He nodded over his shoulder at a dancing couple,
"Please help."
"I don't really do the 'threaten to maim' thing anymore. I am a princess, and must act accordingly." Maturity seems to have finally taken hold of the tiny princess, thank goodness. She didn't mind dancing, it actually made her happy. Being forced into things? Not so much.
"You're a rather impulsive sort, Charlie. Who do you want to dance with so badly?" Taking a chance to look over her shoulder, she had some clue as to who he might have meant.

He glanced nervously at the couple again, then leaned in close to whisper in Rae's ear,
"I think you know. It's sudden, but I think I'm in love, Rae."
Charlie tried to make her understand the urgency of what he was feeling by staring into her eyes, nothing but earnestness written on his face,
"But I think they are too. With someone else. I've gotta try before it's too late, you know? No regrets."

Only teasing a little, he did want to see how she danced when not instructed. For all he knew, she might teach him something new.

She shook her head. "No I've never heard it before." Her voice was just a little louder than usual to speak over the music. Her free hand gripped the skirt by her side and swished it back and forth a couple times. "I'm a little nervous..." she admitted, tone a shade softer as stared at the floor diagonally.OOC: In our hearts? X3

Giving her hand a little squeeze, he looked down at her with a smile.
"I promise to be gentle, and I am not judging. How can I set you more at ease?"

She smiled a little shyly. "That won't be necessary." she promised, wanting to do better then her nerves allowed. Without thinking she pulled him out to the dance floor, moving away from the speakers as the music started to swell. Keeping his eyes in her sights she moved intuitively around the other couples, placing her other hand to hold the back of his neck. Her foot hit the ground with every strike of the bass, winding a blind path through the crowd in bold, sweeping strides.OOC: Yessss. I knew it was that, I just knew it.
I might as I am able, but I don't have a very broad range of items right now. Will do though.

Sammy nodded, once, slightly. Her expression was fixed and serene, her inhibitions cast aside for the duration of the dance. Her feet moved without instruction, thoughts reduced to nothing more than an indicator of where they were free to go. Speechless for the time, she just kept staring into his eyes. OOC: It looks pretty fun, but I feel a little odd asking for assistance.

OOC: It looks pretty fun, but I feel a little odd asking for assistance. Smiling, he simply gazed back at her. She seemed to be doing well, just going with the flow. Very good considering she wasn't familiar with the song.
"Is it difficult to talk and dance, Sammy my dear? You can just nod if it is."
Winking, he grinned slightly. He didn't want her to get so lost trying to concentrate that she didn't have fun.

With that, Sammy blinked, her movements gradually slowing. "N-no..." she laughed in a breath, closing her eyes for a moment. "Something just had me distracted."OOC: Thinking ahead for tomorrow's outfit, I'm working on making Sammy cosplay as Ramona Flowers.
Almost done, but hit a bit of a snag.

Almost done, but hit a bit of a snag. As she slowed, he drew her in a bit and proceeded to lean her back in a dip.
"Mm, and what might that be?"
Holding the dip a moment, he then brought her back up continuing the dance.
((Was there something you needed, or are you not sure how to achieve a certain aspect? ))

Sammy blinked her eyes open and looked up at him mid-dip, a surprised gleam twinkling in them. "I just...thought I saw something beautiful." she murmured, pulled upright again.OOC: Ran out of money for her skates. But I have an idea I think should work.
