[Attacking the Gate] Remaining Gate HP: 49

The people who were moving the gate had gotten it surprisingly far. Chaya fired another arrow, and bit his lip. It didn't look like they were going to be able to destroy it before it got to the mirror, and he was very concerned about what might happen when the two objects made contact.

[MOVING THE GATE: TOTAL MOVEMENT = 104 ]
(Action 3/3)

Chaos. Clanging of weapons, the whizzing of arrows through the air. It made it difficult to push the gate at all without being struck along with it, but Wrath refused to quit. There were others there, moving the gate with him, talking as they went. He gave them each a large, if somewhat strained smile.

"We will get it there. We will." He grunted, turning so that his back was pushed against the gate as he dug deep, pushing with all of the might left that he could muster, pushing past the pain in his battered ribs and cut up arms, pushing until he couldn't push anymore, and he was left slumping forward with a gasp, his hands going to his knees.

But a glance over his shoulder showed him that they had made it, that the gate and the mirror were now together. He let out a ragged laugh, and straightened, though it was evident in the way that his shoulders still sagged just slightly that pushing the gate had taken a lot out if him.

She was rescued by the Great Knight Morgan, who killed the giant snake monster. He demonstrated his ultimate power, the power she wished to possess in order to take revenge (?). It was a weird feeling - what she wanted to take revenge for? Human kind, it must be, it was the only answer that seemed suitable.

"Come with me," said Morgan.

She followed, as he walked in a hurry as if they were heading somewhere. The gate - he talked about as they went downwards, they normally stay at the ground floor or upper for medical heal but not knowing there was an area beneath. A basement, she immediately figured it out. They arrived to a damaged door, obviously sealed. The offensive team followed the Great Knight in and what they saw made their mouth agape in shock.

Golden color filled up the vision, Morgan called and she was ready to go help moving the frame, because it was their ultimate goal to stop the shadows. Shu made a step forward but distracted by another Great Knight's arrival.

She was Merlin's knight, not Morgan's. So she stepped back, listened to the argument of the three Great Knights. It was very confusing because the apprentice thought they should focus on the shadows but the three heads were on dispute of how to treat the gate and mirror. Her mouth opened when the three locked in combat. Different group of knights and knight apprentices finally gathered again, some were attacking the gate while some moving it towards the mirror as Morgan ordered. Some were - standing and looked with a confused expression just like her.

While some knights working their way to slowly destroy the gate, more knights went to move the gate and soon it had been successfully moved to the mirror. She waited, to see if something Morgan said would happen, the mirror would save their world.

On the other hand, she was worried. Objects with too strong power could be bad when they are misused or out of control. Would it be that ideal? Being suffered from shadows' endless attack, her hope had been bit-by-bit weakened. She wasn't sure what to do, so she just stood there.

[MOVING THE GATE: TOTAL MOVEMENT = 106 ]
(Action 1/3)

Noemi followed Percival, Standing behind the blue great knight with her trident drawn in front of her. The scene was one she didn't seem to agree with, Morgan already earning a look of disdain from the small knight.

His destruction, she assumed, would lead to the destruction of them all and she didn't want to end that way.

Gawain was no better, destroying a 2 sided weapon could only lead to another sort of destruction, one where a defense was not used. Noemi saw nothing but the words that Percival spoke to be the truth.

Their defense together would bring a peace to the king. The shield they would all have to bear.

The girl drew her trident up again and then look to the mirror. It had to be moved, and while the three great knights fought, she wanted to act in stead of her knight. So she went up to the mirror and pushed, with all her might. Though it didn't need to go further, the girl stood at its defense. Should anyone want to face her, they could.

She would defend by defending.

Exhaustion clung to the boy like a wet cloak. Brenley would have flopped onto the nearest cot as soon as the green knight had taken a seat and poured himself a drink if the man hadn't also continued to speak. What Gawain said next gave Bren pause, and he was compelled to follow, would have been even if he hadn't already pledged to do so. They had to see if the others had made it through, if only so they would know how many still stood with them against the shadows.

The great knights spoke of troubling things, but Bren could only ponder what they had spoken of while he kept moving, descending deeper and deeper beneath Camelot until he emerged in a golden room, or rather, a room filled with gold. At the middle of the pack, the apprentice only saw the treasures long after the fight had begun and the gate had been moved. Though it was too late to do anything there, he could still defend his knight.

