Another night, another round of shooting! Luxara and Forera are back at it again a couple of hours after dusk, staffing the booth like the pros they are. After cleaning the guns, using duct tape, putting up a sign that says YOU BREAK IT YOU PAY FOR IT, and mounting the guns on the table before adjusting the targets so that they're juuuust right, Luxara stands on the booth and announces,
"Trigger Happy is oooooopen! Happy hunting!"

Troll name: Regizzles Marian Target: All row 3 Day's point total: 0 Back at the booth for a third try, Regina was amazed to see her shots whizz right through the exact same holes they had created the day before. She was still just shy of winging the targets, but that was pretty impressive in itself. If she could just manage to compensate for the angles, she might even have a chance of hitting things properly. And hey, this was a challange! Fun! Though it hadn't looked like the two girls had used the money to buy new guns, and she was glubbed if she was gonna toss any more away on those flighty broads. Giving them a long look, she trundled away back into the crowd.

Troll name: Anguis Serpen Target: Row 1 Day's point total: 2
Anguis found himself at the booth, yet again. Well, if he was going to man it, he might as well play the game. Taking the gun, he squinted at the target before pressing the trigger and (unsurprisingly) hitting it. It was just a warm up though, in case Forera thought otherwise.

Troll name: Anguis Serpen Target: Row 3 Day's point total: 2
Okay, it was time to try the third row and once again show up Forera. It was Anguis' time to shine! Or it was, until he missed both targets in the most spectacular fashion. In fact it was kind of embarrassing how he managed to miss, once due to that greenblood's coat (rude) the other was just... well maybe he decided to try and close his eyes and hope for the best. Either way, it was kind of pitiful how bad he'd done.

Troll name: Cebass Lusita Target: Row 3 Day's point total: 6
Cebass really target this time was for no other reason to prove that he was currently the best there was at this booth. He was never going to let up on the furthest targets no matter what. If it wasn't the furthest then it wasn't worth his time. He had for sure found his calling during this event.
His first shot, he was trying to imitate what he saw of the other trolls that had hit the back, maybe a couple of them had something. More specifically he was trying to imitate the only troll that was rivaling his score. That one was a 'professional' after all, right? at least that's what he heard. He missed, well that was probably predictable. Just doing what he was doing before seemed to work better especially when he wasn't tripping over people.
Next shot, oh dear great merciful horror was it noisy. But it was a time for that after all wasn't it? By sheer determination, he positioned his gun and fired. Bullseye! this brought him up 6 points. He'd like to see anyone else match him. Cebass lowered the gun for a moment and shook out his arm. He wasn't used to carrying this weight, even if it was just a toy it was still kind of heavy and his arms were getting tired.
The last shot really messed with his already tired arms. His grip gave out just as he was firing and the recoil caused him to lose the gun. Nobody was hurt, but he did miss the target by a wide margin. Altogether though, not a bad run. He'd have to remember this for later. He wondered if maybe anyone could teach him a thing or two about firing guns, sure talent was great but maybe learning a thing or two would be benificial.

Troll name: Kursha Vidari Target: Row 3 Day's point total: 6 After his discussion with Luxara, Kursha was sore-tempted not to return to the booth. It would serve her right. He could always find something else to do. In the back of his thinkpan though, Kursha realised he was being a sore loser. It was something of a painful realisation; there was no justification for his ill-tempered behaviour which was a little embarrassing, but more importantly he had lost. That was unacceptable. Trying to play it cool despite his failures both competative and emotional last night, Kursha wandered into the booth. Luxara and Forera were momentarily distracted and he was able to slip past them, unnoticed. Perfect. He was not in the mood for another lecture, or worse jeering. Somehow he had managed dodge the tealblood thus far and for as long as he could he intended to continue that streak of avoidance. Kursha picked up the rifle and glowered at the distant targets. Things would be far different if he could use his own weapon. That was probably considered cheating though. If ripping off a crappy little scope was an issue, they would for sure have a problem with him replacing the whole gun. It was so stupid, it made his head hurt. Swallowing his flaring temper, Kursha raised the stock to his shoulder. No abilities. No modified firearms. No special bullets. Just simple, straight-up shooting. He just had to focus. Closing one eye, Kursha glared through the scope and squeezed the trigger. Three shots fired off in rapid succession.

