Health: 150Megrez gave an exasperated sigh at Kairatos. Why didn't Penthe just let her defend her honor? Any grumbles she may have had on the subject quickly disappeared as the Knight sent a burning bull in the direction of the Captain. She would admit that she was impressed with his thinking to do a long-range attack. "Not bad. But we're going to have to go down and face her eventually, unless she comes up here. Until then... I've got a youma to find." She began stomping around the space, eying every visible inch for a sign of the spider youma.

Penthe took a moment to blow Megrez a quick kiss for attempting to defend her honor, and then started scanning the area for the spider youma. It seemed intelligent, which was always upsetting - she hated smart youma. She was still catching her breath from the incredible power of her magic strike, and was, for once, not eager to let off another one. Maybe it was something about the area, maybe it was something about her new markings, but that had been more magic than she'd slung so quickly before, and she was worried that using too mcuh too fast would eat her up, somehow.
But that didn't mean she did nothing. No, she walked right over to the dge of the floor, plopped herself down, and let her legs dangle through the hole. Not entirely safe, but she was pretty sure she could survive the fall to the ground.
"Tell me somethin', Captain, d'you know what I am? 'Cause lemme tell you somethin', I ain't just an Eternal Senshi. This glowy s**t ain't for show -- you saw what I did t'your youma. You sure you wanna find out what I can do t'you?"

Thraen Personal HP: 193
Well, summoning Bulls is ...a useful magic. She can still teleport. I do not trust that last youma not to have something up its sleeve worse than spikes and knives. But rather than wait standing still, Thraen moved to leave the ruin proper to surrounding grass, keeping near to it but only venturing to where the Bull had already dozed through high grass or sprung waiting traps.
"Now might be a good time to consider moving, everyone. Out of the danger of floor or rock collapse of the rest of the tower ruin."

Porcine Youma Circe is dusted! Three blows later, Circe falls to the ground, its reign of terror ended. Vulpine Youma Sunchild is dusted! Sunchild collapses under Penthesilea's focused magical attack, and turns to dust. It leaves behind a couple of teeth, small, sharp, and crystalline. Owl Youma Pwylla is dusted! Pwylla does not stop screaming its too-human scream until Megrez's foot ends its life. Spider Personal Youma Jesse [50 - 7 = 43HP] is targeting Eternal Sailor Penthesilea with poison. [6dmg/turn until healed] The temptation of the legs dangling through the hole is too great for Jesse. After climbing its way back up the wall after Liryn's cat beam blasts it down, it lunges forward to bite Penthesilea. Captain Jamestonite [150 - 14 = 136HP] is out of range! She hurls herself out of the way of the bull, but it's not fast enough to evade the flames. Jamestonite yanks off the separate collar and poncho, leaving her coattails on the ground and her upper body covered in a simple sweater. "I don't want to fight you," she shouts, her weapon--a riot baton--appearing in hand. "I want you to leave! No one has to get hurt!"

Dallol - HP: 150, Attacking Spider Personal Youma Jesse for 6 damage
The talking spider youma was close as evident by the flitting Chaos aura prickling Dallol's senses. Darn creature was not only fast but smart as well, using the cover of the wooden floor to hide from plain view while waiting for an opportune moment to strike. Seeing that the Negaverse Captain was busying herself retying her shoes and disinterested in any acts of aggression any time soon, the Squire squinted at the floor, trying to see if she could track the spider youma somehow.
She blinked when Liryn suddenly released his kitty beam attack at the spider, this being the very first time that she was seeing both a guardian and its magical beam attack in action. "Nice one talking kitty!" It apparently was too soon to celebrate however for as soon as the spider youma regained its bearings, it almost immediately retaliated by lunging towards Penthesilea.
Maybe it was the Eternal Senshi's taunting. Maybe it was the rather eye catching glowing runes that covered her body. Whatever the reason that was making her a prime target for their enemies, Dallol was not about to squander an opportunity to dust the spider youma now that it had finally emerged as a result of Liryn's earlier attack, swinging her weapon in an arc at the creature now as she called out a warning to Penthesilea. "Incoming! Whatever you do, don't move!"
Hopefully the blow would connect with the youma and not the Eternal.

"Call off your spider and I'll call off my bull!" Kairatos shouted back to the Captain, determined to call her bluff. People had already been hurt... and Thraen was right. They should get out of here. Get someplace where that ******** spider wasn't literally under their feet. "Surrender Captain! You can't win this!" Were her superior officers like the ones he'd served under? Did they know they'd sent her to what might very well be her death? Just her and youma against all of them? "I can chase her down if you've got this..." He offered to Thraen. His motives were not entirely the noble distraction he hoped they'd be seen as. He hoped that she'd surrender, that she'd get out of this alive, that maybe she'd be someone who could be saved, like he had, though he also guiltily stooped to try and grab one of the crystaline fangs from the fox, curious, and watching for the spider that Penethesia and Dallol had covered... he hoped. You didn't see youma drop too many trophies and he was curious. Rolling for Asterion who will probably disappear next round? IDK he lasts 45 seconds, disregard if enough time has passed. HP:193

Penthe nodded, and started to shift to drop through the hole and down to the first floor. "Th' Captain's th'real danger here, I think, best t'go after her --"
And then the goddamn spider latched onto her leg, and she shrieked. Her first reaction was to smack at it, desperately, though she moved her hand out of the way for the Squire to whack it with her weapon.
"Getitoffgetitoff GET IT ******** OFF ME," she yelped.