As the two walked towards the ruckus. Koray twirled his quarterstaff in his more able hand, resting it on his shoulder he looked over at the other male. He gave Noah a nod. "Good luck out here..." as he walked in and took note of the situation he glared at Morgan. "You idiot. You bull-headed....Noah. I'm going to aid Sir Percival against Sir Morgan. You pick what you want. Looks like there's options. Go with your gut, my brother. I don't think our siblings are doing anything less. I'll see ya around..."

[Attacking the Gate] Remaining Gate HP: 46

As the snake was defeated, Morgan began to mutter something that confused Wilson, but he dutifully obeyed anyways. Although he was not the Great Knight he had pledged loyalty to, he still held authority over the apprentice. His lips pressed together when they entered an unfamiliar room. Were they even supposed to be in here? He watched Morgan push open the door and bristled when two more Great Knights arrived. Wilson turned around and tried to back off, allowing the knights to walk forward and let the trio stand in the center.

They were quarreling over the next course of action, but Wilson was afraid he could not fully follow what they were trying to say. He figured it was due to the lack of information given to lower knights and apprentices like himself, and in the end he found himself drawn to different aspects of each knight’s proposal. He could see the merits in each plan, but in the end they would have to pick only one of the plans and stick with it.

Lips pursed, he stared at the gate. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. When he opened them again, Wilson drew his bow and fired off an arrow.

But of course, it was too little, too late. The other apprentices had already made their decision to apparently follow Morgan and move the gate to the mirror. At least, he assumed that was what needed to happen if they wanted to follow Morgan’s plan. Wilson reached up to rub his forehead. Was this even the right decision? Could he still break the gate before the mirror actually did anything to it?

Would it instead be better to talk to one of the Great Knights and request clarification? He could only stand there and continue to ponder helplessly.

"It's done you can't stop it any more," finally the gate had reached the mirror. She stood back watching around her as knight clashed with knight. The great knights swarmed by knights of other factions, those attacking the gate still trying but it was too late. Whatever would become of this plan, the fruits of their labor would soon be revealed. She only hoped that whatever happened a giant arm would reach out and snatch away the darkness and a certain Red knight while it was at it.

The scene was absolute chaos, and Noah hesitated on the edge of the room, unable to make a quick decision. The Knights all had valid arguments - not to wait for the King's decision was treason, at least technically, and the Gate was dangerous, but they were trapped in the castle, in a dire situation, and if it could be turned to their advantage, maybe it was worth the risk. He wasn't convinced they weren't all going to die anyway. Maybe they should take the risk that might work.

It looked like other knight-apprentices shared his opinion, and they had hauled the gate toward the mirror. Noah's head ached. Were they doing the right thing? Could they afford to wait to find out?

[Shayne was a bit too late enter and attacking the mirror]

As he followed Morgan to the treasure room, Shayne was in awe as he saw the shiny treasure. However, his awe expression quickly washed away as the Great Knight began to argue with each other. To Shayne's surprised, the three great knights was locked into battle with each other. "Why are they fighting with each other? We need to do something; Anything that will put a stop those monsters." He told himself as he was wondering what will he do. Not moving or destroyed the gate probably buy them some time. However, it wouldn't stop those evil being from getting in. Just moving the mirror seem so points since the beasts would just keep coming after it.

Shayne closed his eyes as he started to feet the fear slowly taking over his body. "T-The only thing that would put an end to this mess. Is to destroy that mirror, huh?" The redheaded boy mumbled to himself as he loaded a bolt into his crossbow. "I disagree what Gwen said about the king. However, destroying that cursed mirror is the best bet." He added as reopened his eyes. "I don't know what will happen afters. However, I can't have anymore doubts in my heart. Camilla, if this isn't the right choose. Please forgive me." Shayne began to pulled the bolt back as he was getting ready to fire it. "Here goes nothing!" Shayne yelled as he shot the bolt into the mirror as he was having no doubts that this was the right thing to do. However, the bolt missed the mirror and just hit the wall.

"Dang, I'm too late!" Shayne mumbled to himself as he turned and faced the three knights that was still locked into battle with each other. "I really don't want to go head-to-head with a Great Knight." Shayne told himself. However, Shayne began to run towards Sir Gwen. If he was talking so badly about the king and was thinking about himself. We need to deal with him because Knight shouldn't put himself before others. Well this is what Shayne believe in his heart.

[ Enter Xanther - a bit late but... ]

[Action 1/3] (?)

Xanther stared at the combat with widen eyes. Who would think this siege could turn the Great Knights against each other. This was all tumbling down into a disaster. Now he's question remained. What to do now? Move or destroy the gate-- a catastrophe surely awaited them all no matter whose side they were on. And what was these sidhe the great knights were talking about? How is it possible the were all unaware and naive? There were more enemies to worry about and that important piece of information was revealed now of all times. Great... This is just great. Xanther thought as he pulled out his rapier from its sheath. Seeds of doubt were implanted in his mind. What if-- What if they knew more? What else could they possibly hide from them?

