now, and he mentally hushed his aetheric spheres that were now passing across his arms and around his wrists.
Looking toward Edward, he gave a slight nod of apology before saying, "That's a really neat ability, Ed. It can definitely be used to defend yourself!"

When Dez turned her head toward the albino girl to answer her question, she saw with little little interest as Yuri left the car in search of something. She mustered a frown as he went, annoyed that her own teammate would not say goodbye to his. Sure, they had just met, and he seemed like the finicky type regardless, but she very much disliked those who would just up and leave without a moment's notice. If he always did so, what would that mean for their team in the future?
"They must like you," Dez replied with a grin. "Boys make it too apparent. Make 'em chase ya- or... that," she snickered as one of the boys devolved into a violent coughing fit and the girl bolted over to him. Her green orbs watched but slightly unseeing as she pondered the girl's words about leaving home not because she wanted to, but because she had to for some unknown reason.
We all have our vices, she thought before her eyes caught something shining suddenly.
She glanced upwards, around her, and realized quite quickly that whatever the things were they were surrounded. Peering back over to the table, she noticed the boy that wasn't being attended to had his palm splayed open and Dez wondered if he had conjured them. If that was so, she could relax her taut muscles. Especially, she thought, since the wee girl asked the question for me.
