It was unbelievable how brutal the miltank was in close quarters combat. Time and again stomping Grindda into the arena floor all the while Grindda was fighting the effects of attract. He thought grindda lucky just to get three attacks to land but three just wasn't enough to sway the battle to his favor and ultimately Grindda fainted. "Blast it, whats it going to take to win this battle." He gave the subject some thought. Speed along wasn't going to win him the battle nor was force. He needed to Hit this pokemon with something stronger then force along, he needed to be cunning.

Ohmarow knew Dust wouldn't win the battle but her inferno could very well tip the scales of war into his favor. After confiding his plan to the bug type he asked if she would take the fall and help him win. Dust toke her place on the battle field without anything further between them. Her first blast of flames and heat caught Whitney off guard to much so she was left speechless for the first time all battle. But the Miltank was one step ahead and the burns it toke from the inferno quickly healed with the help of a Lum Berry. The second blast wasn't as forgiving and now the Milktank was forced to continue the battle burned. Right before Dust was finally beaten she hit the tubby cow pokemon with an electrified wed, slowing it down to give her replacement a further advantage.

Here is was the final round ! The deciding factors set into place for whether or not he was going to win this battle and all pointed to a single decisive attack ! Brimja having watched the whole battle, watching her friend time and again fall to this brutish monster of a pokemon could no longer stand by and abandoned Ko's side to appointed herself the combatant to beat. He had planed to end the battle with Hoow'brumna but thus far he now been given an attack of opportunity worthy of the risks. Brimja was young much younger then he wanted to admit but if she wanted to take her turn so be it. "Brimja, The child of iron will be my next pokemon whitney. Lets end this once and for all ! Brimja Iron head !"
As the Miltank came around for the last of its Rollout impacts Brimja ignored its trainers orders having learned a move its trainer was yet aware of, Giga Impact ! It knew a simple iron head wouldn't be enough to end this fight. As the Milktank came in close it jumped into the air using a slag of the floor uprooted from the previous battles and using it like a ramp to hit from above. It would however be met with an attack that would rock the very foundation of the building. Brimja stood its ground and waited until it could wait no longer and with one single swift punch launched so fast as to be unseen the battle came to a crashing end as the rapidly spinning Miltank was forced to a dead stop and sent crashing back into the wall behind Whitney, but Brimja having been hit with equal force was herself sent flying and crashing into the wall behind Ohmarow. "BRIMJA !"
Both trainers rushed to the aid of their pokemon. Brimja was in dire need of a pokemon center. Her arm had been dislocated by the sheer force of the impact. He imagined the Milktank couldn't have fared much better though its spin would have absorbed the initial impact a lot better them Brimja. Glancing across the battle field he toke in the sight. The battle field had been washed clean of dust and small rocks at the center point of the impact. The two attacks had caused a shock wave that pushed the area clean of everything but the largest floors broken rubble remains. With drawing Brimja he wished only to collect his gym badge, make sure the Miltank was ok and get Brimja to the center for treatment.
X"Miltank!" Whitney cried, running forward. She knelt by the pokemon, finding it thoroughly knocked out. Standing up with tears brimming in her eyes, she backed up, returning the pokemon and glaring across at Ohmarrow. "You... you... you MEANIE!" she yelled, stomping her foot, and then dissolving into a mess of tears as she dropped to her knees, sobbing pathetically. "I can't believe you beat my pokemon!" she wailed.
"Whitney...." One of the trainers in the gym sighed from nearby, watching the girl and looking to Ohmarrow. "She'll get over it, just give her a second," she informed him, then turned to walk away. Whitney sniffed, wiping her face and standing.
"I guess you earned this," she grumbled, walking over, her nose a bit red but appearing otherwise fine despite her tantrum, "Here. The badge from my gym, and my favorite TM, Attract. It suits me, right?" Recovering fast, she gave a cute little smile and struck a pose, then handed him the spoils of his battle, and nodded. "Guess you'll be onto the next gym. You're going to want to train a lot, though. Good luck!" She stood back, crossing her arms over her chest to let him leave.

