Shun folded his arms as he looked over the others while they went back and forth on this debate. He did give the 'trigger-happy' knight a raised brow; he had some similar thoughts to Chel in that regard.
"Because it is not just your own life you may be throwing away here," he warned.
An all out brawl in this room wasn't what he was worried about. Not really.
"Manipulation may not even be all that obvious, should that be what occurs. Lies revealed in dark corners. Knives striking when backs are turned. Subtle sabotages. By the time any of us realizes what has happened and know we must strike you down, the damage will have already been done. And for what?"
He rolled his shoulders.
"Besides. Who's to say that this ******** isn't the one who planned for the rest to die? The casket Mordred was ultimately shoved into was in his tower."

The Throne Room had as expected a great deal of the dark crystals in it... Maybe even more then in any other part of the castle... And so when Camilla enters the room she makes sure not to let her gaze linger on any of the crystals for too long... Unfortunately the crystal covered door forced her to look at it for longer then she would have liked as she trying to think how they would get in... Oh! Thats how! Fortunately one of the knights would trigger something that would cause a passage to open up! However it was narrow so Camilla patiently waits her turn while being careful not to touch anything...
Once in tje Throne Room proper she was both surprised and not surprised by the figure seated on a Throne made not of gold and finery but of bones... It was Merlin! The last remaining of the original Great Knights! Or was it!? Suddenly as the figure would look up from under the Mantle's hood Camilla would find herself starting back at her! "Wha!?" She exclaims in surprise before taking a step back! When the offer of power comes she quickly shakes her head with a determined expression! No! That's not where she wanted to be! Not where she wanted to sit! Power such as that only corrupted! And then what was the point?! When all that you cared about was gone and the only thing left of you was but a hallow monster!?
Soon however the face would shift to one of the other knights and it would seem that they were holding a one sided conversation... Finally however the figure would stand and disappear in a whirl of robes leaving a great danger behind... A empty Throne... And unfortunately it seemed like the Throne's temptation was working it's way in luring the knight from before! "W-wait! You can't sit on that! Down in the Corridors we found Galahad sitting on such a Throne! He was mad and but a hallow shell of himself! A-and..." she pauses choking up ever so slightly "He died because of a curse cast in him! And worse yet a monster in his likeness clawed it's way out of his corpse! If you sit there the same thing may happen to you!" she says seriously in a tone that boardered on pleading! She was all but sure the throne had been Galahad's demise and she couldn't stand seeing another Knight go the way he did!

He had arrived, squeezing through the opening in the crystal that had once sealed off the throne room door. He had watched, had seen Merlin on a throne that was, in the same way as the disease like black crystals, both wondrous and awful.
And then he had seen himself on that throne as well, and had looked away. Whatever Merlin was offering, whatever ploy this was, Wrath was not having any of it.
Merlin was not who he was loyal to.
But it seemed that some discussion was being had by other knights as the man in the robes took swift leave by disappearing entirely. He watched as an arrow flew towards the throne, as well, and listened to the conversation as it unfolded.
"Perhaps she does not shoot at it because she is scared." He put in. "Perhaps it is that she has the right idea of it, and the accursed object of temptation should be destroyed." If it were even possible.

The robes fell away, allowing Maple to finally snap out of the illusion herself. Her head shook, her eyes closed and finally the conversations floating about her began to filter in full. There wasn't much to say, leaving the black knight feeling her usual useless self. (The throne had shown her promise, but here she was just standing like a statue).
Destroy it. Someone take the risk of sitting on it. (Sir Merlin possibly behind most of this? How Galahad had perished. Proved her ignorance). "Maybe.. we should... w-wait for the remaining.. G-great Kn-knights before.. we make a d-decision..." Maple suggested softly before returning to staring at the ground. More voices for ideas before anyone decided on something too rashly? And greater in numbers.

He stared at the throne, stared at the thing in the throne. Stared at himself on the throne. He watched it vanish. He watched the other knights start thinking about taking the throne. Yes, yes he could have all the imaginable power ever and be a slave to Merlin - or more likely, Morgana. Was it worth it? Probably not. If there was anything Ridon had learned in the last few days ( and it was a few days he had to remind himself since he came here ) was that power corrupted. It corrupted more devastatingly than alcohol or want. It sank into one's mind and poisoned it, making empty promises of grander. If only you did this thing for someone. If only to removed this person from power. If only you poisoned the mind of this other entity.
Ridon wanted no part of it.
"Violet Knights, do not forget the purpose we have here. That chair will do nothing by bring you ruin and death," he said in a clear voice to his brigade. They were few already. They did not need to be smaller because of a chair.

Caoin's arrow struck one of the skulls. As far as decor went, it was thematically acceptable.
Caoin sighed as the arrow just struck a skull and quivered. She then looked at everyone else. "First off, I am not scared of the darned thing.. it is not a throne that makes a kingdom, it is the nature of the one that sits upon it. Our true king could have sat on a stump and made us follow him.. because it was him we followed."
She then looked at the throne, "It is the cursed object I wished to see gone. THIS is not the throne of a king, it is the throne of a demon. Would our king have sat on a throne with skulls on it?"
She looked down at the bow in her hands, tears had stained it and her own wanted to join then. Lady Woe... so properly named. Was there nothing she could do. "Will no one else join me in getting rid of this thing?"

