Before she headed inside the pokemon center, Alexandra returned a grateful Xion to her pokeball, leaving just Caldo out to walk beside her. They'd spent quite some time here, and although she wasn't quite as ready to face Wattson as she wanted she figured that they could find a few other pokemon to battle and train against before pitting her team against the third gym leader's. Of course, there was also her social life, which seemed to expand every few minutes: this would about the sixth time she replied to one of her messages.
"Did it really?" Alexandra spoke into her Poketch as she walked, head bent down as she walked. Caldo glanced over to her, only to realize that her comment hadn't been directed to him. The two walked inside the pokemon center, the counter their destination. "That's amazing! Will you let me look at it? I've never seen a Flygon before." Caldo was returned to his pokeball for the sole purpose of being treated faster, him and the rest of her pokemon, but he was out and about the second he'd been returned. "I'm glad to hear that everyone came out alright, we'll talk more once we meet up, okay Marx?"
Alexandra lifted her head once her message had been sent, eyes scanning absently over the building's interior only to stop on a familiar face. "Marx?" oh, but she'd just sent him a message... oh.. oh well! This certainly made meeting up much easier. With Caldo in tow, the teenager strode over to her friend, who was accompanied by a blonde girl. Any lingering anger she'd carried for the male melted away as she greeted him with a hug, promptly forgetting the fact that she'd once chastised him on hugging others without their permission, "Marx!"
She drew back, only then realizing how... abrupt her embrace, and very presence, must've been. Alexandra folded her hands at her stomach and bowed once. "Excuse my rudeness." she murmured, directing the apology to both Marx and his companion. She pulled back up and to the blonde offered a small smile, "hello there."

Marx grinned, nodding and moving towards the counter. He placed his pokemon up for healing, but blinked as he stepped back from the counter, hearing what he thought was a familiar voice. He shifted to turn around, but just as he did, a form suddenly collided with him, arms wrapping around him in... a hug? He blinked a few times, then looked down, before his eyes widened in recognition. "A-Alexandra!" he yelped, before immediately returning the hug, arms wrapping securely around her before she could pull her away.
He buried his face in her hair, just short of shaking, so relieved to see his friend. He hadn't actually seen her since their pokemon were all kidnapped, and things started going south... And meeting face to face was different than talking through the holocaster. He just barely managed to pull himself out of it and recollect himself, drawing away with a slightly shaky, but happy smile. "H-heh.. s... sorry...." he stuttered, holding on a moment longer, then dropping away, his arms falling back and his hands holding together behind his back as a sheepish smile crossed his face.
He shifted, glancing at Cheria, then relaxing a bit, turning to the girl as he gestured to Alexandra. "Cheria, this is my friend, Alexandra. Alexandra, this is my new friend, Cheria! We met in... uh... was it Oldale town?" he tried to recall, scrunching his face up in thought as he scratched the back of his head. He gave up, though, shrugging with a smile. "She came with me to get my stylus and start as a Ranger!" Because that... was clearly relevant.

Chris went up to the counter with Marx, and handed Sheena, Jun, and Alamas over. Afterwards, she returned Jun to his ball as Sheena jumped up to perch on her head, and then let out Aaron. The Kirlia looked up at Cheria with a bit of an annoyed expression, but he let it go since it was because she'd been with Marx. It was a big deal to her. Suddenly, however, a woman ran up to Marx and hugged him, which surprised Cheria. Not that he was being hugged, but at the fact she came out of nowhere. It seemed Marx was really happy to see this woman, too. Actually, more like...relieved. As if he thought she was missing or something. Did it have anything to do with the "horrible incident" he mentioned before? The woman seemed to regain herself and apologized for her rue behavior - wait, what? - and then greeted Cheria. Marx introduced them and she smiled at he other. She wouldn't admit it since she didn't want to hurt Marx's feelings, but it was a great weight off her to have another woman around. Even if it was temporary. "Yep. Oldale. It's nice to meet you, Alexandra." Cheria looked at Marx when he mentioned her going with him for his Ranger training, and she sweat dropped again. It was true, but it didn't seem like something relevant to the conversation. Unless he'd mentioned it over his messages. What did she know? "This is Sheena and Aaron.""Froa-kie!" Aaron simply gave an acknowledging nod before he turned and started walking around, though he stayed close to Cheria.
Out of all the many reactions Alexandra had expected, the level of relief Marx exuded certainly wasn't one of them, and as flattering as it was it was also a bit concerning. Questions jumped on her tongue, begging to be asked, but they were held at bay by a sense of inappropriateness: there was a time and place for everything, and she didn't know just how much the brunette had told his other companion-- Cheria was her name-- and she wouldn't put him in a position where he'd end up revealing anything he didn't want to.
"It's quite alright." Alexandra dismissed his apology and in the same breath greeted Cheria more properly, "a pleasure, Cheria." she turned to look at the pokemon she introduced and extended the greeting to them as well. "This is Caldo." the Monferno beamed at the new faces, waving to all three excitedly. An amused expression crossed her face when Marx mentioned his and Cheria's travel for him to become a Ranger and she smiled. "Well isn't that nice, congratulations on becoming a Ranger!" what sort of requirements did it take to become a Ranger she wondered. Rangers were the few pokemon related occupations that didn't involve actually catching a pokemon, it was quite a bit different than being a trainer. It was a brief thought but... just how well would Marx be able to cope and adjust to it. "Cheria, do you mind me asking where you're from?" Alexandra turned to look at the blonde, though her eyes lingered on Sheena before flickering back to her trainer. From its call she gathered that the pokemon was a 'Froakie', which was one of the starters from the newest region. "Or more specifically, are you from Kalos?" if she was, that meant she could ask her a few questions! The only other trainerS she knew from the region were Rose and Shenaiya, and she'd never gotten the chance to ask either any questions that had pertained to their home region. But, but, but if Cheria was she could ask her! Just a few! Maybe three.. or five?