He looked around, not paying attention to the treasures inside, it was clearly not the time for that. The black haired male saw the other knights fight against each other. Everyone took sides whether or not to destroy or preserve that wretched gate and knights fought each other, persuading in such a violent way to prove their points.

Move, preserve... Destroy, protect... Those words raced through his mind. If they protected the mysterious gate, who knows what thing could emerge from it and even if the Great King could wield it-- a power that big could corrupt him.

But...

If it was destroyed, the sidhe wouldn't take possession of it-- no one would. It seemed like the most logical solution to this conflict.

He had made his choice a little too late. Red pools stared at the immense gate as the others successfully moved the gate. No, no NO! He thought as they preserved the mirror. "What are they thinking?"

It seemed that safety fueled everyone's ambition... and turned them against each other. Something told him he needed to attack the one who started all of this or at least negotiate. Even if he is the leader of his fraction.

Nkosazana knew that her fight against the gate was hopeless with the rate the others were shoving it towards the mirror, but she had no idea it would happen so quickly. Stumbling back, her heart pounding through her chest, Nkosazana watched as the mirror and the gate touched, powerless to stop it or anything that might result from it.

Nearly dropping her swordstaff in the process, Nkosazana fell back, attempting to stay as far away from whatever this might cause as possible. This couldn't be the right thing. This could not go well. Something was going to go wrong. They were dooming themselves. They were all going to be doomed. Morgan's solution was too good to be true, and Gawain was right. That gate needed to be destroyed moreso than anything else.

Perhaps she was being overly paranoid, but Nkosazana did not like this. She didn't like any of this. The Great Knights were fighting amoung themselves, they had taken an action that could end up ultimately causing them more problems than anything else, and they all appeared to be turning against each other.

She sat herself on the floor, figuring there wasn't much else she could do, at this point.

[ Enter Julian ]

Well. This was a disaster.

Everything fell to pieces around them, the great knights going for each others' throats instead of working together as a team, and Julian was left blinking at the mess in a baffled sort of way. All of a sudden, he'd gone from one boss barking orders to many, barking conflicting orders.

Simply put, he didn't deal with it well. The mirror kicked into motion, and the fighting began, and mostly Julian just stood back and watched. No team felt instinctively like his team, no group felt like the one to which he belonged. The only thing was absolutely certain about was that the mirror had to move.

He just, well, wasn't a lifter.

So instead he followed its movements, watching in a breathless sort of way while other people scrambled to get it to its goal, his expression bright. following it without quite putting a hand on it, altogether too excited about the prospect of what might happen once it reached its goal. He didn't remember his life before he came here, before he poured memories into a box, but he didn't think he'd even been exposed to quite this much magic before. It felt too new, too exciting.

At some point, he turned to the man he'd been travelling with the whole time, more excited than afraid in this moment -- and pointed a long finger in his direction. It made him stumble in his movements, a fumbling step to the left before he caught himself.

"Ezekiel, if you attack that mirror, I'll never speak with you again." Not that it mattered. It was too late, even as he finished the thread: the mirror reaching the gate and things moving into the next stage. He blew out a breath, slow, and settled in to watch the rest of it.

[ Enter Ezekiel ]

Disaster was one way to put it.

Even up in the great hall, when the knights had first converged to discuss things before ordering them all down into the treasure room, things seemed to have been falling apart. It was a little unreal, a little too unexpected. It was overwhelming in a way, and Ezekiel found himself hanging back with Julian as the blonde followed the progression of mirror and gate.

When a thin finger pointed in his direction he blinked at it, gaze flicking up to focus on pale features as a threat was tossed in his direction, and dark brows dipped in response. "Wasn't planning on it." He didn't know what he was planning on, but that hadn't been it. Honestly, he didn't have a clue what to do. Without any sort of context nothing seemed like a good idea.

They had been told to fight, to attack each other, or the knights, or the gate itself, but why? No one had bothered to answer that. To Ezekiel, it seemed as though they were at threat regardless of which direction they chose, and that just sounded like awful odds.

It wouldn't rally have mattered if he had wanted to attack the gate or the mirror. By the time the threat had left Julian's lips the one had reached the other. His attention rose from the blonde and towards the action. He had a bad feeling, but it was hard to place what exactly was triggering it. Whatever the source, it had the fine hairs on the back of his neck trying to crawl their way down his spine.
