The crowd popped to its feet at yet another acrobatic feat from The Phoenix Risen, showing the enginuity and athleticism his father once had, and pulling off an incredible submission much more effectively than Landry Sr. Ever had. Matthias pulled back hard on the legs and back, pressing down on the neck as he held J.W. there in the middle of the ring! The audience was screaming along!
"TAP! TAP! TAP!"

Considering Caliber's position, crawling to the ropes was pretty much impossible...not that it would do a whole lot of good anyway, since no-DQ and whatnot...
The cowboy was in a world of pain, and it was pretty obvious just by looking at him. As he weighed his options, he was just about to tap out...and then the audience started chanting "TAP, TAP, TAP!" Something about that set him off and fired up his rebellious streak! With a new fire in his eyes, J. W. started to fight through the agony, trying to reach back and grab the feet that were tying up his arms, hoping that he'd be able to pry them apart!