Pokerus could see that already things had taken a turn for the worst, in that there was a very familiar throne with a group of knights arguing over who was going to sit on it.
She sighed, folding her arms and standing well away from the arguing. If things were to take a turn for the worst, she would be quick to try defend Estel from harm.

"I'm not so sure about destroying the throne either... this may be a situation similar to the gate in the Treasure Room, where messing with it could provoke a negative reaction," she recalled how the knights had been torn between using the gate, destroying the gate, and moving the gate. It had been a disaster when the gate had finally been moved towards the mirror.
"Sure destroying the throne would get rid of the object of temptation, but if it rears up and attacks, the people with melee weapons right next to it would probably be caught up in it first with the ranged fighters following suit while losing the protection of the front line defense," she continued, giving a quick glance down at her own quarterstaff. "Personally, I would be more inclined to just leave the horrid thing alone, lest it see us as a threat in need of disposal. Or better yet, leave this room entirely so as not to be tempted by the throne or subject to anything conjured by it. If something did appear, they would have to go through the narrow passage to get to us, confining them and limiting their ability to overwhelm us. If anything, everyone can get their heads on straight once they aren't in immediate proximity to the cursed thing."
Yes, thinking. They couldn't afford any rushed actions. Their lives all depended on weighing their choices carefully.

To say the chair wasn't tempting would be a lie. To Hollandaise it spoke less of power over other and more of a power over her own fate, a place she could belong, even if she had to crave it out of unyielding rock. She listened carefully as the others spoke, fingering the shaft of one arrow.
"Perhaps if someone, someone exceptionally weak were to try it... After all, Merlin sat there and we may glean some information if we do so as well." The chair most likely spelled death, but it promised other things.

"No," Horace said decisively, pushing towards the chair. "We should either destroy it or ignore it. Sitting in it will lead to ruin." He drew Nonnie with a scrape of metal and gestured towards the throne. He eyed the girl who'd spoken of sitting a weak girl in the throne with suspicion.
"If we are to leave it, then why are we all still gathered here, like flies to honey?" He said to the girl with the quarterstaff. Horace swallowed and eyed the throne again.

Impatience burned in her blood, a sort of head-strong nature that not even the harsh slaps of the cooks back home had been able to quell. The 'place' of a knight was muddied and distant, after all that had happened. And most of the new great knights were not as decisive as many seemed to need. Hollandaise no longer knew what was 'right' and what was 'wrong'; the black and whites she'd dealt in before had been stained with the blood of the great knights who had died before. And perhaps he had been right... maybe they were all sick - maybe that was why magic seemed to find them, tempt them.
Squaring her shoulders, she pushed forward and grabbed the armrest of the throne, swinging herself up to get into the seat. The knights gathered in the room still, and there were enough that they could murder her if she became tainted. Even if she did become diseased, if doing this could glean any information at all, it was worth it. This was what being brave was, right? She had to be brave because she knew, somehow, that she had relied on others too much before. Hollandaise was not courageous, but she could pretend to be. And, a small corner of her mind whispered, perhaps she could have enough to carve out her own place in this world, somewhere she could belong without worry. Her fingers skittered across the chair.

Caoin looked at each of the people then chuckled dryly. "Weak? Can we truly define who among us is weak and who is not? One may seem weak in body but not in mind, or weak in mind but not in body. I agree that maybe leaving this thing alone is best, or destroying it, but most certainly NOT sitting in it." She shook her head slightly. "I feel that if someone uses the throne, they may.. be corrupted salvageably."
Caoin closed her eyes a moment. She feared for them all.

In the midst of indecision, someone else sat on the thrown.
"If it wasn't me, someone was going to." Accidentally she mirrored Merlin with her next words. "Someone will always rise." She looked to the others, then back to the woman that sat. "I hope you trust a stranger more than me."
With that, she began to walk towards the exit of the throne room. Whatever was about to happen was not something she wanted to be a part of. It was just like the treasure room; she ran from things that didn't immediately concern her.

Kari stared at the knight that suggested a weak individual sit on it. "That would only guarantee someone's death and possibly put us in a poor position," she commented, vehemently denying the notion of sacrificing one of her allies for information. "I'm not of the mind to send someone to their demise for my own needs." A question drew her attention away from the gold knight.
"Because there are those of us who are being tempted by its mere presence," Kari replied to the white knight, her gaze falling upon those who'd voiced their acceptance of using the throne. "And one or two people leaving would do nothing to alleviate those already being pulled in. If we are to leave, it should be as a group so no one is left behind to fall prey to their desires... to create another Sir Galahad." She shuddered in remembrance of the grotesque figure that had emerged from the cursed Great Knight
"I sincerely believe that if we all go back through this passage, we will all be able to think more coherently. I think we should all ignore the throne for now and regroup outside, at least until the rest of the Great Knights arrive." Kari stepped towards the passage, wrapping Shinobu lightly against the floor for added emphasis. She didn't want the 'power' the throne offered, but she couldn't deny that there was a certain draw from it. This place was dangerous, especially for those with weaker will.
Then someone sat on the throne... the gold knight from before. "No... you fool..." Kari groaned, fearing the worst was about to happen.
