 "and I have grown to care for you as well. It looks like both of our mothers will be happy. Expecially mines, who keeps on saying I'll waste myself away if I didn't find a husband soon" Tsukiko said and chuckled. "are you done with your tea so that I amy wash the cups and put them away?" He then asked.

 "Please, let me," Taini stood, and without another word, swept the cups up, being careful with both. Taini would marry Tsukiko. Or Tsukiko would marry him, was more like it. His head still rang with it. He gulped, nervous already. His mother would be glad, and counting the days till the wedding.
Suddenly, the tall gehaka stopped.
"Huh...Tsukiko...where's the kitchen?" He had a lot to learn.

"well if you insist then you can wash the cups" The haka siad and shrugged, not really seeing it as a big deal. He then chuckled and pointed to a door. "that's the kitchen right there" He said. Tsukiko stood up and took a broom from the corner. He began to sweep the broom, to give himself something to do.

Taini walked to the kitchen and quickly washed both of the cups. He was very careful, not wanting to break either. Slowly, he found where to put them, and rested both cups next to their brothers.
His feet led him back to Tsukiko.
"My mother...and I... would more than likely want to know....when do you want to get married?" The blonde gehaka slowly rubbed his wrist. He knew the bracer would go there, and had dreaded it, but now...he didn't. He wanted it, if it was to be from Tsukiko.

The haka puased for a moment. He thought for awhile before answering, "I'm thinking about this winter, I hope that's not going to be a bad time or too soon for you. When do you prefer we get married?" He set the broom down again and his green eyes focused on the gehaka.

"When ever you wanted Tsukiko, my mother would just like details, I know him," He leaned on the door frame, large wings fluttering for a moment. "He's a little antsy about me and my brothers." He smiled slightly, still a little unsure about all of this. Was Tsukiko completely sure? Or did he still want to fall in love?

"well then, maybe you should go and tell your mother about our wedding plans" Tsukiko said and walked over to the gehaka. "thank you for the lovely figurine and for keeping me company Taini" He said and planted a soft kiss on the other's lips before breaking away.

Taini nearly fell over again, and his face once again red. The haka seemingly knew how to throw him off guard. He coughed, and tried to control the blush, but still seemingly felt Tsukiko's lips on his.
"I will, and I will be around often until the wedding Tsukiko... I meant it when I said I don't want you to be hurt.... but, there is one thing I need, to let the other Haka, and my mother, know I'm not a liar," The blonde gehaka tapped his own wrist, still blushing. It was hard, speaking of such things.

Tsukiko soon realized what the ohter meant. "oh of course, one second" He said and went off into antoher room. He soon came back with a bracer. "you sure you want to where these? they look very uncomfortable" He asked the other.

"I want it...." He couldn't explain himself. It it was Tsukiko, he wanted it there to let the world to know. Slowly, he reached out and stepped forward, to wrap the haka in a soft embrace. The other could push away, and Taini would understand...but he wanted just to hold the other for a moment. His wings twitched again, a bad habit when he was a bit confused.

Tsukiko smiled and hugged the gehaka back. He ran his hands through the blond's hair. Somehow, this felt right. He put the bracers on Taini's wrists. "take care now Taini" He said softly before pulling away. "you can stay a little longer if you want. Soon my half-brother will be home and it would be nice if you stayed to meet your soon to be brother-in-law...also, it gets kind of lonely here"

"Told ya. You need some one here, if only for that," Taini stared down at his wrist. There it was. He smiled slightly, having a feeling that Tsukiko would treat him differently than his own mother did his husbands. "I'll wait to meet your brother."

 Masae walked slowly along the riverside path his high lacquer sandals crunching on the dusty path. He never usually left the house unacompanied, he rarely left the house at all. Today was not usual. He was finally free of his mother and free to do as he pleased.
His back rigid and his steps small and delicate he walked along admiring the narural beauty of the area he seldom saw. In his arms he carried a box wrapped in cloth. The newest addition to his collection and the reason he had been in town.

 The river was calm today, the current weak and peaceful. Under the surface, Enju had been grabbing at fish and had sucessfully caught a few, kept in a basket on the shore. A towel was folded neatly next to it and a pair of plain wooden sandals were placed next to it. Enju wasn't catching fish now. He had untill dinner to to return and it was only the middle of morning.
Everything was crisp and the water biting as he swam about lazily, floating silently on his back, wings pushing the water as he swam lazily against the stream.