Marx was quite literally bouncing with joy, and beamed only brighter when Alexandra congratulated him on beginning his task of being a ranger. "Hehe, thanks!" He was so happy! He had just finished a trade with his new friend to give her a pokemon she really wanted, which meant he also had a new friend, his pokemon, and now he had encountered Alex, and she was fine, and she and Cheria were talking, and hwa s a ranger, and, and, and! "Haha, oh man, this is awesome! I gotta go run!" he decided, snatching up his pokeballs as they were placed on the counter. "I'll be right back!" They were talking anyway, and, well... he really needed to get this energy out!
Letting the girls talk, he bolted out the door, sprinting and nearly losing his footing in the sand, before regaining his balance and practically flying over the beachy ground. Most normal people didn't get so happy they had to go and physically run around just from a few good things happening, but, well... he wasn't normal, and he was really happy. He felt so free from everything, and he was so glad things were going well! He made a new friend, and Cheria was even going to come meet some of his other friends, and now Alex was here! He flopped onto his back near the water, sighing happily, breathing a bit faster after having ran around so much. But, man, he felt great... He started to get up, to go find the girls, but blinked as he noticed his Holocaster had a few messages. Funnily enough, one was from Alex-- he'd talk to her about that later. First, he decided to reply to the others.
He listened to Rose's message first, grinning when he heard that she and Shenaiya had got together, quickly pulling up a response so he could reply. "That's great! I just came across Alexandra, so I'll try and head to Kalos soon! And I invited a couple friends! I can't wait to see you guys again! I look forward to it!" he said sending the message, and then opening Shenaiya's. "Yeah, it's the island! I just met up with Alexandra, too, so hopefully we can head over and meet up with you guys! We'll try and get there as soon as we can! And I'm bringing another friend too! Man I can't wait to see you all!" he said, clearly still excited.
Finally, Isis' message, and by now he was slowly making his way back to the pokecenter, to return to the girls. His happiness only increased when she agreed to go to the beach party, and he couldn't help but bounce in his walk as he headed back, a couple of his tics showing up as he rubbed his nose and tugged at his ear, grinning, his energy levels practically off the charts. He'd end up passing out from joy at this point! ... Was that even possible? Oh well! "That's awesome! It's in Kalos-- I can't remember exactly where. I think Cylliage? Sellsage? Something like that! I'll get back to you on the specifics, but I'm starting there now, and I'll check with my friend where we're meeting!" he rambled, giving a happy sigh as he sent the message.
Finally, he returned to the pokecenter, poking his head in to see if the girls were still there, excitedly tapping his fingers against his pants leg and grinning. "You guys ready to go?" he asked.

