Made it. Barely, too, as Dawson had gone through the course enough times that day to tucker him out. He nearly fell over as the portal closed after him, tiredly chuckling as a tech slapped his back and told him good job.

"Tha' offer still good?" he panted, looking to Gretchen sheepishly as he wiped sweat off his brow.

When he returned to her Gretchen was crouched with her back against the wall and her phone in her hand. She appeared to be scrolling though a twitter feed, but as Dawson came up to her she tucked it away and flashed him a bright grin. "Yeah, definitely."

Still all smiles, and apparently having not at all minded the wait, the girl straightened up with a little bounce, hands disappearing into her back pockets. "I would say we've earned it, wouldn't you? Maybe they'll have some cake or something, cupcakes, brownies." Her voice melted into a near moan of longing at the very thought.