Gillitie Squire's Current HP: 144, targeting nothingGillitie could only spare an askance look at the Eternal Senshi's screaming, so she shoved Penthesilea out of the way and moved to drop down the hole to the first floor. If she could say so herself, the movement was rather elegant, but also it was being compared to a young woman flailing at a magic spider -- so any sense of comparison was a bit skewed. If nobody else directly felt the need for movement, well -- she was a Squire of Earth, and she would be an effective individual! ...As long as nothing went wrong. But that was true of everyone, surely. Songstress Kitsune for mention and movement!

Thraen HP= 193 Targeting Spider Personl Youma Jesse for 1 dmgSizing up from below, 'handling the spider seemed like a cross between hitting a pinata and a volleyball spike. "Handle her! I'll tail you." Don't go alone after anything. We have enough people that it should always be at least pairs. Starseeds are too easy to access, and I don't know if captains can summon up more youma the way Buddingtonite did when Vespa went to purify. He set into a jump, meaning to hit the youma, but distracted at the last as Gillitie Squire actually shoved Penthe. He only tipped the Youma, shifting in his own return by gravity in the case he needed to catch Penthesilea. At this point, it was more important that she didn't end up broken from another's carelessness.

[5dmg] [+6dmg for poison from last round] Jesse has been busy. The antechamber of the tower is festooned with sticky webs, designed to catch each senshi or knight as they dropped through. It uses the time this buys to recover, stretching out some of its smushed limbs and shuddering. Then it skitters along its webs towards Penthesilea, fangs still bared. Captain Jamestonite [150 - 14 - 3 = 133HP] is out of range! "I can't," she yells, frustrated. She flings off her sweater and, quick as a snake, brings the riot baton down across Asterion's back. The summons disappears and she presses a hand to her burnt shoulder, an expression of barely concealed agony on her face. A shockwave of Chaos blasts by them, going out to sea. Jamestonite shrieks: " Cipritine!" She takes a few faltering steps towards the forest, both hands at her side. For the moment, she is giving no commands. Just... waiting for something.

Kairatos Knight of Mars was, perhaps, slightly distracted by a tiny buzz of energy around his own hand as his signet ring buzzed silently to life, a little holographic projection hovering in the air. The young woman in the projection wore the elegant, if battle-stained, garb of a knight of the Cosmos, her normally well-coiffed hair looking notably more disheveled than usual. She seemed concerned, and spoke so hastily that it was obvious she was in a hurry. "Hi," she said quickly, "So this is a weird question, but where are you right now?"

Kairatos jumped slightly, juggling a crystalline tooth in his palm, distracted from answering Thraen by the unexpected image of tiny Hvergelmer. s**t, it really as rather Star Wars, wasn't it? "I um... I think it's a wonder? It's a big tower and... ******** if I know what happened but I think someone just dropped a Chaos bomb." He crinkled his nose and repressed the urge to shudder in the wake of the shock wave. "Where are you? Are you ok? What's going on?" Her disheveled state made him strongly wish again for the ability to teleport, something he did miss from being a Captain. "Thraen and I are about to move on a Captain who was chucking some Youma at us." He added, a heads up that they would be on the move. Not as fast as Asterion, he hoped the Captain's distraction would hold. He glanced to Thraen with a faint shrug, not sure if he should hang up, worry about the equal amount of chaos behind them in the now literal spiderhole, or continue with the plan. "She's fast." he observed, as a side note to the Senshi of Gardens. Less because he didn't think that Thraen would have seen the speed of her strike, but because they'd need to take it into account.

The little holographic image of Hvergelmir nodded her understanding. Her voice piped forth again, another little rapid-fire barrage of unfiltered thoughts as quickly as she could jump between them. "Okay, yeah -- " She paused, looking around for a moment at something unseen. " -- we're at Avalon, I think you guys are probably here too. We just dealt with some youma, but we didn't see any agents -- " Again she looked around -- reasons unknown. "Chariklo says there are Negas back in the woods -- and that Avalon Page is there, too. Can you see a forest around you? We're in a town -- do you guys want to try and make your way to us? Should we come to you? Do you need backup -- how many are with you? We're eleven total."

It was probably for the best that there were webs, because Gillite's shove sent the already off-balance Eternal tumbling through the hole in the floor. Her fall was slowed by being tangled in the webbing, which also meant that when she went to smack back the spider, her attack was very much hampered. <********' spiders," she said, under her breath, in what sounded very much like a pathetic whimper, "why did it have t'be spiders?" Then, she raised her voice a little. "Thraen, can y'help me get outta this? Pretty sure that if I flail too much more I'll strangle myself or some s**t."

"We'll come to you, fewer of us." Kairatos suggested, They'd move more quickly trying to meet up with the larger troupe. "Five or six, including a cat. One of the senshi could probably use a bandaid or two if anyone's got some healing boosts. Penny here's bleeding energy like Babylon and it's definitely interesting to the youma we've encountered." She was tough, but tough only got you so far. Charilico huh? He remembered the Dark Mirror Senshi from dreams but had not met her before them, it would be... interesting to see her in ... person? The terms to use for the entire experience were just weird, but it sounded like she was standing with them yet again. It could be their little secret, Zia wouldn't trust them a bit. "Let's get Penny and the rest out of the hole, then we can march, keep a perrimiter around the most injured, keep off any more youma." He suggested. Change of plans, but knowing there were others here... it didn't seem unreasonable. "Or...?" He left the question hanging, in case Thraen wanted to offer an alternate suggestion. Having back up against even a captain wasn't a horrible idea. Bischophite had been happy enough to remind him of that.