Cheria smiled at Alexandra, very much relaxed. She then looked at Caldo, and even though she gave a friendly wave, she actually took a step back and looked a little scared. Alexandra suddenly asked where she was from before rewording her question to ask if she was from Kalos. "Yeah. I'm from Coumarine City, though I live in Lumiose with my dad. I should probably go visit Mom in Coumarine sometime." Marx suddenly left to go run - again, what? - and Cheria gave another curious tilt of the head. "Heh....Is he always like this? I've never met someone who get so excited they have to actually run off the energy.""He certainly is an odd one."
Caldo looked at Cheria oddly, face contorting to express his confusion, when she stepped back: it certainly wasn't the reaction he usually got. Was she afraid of something? He whirled around to make sure there was nothing too outrageously frightening behind him, but nope! Absolutely nothing lurked behind him. "Mon?" he scratched his cheek, even more confused. So.. was it him? The Monferno pouted at this revelation, shuffling back around to stare at the girl though he eventually took on an air of curiosity. So weird! This girl was extremely weird! Which meant... inspection time! Caldo took two steps forward, fully prepared to begin his investigation only to be stopped by Alexandra, who held up a hand to put a halt to his progression.
She glanced over at Cheria, the look of fear on her face having not gone unnoticed. Oh dear, another person afraid of her pokemon. "Stay by my side a little longer, Caldo." she suggested, and after a moment or two he complied: leaning heavily against her leg whilst donning another pout. "Oh!" Alexandra perked up when Cheria answered and gave, in her opinion, a satisfactory answer. "Do you mind if I ask you a few questions then? I've only read about the Kalos region in books, but you can always gleam a bit more information from a native."
Alexandra's eyes followed the up and down motion of Marx before she laughed. If it were anyone else, she might've been concerned, but it was Marx-- this was normal for him. She blinked, however, when he claimed that he had to run, and with a cocked head watched as he literally ran out the door. "Alright then. Don't hurt yourself." she called out, though she doubted he'd even heard her. She turned back around and gave a nod. "Yes, he is." it wasn't a surprise to know that Marx wasn't much of a norm. "He's a.." she paused, gathering her words. "Unique person."
It wasn't long for the male in question returned, grinning as usual. "Yes, I am." she pursed her lips, seeming to realize something. "Where.. exactly are we going?"

Marx, obviously, completely missed any conversation about him, staying by the entrance of the pokecenter after he returned, halfway in. Admittedly, he was sort of... keeping the door open, but clearly he was ready to go. And so was Alex! That was great! He hoped she and Cheria were getting along for the... short time he was gone. Obviously, he missed the exchange between Alexandra's Monferno and Cheria. "Kalos!" he answered to Alex's question, still beaming, but finally coming in a little more, "Didn't Rose tell you? We're all gonna go meet up there! And Cheria's gonna come meet everyone." Even if it was to just say hi. He was happy to get to spend time with his friends regardless, though!

Cheria gave an apologetic smile to Caldo and then looked up at Alexandra. So, she was a studious person. "Sure. I don't mind answering some questions." Aaron looked at the Monferno and walked up to stand next to Cheria. "Don't take it personally. It doesn't matter if you're human or Pokémon. Cheria has a fear of males." Looking over at Marx, she smiled a bit. "Kalos, huh? I guess I can be your tour guide. Um....What town are we meeting in?"
Alexandra cut her gaze from Cheria to Marx before offering them both a smile. Oh, the serendipity of it all! She'd been curious about Kalos, and now they were headed for the very region. It was obvious that, for the sake of socializing and curiosity, she'd have to prolong her battle against Wattson, at least until after she got back.
"Do you know anything about Mega evolution?" she questioned Cheria, not wanting to get too lost in her excitement that she forget the few questions she'd managed to scrap together. "I understand the gist of it, but I don't know many details on it." it was the most pressing matter and one that, now, personally concerned her. Xion seemed to have taken well to her newest form, but she herself still had a few questions about it.
Caldo glanced over at Aaron once he approached, only to knock his head to the side, confusion intermingling with curiosity. "Hah?" he pursed his lips lightly, obviously this gender phobia unheard of. "Really? Why? I'd never do anything to her." he paused to think of the many other male pokemon on Alexandra's team who he was almost certain would make an appearance, especially if they were going on a trip. "Neither would the others!" well, maybe Slade would try and scare her.. but that was just Slade.

Marx scrunched up his face a bit when Cheria asked what town they were meeting up in. Oh, this question again. He couldn't really remember what Rose and Shenaiya had mentioned. Uhh... "Sellsiage? Cyllsiage?" he guessed, scratching the back of his head, then giving a helpless sort of shrug, "Something like that, I think. I can double check on the way there! I think we gotta go back to Petalburg and then down to the train to get to Kalos, though, so fi I haven't heard back from my friends by then I'll just send them another message to ask," he replied, grinning nonchalantly and placing his hands behind his head.
He quirked his head to the side like a bird when he heard Alexandra's question, though, stepping back to start leading the way back towards the docks so they could get started. "Mega evolution?" he repeated inquisitively, "What's that?"