Standing up when Ohm finally beat the Miltank, Ko wooted from the bleachers. "Go, Ohm!" She calmed down a bit, leading her team down to the entrance to meet with Ohm. Glancing over to Kezia, she nodded. The fox replied with a nod herself before starting up her Illusion. Leaving a fake Kezia behind, the real one left for the route that lead north out of the Goldenrod city. There the plan would be issued. Ko of course let Nocturnal out of her ball once more, and didn't mention the Megastone in the least. She instead turned to Mila, who reluctantly offered her egg over to Ko. It's heat was something intense, but it wasn't anything Ko couldn't handle. Returning Nena, as well as Hen, for now iit was just a 'to save space' excuse, to which Nocturnal didn't pick up on, as she was currently giddy over believing she'd gotten away with it, and everything was settled. How naive she was.
Of course Ko was already feeling horrible about how she'd be using Ohm and tricking him into her little scheme. During the time she'd been fiddling with her Pokedex, sending Rhieon and Yulia to th Daycare she came across Porteel, the Steelix she'd caught in Iron Island. She'd decided up on it, asking digit to send Viska to her family for awhile, while she had Porteel with her. Being Ohm was a steel-type trainer, so it only made sense that Porteel be trained by him, she really wasn't the one to do so. The same came with Oni, maybe it was Ko's lack of confidence when it came to such Pokemon, but she already had one snake on her team that was going to be hard to train, and she felt bad that Porteel and Oni had to be in their Pokeballs all the time when they were at her parents. Cuddling Mila's egg, the blonde waiting calmly for Ohm to join her.

When at least Whitney stopped crying and he felt he could interact with her without the desire to punch her square in the face for how she was whining over a loset battle when his pokemon was clearly in a great deal of pain he snatched the gym badge and TM from the girls hand and made for the doors, dashing past Ko. It would be almost a half hour before he finally returned to the alleyway. His belt sporting four new poke'balls. The battle had taken such a tole on his pokemon he thought it best to retire them until further notice. Brimja was the worst off and had to be sent to the Azalea city pokemon center, to the nurse joy who knew his pokemon best. He was to check up on her when he got to Ecruteak city. Though he wasn't about to take on another gym leader right away. Whitney might have been a brat but she was right about him needing to train more. He was a bit solom in his mood now. He looked drained and as if struck with sudden depression over a great lose so he wasn't paying full attention to what was going on around him when he got back to Ko. "You read ko?" Even his voice betrayed his mood. He had raised Brimja from an egg so it was heart breaking to see what was to him his child in such a state.
Ko didn't even have the time to properly congratulate Ohm. He dashed by her so quickly she took a moment to realize what he'd said. "Oh... Okay." She felt even worse for what she was about to do, but it was already being planned out, and there was no way to go around it any more. With a sigh, she hugged the egg tight and stepped through the Gym door. Not long after she arrived in the alleyway he'd asked for them to meet at. The whole city appeared in tight lock down from those thieves.. she sort of wondered if she'd even be able to get out of town, but then she remembered Kezia's illusion would likely conceal her and Ohm.
Half an hour later and she was still thinking over the plot ahead, when suddenly Ohm arrived, half-way startling her. He seemed upset, and rightfully so... Brimja was a beautiful Pokemon... His Pokemon certainly deserved the rest. "Yea, All set to go." She replied, stepped forward, and heading straight for the gates out of Goldenrod.
Their escape from the large city was easy enough, as she'd thought Kezia made sure of that. Stopping just outside the gate, she rose a hand in a means to stop Ohm. "Ohm, I was... I was thinking, I have a Steelix, and.... Well, I feel bad he's stuck inside his ball all the time, so I was wondering if you'd like to take care of him?" She had to set this up just right. First they talk for a bit, let Kezia get set up and then from there about halfway through the route it'd happen... the plan to teach Noctural the error of her ways.