Tonight was starting off with a few somewhat familiar faces. Which was good! It meant people liked coming back. Luxara was too busy watching Anguis shoot to notice Kursha saunter in. "Awww, man, that blows," she said empathetically when Anguis missed the back row shots. "Maybe you'll get a better hang of it tomorrow?" Forera seemed to tease her twin a lot, so trying to cheer him up was the least Luxara could do.
In the meantime, she turned to check out the rest of the shooting session. ...Oh. The usual crew indeed. "Kur! When'd you get here?" Luxara leaned to the side to get a better look at his shots. Well, he managed to hit a targer today. "Nice hit." She untilted back to her original position leaning over the booth table, inside the booth itself but far enough to the side that she wouldn't get hit by any wayward bullets. "You...uh...find any other interesting booths? We haven't really chatted much..." She was obviously trying to make small talk. Very awkward small talk. Efforts to get away from the lingering feelings from yesterday, but also beating around the bush when it came to other things.

“Thirty minutes ago. Where have you been?” Kursha replied sarcastically. “It doesn't take that long to shoot. Just a minute or two, moron. Who was the miniature of tinpan over there?” He nudged his head in the direction of Forera and her twin, nonchalantly resting the barrel of the rifle against his shoulder. His ego was momentarily sated by Luxara's compliment. The corners of his mouth quirked into a smile. “Not much. Her Royal Highness has a dart game up, which is harder than it looks. There's also a FLARP type deal.” Kursha rolled his eyes. “A lot of real mawkish crap honestly. I did see a juggalo booth though. Thinking about dropping by at some point and seeing how mirthful the clown really is. What about you?”

"Oh, well, I figured with how much you just have to win this total pro game I thought you might want to line the shots up perrrrrfectly," Luxara sassed right back with a characteristic grin. Before it could turn into a baby spat, Kursha gestured towards Anguis. "Oh, Ang? He's For's twin! They hatched from the same egg. Isn't that kinda neat? Unusual, but cool."
Luxara's grin tighened a little at the mention of the queen. So that explained that over-secure seadweller booth. "Oh. Well, I guess that's nice. The, uh, fact she has a booth. Must be better than being holed up in a castle all the time." It was a nice PR stunt, but this was the same troll who let highbloods hunt lowbloods for sport and treat them like dirt in general. Whatever. A kiddo needed help with lining up the gun to the target, so she helped out with that in the meantime while Kursha kept talking.
It didn't really matter to her that he wanted to take a shot at an indigoblood. Trying to ward him from pissing off the highblood might give him incentive. Kursha could be exhausting like that. "I've mostly been here when I'm not getting our team the big trophy for this year. ...Oh. I did play a ball-toss game one night during my break. I got a couple of nice plants out of it." Little Miss Home Remedies would appreciate potted flora. "I sunk a ball in the 'impossible' pot, too." Luxara added with some proud flair after she didn't need to help children with aiming anymore. "And I guess I...did see something I kind of..." She rubbed the back of her neck, expressing an awkward, vulnerable grin for a moment. "Well, there's a booth I wanted to go to with you on, y'know, a nice night when we're all in a good mood n' stuff, but it's not a game booth or anything so I don't know if you'd even be interested. In that kinda thing." In me.

Troll name: Pragma Comsen Target: row 3 Day's point total: 8 Now that his stance was corrected, Pragma decided to take a gamble and aim for the back room. Using the scope attached to the gun, he focused, breathed, and pulled on the trigger...SUCCESS. Pragma couldn't believe it. He'd hit a target in the back row! Today really was a great day.

Troll name: Voscil Torgny Target: Row 2 Day's point total: 4+4+0=8 (wtf this kid knows how to aim)
Voscil was back at the shooting range, and hopping up on the counter with a bit of backing up before all but leaping and settling down in her now seat. There was that wicked cackle from Forera again. Yipping in surprise, she squeezed the trigger, firing in rapid fire succession as she laughed right along with the girls booming voice. "You're so silly!" She huffed at her playfully as she shook her head, poking her toungue out in good fun. As she fussed around with teasing the tealblood, and checking in on her awesome shooting instructor (even if the information had lead to her missing wildly) She was leaning on the rifle all wrong.
The kick back on her shoulder made her wince as she clung to the object awkwardly and grit her teeth. Okay, guns really weren't for messing around with. Her hold on the barrel was awkward enough to begin with, that certainly didn't inspire her to want to try using one outside the events at blood fest that was for darn sure.
