Umori looked up, his interests piqued with a slight frown sprawling across his face. " You're teaching a magic without morals then " he said, in a softer, rather disappointed tone. " If that's what you're saying? One who claims themselves a deity such as you... you plan to... to... defy the natural order of the world because it's rules are not to your liking? " To him nature and it's laws were everything. To be blessed with being able to control even a tiny fraction of the world, It wasn't because he chose to defy anything. It was a gift, through family and through blood. He was starting to wonder if taking this class at all was worth it.

Honey sat on the table cross-legged as he listened to Loki speak. He had his full attention now. He wondered how Japanese mmagic differed from Loki's magic?JHe would have to ask at a later date by for now he just opted to sit and listen.to the lecture. He could understand where the Norse god was coming from, mentally taking notes as the teacher continued.[/imgright]
Kayden walked into the classroom with a book floating in front of him, the book was something his father had sent him on learning to control element, something he struggled with, it wasn't that he couldn't control it, but pulling water or fire out of thin air seemed impossible, and when he came close, he had ended up hurting himself, especially when it came to conjuring fire. He gave a shy indifferent smile to the teacher before walking to a empty desk that was toward the left of the classroom. He grabbed the book floating in front of him and placed it in his bag. Then gazed at the other students, each one seemed unique in there own way, they all kind of had strong will about them too, each person was different, and he began to feel somewhat intimidated, the class obviously had started awhile ago... And here he was extremely tartie. He stole a glance toward the professor, and titled his head, the tall dark haired man seemed off to him for some reason... His honey brown eyes quickly retreated from the direction of the teacher, already feeling uncomfortable by his pressance...

Loki ignored the new arrival in favor of zeroing in on the boy who spoke out of turn, namely Umori. He found his remark annoying and insulting though this was not hard to achieve with the god. He narrowed his eyes at the boy as he eyed him like a hawk and began to walk towards him, "Mind your tongue boy, lest you seem ignorant. The only morality magic has depends on how it is wielded and though it may have many rules it is by it's very nature designed to break them. To tear down the very fabric of reality. To bend nature, to mold physics, this defies all rulings. To wield magic is to make the universe your play thing. Magic disturbs natural order and replaces it with a new one which is why there are so many consequences and why it is so very dangerous. You see, there is a difference between magic and natural ability. Magic is learned, taught. It is disruptive. Hereditary traits, genetic abnormalities such as mutant powers is not magic but natural order. Evolution. What most mortals call magical beings is not how I perceive this world as I have watched it grow from it's infancy. In this class I teach magic, true magic: spells, incantations, curses, potions, transfigurations, transportations, manipulations, illusions, enhancements, and chaos. If you wish to hone a genetic trait passed down by your ancestors I can do that too but that is not magic. And to clarify, I claim nothing, I am a god. And should you need proof of it I shall demonstrate." Loki completed his rather long rant, growing in fury. He did manage to real it in at the last moment and compose himself as he recalled he had promised to behave but it was obvious the trickster was a little more then peeved. A sore spot had been hit and the charming psychopath had left for a moment and was replaced with a seething god but he seemed to have controlled himself for the time being. Loki turned away as if to aid in his composure with the intent of continuing but took a moment to pause with an almost mocking query, "Any questions thus?"

Kayden listened as the proffecer began to lecture one of the students, explaining how magic is somewhat a contridiction, how it breaks its own rules... In a weird way... That makes sence, in my line of practicing magic, its always had rules of some sorts, but loop holes can always be found to break rules... As a matter fact... Its how magic has evolved with humans... Breaking rules to expand knowledge of what we're actually doing... Or at least how I've seen it... Kayden spoke in a soft smooth low voice and one could easily tell that his conversations might be too eccentric for most people take. Kayden began to look around as if just realizing he just thought out loud, one of his flaws of speaking his thoughts instead of thinking them. He gave a small smile to indicate a apology of interrupting his lesson before he quietly spoke,sorry... Please continue... in his soft spoken voice.

Deveraux bit his lip to keep from laughing outright. He had Stelian's number on speed-dail just incase the god got to be a bit much on the students, but right now this was freaking great. Deveraux's attention had been caught by a new guy walking in and he gave him an appreciative once over. He looked at Loki. "Would it help if I said ya were gonna be ma favorite teacher here?" The cajun boy asked with a grin
Honey just say there and continued to observe, inwardly shaking his head. His teacher had a temper. Course he did. He actually gave a snort at Deveraux's statement after giving a look towards the newcomer before returning his attention back to Loki who look ready to strangle someone but was holding himself back as it would not look good if a student got himself strangled. Or worse.

Loki gave a stern yet calm glance at Deveraux, not completely enjoying the humor in his voice. He turned his attention, however, to Kayden and began to walk towards him after hearing him speak, "Actually you've grasped the subject matter quite well." Loki admired the actual intellectual comments that came out of the boy's mouth unlike the dribble from before, "Rules are made to be broken, and do to the nature of magic each reality or community has the capability of evolving a different method of magic. However, the root and core is the same. For example the magic I possess is a combination of magic and science, or at least that is the simplest way I can explain it. They work in tangent. This is how my culture evolved which by mortal standards makes no sense. But for most, knowledge is your greatest strength and I will stress this. Knowledge before any magic. This is your power and it will win you your war."

Biting his own lip gently Jiro looked around the class as he took a small breath as he leaned against the other but as well hide behind him softly. Gently he looked around as he saw some people into the classrooms as he bite his own lip softly as he shivered gently but he held on. "Which one is the teacher?"he asked gently and softly.

Looking over gently and softly Jiro held onto him as he watched who he was describing before tilting his head gently but he nodded. Softly he looked up at his friend softly, "Can you ask him if he is or no?"he asked weakly now extremely shy.

At least this will make up for the confusion earlier. "Alright, Jiro" he said to his friend. He walks on in the classroom a few feet inside, "Pardon me sir, but are you Loki Laufeyson, the teacher of this class?" he asked the dark long hair male remembering seeing the name next to the classroom on the wall. ████████████████████████████████████████████████

Jiro looked over watching Matsuri talk to the teacher as he walked over to him and held onto his arm gently and softly as he took a small breath. Gently he watched calmly but seeing the teacher here was the one or was he just a teacher for a different one. Biting his own lip he saw he was not answering he looked at Matsuri, "Seems that he is not answering. Matsuri what if he is teacher for a different teacher"he said gently.