Ohmarow had long sense pulled his hood up over his head. The first obvious sign of him closing off or trying to block out the world around him the second was something he'd not done in front of Ko. Pulling from his pocket the broken herb pipe steam he had collected frim his home and chewing on the already well worn metal end was a form of mental aversion from opening up emotionally. Though Ko talking forced him back from his mental void as she was the only person he had ever opened up to, as far as he remembered. Another steelix to train, Wasn't Ozzalu enough. The thought struck a cord or aggravation he was seconds from acting upon as he clinched his fists but the anger subsided when remembering Ko had never seen Ozzalu or knew he even had a steelix. For that matter had he ever told her he had a steelix? The prospect was encouraging as steelix was a rare and very hard to train pokemon, if he could train a second he would get high marks as a trainer but how would Ozzalu take to the idea. Pulling the Heavyball from his belt he gve the idea a once over before answering. "Id need to make sure Ozzalu wouldn't try and injury it. Steelix are highly territorial pokemon and well fight even over their trainers attention." Without saying it he was pretty much confirming that he was interested but also that he had a pokemon Ko wasn't aware of yet, a Steelix of his own. He'd been keeping the pokemon locked inside its pokeball for over 4 months with a ball locking with the only exceptions being to eat and train while back in the Ilex forest. He knew she'd remember the ball from when he had her hold onto it back into the unova region but he'd never confirmed anything past its danger factors. With Ozzalu now willing to obey his commands he was again wiling to train with the over sized beast. But then came the realization, Ko would probably want a pokemon in exchange. "What pokemon of mine would you want to trade? If your not willing or able to train a steelix then you wouldn't stand a chance with my Rhyperior or Metang." Plaatian was off the table before it was on in his eyes. He'd trained it from a Beldum the first week he had started his travels, he had top much invested into the pokemon at this point but besides that it would never obey Ko. They where harder to train then two steelix ever would be.
Oh lord you better get on that then ! For the record when Ko meets Ozzalu for the first time hes even bigger then jasmines steelix. Her was suppose to be 34,05. Ozzalu is 46,11. It was back story from PHL2.
Hesitating for a moment, Ko pondered on Ohm's words. Ozzalu? That had to be the final Pokemon that had been with Ohm during their time in the Ilex forest. She hadn't seen hide nor hair of that last Pokemon. Spotting the Heavy ball it dawned on her that the Pokemon he was talking about had to of been in the ball she was told not to give him under any circumstances. It made her feel worse that she hadn't been there to see him win. Blinking when he asked if she'd like one of his Pokemon she quickly shook her head. "No, no.. I don't want any your Pokemon- N-not that I'm saying their not good enough! Erm, more like... I just wanted to give him to you.. as a gift?" She was growing noticebly more nervous, sucking her bottom lip for a moment before she shook her head, and started forward once more. "Let's just talk when we get further from Goldenrod, okay?" She had to recover from her words back there, and what better way then to pretend she's being held hostage?
Spotting Ko from the brush, Kezia tossed forward what to the group appeared to be a normal everyday Pokeball, it rolled into he path ahead of Ko and Ohm, forcing Ko to stop in her tracks and look to her left to where the ball had come from. Suddenly, the ball opened and a plume of smoke enveloped the group, not long after Ko let out a ear-piercing scream, making Kezia wince. The smoke quickly cleared away with a sea breeze, revealing Ko, facing Ohm, with what appeared to be a Neo-Team Rocket member's arm wrapped around her neck, the other arm fishing through her bag. "Ay, Thought you'd get away with it did you?" Kezia spoke in a more manly voice, rather convincingly at that. She found the Braclet, knowing just where Ko had stored it in her bag, and pulled it free. "You should have thought twice before trying to pull the wool over Team Rocket's eyes!" She continued, Looking up at Ohm and the various Pokemon out of their balls. "Don't try anything funny, or the blonde here will pay double for what she did." Stepping back, Kezia pulled Ko with her.
Meanwhile, Nocturnal stood with her paws clenched together against her chest, a common pose for Lopunny, but this was a more nervous pose, she bit at her bottom lip, with her over-sized bunny ears pulled back, a sign she was worried. Looking up, she tried to look for an answer in Kezia's eyes, but found nothing in the Zoroark's face... the foxes eyes were... just staring, no real emotion to them at all. The real Kezia noticed this, and had her illusioned self step back, a sudden look of anger in the fake fox's eyes. "K-kezia, what do we do?" Nocturnal asked, finding no answer from the fake kezia, but a sharp glare directed towards her. Just then, more grunts started to emerge from the surrounding forest, slowly closing the gap between Ko and the group. Kezia wasn't doing anything... Looking over towards Ohm, she tried to plead him into helping Ko with her eyes, unable to actually speak with the human.

