Page Ba Sing Sei - 195 HP - Targeting Griffon Youma Clare for 6 damage!
Someone had actually listened to him -- of course, it was someone who looked about as old as his oldest son, which didn't really make Ba Sing Sei feel too great about the whole thing. But it just went to figure one of the only powered guys on his side who took the time to help him out was a kid. "Listen, ki -- Oberon, " given the whole spiel, he doubted the younger sensei would appreciate a 'kid' slipping out of habit. "I'll save you the trouble. I don't know jack s**t about this -- this -- THIS, " he brandished his cabbage futilely with a grimace that was almost a smile. "You help me get home to my kids, I'll do whatever the hell you tell me to -- "
Someone else was trying to distract that thing, which was nice. It was a pretty impressive display aside from the fact that it almost completely missed. "Also, I'm fine!" He ached from the tumble and he'd smacked his elbow a little harder than he'd expected on the cobblestone, but nothing he couldn't survive. "Thanks for -- "
Asking, he was going to say. But then the a*****e went ahead and targeted the kid instead of him, and in spite of himself, gratitude mingled with the reminder that this kid couldn't have been that much older than his. So Ba Sing Sei did something he had a feeling he was going to regret.
"CABBAGE, GO!" And he threw his poor cabbage with all of his might.

Health: 100, attacking Massive Youma Jessel for 5 damage
Letting loose another expletive, Glitnir fell flat on his butt when the massive youma stomped its foot, though thankfully nothing seemed to be bruised but his pride. And Hvergelmir. Again. (Stop 'checking on her' so much, you idiot, he thought. He swore he couldn't help it, but he knew he could.) The Squire he had first seen when he arrived also seemed to be in trouble, but the mouthy dove senshi seemed to be helping out. So for now, he was "free" to prioritize the big stupid giant. "A little help over here?!" he called out, revving up his scales for another blow...
And he hit solidly again this time! It was a bit hard to tell if the youma was even bruised by the impacts, but he felt he was doing something. Something. He would chip at this youma bit by bit by bit if he had to.

The youma didn't exactly give them much time to converse, before he had to dart out of the way of the big one taking a swing. "Hvergelmir!" He called, knowing she'd been well and in range -- and if he was going to worry aobut anyone directly, it would be her. He remembered, sort of, tales of an oath of nonviolence, which meant that she might well not be a particularly competent fighter.
Nott hat he was, either, really, but he had to try.
That large thing was going to have to be the first thing they took down, or so he figured. They were all dangerous, but something that could squash them flat with a direct hit seemed far moreso.
He unwound his scarf from around his neck, taking a small breath, and then he used it like a lasso, wrapping it around the thing's ankle and pulling.
Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, Phact used the attaction the masked youma had for the knight to her advantage. Later, she would need to apologize but for now, she jumped back to give her a touch more distance allowing her to spin in and come back with another elbow.
This time she aimed for those back muscles. If her guess was right, carrying the heavy blades around took an effort. One which she was going to try to throw off balance.
Though she did admit that she had the sudden desire to sneeze. Curse someone thinking about her.
Hvergelmir Knight - 192 HP - (12+6) HP = 174 HP - targeting Feline Youma Ser Pounce for 8 damage.
Hvergelmir was initially pleased to find that her plan to draw another youma into the huge one's path was working -- initially, until she found that this had drawn the specific attention of the giant youma toward her as well. It stomped the ground again, aiming for her, and she stumbled, thrown awkwardly --
-- Straight into the path of the cat-like monster, diving at her with a mouth full of teeth wide open.
It caught her right hand with a sickening crunch, giving her no time to scream as she felt several of the small, delicate bones give way. Its hideous teeth were sunk hard into her skin; she saw it starting to wind its head to one side to gear up for a backsnap in the other direction that was likely to snap more bones. With her free hand, she grabbed another piece of broken brick off the ground and started bashing the creature in the head with it until it let her hand go. She fell backward, curling her body protectively in around her injured hand.

Scout Sandrine Health:100 HP physical, targeting Griffon Youma Clare for 3 damage
Alright, that kid smacked that thing harder than you and your magic. Do something! You can't let some...heraldic...monster thing eat a kid. Sandrine leapt down from the small vantage and sprinted over on flank, aiming a wild blow for the youma's face and hoping to connect and get it to leave off the kid (Oberon).
If nothing else, he seemed more effective at fighting it and maybe it would create an opening for the young guy.

On a scale of "I shouldn't have answered the call" to "why do I get myself into these messes" Bifrost was sitting at a good "by the Bifrost why do I do this" level. Which on any normal 1 to 10 scale would have been a solid 7. Not entirely scared for her life, but certainly questioning her choices.
Which of course is why she ran up to the giant youma and started kicking one of it's legs. Hard. Repeatedly. Because clearly what you do at level seven of your one to ten scale is throw yourself completely and whole heartedly into the fight knowing full well the youma was going to send you flying to your mostly likely untimely death.
Because you're a magical superhero in an assassin's outfit and draw your power from a mystical bridge on a rainbow road in the middle of space.
[Falias is targeting Feline Youma Ser Pounce for a total of 6 damage]
Despite the fact that he'd chosen to target the giant youma last time round, this time round Falias decided to go after the feline youma. He had selected another piece of stone from the wall that the giant youma had so casually smashed as he considered targets.
He had considered and discarded going after the giant youma - after all last time hadn't gone particularly great and besides some of the others around were also focusing their attention on youma-giant.
The griffin youma and the masked youma had also seemed to be in hand so instead Falias had lobbed the stone at the feline youma that seemed to have decided to focus its attention on Hvergelmir.

Well, s**t, thought Babylon, in regards to the Negaverse trying to take over Avalon - and the fact that she was apparently here somewhere, unconscious and suspended within a magical barrier. Why couldn't he just date someone normal? Why had he gone and gotten himself mixed up in this?
Oh. Right. He loved her.
As the battle took off, Babylon found himself quickly overwhelmed by the flurry of activity around him - he wasn't quite as non-combative as Hvergelmir, but it was hardly his strongest suit. Especially with everyone moving at once... it was just very confusing.
When he finally regained his bearings, Babylon turned towards the massive youma - it would be the hardest to take out, and therefore he figured it should be where they concentrated their firepower for the time being. He ran forward, swinging his lantern like a flail, hoping to get a good hit in.
Squire Palatine - 147 - 3 = 144 HP - Targeting Masked Youma Kevan for 12 damage!
Palatine was dimly aware of the other battles going on around her. There was that Mars knight from when she'd first arrived, taking on the massive youma and requiring assistance, but she didn't have the opportunity to offer. There was still this masked youma to contend with, and she was taking it on entirely on her own.
If anyone needed help, it was the Squire who'd spent two years avoiding the fact that there was a war until those moments when it was staring her in the face.
Luckily, a Senshi in white happened to come by and offer some assistance, and though it galled Palatine to require the help of a girl who must have been twenty-years younger, it was a necessary blow to her pride. She'd be stupid to reject the help with the youma's disturbing contortions putting it once again face to face with her.
“Thanks,” Palatine said. It was all the appreciation she could muster at the moment, so disgusted was she by the entire situation.
Not in an “ew, gross” sort of way, of course. She'd been through childbirth twice; she could handle gross. Rather, in a “how do I even get myself into these things?” kind of way.
Of course, the midst of battle was not the time to be lamenting her fate. While the Senshi in white went for the youma's back, Palatine aimed a well-aimed right-hook to the youma's face.