"Can't say. It wouldn't be right to divulge Cheria's secrets. I'm a gentleman after all....To her anyway." Cheria tilted her head a bit at Alexandra's question. Mega evolution? She was about to answer when Marx spoke first. Her heart nearly stopped. Cyllage? They were meeting in Cyllage? It was a good thing she was stopping by just to say hello and be introduced to Marx's other friends, because Cyllage was not a place of happy memories for her. "It's pronounced Cyllage, not...Sellsiage or Cyllsiage. Though, I guess those aren't too far off." Marx also asked about mega evolution, though he was asking what it was entirely in contrast to Alexandra, who wanted to know more about it. "It's a special type of evolution. There's not a lot of information on it, and only a few Pokémon have been able to mega evolve so far. Anyway, I know it requires the use of a special stone, and some say a strong bond between trainer and Pokémon. Apparently, some Pokémon go berserk if they mega evolve with a poor relationship with their trainer. But, I don't know if that's true or not." That was the extent of hr knowledge of the subject. If it helped, Cheria would be happy to give Sycamore a call for Alexandra and let her talk to him. He was one of the leading researchers on the matter. "I hear Sceptile can mega evole if it has the right mega stone. That'd be pretty cool, huh, Marx?" As she followed Marx to the docks, Cheria spotted something that was very out of place. A Floette with odd colors. It was pastel...y and kind of pretty. It couldn't hurt to catch it, right? Sheena hopped over to Floette to challenge it to a battle, but Cheria wanted to try her luck before actually fighting it. Getting out a ball, the blonde tossed it at the Floette, only to watch it be caught without even a fight. Well, that was...surprisingly easy. Putting the ball in her bag, she would send Floette to either the PC or Daycare Center later. For now, though, it was off to Petalburg.

As Cheria headed for the docks, she was visited by a Pidgeotto carrying a package from her. It was from her aunt. The package held five Lum, and Cheri berries each, a Lucky Egg - something she wasn't too sure about, one Moonstone, and an Odd Incense. Cheria would definitely take advantage of that sometime. Putting the items in her bag, Cheria patted the Pidgeotto and sent her on her way. "...Hey, it's that Seel from before!" Seel? Oh, right! Cheria forgot about the Seel that was very out of place here in Dewford. Cheria sent Sheena over to talk to it, and see if it would be willing to join them or if she had to battle. Thankfully, Seel turned out to be a friend of the Magikarp Marx gave her. She wanted to come with Cheria to stay close to him. And, that was a relief, because she would have felt horrible fighting the little thing.
Cheria used a PokeBall on the Seel, who was sent to the PC system. Which was a bit disappointing. So, she decided to change her team up a bit. And, it would be a good chance to see how well the Daycare Center worked. It was kind of scary to think about, but she wanted to send Michonne there for awhile. Along with Lilith and Jun. "I'll be right back, you two." She gave her companions a small smile before hurrying back to the Pokemon Center to send the three to the Daycare and grab Seel from the PC.

Walking back to Marx and Alexandra, Cheria was stopped by Pidgeotto again, who looked a bit embarrassed as she dropped a PokéBall in Cherie's hands. "Heh. Don't worry. I'll keep this between us." Pidgeotto was a bit scatterbrained, so she wasn't always perfect on her deliveries, but Cheria loved that about her. It was silly. Pidgeotto flew off and Cherie let the Pokémon out. A Bulbasaur! It was so cute! "I'm going to call you Sonia~!""Bulba! Bulba bulb~!"
"Heh. Alright then, Mr. Gentleman. I won't pry!" of course he was still horribly curious about the blonde's fear of men, but it was obvious that Aaron wouldn't be the one to spill the beans.
Alexandra gave Marx a blank stare, lips lightly pursed, when he named, or at least tried to, the city they'd be convening in-- though Cheria was quick to correct him. Sellsiage and Cyllsiage versus Cyllage... she'd keep from commenting on that one. Besides, how could she when Cheria was explaining, expanding their minds! The eager teen nodded her head, somehow managing to curb the urge to jot down all that was being said, and cocked her head curiously, the 'twinkle' in her eye still detectable. "Is that so?" she displayed the most interest in the last tidbit of information that was shared: pokemon going berserk? How interesting, though terrifying at the same time! "I hadn't even heard of that." of course, with such a danger this possibility posed, it wouldn't be wise to test it out.
Satisfied with her answer, Alexandra took on the role of the silent tag-along: dutifully following Marx and Cheria to the docks, though became a bit distracted when the latter started a battle with a curious looking pokemon, which she ended up fighting. Unfortunately for her, the sight of an unknown pokemon only increased her excitement for this trip. And it was only a train trip away! Well, that wasn't quite accurate: it was a boat ride, a few minutes of walking, and then a train trip away!