If the day got any worst he thought he might go bold pulling at his hair. Time and again the day had only steadily gotten worse and worse. Unaware that Team Rocket even still held its organization together Ohmarow found himself unable to do much more then grab two pokeballs releasing Kran'gow and Hiigxano. Both of whom stood at the read for a fight but nether wanting to take the chance of hurting Ko. Ohmarow still held Ozzalu's heavyball but he feared to release it. If they attacked it it might just go on a rampage doing more harm then good. So he resorted to the least effective of weapons, idol threats. "Hurt her and ill crush you. There wont be enough of you left to put in a body bag so just take what you want and go." Well aware of what Team rocket was all about he figured a stolen pokemon was less damaging then Ko's safety and besides if they ran off with one he could always unleash Ozzalu then. He level the country side if Ohmarow gave the order.
Stopping, the real Kezia twisted her face into a wicked grin. "Idle threats, you wouldn't dare do anything to harm this woman's head would you?" she called across the field in her low male voice. Glaring down at Ohm's two released Pokemon Kezia turned her attention on Nocturnal, who was still hesitating.
Nocturnal knew this was some sort of punishment. That gem had to of been the biggest heist she'd done, and now she'd put her trainer in harms way. Of course Nocturnal was still of the mindset that at anytime she could just leave and never look back, but... She wasn't a fool, she knew ultimately what was needed for her kind to evolve, and the first human she comes across, that doesn't give up on her right away... allows her to evolve... Their friendship was so thick, but at the same time so translucent. Did that mean... deep down she really wanted to stay with Ko... that she didn't want this relationship with this specific human to end? Narrowing her eyes, she lowered one of her paws. Your darn tootin'!
Using her speed and agile body, the Lopunny took off, bouncing high up into the air, and coming down on the top of one of the fake rocket's head, from there she leaped forward, coming in with a powerful Power-up Punch to Kezia's chest. As she did so, the illusion shattered. One by one the fake Rocket's vanished. Kezia had fallen back with such force it sent Ko down with her, and from that, the blonde's bag's contents began to scattered. Nocturnal cared not for much anything else, grabbing the stone.
When all calmed down, the Lopunny found herself laying on top of Kezia... rather bewildered and a bit upset. "An Illusion?" The Lopunny asked. Kezia coughed a bit as she attempted to sit up. "Yea. Just an Illusion, but a very real circumstance." She replied, looking up at Nocturnal with one eye closed. Both then glanced over to Ko, who'd managed to land on her back, saving the egg from an unfortunate fate. The bunny stood up, letting Kezia rise from the ground, and recast an illusion to once more reappear as her human-like self, the real human-like self. Bouncing over to Ko, Nocturnal aided her in sitting up, the megastone still clutched in her paw. After a bit of coughing herself, the blonde looked over at Nocturnal with a returning kind, warm smile. "Kezia's right.... I'm happy you tried to save me, but Nocturnal.. do you see now? Why I told you not to steal? This could have been a very real circumstance, you never know who you're going to piss off." Getting to her feet, the blonde reached forward and grabbed the Bracelet from the ground. For a moment Nocturnal could only stand there, staring down at the gem in her hand. This had... all been to teach her a lesson? A lesson to not steal from someone she didn't know. a little smile crossed the rabbit's lips before she looked up with an apologetic look. Just then, a shell-like casing surrounded the Lopunny, coiling in, then breaking forward and vanishing, revealing a differently shaped Lopunny. "Just like Hen..." Ko muttered. She then looked up and turned to face Ohm transitioning from a look of shock to an apologetic look herself. Ko hoped Ohm wasn't going to be too angry about this....

The day had gotten gradually worse and worse and this turn of events was like the cream atop the cake. A sense of aggravation and fear mixed with a feeling of being physically weak and sick swept over him forcing him off his feet. If Ko's intention was to freak him out she had done a doubly good job of that today. First a fake attack by rocket grunts then telling him the next gym was a ghost type, what next, he had a Gourgeist on his back ? Nothing could be worse then fighting ghost pokemon short of fighting a Giratina a ghost and dragon type. All he could think about now was how best to quickly beat the gym leader so he could get in and out. He had no intentions of repeating Whitney extended battle fiasco. Kran'gow and Hiigxano were top of the list for the battle but so was Grindda and Zengeon. Grindda would need more time to rest and Zengeon needed to be train more so his options where highly limited to say the least. He'd need to train, hard an fast if he had any intentions of beating this gym leader to come. Ko was obviously in a rush to escape the city but a few wild pokemon seemed to have other idea's about their escape time.

When the battle was over and the pokemon all returned to their pokeballs he made sure to catch back up with Ko as quickly as he could given his legs ability to slow him back down. "Ko, i take it you've beaten this Morty then have you. Do you really think i can beat him." It wasn't really a question as much as it was a statement of his personal strength in battle. He wanted more time to train but wasn't sure how best to pose the question. "Id been thinking, back in Goldenrod, of following you for a while rather then you following me. I want more time to train before taking on another strong gym leader but more then that if i do beat him what about the next gym leader after him?" He hopped the question would sit well with her. His request to train would mean more time stuck in one place. He'd not done as much training as he had wanted back in Ilex forest but that was due more to timing and luck then anything else. If Ko was ok with the idea he was going to train just outside Ecruteak city for a few days before challenging the gym leader.
Never got into the FF games sweatdrop everyone always looks at me like iv just killed their father when i say that but iv always been a poor gamer ( No money ) so i couldn't play many games a kid growing up so now-a-days im limited on what games i like to play.
During Ohm's stop to battle some wild Pokemon, Ko herself slowed down. She realized just where she was heading towards in such a rush. When Ohm asked about if she'd beaten Morty or not she stopped and turned around with a smile. "Yea... I did, and I think you'd fair well." She was almost relieved when he mentioned training some more and instead following her around. "Well... Alright, I'll be honest with you, my next badge here in Johto is in Olivine City." Motioning towards an eastward direction. "Olivine is just to the south east from Ecruteak." Avoiding Ecruteak for now would bode well for her and Ohm alike... She didn't want to put him through any more of her crap, so admitting she was that advanced into Johto's badges wasn't really the worst thing she could of done. She playfully bounced on her heels. "Oh, and the Olivine Gym leader is a Steel-type trainer." She added, knowing that at least would get a positive reaction from Ohm. "Though admitting it was a petite girl was another aspect all together, whatever the case... the prospect of battling someone strong was actually sounding pretty good to her.
