Not really wanting to break the moment but knowing if she sat there any longer it would become awkward she tentatively she unbuckled the seatbelt with a soft click. Once free of the restraint she reached for the door handle. She fumbled for a moment as she figured out where it was before the door swung open gently. She hopped out of the care before turning around to look back in at him.
"You take care of yourself." She said as she looked back in. "I'll be looking for you at school. You better not make me worry."
The last words came out and in a rush she closed the care door maybe a bit too loudly but didn't think anything of it as she rushed to her house. She ran alongside the house and didn't stop moving until she was safely back into her bedroom, changed back into Pajamas, and tucked into her bed.
She laid there looking up at her ceiling while her heart began to slowly recede to a normal pace while a silly little smile spread across her face before she finally fell asleep.
